    Pretty good game and graphics don’t let this Game scape. Story pretty good and gameplay too. I think this game is underrated and bad luck came out the same year as eldenring but this game could be GOTY easily

    This title can be represented in 3 simple words: mammoth, extreme and maniacal care. The game is not only next gen but at times it seems to have set new standards for the next gen. The visual sector is a scream and the audio sector takes advantage of the tempest system. Incredible fluidity in the gameplay and the numerous variety of machines to be able to face. Title that is a candidateThis title can be represented in 3 simple words: mammoth, extreme and maniacal care.     Imagine not playing the game and giving it a 0. Sony games have basically become Marvel movies to consumers. And now it's either you love it or hate it. This game is a technical fun masterpiece. Another great example as to way you should have a playstation if you care about having amazing experiences in games.

    It's an absolutely amazing game, I love it my favorite game to date. Thank you Guerrilla Games for making something so amazing, so well done. Every detail, every change is noticeable and they are good changes. This game is a true AAA. I love you Aloy.

    It's not a 10/10 game and it's not a 0/10 game either, I'm just responding to the fanboys review bombing a great game.
    My actual score would be an 9/10 the reason why:
    The Anti Aliasing solution is outdated and shouldn't be used on any modern game. Please use TAA with proper sharpening. The game still lacks in terms of climb mechanics and the upgrades from zero dawn are minimal, the    It's not a 10/10 game and it's not a 0/10 game either, I'm just responding to the fanboys review bombing a great game.
    My actual score would be an 9/10 the reason why:

    Guerilla improved on HZD's weaknesses in most if not all areas, and doubled down on its strengths. The result is absolutely wonderful. The main story is mind-blowing, the side content is excellent and compelling, the combat is per usual very engaging and a challenge, the world is drop dead gorgeous and teeming with life. There is just so much to see and do, it's quite overwhelming. GorillaGuerilla improved on HZD's weaknesses in most if not all areas, and doubled down on its strengths. The main story is mind-blowing, the side content is excellent and compelling, the combat is per usual very engaging and a challenge, the world is drop dead gorgeous and teeming with life. There is just so much to see and do, it's quite overwhelming. Gorilla truly took their time and poured their hearts into every little detail put into this. I am not the least bit surprised that a AAA PlayStation exclusive is being review bombed by window-licking Xbox degens who have been stuck in last place for the last 20 years and counting.     Best game I've played in a very long time. The graphics are nothing less than amazing, and the upgrades from the previous game are plentiful. What amazes me the most is how even the side missions have so much content and story that they end up feeling like part of the main quest. Gorilla and Sony did an amazing job. This is definitely game of the year for me.

    Great looking game, fun game play, amazing story. Not sure why people care about hair on a woman’s face, seems kinda weird and low to review bomb a game based on real anatomy, but to each their own I guess. Looks good on the PS4 as well and it’s a free upgrade to ps5 version.

    PS: you need to play the first game to understand most of what’s going on.

    This is a great sequel to what I felt was the best PS exclusive last gen. As of writing this I’m about 5 hrs in and it keeps getting better. If you liked the original you’ll love this one. Don’t pay any attention to the trolls review bombing a game without reason.

    El nuevo mundo de horaizon es una locura!! El diseño de los personajes es brutal me sorprendió que hasta el npc menos importante este bien detallado con unos modelados de personaje impresionantes horizon da ejemplo de cómo deberían de ser los npc en un juego de mundo abierto y no optar por la via fácil usando el mismo npc 200 veces con diferentes ropa... He disfrutado cada minuto que paseEl nuevo mundo de horaizon es una locura!!     Horizon Forbidden West is an awesome game! The graphics looks great on the PS5, the combat has definitely improved from its predecessor. Overall, Aloy journey was a lot of fun to explore!

Dialogue and face animations are all natural looking and sounding with plenty of extra spoken lines depending on situation and what you’re doing. Easy 10/10 score. Anyone who actually plays will see how incredible it is. Don’tAbsolutely gorgeous! Playing on PS5. Fun to play and controls perfectly.     I really like the game, but yes it has also his weaknesses, the graphic mode (30FPS) is ugly to play and also the story is not on the same level than on Horizon Zero Dawn.     20 hours in and barely half way through the story. the side quests are world class. graphics are phenomenal. and wonderful use of the duel sense. such a dense world with so much to explore. Guerilla has out done themselves!

    The visuals on the PS5 is amazing if you play on resolution mode. Really, mindblowing. Performance mode not so much unfortunately. There are also some lighting bugs here and there.     A brilliant sequel to a great first game. Although the genre may not appeal to everyone, and explanation ocasionally takes a bit too much of gameplay time, the game is fun, beautiful and well presented, yet may benefit from some future patches.

When one company has been striking out for at least one entire generation--going on two now--whilst the other continues to deliver hit after hit after hit: reviewers will obviously flock to the machine most enjoyable to play, and, they can earn a decent amount of money on (because guess which games most gamers are looking at the most? Why are ya'll even here right now? Anxiously, seeing that 88 and, oh **** they did it again; gotta' SHOW them that their games teh suck omg like omfg!).

    Very few--if any--games deserve an absolute zero.

    Having quite a few hours into this game: I see through every one of ya' **** try me: PLEASE!

    Really. Try and fool me. See how far ya' get.
    Try and debate me as well; especially over these excuses to review-bomb.

    Which: I called well-before the game released. I knew if it was another hit (and especially beat Halo: Infinite; oh no!): review-bombs away! And here we are.

    Grow a dick, people, and stop **** these unreliable user-rated scores up (unreliable from review-bombing, of course).

    Fantastic, gorgeous, intuitive, DEEP as hell; Ignore the bots; their X'd out, if ya' catch my drift.

    It's worth buying a PS5 for this game alone.
    But, take my word or trust the inane excuses these silly Microflacid fanboys "pretend" to experience. But always be cautious of 0's and even 10's, like I'm giving it (thus far...and I don't see it dropping; if anything, I'm loving it more...and more...and more).

    PS: Give us some details, 0's, about what the controls feel like and such. Anything useful; "the graphics hurt my eyes". Wow.

    The gameplay and story and character development is impressive. However, the dualsense functions and its hyper-realistic graphics make this Horizon installment unforgettable and unique. worth a try whether you played the first one or are new to the world.

    I am absolutely blown away so far! I’ve only played four hours but I’m speechless. It’s everything I’ve wanted this game to be. The review bombs are kind of sad and I haven’t experienced any of the glitches people are talking about. Definitely GOTY candidate!

    Horizon Forbidden West is a fantastic open world experience. Guerilla Games put a lot of work into improving and enhancing many aspects of the first game. Amazing graphics, great combat and so far a lot of interesting main and side quests.

    I am absolutly enjoying this game on PS5. It’s the reason i bought a PS5 and a new tv. And boy does it look great! Awesome graphics and sounds and i love the design of the monster-machines and it’s stunning environments.

    About 20+ hours into the game now and so far it's everything I had expected. The level of writing is both high and consistent, akin to Witcher 3 quality (which to me set the bar pretty damn high). If you are looking for great narrative, believable fleshed out characters, and great world building, this is for you. Gameplay is a bit hard to master if you're new to the series but difficultyAbout 20+ hours into the game now and so far it's everything I had expected. The level of writing is both high and consistent, akin to Witcher 3 quality (which to me set the bar pretty damn high). If you are looking for great narrative, believable fleshed out characters, and great world building, this is for you. Gameplay is a bit hard to master if you're new to the series but difficulty and accessibility options can easily remedy it. As others mentioned, Aloy does backseat a lit but it doesn't bother me that much. Climbing is perfectible but is ok to me. Experienced very few bugs (a big frame rate drop that needed rebooting the game and one crash with my not so stable ps4 pro) Also hate to see this game review-bombed by idiots who think women have no facial hair, when the game oozes its production value in every shot. Overall, the is the AAA excellence any studio should aim for. Simply a great game.… Expand

    Having only played half of zero dawn, I went into forbidden West as a completely new game and not counting the first one as only got half thru it. Graphically the game is fantastic, I'm enjoying the story and gameplay and I am having a blast with it. Definitely worth the money.

    I'm not a fan of the first Horizon game. I played and it was kinda boring for me, but the graphics and robots were amazing though.

    But this new part is amazing. I'm enjoying it and it's an enormous amount of improvements were made. It's interesting to discover this world and gameplay is much more dynamic this time.

    The world of forbidden West is breathtaking In it's graphics, it's attention to details and it's density and excellent side quest missions. The gameplay is top notch with added improvements from the first game. The story is very good and continues the lore from the first game.

    Horizon Forbidden West is what happens when you release a really great game next to a monument of a game like Elden Ring. It also happened to games like Ori and the Will of the Wisps (my personal favorite game of 2020) and even Forbidden West’s predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn. While Forbidden West isn’t perfect, it’s definitely one of the best games of the year. The combat is some of theHorizon Forbidden West is what happens when you release a really great game next to a monument of a game like Elden Ring. It also happened to games like Ori and the Will of the Wisps (my personal favorite game of 2020) and even Forbidden West’s predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn. While Forbidden West isn’t perfect, it’s definitely one of the best games of the year. The combat is some of the best I’ve seen in an open world setting, the open world is breathtaking and dense, and the characters are much more emotive and detailed which makes so much easier to connect to. Graphics usually aren’t really all that important to me, but… this game is absolutely amazing to look at. The only problems I have are the story. The first game had this story about humans triumphing over machines. It was pretty grounded in the only way that a story of people fighting robot dinosaurs can. Forbidden West gets really sci-fiy.     This game is absolutely breathtaking, amazing story, great character development, and the world is filled with different things to do. The Melee system in this game is much improved from the first game. Overall traversing through the world is a lot better and animations aren’t as lifeless as the first game. It seems like the developers really brought their A game 10/10.

    Un gioco pressoché perfetto, il livello di immedesimazione è assurdo, non lo provavo dai tempi di skyrim. Senza parlare del livello grafico, bilanciamento armi ecc. Rispetto al primo capitolo hanno migliorato i punti deboli come la scalata un po’ più ardua e le secondarie varie e divertenti.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm about 15 hrs in and I had to take a break. Game despite being visually beautiful start to play on my nerves.

    There is an option to play as an explorer which supposedly limits amount of pointers that are suppose to guide you to your destination. So far so good. Once you get to your destination thou, rather than having a time to explore and figure out location, you are being bombarded with Aloy's (or her companion) comments on what to do and how to do it. I get into ruins, 5 seconds later Aloy will tell you that maybe her focus will reveal more details (that's a good tip in tutorial, but one time is enough), but it's every time everywhere you go. You try to figure out how to get up there? You have 3 seconds, if not Aloy will tell you that you have to shoot the ladder with your bow. The hidden ladder that you haven't even had a chance to discover yet. Her chatter is constant over and over again the same things, My pockets are full but I'll keep this in my stash etc. It feels like Subnautica Below Zero again.
    Wish there was a option to turn off Retard Mode. It seriously feels like Devs came to conclusion that all the gamers suddenly lost 90% of brain power and need guidance like a 5 years old.

    Visually game is a stunning experience, I'm interested in photography and there's just no way to progress fast because photo mode is so amazing.

    I will give it 10/10 if devs fix the spoiler problem.    … Expand

    Very fun and gave me the same feeling the first game did. I love the newer mechanics and characters. Overall great game. Only problem is if you never played the first game it would be really difficult to understand the story of this one.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
