    I can’t play the game, I paid $100 for this game (to have an extra 1.5m credits) and in order to play any further and continue my car collection (which is a highlighted and required feature to progress in the game) I have to spend HUNDREDS, literally HUNDREDS of dollars to finish. You are either required to spend hundreds of dollars, if not thousands honestly, on credits throughI can’t play the game, I paid $100 for this game (to have an extra 1.5m credits) and in order to play any further and continue my car collection (which is a highlighted and required feature to progress in the game) I have to spend HUNDREDS, literally HUNDREDS of dollars to finish. You are either required to spend hundreds of dollars, if not thousands honestly, on credits through microtransactions then you are required to spend 60+ hours of pure grinding to buy only a couple of the most expensive cars in the game. And that’s 60+ hours if you’re good at the game and successful with your grind. No one can do that. That’s not even getting into the online only single player, rigged roulette tickets and broken physics model. Until they correct the credit system I literally cannot afford to proceed in the progression of this game.… Expand

    the "always online" feature broke the game, unfortunatelly... not to mention the reduced amount of credits per race changed AFTER the game launch... shame on you, Polyphony

    Gran Turismo 7 has the potential to be *incredible* but, sadly, the push for microtransaction revenue has basically ruined it. Always online and the servers aren't even reliable. Lack of career and progression content. This is a cyberpunk-level bad launch.

    There is a great game in here. The driving model has moved on leaps and bounds. But it’s in danger of being destroyed by greed. I will never buy a single credit in this game.

    Polyphony - shame on you! Not for the game - it's really great....
    ...not for the server and update problems - problems happen.
    Shame on you for the online connection to play offline races.... Shame!

    30+ hour server outage, little-to-no communication in the meantime, all to, as we understand, make the economy even more punishing than it already was. Add on top of that the very poor multiplayer experience and you've got yourself a wholly disappointing game.

    The game is fun, the grind is not. This is an 80 eur game, in which you lack content after finishing the cafe races, content locked behind daily "roulette spins", cars that cost literally over a hundred hours of racing (that is pre-update, by the way).
    The only updates so far have been aimed at making it more grindy and mtx-y, not to add content or make it more enjoyable. Sad to see    The game is fun, the grind is not.     It is not important to say something. I've never heard about a game that being maintained for more that 30 hours. And i own this shty game.

    The score represents the amount of content playable right now.

    Though I have no interest in the online component of the game and only play single-player games, all of the single-player features are locked behind a required online collection.

    With the servers being down for over 24 hours, the game is essentially unplayable right now.

    Felt like half a game without endurance, gr1 races etc. I was disappointed but still had fun, now they nerf the payouts from races to force people to their micro transactions… buy on sale / wait for the game to be complete.

    From the legendary originator of the driving simulator genre, to a MTX-infested, always online, outage-prone grind-a-thon.

    A true fall from grace. Polyphony Digital ought to be ashamed of themselves. The genre-leading mechanics only serve to make the predatory aspects of this game sting all the more.

    The decisions to force players into micro transactions in order to collect incredibly already expensive cars is absolutely ridiculous. I’m ok with forcing players to grind but requiring them to spend 100’s of hours to purchase some of the games cars is criminal.

    Career mode is done after a few hours and little to do after.     The grind to obtain cars is freaking insane. Users keep complaining about this, and they keep patching it to make the credits less. Classic example of monetization driving game design, and not listening to feedback from your customers. Hopefully they can change their ways before it's too late.

    Game is always online for single player only because of their BS microtransaction system they shoehorned into the game. Nerf in-game rewards to encourage MTX transactions and fill the game with many ways to tempt you into spending cash.

    80 dollar game btw.

    I am absolutely disappointed with this game - already requested the refund.
    I don't know where to even start!
    - Tiny payouts from the races - absolutely ridiculous! - The annoying roulette tickets for daily practice and other progression - for vast majority of time you get a laughable few thousand credits. You can forget about a nice car - not gonna happen. - "Limited cars" worth    I am absolutely disappointed with this game - already requested the refund.
    I don't know where to even start!

    - "Limited cars" worth millions which will make some people FOMO for sure and purchase some in-game credits.
    - Need to be online to play the game! Guess what - their servers got messed up and you can't even play it in single player mode.

    KAZ, thank you for making it clear in your statement... Just be rich in real life and you can fully enjoy this game, or if you are the everyman, play for 5 years everyday for 4 hours to somewhat enjoy the game and all it has to offer.

    Enjoyed the first hours of gameplay but after completing the main “story” of the game it becomes lifeless and a soulless grind that is made exponentially worse by the developer continuing to push microtransactions. Disappointed is an understatement when talking about this historically brilliant franchise. Avoid this game at least until they put more care for the consumer into it.

    A great racing game ruined but greedy companies yet again. Always online with it being down for more than a day, £96 for classics cars, and boring and lazy race setups with no qualifying. Don't waste your money unless Sony and PD fix their mistakes.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
