    Sadly boring story, unnecessarily deep.
    Very little epic fights, gow 2018 final fight still better than entire ragnarok's boss fights.
    I am a huge fan of gow 2018 but this is just a shadow of it. Sorry :/

    A big step up from the 2018 God of War. With a more fluid and fun fighting experience, loving the interactive environment and the crazy movement from the blades of chaos. Beautiful graphics, most likely the best I've seen in a video game. The story just jumps straight into it and the side quests are phenomenal, making it all tie together for an amazing and emotional journey. Definitely theA big step up from the 2018 God of War.     Too much backseating in this game unbelievable and the story lacks originality. There is no freedom to experiment and most of the time the game tells you how to play their game and it feels like you're not in control. It's like a superhero movie with game inside.

    A lot of tedious filler, picking up hacksilver, mashing attack button, throw axe at bucket, pick up hacksilver...repeat...just not very interesting to me. Also, the story felt a bit stale, seems like they've already covered most of their ideas for plot in previous games.

    The game is graphically just as impressive as its predecessor, but there is no significant change in terms of gameplay from 2018, the story is interesting, but its weak and very important points are the lack of difficulty and lack of originality, in addition to playing with Atreus is kind of boring.

    I've played like 10 hours and its just as good as the first. Would have prefered a continued save or something but thor yelling your victories from the last game at you is cool too.

    The sequel did not disappoint, I will do without spoilers. The game logically completes the Scandinavian mythology, the plot is clear and good. There are intrigues, and tough fights, and a plot twist. If you like GOW 2018 then Ragnorek is required to pass

    Verdadera Joya, mejora en todo al anterior, gran jugabilidad, gráficos y lo mejor de todo, una historia que te atrapa, lástima que haya mucho hater de sony que evalua este juego con 0 puntos por puro fanatismo y sin haberlo jugado, este juego es posiblemente el goty 2022 y una obra maestra, no lo dudes, juegalo!

    The conclusion of the Norse saga brought to us on a golden plate of storytelling and gameplay. Built like a beautiful cinematic story from Hollywood in the 90’s. Absolutely a masterpiece. Must Play.

    Marvelous experience. Finished this amazing story for 30 hours, and now planning to finish all side-quests, those I did already were very elaborative of lore and characters, you will not want to miss them.

    Absolute Masterpiece the story is amazing, the gameplay is similar to gow 2018 but is better, the exploration is 10/10 and a great conclusion to the north mithology saga.

    Tiende a interrumpirte demasiado para caer en exposición para una historia que está bien floja.
    Encontré interesante el que estuviese un Dios de la guerra que provenía de la antigua Grecia para hacerle frente ahora a Dioses Nórdicos. Demasiado Soporífera, pierde muy rápido el ritmo que hace parecer al Digimon Survive un juego con mayor ritmo siendo    Como juego de video cumple a medias.

    Tristemente pierde demasiado ante el GoW 2018 que en su tiempo fue increíble, y para 4 años de desarrollo va diciendo que es un juego que tenían planeado sacarlo desde un inicio a la PS4, por lo que se lastró mucho para la nueva generación del que tanto presumen, ya no decir los múltiples glitches.

    Decepcionante, estos de Santa Mónica que les tenía en lo más alto se han cargado esta maravillosa saga. Han convertido a KRATOS el jodido dios de la guerra que con sólo esa mirada a hércules se meo el los galllumbos en un tertuliano del sálvame. Juego soporífero muy a mi pesar.

    I have played video games for the last 20 years and it's games like God of war ragnarok what keeps me playing, there's really not surprise that a playstation exclusive is good, but God of war takes your expectations and makes them even better. There is really not a negative thing to say, ragnarok is a masterpiece and if you own a ps4/ps5, you have to get this game.

    No vale la pena gastar por esta nueva entrega, si jugaste la versión de 2018 no tiene caso jugar la nueva, gráficamente es lo mismo, nada nuevo ni aun en PS5, es un DLC de la versión de PS4. Realmente una tomadura de pelo por parte de Sony

    My expectations for the sequel have blowing my mind. Everything that you could imagine would happen happened. There are many wow moments.

    Gameplay is better, more variety overall, and other characters to play as and with other than Kratos. There are so many upgradable things for your skills. And magic abilities.     For the story, no spoilers, everything that was left a question in the prior game are all answered and engaging to see what happens next. The pacing was good better than the first game. Everything makes sense as you progress through the story not many plot holes.

    The game did not force me to do any side missions. I strictly did the main story, and was capable of finishing it. I still progressed becoming a stronger Kratos at the end.

    Emotions in the story had a solid foundation each chapter was building up to an important scene or scenes in each characters personal development. Everyone had a different path.

    Lastly, enemy variety was one of the strengths of this great game. Each realm had its own unique enemy variety boss types. It felt fresh every time, and sometimes it was challenging. I played on, give me balance difficulty mode.

    All in all, fantastic game the characters had so much depth to them. Each character had their own unique ability throughout the story. It made me so happy and smiled. At times you can tell the developers really put a lot of time and effort and hard work into this project. Good job Santa Monica studios.    … Expand

    This is the best possible sequel we could’ve had. It builds on every aspect, every detail, every lore and mechanic of previous game and expands it! Game looks beautiful, and all different realms are intricate and unique. The opening sequence along is the one of the best in all of gaming ever. This game promises a lot and overdelivers all the hype. It is above and beyond of what we expected!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well where do I begin.......... After the success of God Of War on PS4 back in 2018 I never expect a sequel to surpass the 1st game?........... BUT how wrong I was.
    This game is a masterpiece and must be played!!!!
    Awesome graphics, the world's look amazing, the frame rate is adequate...... And the story has you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.
    I purchased this game on the PlayStation Store........ I have last gen AND current Gen versions........... I have been playing the PS4 version on the PlayStation 5 and I have zero complaints with the games stability? Maybe the PlayStation 5 Is making the game run and look better?
    I won't post any spoilers but the story was tugging on my heart strings at certain points, I actually finished the story earlier today and once I unlock all trophies on PS4......... I am loading the PlayStation 5 version and starting again because I have loved every second of the game     … Expand

    It's definitely enjoyable with an interesting story, but the restrictive exploration, samey combat and very american dialogue really bring things down. Definitely recommend it, but other than the story don't expect anything very different from 2018

    This is a perfect sequel from every point of view,libera of the saga i can confirm that this game has changed compared to the god of war 2018, whit the addition of several new characters that make the experience simply fantastic, whit a variegated bestiary compared to the first,a more of the same absurd is perfect!!!

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
