    First game in a while that had me choke up and tearing up this game is one of those games you cant get anywhere else this is my personal game of the year combat great, Story great, bosses are so great the first hour of the game is 10/10 i really love this game

    Mejora en todos los aspectos a la anterior entrega, las misiones secundarias tiene un nivel que no había visto, sólo en juegos como RDD2 y The Witcher 3, grandes sorpresas aún en contenido endgame, la jugabilidad puede parece muy continuista pero conforme avanzas va mejorando y cambiando, y lo que muchos esperaban, la historia cumple con creces.

    "The Norse Apocalypse" is reduced to a poor family friendly thing where LITERALLY there is not a moment in the final part where you feel fear for the lives of the characters. The problem is that the game for 30+ hours brings you a "problem" that towards the end is not even mentioned, for me this thing is absurd, considering the care and maturity of the first game.

    I just finish the Ragnarok story, what a journey! So impressive!
    I'l glad to have chance to play this game, was just to emotional for me, a lot of differents feelings! The artistical direction, character art, env, camera sequences was pixel perfect!

    Just a really good game. Nothing to say more. So much fun playing it it's like the 2018 one but better in every way. I liked so much the previous, this one is just pure happiness. The gameplay, the story, the graphics, kratos.. just wow !!

    The decline comes from how much they throw at you from a narrative point-of-view. God of War (2018) is a straightforward, impactful story of a boy and his father going on a journey to spread the mother's ashes. Along this journey, bits and pieces of the world and its characters slowly start to get peeled back.

    God of War: Ragnarok feels like it should have been a fourth installment for how much they ask of you to know everything about this world. There are so many moving parts to be aware of for the story to really makes that impact 2018 did and it never does. It doesn't help that the characters outside of Kratos, Atreus and maybe Freya are pretty unengaging.

    It's not even that Ragnarok is a "bad" game, honestly it's exceptional as hell with an obvious huge budget attatched to it to help sell that this is a AAA game with new mechanics, worlds, engine improvements, etc. But that doesn't help the feeling that God of War: Ragnarok tries to do too much with too little setup.    … Expand

    When God of War received its soft reboot in 2018, I thought there couldn’t be a better game. That was until I started playing Ragnarok. It take the best of the previous game and improves upon it, adding new enemies and new creative characters.

    This game was way better than I hope it could be. I was super skeptical if this was going to be the Judgement Day of sequels or the Matrix ones and I am super happy it was the former I had so many hyped and teary moments in it that I can't even count 10/10 for me! My main criticisms are mainly from the technical and design side like companions giving hints too quickly for a puzzle and keepThis game was way better than I hope it could be.     Amazing start and people complain about the pacing but personally I think its perfect. Amazing innovation on all aspects of combat and movement. I absolutely love the ending as well. This game gives a different experience. I felt true emotion towards the story of the game. Definitely my GOTY. Cant wait to see what Santa Monica has in store for the fans next.

Apesar da gameplay ser quase igual ao do título anterior, ele traz bastante novidade em combos e especiais, e muuuitos novos puzzles bem mais complexos que os do god 2018, em relação a performance do jogo, eu joguei no ps5 no modo performance.     Incrível como superaram as expectativas, o jogo consegue trazer um auto nível e se manter nele durante toda gameplay, diferente do Horizon, os diálogos são bem encaixados em momentos quê transitamos pelo cenário, a jornada é incrível, personagens marcantes e uma ótima dublagem brasileira. Recomendo muito pra quem está na dúvida de adquirir!

    The game got old quick in my opinion, but I also played GoW (2018) right before playing Ragnarok so I was pretty tired of the same repetitive combat. There were parts of the game that felt like GoW and there would be hours where I would forget I was even playing a GoW game and would think I was playing something different.

    Overall the game is good, and I praise Santa Monica Studios for all their effort. Hopefully, they switch up the combat, animations, and environment next go around.    … Expand

    For context This is coming from a person who has played all the god of war games(including the psp games). Also I am officially 75% done with this games and done the majority of the bosses in the game.God of war ragnarok is not only a worthy sequel but imo better than 2018 and possibly(as of right now) the best game to be made this decade. The characters in this game are so rememberable when it comes to old and new characters .Without spoilers there were parts in this game where I legit had tears. Only one game got me to do that and that was last of us 1(you know the scene) and I cried harder in this game . I would never usually g give a game 10/10 because a game always have flaws and even 2018 I originally gave it a 9/10. But with this game I mean it. It is a 10/10 game and it’s a perfect game to wrap up the Norse mythology.… Expand

    Truly an amazing game that hits on everything and more. From story, character development, evolving the combat, visuals, and everything in between! GOAT game!! Sad to see so many people hating on an incredible game. It’s clear most of the 0 reviews didn’t even play the game just based on what they’re saying. I supposed all great things must have it’s haters. To each their own.

    A great story with so much emotions and plot twist with a great fun gameplay with different things making the gameplay different then the other game with a ln alive realms making me feel like am on a real place with a wonderful graphics bri this game is 100/100 a truly masterpiece

    An almost untouchable combination of gameplay and storytelling. Whilst not being the most technically impressive/proficient game, I was nevertheless engaged from start to finish and well into the postgame content. A solid contender for game of the year this year

The story deserves a chefs kiss it was just outstanding and plus all the other stuff you can do after you beat the main story is incredible. The combat is sooo much fun. This game had me feeling so much emotions to happy, sad, mad even had me a bit emotional at the end. The soundtrack was INCREDIBLE it matched with everything that was going on!.     The game manages to feel familiar, yet improve upon the 2018 release,    God of War Ragnarok is a beautiful beast in a league of its own, the game manages to build up upon its predecessor and create a better game altogether, from the first few minutes it’s a non stop rollercoaster action ride that culminates in an war of epic proportions, with an ending twist that I did not see coming.

    The game manages to feel familiar, yet improve upon the 2018 release, character progression feels natural, side missions that can be followed in an organic way, rpg elements shine once again following the same pattern from the previous entry. For the 4holes saying this is a DLC trying to boycott the game, It took me around 50 hours and still I have 61% trophies so there’s a lot to do after the end credits.

    Un jeu totalement émouvant, qui me marqueras à tout jamais. Ce n’est pas simplement un “God Of War 1.5” comme on aurait pu le craindre avant sa sortie. Jeu poignant qui mérite largement ce GOTY cette année. Une pure merveille.

    Sin lugar a dudas un obra maestra de los videojuego, un gameplay fenomenal y una historia principal que no dejara indiferente a nadie emocionante y llena de acción a cada paso, sin lugar a dudas santa monica studios hizo un mundo lleno de detalles y secretos por descubrir , para mi es el GOTY 2022 y mi juego favorito de la vida hasta el momento.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
