    The game was a lot more enjoyable before the shutdown. I don't think there was a bug, i think they just **** up the credits and made a move to change it on the fly before potential money was lost. After playing since release i now don't feel motivated to do races for no win. And originally i thought people was just being ott

    This game was designed to push microtransactions and thats just sad. The spirit of gran turismo is gone. Can't sell cars back that dont need.
    Lack of events.
    Very low credit payout for long custom races.
    Credits earned for races have been decreased.
    Single player is unplayable when offline.
    They claim they want want realism but upgrade parts are overpriced to encourage microtransactions.

That pretty much guarantees that you will NEVER be able to experience all the cars of the game. Then, to stick the knife in even further, Kaz lowers the winnings of races across the board. Thanks for ruining the original spirit and vision of the game.
    I have bought every gran turismo that has ever been made. With these new rules and "real world pricing"(?????) Kaz has tarnished this once great game. VERY SAD. :o(    … Expand

    This game is cash grab, Sony and Polyphony don't care about the games and only about their pockets.
    After releasing the game, they changed it to make it harder than it already was to buy cars without quitting our jobs and playing all day or spending actual cash up $40 a car. They should be sued and boycotted for this greedy behavior.

The publishers should be embarrassed by how quality the driving can be to just be ruined by greed and a budget experience. Had the game been free, I'd not been upset, but I paid full price.     The menu system is archaic, cumbersome and a lesson in how not to build a UI. It was acceptable in the 90's. Not anymore.    Considering the time between games, Sport and GT6, they have released what is clearly and PD have admitted so, an unfinished game. For £70, that is unacceptable.     The in game on screen characters are incredibly annoying and I personally skip all of them at every opportunity. I'm not interested in knowing Mitsubishi's history. If only they could be turned off.

    The credit payments are ridiculous considering the effort needed to race. They are clearly trying to push micro transactions and it shows when the first post release patch lowers payments.

    My only regret is buying full price. Based on this, it's not worth the money.    … Expand

Finally updated sounds (especially in the tires) Car collector you are NOT. your cars are only dictated by the cafe book. What cars you earn and what order.     - no selling cars
    - the randomized gifts are ALWAYS the least amount of money the gift can give you
    - Ridiculously expensive cars.

    AAA game that is almost a pay to win system. Visuals that have not improved much since gt5. A broken reward system where a 2 star can earn you $10k and a 4 star will net you $5k. No offline option to play with your own garage as servers go down. Shocking and disgusted but good range of cars

    -add more events (especially endurance events) and separate the world circuits from the events
    -give the option to qualify in every single race
    -more generous rewards ESPECIALLY for custom races - credits plus chances to win cars
    -more varied sport mode - have actual daily races alongside weekly races - BoP mode and tuning modes
    -completely rework the used car dealership, update more and give more used cars
    -add a platinum trophy to each license and mission event that is very difficult to complete
    -give more camera options, such as chase cam presets, cockpit view without the wheel etc. the camera's need a lot of work    … Expand

I've played every GT game since the start and this is the worst it has been. GT games have been getting worse and worse as time goes on and it's clear to see people are fed up with it.

    Prior to patch 1.07, I'd have given this a 10, since 1.07 I haven't bothered with the game at all. There is now way too little single player content to make any progress, as the winnings have been slashed and the multiplayer payouts are a joke. For the first time ever, my PS5 is going to be my secondary console and I'll be using my Series X as my main console going forward.

    Increase of rewards in Online Races - YEAH RIGHT
    Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings - YEAH RIGHT
    Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr. - WTFF????
    Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time - So players are forced to use their cards to purchase vehicles if the cars are available for a limited time?

    A big let down by SONY....following in the footsteps of EA and TakeTWO (Rockstar).

    Bad: The core guts of the game... The classic GT games were so innovative and available for exploring or grinding. You could think of almost any car you wanted, throw parts on it and find suitable races for it. You used to be able to hot swap parts and/or sell your previous parts as you progressed up the mod tiers. Hell, you used to be able to sell the damn cars! Or vice versa, something you would have never wanted to drive, you'd purchase and upgrade and experiment with because each car you unlocked had a unique race(s) associated with it or its class.
    -Car List: The car list from GT2 was 10x better than this version. There are so many obvious exclusions
    -Rewards: First off, the roulette rewards are a complete scam. Race rewards are pretty bad considering the overall economy of the game. Thanks for the Million credits, but its still a joke.
    -Race List: There are under 40 single player missions and almost 10 of those are "go equip this part", "go tune this", "install wide body", etc. There are a bunch of cars/classes that have no single player missions at all. Each track should have a variety of class, DT, PP or manufacture restriction.

    I know some people just want MP or Sport mode, but the single player content is an absolute joke. This was supposed to be the epitome of racing sim games. The best GT ever? It feels so empty. Like an alpha release. I feel like I barely scratched the surface and then the credits roll as if this is some masterpiece. It should be priced at $40. Let alone the DRM or online locked restrictions. I was so hyped for this game and barely find myself even thinking about it anymore. what a waste of a franchise    … Expand

Nerfing of the rewards has made grinding for credits extremely tedious, this was obviously done to push you towards the micro transactions.     Not impressed. Waited years for this game and we were promised a huge single player campaign like in GT4. Where is it? And I don’t like the fact I paid 70 quid and am being hindered by woeful credit rewards - obviously the idea is that we’ll start paying for content. Well I’ll not be doing that any time soon. Very disappointed.

It's not like anything GT has done b4, and I don't mind changes, but this is just a tutorial that you have zero choices in what car to use. There are no more leagues. You used to be able to play from Beginner League to Endurance. There's zero. Beginner League alone had over 50 races. How many races after the 39 level rails for the tutorial? Ten different race series with an average of three races each. Horrible. I've yet to bring up the fact that they cut race payouts in half so it took longer to farm cars. You used to be able to buy individual cars for between $1 and $5. Now the expensive cars are over 18 million credits. But you can buy 2 million credit packs for $20 each. That means the expensive cars are $180!!!! WTF is that about? They didn't include the credit store in the game until the day of release. That means all of the reviews had zero clue it would cost that much. **** of them and deceitful! Sad to say this is the end of an era for me. Paid $80 to have 1/4 the amount of content of other GT games. How the head of the studio keeps his job we have no clue. He went from a god to a money grabber to people overnight. Sad.… Expand

    Also very, very pushy for micro transactions.
    I have played and owned all of the previous major releases and can say that this one for sure is worse than you can imagine. Such a disappointment.

    Terrible credit rewards, can't sell cars to make money, greedy developers need to fix this ASAP as the game is almost unbearable once the menu books are finished. Furthermore, the offline mode is non-existent, even though you bought the game, really you own nothing without an internet connection. Sadly, I feel the damage is done now, this is the last GT I ever buy

    It takes a whole live to get some credits to buy a decent car to race on Gr4 or Gr3, or of course, pay for them in real money, very greedy indeed. I think I'll quit playing, I have no time enough to finish it, wasted money in my opinion. Very disappointed.

Then when my penalty counter runs out and I'm back from ghost mode, a guy hits me full speed from behind and I get a 5 sec penalty.... I get hit often and I see the culprit not getting a penalty. But hey, let it be. But when I get hit and I get the penalty, that's messed up.
    The lottery tickets. I complete the daily workout, and I get 1 and 3 star tickets. At collector level 44.... This is a joke. Then I "scratch" my ticket and still get the **** "reward" available. 5000-10000 credits in a game where cars cost 3 mill to 20 mill. Why would I bother playing when the rewards and the penalty is this messed up? Get your act together. This is an embarrasment to the previous GT games.    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.
