    I'm 16 hours in right now. The atmosphere is fantastic. The combat is fun. The unnamed NPCs are little more than setdressing but the named ones are great. I love how the game parcels out its content and how it teaches you your way around Hogwarts by making you come back once you have unlocked new spells.

    Occasionally the students robes get stuck to the front of NPCs pants and sometimes    I'm 16 hours in right now. The atmosphere is fantastic. The combat is fun. The unnamed NPCs are little more than setdressing but the named ones are great. I love how the game parcels out its content and how it teaches you your way around Hogwarts by making you come back once you have unlocked new spells.

    Occasionally the students robes get stuck to the front of NPCs pants and sometimes you'll have sunlight coming through the castle where there shouldn't be any - otherwise I have experienced very few bugs/graphical glitches.    … Expand

    Absolutely incredible the combat feels amazing and you really get to live in the world jk Rowling wrote to the fullest extent. I've been waiting for a game like this ever since I read the books and so far it has delivered all I want.

    O jogo entrega o que se propõe a fazer para com o seu público alvo. O mundo é vivo, e é possível interagir com inúmeros elementos no mapa.
    O combate é bem intuitivo, e cada magia tem uma função para o combate, sendo possíveis fazer combos.

    Here's an actual honest review since everyone here is either heavily overrating the game or are just trying to "stick-it" to JK Rowling for her view and opinions and taking it out on the publisher.

    Firstly we need to get something out right away... graphically it is sub-par, looks like an upscaled PS4 game on PS5 and I was incredibly disappointed with this, and I tried every graphic    Here's an actual honest review since everyone here is either heavily overrating the game or are just trying to "stick-it" to JK Rowling for her view and opinions and taking it out on the publisher.

    Firstly we need to get something out right away... graphically it is sub-par, looks like an upscaled PS4 game on PS5 and I was incredibly disappointed with this, and I tried every graphic setting possible. Another jarring issue with the graphics is during cutscenes the lighting of the textures will just drastically change between camera angles on most occasions; it's just really overall not great.

    With that being said let's give a positive before getting back into it; the environment is phenomenal, and feels alive and you can tell they put a lot of work and passion into building the world.

    This is where the positives end sadly; the voice acting isn't great, and the character development is subpar as well, where I had no emotional connections to anyone whatsoever, and found the choices I made - who I fought duels with and such - didn't affect anything or grow any relationships.

    The quests are horribly repetitive and boring, it's mostly an egg hunt where you just get materials and then come back and the story is riddled with plot holes and inconsistencies.

    Overall it's a hard 6/10, where it's not the virtue-signalling 0/10 people are bombing it with and it's not the 10/10 that delusional people, ones paid off by WB, and/or the ones just trying to annoy the 0/10 bombers. I wouldn't recommend buying this game, and this is coming from a huge fan of the series, be it the books, the movies, and the universe of Fantastic Beasts.

    Seriously magical game with an eye for detail. It's a game to be played slowly and absorbed with a herculean scale.

    One issue on console is FOV but you get over it quite quickly once you've been around Hogwarts a few times.

    Ruddy solid game.

    This Harry Potter game is so amazing. I love every single second in this. I bought the Deluxe and got sooner 72 hours release date to explore Hogwarts world. Its so huge and I love it. I cried in the night because the game is excellent with me.....

Even if you’ve never read the books or watched the movies and know nothing about the fascinating world of HP do yourself a favor and check it out. This is a very beautiful and addictive RPG.     This is the game I wish I had when I was 10. Probably the most wholesome game for any potter fan. Secrets behind every door amazing gear cool spells fun combat this game is a must buy!

    I wasn't going to buy this game at launch. But then the w-ke lunatics demanded we boycott it because JK believes in biology. So I bought the deluxe edition because I hate stupidity and w-keness. And I'm sure glad I did because it's a fantastic game on all fronts. The music, gameplay and graphics are all top notch.     Amazingly full open world with many things to do, awesome NPCs and optional classes.. I’m not really the biggest Harry Potter fan but I still loved this game like any other! 10/10 (I’m 25 hours in right now)

    Modern masterpiece. Everything you could want in a game set in the Harry Potter world. There are a few nitpicky things that keep me from giving it a 10/10, but those are really just a me thing. Other than those things the game is excellent. Experienced very little to no bugs on the PS5 in Fidelity mode, which is rare for games now a days.

    Incredible. From the visuals, the voices, the combat to the story, the lore and the level of immersion, this game delievers. Still some small graphical bugs to be found here and there, but nothing dramatic. This game is a must for every fan of the Harry Potter franchise.

    The definitive Hogwarts experience for fans and non-fans alike. Just wandering the expansive halls, rooms and secret areas of the castle alone will keep you hooked for hours. It looks amazing, runs great on PS5, and really transports you to the greatest wizarding world ever.

    Amazing game. Combat is 10/10. Graphics are beautiful. Game runs smoothly. Story is interesting. The World and Hogwarts really makes you wamt to explore and discpver new things. All in all, you really feel like you are a part of the wizarding world. Here and there are still some minor bugs, but they are easily overlooked and ignored. 10/10

The exploration frankly rocks, very large areas and the flying is a great way to get around, very fun. and the castle itself is very large and a joy to explore, its fantastic vibes.     first review ever but i had to write this because there was so much doubt before the release day..i believed tho that this game is going to be fire.. and i was right. 20 hours in and i got like zero bad things to say about this game. childhood brought back to life. 10/10 from me. Haters tears have never tasted better.

The game is legitimately very good and I feel so bad for the devs who clearly poured a ton of effort into this. It positively oozes charm with its extremely detailed and lore accurate rendition of the Harry Potter world. It's absolutely huge, has a ton of detail put into it, and truly makes you feel like a student experiencing the place for the first time. The combat isn't the deepest experience I've ever seen by any means but is still very enjoyable. Chaining together attacks in optimal ways always feels very satisfying. The only issues I have with the game is that the map for Hogwarts isn't especially helpful and really in functions as a fast travel mechanism, and that early on your inventory space is very very limited which can be very annoying until you unlock the ability to expand it. If you're a fan of harry Potter, you'll love this game.… Expand

    "Hogwarts Legacy" is a really exciting game that makes you feel like you are in the world of Harry Potter. The quality of the graphics and music are impressive and the gameplay is just great.     Everything a potter fan could have asked for. Wonderful open world filled with the magical elements we hoped/loved, it's a teal pleasure to walk in the rooms and corridors of Hogwarts and watch all the details programmers have put in. GOTY !

    Hogwards legacy is such an amazing game. It’s the dream all Harry Potter fans have been dreaming about. The graphics are stunning even in Performance mode. I would recommend using balance mode with the fps limit deactivate (40-50fps).

    The story’s actually quite interesting and it develops during the whole game. You also progress getting all the spells, monster sack, broom, etc slowly so    Hogwards legacy is such an amazing game. It’s the dream all Harry Potter fans have been dreaming about.     Honestly can't see what all the hype is about. This game is average at best. Graphics for cutscenes are good but actual gameplay graphics are sub par for PS5. Over $100 AUD for 20 - 25 hrs of gameplay? yea, nar...I'll wait for Dead Island 2, Lies of P and Atomic Heart. Clear cut cash grab for deluded fans.

    Dull writing, dead in the face characters, and boring missions. If this would have came out in 2012, maybe it would have been something. If you're a fan of the franchise, then you may enjoy it, but otherwise just another mediocre RPG that hopes it's name recognition will sell.

    The game is great, best Harry Potter game made so far. And I played most of them. The only reason I give it 9 out of 10 is because of the lack of main characters from the story and lack of a proper main antagonist that's memorable. If Voldemort is a 10 and Grindelwald is a 9 then the one in this game is kind of a 3. The only reason I give it 9 out of 10 is because of the lack of main characters from the story and lack of a proper main antagonist that's memorable. If Voldemort is a 10 and Grindelwald is a 9 then the one in this game is kind of a 3. Also I experienced minor frame rate issues but not enough to hinder my overall experience. Haven't encountered any game breaking bugs. Story is so-so but not exceptional and I want to see what the DLC has in store for me.     Exploring Hogwarts is an absolute joy. You can play for hours on end without even leaving the castle. But once you do the world opens up to even more adventures. A true must play for any wizarding world fan!

    Excellent game, visually looks great - combat is fun and effective. Music is also lovely, I sometimes just sit and listen to that lovely little go getter.

    p.s broom flying around to some pirate sea shanties hits the spot.

    The Game Looks and feels Amazing. The physics, graphics, gameplay and especially very very Smooth Movement. I am 18 hours into the game and I am totally loving it. When I use to watch YouTube videos. I wasn't satisfied with the magic wand shots at the enemy. But it really is satisfying.

    While the game definitely is not flawless, it succeeds entirely in its' goal to capture every player off guard and drown them in the magical universe of HP. This is as close as anyone might ever get to attending Hogwarts.     This game is simply fantastic. The graphics are great, the soundtrack is perfect, like usual in the Franchise, and the Open World is simply fun to explore, I often get sidetracked for many, many hours just exploring and doing a plethora of side quests before I do my story.

    Absolutely amazing experience worth every Potterhead's attention. Very nice entrypoint for a potential HP fan aswell, but it does pay homage to alot of things from the books and movies.

Outstanding graphics, amazing characters and voice performances, great story, a magnificent open-world and more surprisingly, the combat system is a highlight! Everything about this game is perfect! The replay value is INSANE! Watch out for record breaking sales. It is THAT good!

    It is one of the greatest games I have ever played. The amount of details in Hogwarts is absolutely mindblowing and the world is fairly big I wish it was bigger but the amount stuff that you can do makes up for that. The combat is unique and feels awesome it's like Arkham knight but with wands. The flying in just something else and you can just lose yourself while doing it. The story isIt is one of the greatest games I have ever played. The amount of details in Hogwarts is absolutely mindblowing and the world is fairly big I wish it was bigger but the amount stuff that you can do makes up for that.     This is what I wanted and so much more from a HP world game. The visuals are quite good, the game runs quite well (considering I am playing the deluxe edition 3 days before the official release - its amazing there are very few bugs overall). The world is so immersive and there is always much to do. I am 15hrs in and looking forward for more

Not a 10, cause of some small problems in physics (npc walking trough you, some weird cloth movements, etc), but really small and most people won't even notice.     I am absolutely loving this game! Can't wait to see if there are add on in the future for stuff like quidditch and such, would recommend to long time lovers of the idea of a Hogwarts and wishes to recieve their own letter.

    Great game. Has fun secrets when exploring the map and memorable NPCs. The story is good and doesn't rely on callbacks or references to other hp properties. Voice acting is well done, especially for the main villain
    It really does make you feel like your a student at Hogwarts

    With that said, people will nitpick the game's "lack of combat diversity" because it's mostly ranged attacks because you are a witch/wizard.
    Additionally, the character customization is fantastic but the voice options really only consist of male/female and the pitch shifting is not necessary because then you sound    Perfection and incredible care taken to realize J.K. Rowling's vision.

    Everything you could want in a game set in the Harry Potter world. There are a few nitpicky things that keep me from giving it a 10/10, but those are really just a me thing. Other than those things the game is excellent. Experienced very little to no bugs on the PS5 in Fidelity mode, which is rare for games now a days.

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
