    The AI is terrible, and tire grip and driving dynamics are pure crap. Money from races is waste of time, and being unable to sell cars makes no sense....

    I'll take any PS2/3 Gran Turismo over this "game"

    The way this game has handled MTX and the fact that the game can't be played offline makes this a definite no buy. Incredibly disappointing as the game seems good but Kaz and Sony are pulling out some of the most predatory behaviour by hiding MTX store when review embargoes were happening then start changing prices after the game launches.     The game is giving me very low payout credits, does not respect the amount of time I spend playing it. It was not a satisfying experience after all the money I spent buying the DD pro wheel. This game I pre-ordered was not worth paying premium price for.

    It is a god Game, not a great Game, but a good Game. but the DRM just kills it. This Game require a DRM also for the single player Mode, that you need to be online AND the Servers need to be there. This means, this game will be waste in 2 years, after Sony will shutdown the Servers, even if you have a physical copy. We had a sneak peak the last two days, because after an update, theIt is a god Game, not a great Game, but a good Game. but the DRM just kills it. This Game require a DRM also for the single player Mode, that you need to be online AND the Servers need to be there. This means, this game will be waste in 2 years, after Sony will shutdown the Servers, even if you have a physical copy.     The world map is a dumb Idea. They should've added an option for cup view like in previous titles.

    Don't get me started on the microtransactions. PD reduced the payouts for races and forces you to grind more. Adding salt to the wound, there's a credit limit of 20 Mil for earned credits but no limit for purchased credits. You can't even sell dupicate cars! There's also a dumb lootbox system but it's really scuffed compared to sport. High end parts are locked behind the lootbox system and can't be purchased in tuneshops unlike in previous titles. I'd be fine with the roulette system if it was like in gt sport where you can ACTUALLY get cars unlike gt7 where they give you 5000 credits 90% of the time.

    And then there's the always online DRM. I was locked out of the game for over 30 HOURS. I was not even able to use my own cars in the arcade races! Overall, this GT was a massive dissapointment with the reduction of quality motivated by greed. I'll just set up my ps2 and go back to playing GT3.    … Expand

    A ridiculous Pay to win... As simple as that.
    The only good or strong phase of this game is the amount of content that offers, but, the only way to get all of that is paying for it or breathing to play, that's it.
    The gameplay is mediocre, it doesn't innovate. And you need to be online everytime you want to play.
    I just throwed 70$ to garbage.

    Si vous achetez une voiture et qu'on vous dit qu'aujourd'hui elle ne marchera pas vous ne pourrez pas l'utiliser, et que si elle n'est pas connectée à internet c'est mort également, vous feriez quoi ? Dans le JV aujourd'hui on tolère tout et n'importe quoi, ils nous prennent pour des pigeons !! Honte à Sony. Je peux vous dire que votre PS5 que j'essayais d'acheter c'est fini, je n'acheterai plus Sony.

    Sur le jeu en lui meme maintenant on se tape des menus inutiles qui nous empechent de profiter du jeu comme on le souhaite c'est franchement nul.
    Les voitures d'occasion ca n'a rien a voir avec les anciens GT ou il y en avait pas mal, la c'est 15 bagnoles qui se battent en duel.
    Le nombre total est également ridicule d'autant plus que les concessions sont vides et que la moitié des bagnoles sont à gagner.
    Les musiques sont 50% nazes, ou sont les musiques de GT1 trop stylées ?
    Les tickets que l'on gagne sont également une masquarade on tombe toujours sur les trucs pourris.

    En plus avec la maj on gagne moins d'argent pour que Sony s'engraisse avec leur pay to win, une honte.

The payouts in this game are an absolute joke and the constant microtransactions popping up in your face is a really punch in the gut for those of us who think a $70 should not have microtransactions (this isn't a free to play game).

    Besides those 2 points, there are smaller nuances here and there but nothing else is more major than points 1 & 2. All in all I am very unhappy with the direction that Sony is going. The fact that they allowed this in their game is appalling    … Expand

    Bought this on march 16 and was unable to play for 2 days because servers were down.
    Mediocre racing game and every race you just start in last place and slow cars are in front of you and you drive 2 laps. Very boring.
    Mtx are horrible and youll be driving cheap compact cars for a long time.

    Also sony literally hung up on me for asking for a refund. Dont buy this game.
    Loved gt2 and 3.

    I've played this game from day 1. Grand Turismo on the original PS. I've brought every game and console since. I was super excited to play this when it came out. Man I've never been so disappointed. Cannot sell cars, there are no easy ways to farm credits unless you pay real money. DAMN YOU SONY. Funny thing is if they done this in a tasteful way, it would be acceptable. Like Fortnite,I've played this game from day 1. Grand Turismo on the original PS.     I had never played any game in the Gran Turismo series before. Visually the game is wonderful, very beautiful. But Polyphony's policy forcing us to have a constant internet connection and the way they force us gamers to buy cars is just ridiculous. Servers spend most of their time offline this hinders player progress and takes 95% of the fun out of the game and makes it absolutely useless.

    The campaign is limited and just revolves around trying to take your money. For example it costs more money to upgrade your tires than what you can earn in a single race. The latest update just made it even harder to make money, almost as if they waited for the good reviews before implementing.

    Greed greed greed. I will never be able to afford some of my favorite cars in this game. I can’t afford $50+ on credits and definitely can’t afford to play 5+ hours a day to make a few credits here and there! If I could I would return it but I’m stuck with it. Do not buy! Do not buy!!!!

    The only big change GT7 created different than previous Gran Turismo titles is the microtransactions. You can either grind hours a day for a week to afford a single competitive car or you can pull out your credit card and pay for it. A car that cost $3 in a previous GT entry now cost $40 real world money. This is after being charged a hefty amount just to download the game. This sucks.

    When will the greed and micro transactions end? pathetic amount of single player content, and then when they realized people were making too much money from the races and not spending enough on micro transactions, they pushed an update lowering the prize amount for many races.

    Absolute pathetic bait and switch. PD should be ashamed of themselves.

    Sony has given up their reputation just want to rob money of players, Just like the Horizon Forbidden West, cheating players ten dollars unscrupulously.

    Loved this game when it came out. Great graphics and the car simulation dynamics are awesome! However after the recent update making everything extremely expensive is a huge slap in the face to someone who's pre-ordered the game. Do not buy it now.

    Grand Turismo is a fantastic game the gameplay is sublime and a lot of fun! Sadly Polyphony Digital has gone down the route of greed with abusive game ruining microtransactions and DRM!

    Today is a sad day for Gran Turismo fans everywhere!

    Avoid!! I really can not recommend the game after patch 1.07. The creditsystem in patch 1.06 and previous was correctly balanced. But Polyphony got way too greedy with their latest push for microtransactions ! Also, the servers went down for 32 hours! That means you can’t play the game basicly.
    So my confidence in the Polyphony is gone as well. It takes days/weeks just to acquire just 1    Avoid!! I really can not recommend the game after patch 1.07. The creditsystem in patch 1.06 and previous was correctly balanced. But Polyphony got way too greedy with their latest push for microtransactions ! Also, the servers went down for 32 hours! That means you can’t play the game basicly.

    Don’t get me wrong I like to work/grind a bit for a sweet reward, but this is absolutely ridiculous! And even if you would pay those monster prices of microtransactions where is the fun in that? There is no meaning at all as to why you should play the game.
    The games on PS5 are already more expensive, So I returned the game and got my refund. It’s not worth my hard earned cash after patch 1.07. It’s really sad to see. The game was really great before, except for the tyrebug with the dirt tracks. the dirt races physics are not that great in general, but on tarmac, it was amazing, but like I said, It WAS. Avoid until a much more favorable creditsystem is installed!!
    Don’t believe those official reviewers whom get paid to play the game. Of course they will rate the game a 10/10. But a game is much more then amazing graphics alone. Believe the people!    … Expand

    Before update 1.08 it was hard enough to even buy a car. But now it feels impossible to even buy the legends or a Honda. The menu books are cool till you finish them and after the game feels empty like it’s half finished or just rushed out without the rest of the courses and books. And most if not 80% of the cats in game are useless in single player races.

    I could not be more disappointed with this entry into the series. Have been playing since GT2. This is borderline EA levels of greed and incompetence. Twice now I've gone to play single player and haven't been able too; I don't have time for this. This rolling start, start at back style racing has killed the game for me.     Presentation and career overall are the only positive aspects. The physics and FFB are laughable and also no way to configure/alter settings. Visual FOV - again - can not be adapted.
    And then there is the micro transaction issue that tears this title apart.

    "5,000 Credits" at all level of award tickets are unforgivable, making cars so expensive and hard to earn credits, really WON'T help people to like cars, and player.
    This is not a EA or Activision game OK ??
    "Single Player" mode should be able to play OFF LINE, really, player are not thief or cheater.
    And reduce some race award are also unforgivable.

The community finds a decent way to earn credits? They nerfed the payouts for a good bunch of races. Not to mention certain cars, some of which cost more than 10,000,000 credits, require invitations to buyNever have I ever had a GT game shove microtransactions so hard at my face. They nerfed the payouts for a good bunch of races. Players either have to grind races with crap payouts or fork over real-life money to buy in-game credits before the cars disappear for god-knows-how-long. The McLaren F1 in particular went from costing 1,000,000 credits in previous titles to 18,500,000 credits, which is nothing short of outrageous.

    In short, corporate greed and microtransactions have singlehandedly ruined a video game with frankly stunning graphics and gameplay, and have tarnished the legacy of Gran Turismo. Do NOT buy this game until Polyphony Digital decides to get their crap together.    … Expand

    I have returned this game. Absolutely disgraceful to charge £70 and then expect fans to pay double or even triple that just to compete. (Or spend 5 days grinding for the same car).

    I will never buy another Gran Turismo game. For shame Playstation.

    Cash grab grind fest, if you want to race your favourite cars you'll need to take out a small bank loan first, had the potential to be the best racing game of all time before Polyphony Digital got greedy, no effort made to correct this after being called out on it, will never buy another PD game again.

Its ok we will make good will up by making it a full time grind to buy one car unless you pump loads of extra money in to it. Fantastic gg's **** this game.

Game has lots of issues. multiplayer is effectively broken. You have to close a room session to change tracks ffs? single player can be completed in two days tops. earning cars is now harder as two weeks after the release of the game they decided to massively reduce race payouts (one being 32k down to 12k). This while adding an 18.5 million credit car beating out the previous 12 million highest value in game. The game, despite being a AAA title is run like a pay to play game. after taking a large chunk of money to buy it, it now wants microtransactions at the fore front.2 million credits costs £16 with 100k costing 2. Effectively they have created a 2 tier system. But man, have they screwed us. reducing payouts and increasing cars prices over fixing the actual game problems. No, this is a bad GT game. People will forget over time. Many new owners wont know any of this happened. But those that do, and incidentally were unable to play for THIRTY hours while polyphony carried out the changes, we will never forget.… Expand

    Full priced game that charges you 185 bucks to have a top car, or you have to grind the same race roughly 165 times against easy AI on a oval track to get the best payout available (while they dont nerft it like they did before already)

I bought this game only because of love for cars and racing and developers have made it ridiculously difficult to get some of them.     Si es un juego triple aaa y exclusivo, no consigo comprender por qué tirar de las microtransacciones.
    Tengo la ps5 y las series x/s y siendo honesto termine forza Horizon 5 y le invertí más 72 horas y no me aburrió y los gráficos no me dejaron con mal sabor de boca, además no pague ni un pedo adicional por jugar el forza en estreno y sin embargo con gran turismo 7 me bastaron 20 horas para aburrirme de los circuitos cortos y el abuso de las microtransacciones.
    Lo acabo de vender siento que no vale la pena ocupar mi poco tiempo libre en un juego que no está echo con cariño para los gamers.     … Expand

    Impossible to earn credits and you have to upgrade parts in most vehicles to make any race viable otherwise yours took castings no chance making it to 1st in 3 short laps when you start in last position every campaign race. And they announced they're making it harder to earn credits and raising the price of the vehicles even more than its predecessor Gosport.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
