    career is ok but short...
    after the career, you have to grind hard to get any cars and in terms of grinding, there's not a lot of places to go race on...
    I'm not going to play this game any longer...

    My first review here... I have bought aniversary edition for approx 120€... SONY, you piece of trash ! are you serious about forcing me to spend extra money to be able to buy some new cars ? I am casual player and I dont have 5 hours per day to grind... I am returning this to store (luckily, I did not have time to unpack my game yet...) 120€ for "pay to play experience" you hit new bottom...

    I really love this franchise, and this game should be the best gran Turismo ever, but... The online requirement for a single player mode game is an absurd, and the grind to get the cars and tracks, "forcing" the player to buy credits with real money, come on Sony/Poliphony, what did you do with this game, that's a shame, completely painfully.

    No thanks, we are in 2022. Sony has always detested and condemned the Microsoft of the first Xbox One, precisely for these reasons. Seeing her riding this wave again today with Gran Turismo 7 is shameful.

    I purchased a PS5 for this game alone and was really let down by it. I feel it would take me weeks or months to even earn one if the top cars. Also felt very dated for a PS5 game.

    I kinda feel disgusted for even buying this game now, the fact that they not only have an always online EVEN if you are playing single-player but also that they made it take even longer to earn credits to buy cars which would further put pressure on how long a player can resist just buying it with real money. They actually added an update to make it take longer to earn credits.     Beware, this is not the game you grew up with. I was excited to play this when I saw all the reviews. However it is a constant grind and the races hardly pay anything at all. The always online is a definite problem as seen by the servers being down and not being able to play a $60 game. Microtransactions ruined this title.     I have played every Gran Turismo title since Playstation 1 and have enjoyed almost every single entry until GT7. I was honestly really enjoying the game while overlooking some glaring issues, which are now made even worse with ridiculous micro-transactions, and now unplayable because of maintenance and being always online. If this isn't fixed, I'm trading in this game immediately andI have played every Gran Turismo title since Playstation 1 and have enjoyed almost every single entry until GT7.     This was my first GT game since the original as a kid and after being spoiled with all other series this was just disappointing for a full price game.     Pulling a fast one, to make more money, like xbox did with FM7, lets hope they reverse it too like xbox did. And they clearly held back tons of cars to make them appoear as DLC for more money, They are missing Years worth of recent models of cars, It is just sad.

    GT6 was a favorite of mine but GT7 is really bad. I don't understand how they could take a really good game and make it so much worse. Obviously the micro-transactions are a big part of the issue, but definitely not all of it. I would recommend staying away from this title for awhile.

    Driving is ok, or it would be if you could play the game when you want to, wich you can't since even the solo is behind an online DRM and not available when server are down. Also the game, sold full price, has free to play mechanics asking you to grind indefinitely to buy just about any car... DISAPOINTING, a huge step back for playstation exclusives

In fact, there shouldn't be ANY microtransactions for cars themselves (or credits needed to buy them). The test track in GT7 is locked behind at LEAST 15 hours of gameplay, which is hilariously bad. Not being able to sell cars is the most mind bogglingly dumb decision this franchise has ever made.     De base el juego podría tener su público, ya que aporta cosas interesantes para los fetichistas de los coches. Más allá de ello se siente un juego desfasado para los tiempos que estamos y lo que se puede esperar de la saga. La gota que colma el vaso es la conexión permanente y los macropagos incluidos en el juego que lo convierten en un pay to win.

    My favourite Driving game franchise is totally ruined. I waited this game since GT6 (2013). This is just microtransaction filled grindfest. Other than that it is polished copy of GT sport.     This is one of the best examples of what is wrong with the game industry. Microtransactions in a game that costs a third of the minimum wage in my country, and still you have to spend money in game if you don't want to waste your life grinding in the game. Playstation is dying.

    +Good visuals, -Junks of nonsensical features (carwash?), -Multiplayer (cars with varied range of power).
    On multiplayer I got penalized for been hit by other cars! Multiple times, to be a coincidence.
    No real improvement to GT6, except graphics...

There is no way to play off the disc with the console off-line to earn credits properly as the game locks you out of content unless you are online and up to date to its latest patch. Absolutely unacceptable. I returned my disc for a refund and I am hoping there might be an attorney out there who loves GT and decides to do a class action lawsuit for the dishonest, shady and anti consumer garbage Polyphony and Sony have pulled with this game so they’ll have to rethink continuing with this garbage and going down this path with other games going forward.    … Expand

    - Physical Copy/Game on Disk is not playable after installation without patches (Useless Copy)
    - OnlineDRM all the time, for all Parts of the game! = SinglePlayer isn't really playable offline.
    - More than 30hours of GT Online Server downtime, short after release (because of a broken patch) ment a complete dead game, no SinglePlayer/Offline gaming ability.
    - Sh..t load of Microtransactions in a Full-Price Title!
    - Game was patched after Release with huge negative changes around Campaign Actions, and Race Events with increased car costs and deacreased Winning Race money to push Microtransactions even more in the focus!

    Many of these things are usually strategic company descisions and not developers faults, so I don't wanna blame everyone about this. I also agree with many comments here. This Game now, with all the relevant and negative changes to the game for Players, feels like (and should be) a free2play title. Instead they wan't to steal your money twice, out of your pocket! Really... SHAME ON YOU!

    Conclusion (for the moment):
    Don't support this! Share your thoughts! Open your month and fight against these kinds of methods or it might become the new/next definition of "Standard" for upcoming Gaming Releases.    … Expand

    Graphics settings are superior mostly on REPLAYS...do You get it? Replays...Ray Tracing so hyped up in presentation is only on replays...

    Realized I can't play the game offline. WTF, always been able to play Gran Turismo offline. Also selling credits?!? I mean come on if I wanted to pay premium price $80 for a game, and only realize by the way you need to pay more for other cars because it's not feasible to get them by just PLAYING THE GAME....

And of course.. no refunds. I'veI'm appalled.     Otro aspecto muy reprochable es el tema de los micro pagos, con prácticas totalmente arbitrarias contra el consumidor, incluso sacaron una actualización dificultando aún más el poder obtener crédito para el juego, obligando en alguna manera a pasar por caja. Un completo desastre. Si estos supuestamente dicen los Sonyers que es calidad? Encima llegan a tal punto de fanatismo que osan defender esta porquería!    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.
