    This game obviously made me very nostalgic and I love how they recreated Hogwarts Castle.
    The story starts of pretty strong but really becomes rather boring after the first 15 hours and there is no real tension.
    The open world is way too big and empty (or rather filled with pointless stuff) and the RPG elements in the game leave a lot to be desired. I enjoyed my time with the game but    This game obviously made me very nostalgic and I love how they recreated Hogwarts Castle.

    Vorne weg: ich bin großer Harry Potter Fan. Und dieser Fakt hat natürlich Einfluss auf meine Bewertung. Und nicht zwingend weil ich alles gut finde, was dieses Franchise betrifft, sondern viel mehr weil ich die Welt und die Vorstellung in dieser zu leben zu unglaublich spannend und anziehend finde. Denn Hogwarts Legacys größte Stärke ist auch gleichzeitig seine größte Schwäche: dieVorne weg: ich bin großer Harry Potter Fan. Und dieser Fakt hat natürlich Einfluss auf meine Bewertung. Und nicht zwingend weil ich alles gut finde, was dieses Franchise betrifft, sondern viel mehr weil ich die Welt und die Vorstellung in dieser zu leben zu unglaublich spannend und anziehend finde. Denn Hogwarts Legacys größte Stärke ist auch gleichzeitig seine größte Schwäche: die Spielwelt.

    Das Schloss Hogwarts ist kurz gesagt einfach nur phänomenal. Ab der ersten Sekunden und den ersten Schritten die man durch das Schloss setzt fühlt man sich heimisch. Alles wirkt bekannt und vertraut und die Erkundung hat bei mir in Summe wohl 20+ Stunden verschlungen. Durch die Filme hat man stets den Eindruck man kennt sich hier aus und war schon öfters vor Ort. Auch Orte wie Hogameade wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail entworfen. Sobald sich das Spiel aber über diese Orte hinaus entwickelt verfliegt dieser Zauber etwas und man taucht in eine doch etwas leere und öde Open-World ein, die stets den Eindruck macht austauschbar zu sein.

    Die Geschichten rund um die Hauptquest sind ganz gut erzählt allerdings ohne die ganz großen Highlights. Die nebenquests allerdings wirken oft sehr einfallslos und sind eher beschäftigungstherapie. Das Kampfsystem macht Spaß, jedoch auch hier ist nach etwa der Hälfte des Spiels der Zauber etwas verflogen und man erwischt sich immer wieder die selben Tastenkombinationen zu drücken.

    In Summe überwiegt aber der Spaß den ich am erkunden hatte und die Zeit, in der mich das Spiel in die Welt von Harry Potter eintauchen lies. Klammert man dies aus, wäre es wohl allerdings ein höchstens durchschnittliches Open-World Spiel gewesen.    … Expand

    Amazing game, amazing story, amazing graphics. It's been a while since a game has captured and pulled me in quite as much as this game was able to do.

    The feeling of exploring Hogwarts Castle for the first time is a feeling comparable to leaving Helgen in Skyrim or trying to find your way to Shujin in Persona 5. It is an overwhelming feeling of excitement and opportunity. The characters, especially the protagonist, Poppy Sweeting and Sebastian Sallow are extremely likeable and this is helped by some world class voice acting. The combatThe feeling of exploring Hogwarts Castle for the first time is a feeling comparable to leaving Helgen in Skyrim or trying to find your way to Shujin in Persona 5. It is an overwhelming feeling of excitement and opportunity. The characters, especially the protagonist, Poppy Sweeting and Sebastian Sallow are extremely likeable and this is helped by some world class voice acting. The combat is easy to learn and incredibly satisfying to master. The first half is definitely superior to the second, but it is a 10/10 game that exceeds it's high expectations.

    This game is boring like hell. Sure, spells are nice, audio awsome, but this open world have almost nothing to offer. Puzzles are pathetic, specialy this from Merlin. Side and main quest are not intresting. I started skipping dialogues very fast. Besides this game is not LOGIC at all. I think it's only for kids from 8 years old to 14 and for Harry Potter ultra fans. My note its 6/10.

    I quit the game after about 30 hours. I wasn't interested in the story. I didn't get attached to the characters because they were all ugly. The action was monotonous and boring. I didn't like the design of the animals and didn't enjoy raising them. The game never froze, but there was always a sense of insecurity in the action, such as getting stuck when there were obstacles.

    This game is a 10/10, little to no flaws, map design and game play is on point. Starts slow but after a few hours your sucked into the world around you as your progress and become more powerful.     Un juego muy sobre valorado e infantil. Si eres fan de Harry Potter imagino que te encantará, porque está lleno de detalles, pero para el resto de los mortales es un juego sencillo, repetitivo y muy aburrido.

    Al cabo de 30 horas jugando y haciendo misiones principales, secundarias, los retos... el juego acaba siendo repetitivo y tedioso.     This game definitely is enjoyable with solid graphics, consistent performaance, and fun combat, but does have some weaknesses. The story is just okay and none of the characters you meet have much depth to them as well. The villain is decent, but nothing really special;. The spell variety is is pretty poor as there is only around 25 spells and a around half of them    Pick it up on sale.

The traversal is quite slow whether it be broom flying, thestral/hippogriff, or graphorn. Replay value is not there either as regardless of house, your experience does not really change. You also don't feel liek a student as i much as I thought you would. Going back to the common room serves zero purpose and you pretty much stop going to class after the first one or two. A one time playthrough is fun if you like Harry Potter, but the game itself is profoundly just okay.    … Expand

    Its not a bad game, but I feel like it needed a bit more work. But I love the art and the concept of this game! I loved Harry Potter since 2015 and still up to this day!

    Incredible atmosphere and soundtrack, perfect use of magic, only thing missing was Quidditch and Dementors to make it perfect.

    The game is pretty enjoyable, especially at the end with all Forbidden Curses. The plot is also okay, still, I liked side quests more (lines of closest friends). A side quest with your shop is one of the best :) But I didn't like the open world at all, those magic trials are really annoying + the activities are boring. It is a good game overall

    A slow starting game but once it gets going it hooks you in. However it has a game braking bug where progress is not saved and I'm unable to finish the game. I just lost 5 hours of progress and lost will to play anymore... Shame.... I'm playing on ps5... Shame... Would have been a 9...

    Es un Buen juego. Tiene un trabajo de arte hermoso. Sistema de combate divertido que al final se hace un poco monótono. Tiene un buen aspecto de personalización de habilidades pero para mi gusto se desbloquea muy tarde en la aventura. En exploración es muy amplio hasta al punto de agobiar un poco. Lamentablemente no permite toma de decisiones como habían prometido. Solo se limita aEs un Buen juego. Tiene un trabajo de arte hermoso. Sistema de combate divertido que al final se hace un poco monótono. Tiene un buen aspecto de personalización de habilidades pero para mi gusto se desbloquea muy tarde en la aventura. El hecho de ser un mago que usa maldiciones imperdonables no afecta en nada al desarrollo del personaje. La música es muy buena. Las misiones secundarias son llamativas sin ser excelentes. Lamentablemente el tema de crafteo y housing es mediocre. Vale la pena Jugarlo? la respuesta es Si, si eres fan del mundo mágico lo disfrutarás mucho.     Good game but still missing, the creators of the game took a whole magical world and failed to use all the potential or add something to it.
    The most positive thing about the game is its gameplay, the battles are very good and fun and there are many types of magic. But the game has many disadvantages:

    The castle is huge but there isn't much to do in it, there isn't much to explore or discover [there are a few secret rooms with puzzle games but it doesn't feel like it adds much] the open world is beautiful but a bit redundant, you don't really know what to do with it except break into people's houses and take their Stuff.
    The story is not well structured, the plot and its flow do not make sense, on the one hand you learn basic magic in class and on the other hand you are the only one who can research the ancient magic and determine the future of the magic world...
    The side missions are not very interesting and repetitive.
    The character development is not deep enough, the game uses RPG elements with leveling up and equipment, but getting the equipment is completely random and does not depend on the size of the mission, even though the game deals a lot with good magic versus dark magic, it has no meaning for the character, you have the option to choose in the dialogues whether to be Good or bad character but it has no effect on the game and the type of magic you can use.
    The option of building the chamber of secrets is unnecessary, the option of the potions and planting the plants are unnecessary, and use the need to wait a real time until they were ready, which is a waste of time.    … Expand

    I was really impressed with this game. The exploration is fun, the combat is really good, and the story fits pretty well into the Harry Potter universe. Wandering around the castle and the surrounding villages is a lot of fun, and the side quests provide a nice bit of insight into the wizard. I only wish that the in game choices you make throughout the game had more effect on the gameI was really impressed with this game.     I really, really wanted to love this game.

    I am a bit of a HP fan and so my investment in the universe is not an issue and I have to say that the first three or four hours of this game are amazing. Hogwarts itself is built with loving detail and has so many secrets that finding them all is a game in itself. Every room, staircase and hall has been designed and textures beautifully and I    I really, really wanted to love this game.

    I found the controls were good, but some targeting issues were annoying. Flying the broom is not exactly intuitive and there were some audio issues and some missions became uncompleteable for some reason (TBF lots of these were solved with updates). The voice acting is sometimes so cringy that I was embarrassed for the devs.

    The main problem is repetition. You do (essentially) the same mission each time. Combat is the same and does not evolve. The enemies become magic 'sponges' later on - but essentially stay the same. You don't really 'attend' school and spend most of your time truanting doing fetch quests. I would have liked to learn my magic in classes, to evolve it or change it. It would have been nice for the school day to dictate the missions. Half the fun of Harry Potter was sneaking out after class and getting up to mischief - that doesn't happen here.

    There is much to like in this game - but I did not feel as if I was in wizarding school and although the school feels alive...it doesn't really.    … Expand

    It was a very fun game with some interesting design choices. I'd still recommend the game for the combat alone. Serviceable story and likable cast.

    Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely a beautiful-looking game that doesn't have a groundbreaking story, but does have a beautiful world, a fun combat system, broomstick flying, and of course an incredible amount of side quests and missions. [Issue#325]

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
