    My first proper GT. Graphics are excellent, and gameplay is great. Clearly a lot of love has gone into the game. Yet **** business practices override the above, and end up making this a farce. Reducing the payout per race is a joke, but no compensation following the outage, and making this online only is the final straw.     Game looks incredible but the gameplay aspect is terrible. Its a shameless cash grab that would take years to complete without paying for credits and thats not what GT is about. Also, the game is largely unplayable at the current time for maintenance that was meant to take 2 hours tops. spoiler alert, its taken over 24 hours now. The fact that its an online game makes it completelyGame looks incredible but the gameplay aspect is terrible.     Honestly I wish I could get a refund. The new update completely ruined the game. It’s super hard to get credits, unavailable for 24+ hours at a time, and generally unplayable cuz you won’t gain any credits to buy cars smh so sad this game really lost its appeal it’s a trap buyer beware

    Added microtransactions after the reviews. Made the credit rewards for races worse in a recent patch. It takes dozens of hours of grinding races to buy any cars. $70 game that is designed to make you want to spend even more money to play it. Sony won't refund the game once you download it and now it is too late for me. Don't buy this game.

    Rigged roulete tickets, Faulty penalty system and expensive cars with the objective to spend real money buying them. A real shame for a well polished game.

    This game is a scam. They kept microtransactions out of the game during the review phase. After that, everyone found out that cars cost four times as much as they did it GT Sport. I wouldn't pay $5 and now they want $20 per car?! They also decreased in game winnings by about 50% very shortly after launch, so it's going to take forever to progress in the game. So basically, it turns the PS5 into an overpriced PS4 emulator loaded with microtransactions!     This is a great looking game. It has the potential to be a great racing title with future DLC, BUT the developers have decided to total destroy this game with abysmal race payouts! and forcing players to use greed driven microtransactions! This will be the demise of this title. I really had high expectations and really looked forward to the release of GT7, but we have all been let down.

    Unfinished money trap with no offline functionality and almost forces you to do micro transactions. Also it gets VERY BORING after the cafe races.

    The game was really good at release. After the latest patch, Polyphony Digital have shown they don't care about the gamers and are all about microtransactions.
    Do not buy this game, do not buy in game credits and do not buy future dlc for the game. I certainly won't be, unless they reverse their policy.

    The game feels identical to GT Sport from a driving perspective, which IMO is good. I don't notice a graphical difference as we're getting to the point where it can only look so real. The UI is incredibly clunky, often requiring several button presses when one would be sufficient. It's designed for a mouse and keyboard not a controller. The biggest issue is that I paid $150 dollars forThe game feels identical to GT Sport from a driving perspective, which IMO is good. You will not make enough money from races to be able to afford any of the legendary cars, as they want you to buy credits with real money. They increased the costs of many in game cars, as they want you to buy credits with real money. All of these changes were made AFTER the "critic" reviews. That's deceptive and honestly I expected better from Polyphony. This WAS a flagship franchise that greed has severely tainted.… Expand

There is no difference between the photo mode and GTS, basically copy and paste. But after nearly ten hours of playing, I felt more disgusting and couldn't make ends meet. The prize money is much lower than the GTS, and the prize money for completing two or three races is not enough to modify a car. And expensive car maintenance. Not to mention that a large number of cars have significantly increased their prices compared to their predecessors. The price of microtransactions is five times higher than that of the previous game. If you want to buy the car you like in the brand center, it is still a long way off. I've been playing for so long that I can only drive some slow cars that I don't like. And the lottery system is also very ridiculous. I can only draw the worst reward a dozen times in the lottery, which makes me very much doubt that my luck is really so bad? The whole game is simply a poverty simulator. For the GT series, each player has their own favorite way to play. I'm a casual gamer who likes to collect cars and occasionally challenge driving schools and missions.     Love the series but this one is currently hot garbage. I got the game shortly after launch and found several of the license tests had bugs making gold impossible. That got fixed when they made the game unplayable for a day and a half. The next day I found out all the custom tunes I spent hours perfecting. At least it wont require an internet connection or fill you with half the disappointment this game did. So much potential pissed away in the sake of greediness.     Its a shame we are now living in a time where development teams are full of these greedy f**kers that want to squeeze every bit of money out of gamers, when charging between £50-£90 for a game isn't enough for them they feel the need to add micro transactions

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Disappointed. The physics and weather looks great. But playability is hurt by the hardness of getting credits to clear objectives. Online saves also make impossible for restarting from scratch with Cr 1,000,000 from the anniversary version - lame. Micro transactions are micro scams. Avoid them! In retrospect, GTS is a better game as a whole - it only lacks the updated physics, weather and so. Maybe it is not PD's intention to milk users by making progress ridiculously slow, but every one knows how the saying goes. No Bopped races so far, too boot. Lame, lame, lame.… Expand

    Cela pourrait être un jeu très bon mais ces micro transactions sur un jeu full price et ces baisse de récompenses ont un effet de pourrissement pécuniaire sur une licence prestigieuse. Et malgré la lettre d excuses suite au 1er patch expliquant tout ça, elle est quand même teintée de malhonnêteté au vu des prix des micro transactions.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
