Mar 31, 2025Bizarre, unfiltered and mind-blowing. The experience in KARMA: The Dark World is insane, just the way I like it and the way a psychological horror game should be. Although it has some technical issues, it manages to deliver tension without the need for overdoing the famous "jump scares".

Apr 2, 2025Karma: The Dark World is a rare game that offers stark familiarity but challenges the concept of normalization. Its mechanical trappings keep it grounded and mildly rote. But it is horror with minimal jump scares. Techno-thriller via existential dreams. Disparate elements made tenuously coherent. Beyond any critique, however, Pollard Studio, with their debut, have made a game with truly stunning visual direction that only the most seasoned directors have achieved.

Mar 31, 2025A gripping psychological thriller set in a dystopian East Germany, blending immersive storytelling with a striking art direction and intriguing themes of memory, love, and control. While it lacks groundbreaking mechanics and has minor performance issues, its strong narrative, surreal visuals, and atmospheric tension make it a highly engaging experience.
-
Mar 27, 2025With a story full of twists and turns, Karma: The Dark World will equally draw you in and confuse you. Still, it's an interesting game on the whole, which tries to pack in a wide variety of gameplay elements and tackle some dark themes, though it doesn't always do so with finesse.

Apr 30, 2025Karma: The Dark World is a trippy ride through the mind of others and one that is very surreal.
-
Mar 30, 2025KARMA: The Dark World delivers a strong dystopian atmosphere and an intriguing yet vague narrative. Puzzle-heavy gameplay and minimal hints can be frustrating, but lore enthusiasts may enjoy the extra depth. A solid pick for psychological horror fans, though action lovers might want to look elsewhere.

Mar 30, 2025We are faced with a game that falls halfway, with great ambition in theory, but little in execution. In conclusion, Karma: The Dark World is a game with the potential to go further than it has. It is tedious to play, and its story does not contribute as much as it pretends to.
