    I'm a dad and I'm not trying to spend my hard earned real money to buy additional virtual vehicles. Nor do I have time to grind hours of races daily. I get with the car scene it's pay to play but I'm already a car enthusiast and pay to play in real life.

    Great listening to the comunity, a great love letter to cars and car culture and a lovely detail on everything refering to new players and players who have been playing the saga since it's beginning. Expecting the new and semanal content updates.

    I really do not feel like I want to play it after the grinding. This game is based on frustration and torture the gamer. The poor AI will crash you, ruining a one hour race, lack of leagues, lack o championships, lack of races, lack of rewards.     With that out the way, this is the most detailed, hand-crafted fun I've ever had with a game. The fact that I can feel the difference between an R32 and an R33 GTR and can the difference of just some new brake pads is evidence of the effort that went into the game.     GT 7 is weird, challenging, eccentric and unnecessary at times but that in NO way steals from it's experience. It's the ultimate car ownership game. And if Credits bother you just get good and do all circuit experiences to Gold level. Then you'll be good enough to compete online and have enough credits to buy whatever cars you want. 10/10.    … Expand

    I tried to like it, but there's just so much wrong with this game. You need to be online to play single-player (so with the maintenance update debacle today, I couldn't play the game at all). Practically all of the single-player races are rolling start, with the lead car sometimes given a 45-second lead. The roulette mechanic is lame. Earning credits was already too slow, and with the 1.07 patch, is now about twice as slow as 1.06. Microtransactions in a game I just spent $90 CAD. Bugs with licence tests. Dumb AI. A generally unintuitive UI that requires too many button presses. A tuning shop that isn't organized by part type. The single-player "menu book" experience is too short.     Of course, how many bad things are written about the game here, horror! I've been playing for 50-70 hours and I like everything, of course there are a couple of quibbles about buying paint for a car and for work games without the Internet, but it's not worth it that the rating of this game was 2.0

    After the patches ,it's been the best GT game ever. I was and will be a GT4 fan but this game is just pure gold. Credit fixed should put it back to 10/10

    This game is proof that you can never take the user review score serious. I understand the frustration but 1s and 0s? Grow up. The credit earn rate was fixed anyway so it’s not even an issue anymore lmao. It’s a fun racer and a return to form for gt. Don’t let the children reviewing on here discourage you from trying it out.

    Beautiful graphics and car customization are the only things this game does well. I've encountered serious physics glitches and had significantly more fun playing previous Grand Turismo releases, so I was seriously disappointed when I quickly discovered bugs. Not to mention, a $70 price tag? What a joke. The games economy is a trainwreck.     Single player GT functions are back.
    Cons.
    Single player functions are dependent upon connection to operational GT7 servers.

    The game economy is brutal, pushing HUGE micro transactions. To be fair, they’re working on this.

    The roulettes are rigged.

    The silly interruptions from the faces are annoying. Unskippable cut scenes. Force you to watch replays after a race. Poor force feedback for racing wheels and loads of other annoyances that ruin the potential fun this game has.

    Contrary to popular belief, this game does not require payment to win. I am impressed with the excellent driving quality and the quality of the vehicle. Buying a vehicle just got easier with a recent update

    This game has so much potential. I am glad PD has listened to the community about payouts, however they have been completely silent on the always online aspect. It should never be a requirement to be online in a single player game. Twice after the 30 hour shutdown, I have been unable to play due to maintenance.

    I was also able to complete the café missions within 5 play sessions, and now the only thing to do is to spend hours replaying sectors of tracks in Circuit Experience. This is hardly a campaign.
    Why has true racing vanished too? Every race is a catch-up mission with the first place car starting half way around the track. I would like to win on merit, not by being able to catch them.    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 is a fantastic game, but what Sony and Polyphony Digital with monetisation and reducing race payouts is just greedy. It puts them almost equal with EA, Take Two and Ubisoft in being greedy publishers, that only care for money and not gamers.

    We all know that reducing race payouts and increasing car costs is a way to make us spend real money on buying credits. Before the 1.07 patch, I was thinking that buying credits was not a bad option, if I didn’t have enough at the time, now that Sony and Polyphony Digital are trying to force us to buy credits by reducing payouts, I will never
    spend any money on credits.

    Also, why do we need online connection to servers to play solo? This make no sense and just makes it impossible to play when the servers are down.

    I’ve played Gran Turismo since it first came out in 1997, 25 years ago, for the first week of Gran Turismo 7, I was feeling very nostalgic, seeing the old track in there upgraded form. Now after patch 1.07 I’m feeling frustrated and disappointed, the reduced payouts make the game too much of a grid to earn enough to buy and upgrade the top cars.
    We know Sony and Polyphony Digital did this because not enough people were spending money on buying credits, and we were playing the high payout races repeatedly to earn credits, but this is a key part of the game, we race because it is fun and to earn credits to buy more cars. We don’t play games to spend money on microtransactions.

    Another problem with the game is the roulette mechanic, it is too much like gambling in its visual presentation, and it is rigged to give the lowest reward 95% of the time. I tested this buy saving up tickets and then opening them in one go, and I pretty much got the lowest reward every time.    … Expand

    This should be a free game. You don’t own iy, only play online and they can change the rules at any time. Disgusting behavior. Some cars cost $250 to cash to buy and impossible to earn from credits. It would take 30 years playing every day to buy all the cars.

    Toutes les accusations on été réparé, c'est le gran turismo on l'on débloque le plus de voiture et de loin ! Déjà 100 véhicule en quelques heures de jeux. Bref les joueurs exagére vraiment, ils ont largement rectifier le tire, le jeu est excellent

    Sorry but the micro-transactions are just rediculous. The game in the whole is pretty good. But the grind or cost of getting all the cars has ruined the game.

    This game would be enjoyable to play if you had a vast car and track selection right from the get go. The litany of tutorials plus the difficulty of the tutorials makes the game not fun at all. The graphics are amazing and the ray tracing is a sight to see. However you have to play for hours just to unlock basic things. Just make the game open world already

    Personal: Is car physics or physics in general understood in japan? Japanese games all seem to lack physics, why is that? MGS lacks physics, the Yakusa games lack physics, Final fantasy games lack physics? Why do Japanese game developers not understand physics? Ghost of Tsushima is probably the best Japanese game of this generation and a key reason is its physics, but it took an American developer with an understanding of physics to make it great without the physics where would it be?
    The arrogance of Japanese developers to think they can get away with such a lack of innovation is crazy, as you can see by the user reviews the nostalgia trick has been played out we want innovation not the de-innovation that’s on offer here

    At this stage polyphony’s lack of understanding has reached the point they should retire from making games and maybe do a konami getting in to pachinko, to understand such a damming assessment pick up a copy of 2013 Drive Club (Non4K) pause it in game and select the camera, zoom in on the car model, then do the same with GT7 and you will quite literally see just how far behind the curve GT7 really is in both graphics and enjoyable gameplay the comparison is honestly staggering, why on earth Sony chose to plow their money in to the ignorant polyphony over the stunning Evolution Studios is beyond comprehension, a PS4 release title is graphically better than an accumulation of 24 years’ experience making the exact same game over and over again and a powerhouse PS5 to work with. If I was a developer at polyphony id be pretty embarrassed to list it as a previous workplace, it’s simply not enough to be disappointed at user reaction polyphony’s entire design team from the ground up should be embarrassed by this travesty they have ruined what could have been a stunning return to form with this disgusting money grab entry, I honestly believe this thing is in such a poor state there’s nothing they can do to fix it before the 25th anniversary of the game, if they want to be ready on time for the 100th anniversary they need to replace their entire design team now.

    Original: If there was any question the economy of the game was set up to push people to buy overpriced credits from PSN, Update 1.07 should make it painfully obvious of this fact. Polyphony nerfed what was already low credit payouts for races. Couple this with almost all of the single player content needing an always online connection and this effectively kills what good feelings I have with the game.

    Online only, even for single player, microtransactions, i strongly dislike the progression of the game now with the GT Cafe and the endless text dialogues after doing everything. I was really hoping that GT7 would be a return to form for Polyphony but no its same mediocre s**t. The graphics are decent, thats about it, everything else is just trash and i regret buying this game.

The games broken economy, and pay to win scheme through micro transactions along with very little content that isn’t locked behind a paywall…….destroy any value this game could have. Until those issues are rectified, I strongly discourage others from purchasing a broken game.

Initially the game is good, but once you finish the “campaign” it becomes very clear that unless you can literally no life this game you will probably never own all the cars you want.     I’ve been doing all there is to do in GT7. And i can tell PD is mocking us. The AI in the new human comedy is completely broken. In the circuit experiences it’s almost impossible to get gold (despite getting gold in all of the ones i did) , because the regular player won’t be able to complete them.

    Since GT1 and GT2 came out, I have been a fan of the franchise. It made clear why that "Spoon Civic" was so much more satisfying to drive in-game than a similarly powered car do drive. It was a "The real driving simulation". I actually grew very tired of waiting to find a PS5 at a reasonable price, so I decided to buy an XBOX Series X (and don't regret it). Once I got to experience the Horizon and Motorsport titles, I must say that I was highly impressed with them all. They are beautiful visually, audibly and gameplay is a blast. I can see now why so many people were always saying that Forza is better than GT. Gran Turismo 7 actually pales in comparison to even the older versions (on Xbox One). I’m not here to bash Sony, PD or GT7; I’m here to say do better. It’s going to take some work to win back this GT7 fan over again. I’ll still get a PS5 sometime in the future when it becomes more feasible to do so, but in the meantime, I’ll be waiting on Forza Motorsport 8 to drop.… Expand

No, you must satisfy many conditions the game sets up for you, do a lot of shores that you DO NOT WANT TO DO in other to unlock races, even to unlock multiplayer, which is a major slap on the face.
    Oh, you want to play with your friend? You can't. Here, go tune up a 1965 Mini Cooper, spending 300K credits on it so that I'll allow you the next step of shores so that you can unlock the parts of the game that you actually care about. The game also obligates you to interact with a lot of bots so that you can unlock anything, the bots pop up everytime with stupid messages like "you have to stay in road to complete this challenge" all the time. This game treats you like a drooling idiot.
    Oh, did I say that this game requires an always online connection even to play by yourself? Yeah, they want to be able to push you microtransactions every time and it also means that when this game's server is down, the game is more worthless than a paperweight. Also, I buy the new Gran Turismo to play with newer cars, but this game only has 2019 & prior models. No C8 Corvette!! Oh sure, soon enough they'll sell you a DLC with newer models that already had to be on the game, it's all about charging you more money!

Is the race rewards higher now or lower then in beginning don’t know but I enjoy the game.

    I don't feel there is a huge leap in graphics compared to GT Sports. The interface feels dated by modern standards. The car list doesn't have any newer european models at all.

    Following the latest update, PD have fixed most of the issues plaguing this game, with more improvements still to come.

    Credits are now fairly awarded, the ability to sell cars for credits will soon come etc.

    Absolute masterpiece of a game. You learn so much about performance driving and manufacturer history. Beautiful tracks and love the trial mountain returning to the franchise! Also the music is so good in this game. Really love the feeling of the game.

    Only gripes are with the heavy MTX and always need for online mode. PD seems to listen to the community and try to make changes for the    Absolute masterpiece of a game.     Playstation 3:Same with playstation 2 but with delay 8/10

    Playstation 4+5:You pay full price for a DEMO! And you realise you are done with playstation. It came the moment to abandon the playstation brand permanently cause you dont like sonys policies.0/10

    You think youll go to xbox but xbox is even worse with rrod, no games, services, same as sony policies. Then you think youll go to nintendo. Nintendo cant provide you AAA games of raw power and awesome gameplay. Yoshi, Mario, kid games, bright colors, obsolete graphics, problematic controls, high prices. So no to nintendo. Then you think youll go to PC! Pc has...the worst ratio of cost-performance. You cant bother with it. Its not worthy.And steam follows same policies of sony and microsoft. So no.

    This is an incredible game. It got off to a rough start, but they listened to their customers, and in my opinion, they got things straightened out. It’s the best racing sim that I’ve ever played and I’m confident that it’ll continue to get even better with future updates.

    The credit increases to the game have helped. Still a fun game to play, but still grindy and the physics could still use a look at. They aren't broken to the point where it's un drivable, but with hours of tuning you can kind of get the car to behave. MR cars in general are the worst examples of this, along with and 4wd or rwd car without downforce a banked track (high speed ring is a goodThe credit increases to the game have helped.     Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
