    Its a really fun RPG with a nice soundtrack, good graphics and beautiful design. I watched the movies long time ago so I just remember a few things but either way it didn’t affect my understanding of the game so far. Game runs pretty great, haven’t noticed any major bugs to my surprise. Very solid early-release launch.

    Game is absolutely amazing, not perfect though but it works amazingly well. It deserves a solid 9 for me, I put 10 to counter ppl who say 0 without playing the game.

    Eu que sou fã tanto do filme quanto do livro, ja joguei os jogos do harry que teve do ps1, falo que esse hogwarts legacy me surpreendeu muito. Foi Jogar de verdade um jogo praticamente do jeito que imaginava quando lia os livros. Gostei do jogo e estou curtindo muito ele ate agora. a cinematografica fico explendida e tem muito mais muita coisa para se explorar

    Otimo jogo, bem optimizado, " joguei na Ps5".
    Uma história interessante, as aula sao bem divertida e no meu ponto de vista, conseguirão fazer de forma a não se tornar seca. Recomendo o jogo para quem é fã de harry potter ou para que gosta de rpg.

    This is so much better than I expected. Best graphics I've seen since Red Dead Redemption 2, and a surprisingly interesting plot. The open world is huge and Hogwarts castle is the biggest labyrinth Ive seen in a game.

    Exceeded my expectations and more, years of waiting was absolutely worth it.
    The game appears to be VERY polished, you can tell the developers made it with love and did'nt take any shortcuts. Runs flawlessly on the ps5 too.

    The game we all wanted when we were young playing on the ps2. Don't let the controversy dissuade your purchase of the game. She didn't develop the game. Best game I've ever played, minimal bugs. Great experience.

    I never would have even known this game existed if it wasn’t for a few loud mouthed fanatics online. It’s the first game I’ve ever pre ordered and only deluxe edition I’ve purchased. This game is phenomenal. The graphics and performance on ps5 is incredible 4k 60 in an open world game like this with infinite detail.     This game is what open-world games should inspire to be. The puzzles are plentiful and enjoyable. The overall aesthetic is fantastic. This game is flawless in its combat system and allows the developers to expand in the future if they desire.

    Now my review. I have 25 hours now not finish yet as i try to get everything 100% the game plays well, magic works great also the rpg light is fine.     Despite a few technical issues, the game is phenomenal. The story is engaging, the world is vast and beautiful, the amount of random little mysteries and collectables isn't overly done and quite fun to run around and explore. I definitely forsee many dlcs to just add life and value into the game even more.     Excellent game. Exploring Hogwarts is a joy, the rest of the world is fun to experience and role play in. I only have passing knowledge for the world of harry potter and I have found myself immediately immersed in this game and world.

    I’m blown away by the graphics, it’s God of War like. Also the combat is quite good, a lot better than I thought it would be.

    Well worth a 10 rating and hope they add expansions.

    This is the best and most content-rich Game i've played in ~20 years of gaming. It has it's performance issues here and there, but pretty sure this will become better.

    I enjoy exploring every single corner in the world. It has so much to offer, i can't stop playing it.     I bought the deluxe edition and thought i will refund as with the last 70$ games i bought and turned out to be garbage. Thats actually the first game where i feel like the 70$ were actually more than worth it.

    This has to get 10/10, otherwise idk what people think how a perfect game should look like.

    Also, when you consider buying the game, don't forget that there are many negative reviews from the toxic corner of the lgbtq+ community. Ignore them & don't think all of them are like them, thats just the regular toxic people which exist in every bubble.

    You gotta have to play that, no lie. If not, you missed the best game you can get, specially compared to the last 5 years.

    Full of bugs. Combat is worse than Dark Souls from 11 years ago. Story is mediocre and that's probably giving it too much credit. Open world isn't nearly as full as say Skyrim or The Witcher 3.

    This is a different game with a different world. It's really great. I fell in love with this game. I give it 10. Other than that, I can't give it. I haven't seen any big problems with it, so far it's great

    This game has blown my mind. The castle is beautiful and full of magic, and the world is easy to want to explore. Expect this game to always have something to surprise you, even though expect to see things you may have already read/seen about.

    Incredible game! FINALY a Hogwarts related open world game worthy in all its glory!
    Have had hours of fun so far exploring the castle grounds and attending Wizarding classes.

    Imo really average game. The story and exploration is ok but other features... Face animations are bad, combat is boring, NPCs are stupid and side quests are terrible. The only thing that saves this game is this "magic Harry Potter" vibe. There's no optimalisation on PC. Although if you're a big Harry Potter franchise fan, you'll probably have fun. I like Harry Potter but I'm not a bigImo really average game. The story and exploration is ok but other features...     First game my girlfriend has ever played with me after trying with so many games! Finally! That being said, only an hour in and we like it. Customization of characters is the only thing I see lacking.

With that they did an amazing job of making you have to parry and dodge. Watch those goblins their attack patterns sometimes are quicker causing you to lose out a parry. The spells are not super flashy which I enjoy cause it does not cause to much stuff happening on screen which if you played Forspoken would fill your screen up so much you lose track of the action. On Graphics:
    I play it on PS5. I have found the Balanced setting to be the best for me and I turn off motion blur and depth of field. This makes it look cleaner with a ton of small details still showing and frame rate barely ever dipping. I am surprised on the user reviews that say it ps3 era graphics cause then I know they haven’t played it and prolly just acting as if they know based on some low quality videos. Also those that rated 3 or less must not like gaming cause this game looks beautiful. On Characters Love the interaction with other students they have a whimsy to them and even the one you don’t interact with will have side conversations that are fun to listen to. Your own character is fun to make look cool or goofy. You can alter your look regardless of loot. Once you loot an item or identify the cosmetic is instantly unlocked to apply to any other item. I currently wearing a suit of armor with a goblin helm. The house you choose only has nuanced bearing on the game so play the house you connect to. Yes I am a HufflePuff. On Story. I have seen many mixed reviews about the story. But half way through I love it simplicity but at the same time intriguing way it is being told. Sadly I will not elaborate as I won’t give spoilers. I have played some small side quest and some that are full fledged fun individual stories. Conclusion
    Though I am not doing an extensive review here. It’s only because I think you all should decide. But for me it’s a tie with GOW Ragnarok for my most enjoyment gaming in the last 2 years and above my other favorite Horizon Forbidden West. If you hate open world style games this might not be your cup of tea. For me it’s 95 percent what I love therefore 10/10 for me. That missing 5 percent are for only the few tech flaws I experienced. Thankfully they were not immersion breaking for more than a couple seconds. P.s. saw one reviewer give it a zero with saying there are loading screen everywhere. If you have not played the game don’t believe the zero point reviewers they have not played the game at all. There is no loading screen and the only loading I have noticed is when going from inside the castle to the outside and it take less than 4 seconds for the door to open.     There are some elements that could definitely use some tweaking, I'd have liked a more classic approach to side quests with more focus on writing and unique objectives. I also feel like "companions" should have been more involved, with more in depth dialogue and relationship building as well as a tag along for less lonely open world exploration (there also should have been more than just the three). I'd have liked more variety in the dialogue options. There are some gameplay elements and limitations that definitely could have been handled better as well but I feel like it's hard to complain when this is the first in what I hope is many more games in a series by a team that has never quite handled a game of this caliber before.

    I do hope this team continues thriving and chooses to continue this series in some kind a way, they deserve to be able to prove themselves in the realm of taking feedback into account and improving upon what they did here. I really do think a sequel has the potential to be even better. Hopefully we get a lot more from these guys before things inevitably change at the studio and drain all the passion from it as we've seen so many times before.

    It's not a perfect game, but if you are one who's imagination has ever been captured by the world of Harry Potter I doubt you'll really care about it's shortcomings all that much. It lives in the perfect middle of being a vast improvement on any of the existing Harry Potter games and being a surprisingly solid entry in the world of AAA RPGs, and I sincerely hope there's a follow up that not only blows this one out of the water but solidifies the series' place among some classic open world RPGs, I will be very sad if I live in the timeline where this doesn't open the path for something like that.    … Expand

Nowadays, with work and family, I barely have time to game anymore, and very few games take my attention, and when they do, I get bored after a few hours of gameplay (maybe due to getting older). But with that said, Hogwarts Legacy got me hooked for a good while, and I’m writing this review right now at aThe game is good simply because it got me hooked, this is how I know a game is good. Nowadays, with work and family, I barely have time to game anymore, and very few games take my attention, and when they do, I get bored after a few hours of gameplay (maybe due to getting older). But with that said, Hogwarts Legacy got me hooked for a good while, and I’m writing this review right now at a friend’s wedding, only thinking when am I going to leave so that I can go back into that magical RPG.     Lived up to the hype, that’s all you need to know. The combat is fun, there are 69 different enemies (don’t believe the review bombers) and the castle is unbelievable to explore. Buy it.

    Game may seem shallow I have been playing Hogwarts Legacy for about 10 hours now and I am pleased to say that it's fantastic! The developers have clearly captured the unique qualities and magical atmospheres of this universe. So far the story has been entertaining and engaging although the voice acting can be a bit monotone and dull. The voice acting of the male character is decent but nothing extraordinary which makes cutscenes a little difficult to get through. The puzzles and challenges are dynamic and easily keep the player wanting to collect more. The developers have truly created a world that makes the player want to explore every nook and cranny. Around every corner the developers have hand placed the decorations and interactions making Hogwarts feel like real and magical location. You'll want to discover everything once you pick up the controller or keyboard. Speaking of the controls I am very satisfied. Combat is clean and the layout just makes sense for a controller. The combat is also engaging and the the ability to experiment with charms is quite awesome. However, to the veteran gamer the combat may get repetitive after long hours of playing. Graphically the game is beautiful and I am playing on balanced mode with an LG CX 4k at 120hzs. When I switched to Fidelity with Ray Tracing, the FPS took a dive. Moving the camera quickly left to right would cause screen tearing and lose fidelity. I found balanced mode to best suited for my play style. There are graphical glitches but they are few and far between. It so nice to see a game come out finished and not filled with bugs. I completely support companies that delay games and deliver products like this. However, I think the developer missed the opportunity to add more. I am disappointed that quidditch is not in the game and the in game story does explain why but it seems like a cover you ass kinda move. Like the developer didn't have time to code it in to the game. Also, miny games are in short supply and games like Wizards Chest would have been a great inclusion. The developer has a great opportunity to DLC the hell out of this game. An expansion pack that adds a whole season of Quidditch with a unique side story. Or a DLC of the tri-wizard tournament. That would be amazing. They have no reason to let this game die, please Avalanche Games. Give me DLC for this game. I will happily pay for it.    … Expand

Combat is in depth and challenging, and pulling off various combos is an exciting. There’s so much to do and get lost in once you get to open world, it’s hard not to get distracted and end up doing side quest after side quest, and losing yourself in theThis game is amazing, whether you’re a fan of the Harry Potter world before or not!     I was very skeptical before the release of this game. They were very upfront about what the game looked like and what it would contain, but still with being burned recently by so many games, I was still weary. I can now say with full confidence that it’s absolutely fantastic! They have crafted a world that feels so alive and so true to the source material.     As for performance, I only played on performance mode (60fps) because I just don't think the game would've flowed as well at 30fps, but at 60fps especially during fights OR on a broomstick it felt good. Mechanics were mostly good overall, however, it did feel like at times dodging was a bit clunky but that was my own negative.

    The story was fine, not going to go into details about it but the story for me felt like a secondary thing compared to exploring. I found it hard to invest in some of the characters and some of the characters were definitely afterthoughts, but it was a good enough story in the end.

    First of all no game is perfect (specially at launch) but for the kind of raw crap that the gaming industry has accustomed us to, this game is in very good shape with very minors bugs. Just simply one of the best games I have ever played, good story, great mechanics, intuitive and beautiful graphics.

    The hype is real! The game is absolutely fun and I seriously can’t put the game down. I might get fired from my job because I’ve called off multiple days in a row just to finish playing the game. Btw.     Lots of complaints about the transphobia thing but you know it’s their loss honestly, they want to complain about a real good game let them, the ones who play the game will understand how great and fun it is. To my honest impression, was a bit scared that Hogwart’s Legacy hype would ruin the experience for me and it’s very rare that a game meets those expectations.     I am putting a preface on this about the trans rights issue so there is no mistake where I stand on it and show it has nothing to do with my feelings of the game.
    I will start by saying I am by no means a Harry Potter fanboy. I was an adult when the books became popular, and read them a few times yes, but I also read a lot of books. I found them enjoyable and creative. I thought it was great that young people were being introduced to the world of reading.
    The movies I thought were ridiculous until probably after the last one was released. I am not incredibly into kids movies, or even franchises like Star Wars, and Marvel. (I got into marvel movies very late and stopped being as judgy about them).
    So I am coming at this from an RPG fan, and a standard amount of post-adulthood Harry Potter book reader.
    I am also a trans rights supporter. I have dated trans women since my early 20s. I am married now, but never had any issue openly dating trans women, and defending them. I also consider myself bisexual. I have trans family members (2 niblings, and a first cousin's child whom I am close to). I find most of what JK said deplorable and ridiculous. I do feel there is room to try to understand trans issues better, and we can question how we react as parents to our child that is saying they are trans. But most of what JK said was unfounded and ridiculous. I wish she did not choose to die on this hill. It mostly shows how willing she is to be stubborn in her ignorance. Sex is real yes. Biological sex is a thing. Gender historically has been primarily based on biological sex, but obviously it has been imperfect since the beginning of documented history. Many cultures have accepted more than 2 genders. It is not the end of the world - and in fact trans people are mostly lovely, reasonable, grounded people. But biological sex is not the only thing JK ranted about. She talked about bathroom r**e which just has nothing to do with trans rights. Among other things. So I understand why people dislike her so greatly now.
    My preface is long and actually much longer but I would not have room for the review so I am cutting it there. But I want to make it clear I am not a bigot, anti-trans, right wing, or an HP "fanboy"

    The game is fantastic though. Graphics issues yes - sound/voice issues yes - again this is pre-release technically so we can expect a day 1 patch, or perhaps a patch within the first month I am sure to correct most issues.
    The combat is amazing. Spells work together better than most RPGs. Flying is amazing. The environments are amazing. The intro was beautiful. The attention to detail will be welcome by book lovers of the series.

    Slight spoiler regarding the first 3 minutes of the game:
    In the beginning the carriage is taking the characters to Hogwarts and of course flying seemingly by itself. The carriage is attacked and one of the characters plumets to the ground and dies. As soon as he dies, you see the thestral horses appear. I know this sounds like "so what?" but it is quite effective and directed brilliantly.

    The tone, and world building is so true to Harry Potter that you could see it as another entry to the films or perhaps a new series of the books. Yes the writing would need some improvements but overall it is quite well done.
    Combat is very fun in it. I am at 16 hours in and it just gets more fun. The way the spells work together is leagues above most RPGs. There aren't as many spells as some games, but that is actually a good thing in some ways. It makes it less cumbersome and avoids the overwhelming feeling some people get when building characters. It is advanced enough to please most advanced gamers, and simple enough for basic players to grasp with practice. It is obvious they worked hard on balancing the combat system.
    The exploration is well rewarded, and always a blast. The flying in it is quite fun.
    Although there is a common gear issue like some games (Ghost Recon-like gear issues) where youre constantly getting new items, but there are also some really good looking gear appearances so you can keep looking the way you want.
    The world is quite massive, and the quests are actually fun and interesting. People are claiming its just "fetch" quests but that is not really true. Sure a few fetch quests, but the environment makes up for that. The potential for DLC, expansion, are endless. The game is amazing and well worth your time. Ignore fanboys, review bombers boycotting the game as well, and play it if you enjoy large scale RPGs with good world building.    … Expand

    This is the game all of the fans of the wizarding world have been waiting for. The castle itself is a tiny open world in a fantastic open world. Its just addicting exploring the landscapes and little villages and learn the variety of spells.

    Very good. The world feels like on the level of RDR2 which is so rare. Similar to the excellent spider men games how the game´s open world plays. The setting feels fresh and throwing spells around is excellent with M&K.

    Performance is great, and hardly and bugs in the first 20h.

    It is a memorable experience.

    Giant round of applause for Avalanche. This is an incredible game, visually stunning, quality voice acting, well told story and suspense. Everything I could have asked for, except for the one we’re all wondering about. Quidditch :)

    As a fan of the Harry Potter series, Hogwarts Legacy is a really good gift for Harry Potter fans. There are times when I get stressed out by puzzles, and the forced conditions for progressing the story are really tricky and annoying, but I enjoy it enough.

    The game is essentially a Ubisoft open world type game with a Harry Potter skin. It's a no way bad, but if it didn't have the Harry Potter theme a lot of the games glaring and tired issues it has with the presentation would be a lot more evident. If you're a huge Harry Potter fan, you can add a few points to this score.

    The game is absolutely fantastic. The graphics are amazing, the castle, the forests, etc. It's story is incredibly immersig, and the amount of things to do there is extraordinary. Thanks to Avalanche Software, which gave Harry Potter fans the chance to live this dream.

    Un peu brouillon quand vous sortez de God of War, mais GOW est parfait, HL est incroyable mais pas parfait.
    j'enlève 2 points pour:

    - mauvaise optimisation (sur PS5 en mode performance c'est OK)
    - pas de combat à l'épée
    - les dialogues manque de naturel par moment
    - pas de Karma (comme dans Fable)

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
