    An incredible, a bit predictable, story and top notch acting from the characters. But actually playing GoW Ragnarok is mindless and boring. I think Santa Monica Studio needs to enter Sony's movie/series department. They can tell a great story but they can't design engaging gameplay..

    El juego es simplemente maravilloso. A la gente que solo tira hate sin sentido por ser de Xbox no seas así y aprecien las cosas. Ganamos nosotros. 10/10 para mí el mejor juego del año.

    Great gameplay and a good story bogged down by aggravating arena fights with over-tuned mobs and sub-par boss fights that tend to be easier than some normal mobs, main story boss fights also have too many check-points that make playing on the harder/hardest difficulties feel a little bit too easy.

Combat is same or worse than last iteration, slow clunky, easily stun locked, get hit with first artack of combo, well you're now stuck getting hit the rest because you cant move block duxk dip dive or dodge once you get hit. Your attacks never break enemy guard, they just tank through everything. Everything is a mob, amd if you play on anythingMost anticipated disappointment of the year.     Ragnarok is a better version of its predecessor. Better combat, better story telling and acting, new skill tree…
    Graphics are not top tier. The performance is stable in PS5. The only problem is it doesn’t give a new game feeling, its better but its new. In overall its a great game and probably the best of 2022.
    -5= Graphics.
    -5= Being better but pretty similar with GoW 2018.

    I don't usually write reviews or give ratings, but God of war is one of my favorite series along with mass effect and tlou. As with the original, the developers managed to improve the original formula and make an already excellent game even better. I liked the graphics, characters, variety. I can't find any disadvantages. The best game of 2022.

    I played almost 15 hours and this Game.... it´s not just an Game, it´s a duty for every Single Player to experience this masterpiece. Story, combat, satisfaction, characters, dialogs are made with love and high quality. You can see the work of 4 years!! I couldn´t find any cons, everything makes fun. even some Side quests are Witcher 3 Niveau! My GOTY 2022!!!

I was worried my expectations were too high going into this, and I’m so glad it somehow exceeded them. The combat is great against bosses, but fighting groups of enemies (the majority of the damn game) is mostly garbage and not fun. The camera is garbage, and you’ll either be spending a lot of your time trying to keep all the enemies in frame or getting shanked from off screen.     A few really good fights and an awesome story unfortunately ruined by terrible pacing and gameplay. The majority of the game is spent on frustrating mandatory fetch quests, puzzles, walking simulation, and unskippable cutscenes. If you're already bought into the story from the first game it might be worth the time, but if you're looking for a fun video game this isn't it.

    Everything is designed so perfectly from the weapons to world design and dialogue, I didn't think anything could be more well made then God of war (2018) but somehow they managed to do it and I can't stop myself from playing every chance i get to see what new gear i can use and what new story there is to absorb, Truely a Masterpiece i will never forget.

    El juego funciona de excelente forma si has seguido la franquicia, hay incluso referencias al cómic, en cuanto a continuidad obviamente sigue lo ocurrido en God of War 2018 y culmina la historia de una manera brillante

    En cuanto a jugabilidad no cambia mucho la fórmula, hay diferentes medios de transporte y algunos movimientos nuevos (todo lo nuevo se presenta después de unas horas de juego)

    Santa Monica fails to delives large scale boss battles yet again! This game is bloated and when i say bloated, Santa Monica put hours long slow walk cinematic levels aka Disney theme park levels! These are travesty in God of War game.

    For me this is without a single doubt the greatest story/game i have ever experienced. It is better in every possible way in regards to its prequel from 2018, which already was outstanding, but what Santa Monica Studios has delivered here is a true masterpiece.

    Throughout the development of the plot, there was such a feeling that from the beginning you were grabbed in a fist by the balls and squeezed in those moments when the main character was about to die. And don't clench your fist until the very end of the game.

    Most people are rating this game based on the name alone, this game is no better than the previous game, except with more cinematic’s and even on a PS5 it doesn’t even look any better than the previous game, too much walking, talking, and cinematic’s, they are charging $74.99 for these games, they really have to do better, maybe Forspoken will be the GOTY, it’s definitely not this one.

    1. There's constant backseating everywhere, i almost smashed my tv because of all that ****
    2. Same walking simulator through the same realms as in the previous game.
    3. Gods supposed to look godly, not like plebs like my **** neigbors

    I always found the first one overrated and this is no exception this is not the God of war I loved when I was a kid however I would still say this is a good game is it a masterpiece ? No it's not all these 10 makes me wonder how much people can be blind on the flaws of this game

    Una obra maestra. Han hecho lo que parecía imposible, mejorar el reboot que hicieron con la entre anterior. La historia es trepidante, los combates son divertidos y variados y hay muchísima variedad de enemigos y jefes.

    One of the few games that truly qualifies for a 10/10.
    Everything is just superb. Story, combat, puzzles, cinematics, performance.
    I see the game got somewhat mixed user scores, I am not sure why.
    I am only 5 hours in, so maybe I also change my opinion, but so far it's really good.

    Just simply a masterpiece. Don't know how they did it after 2018 but they beat my highest expectations and delivered the impossible. Was an incredible and compelling thrill ride to the very end. I mean the passion that is on display throughout the hours of playtime... wow! 10/10! 110%

The scene that shocked me was that Thor was killed by Odin and Tyr was actually Odin. I'm also saddened by Brok's death and Sindri's falling out with Atreus. Odin's death made me happy. At the end Atreus makes his own choice and Kratos respects him. Long story short thank you for such a game!!!!… Expand

    The best game ever. Everything about this game is perfect. The story, music, gameplay, graphics, and puzzles. It was an emotional rollercoaster. Don't hesitate to play it. I can't begin to understand negative user scores, not even mixed ones.

    This game must be the game of the year. I would even go as far as to say it is the best game of the last decade. It has some competition there tho!

    The story the feeling, the emotional weight this game put me through is unmatched! My biggest respect and applaud for a game that every other game can look up to and thereafter set their own barrier! I freaking beep love it!

    It's a good videogame but not a Master piece, my low rating is for the PS5 version because it's exactly the same game than PS4 but more expensive, there isn't a new generation in this videogame, don't buy PS5 version it's a rip-off

    I think why i enjoy this game so much is because of its father son dynamic. In a way my dad is like Kratos less god like but they have some moments. And im sorta like Atreus trying to find myself in the real world and stepping into adulthood. They trust each other and care for each other they love each other.     Excelente continuação, drama perfeito , a narrativa não diminui em nada a ação do game , pena que por causa dos fanboys de xbox o jogo está recebendo algumas notas baixas, isso é triste , espero que tenha um amadurecimento por parte dos fãs de ambas as plataformas.

    God of War Ragnarok is a great game that improves upon its predecessor in every way. The characters are likeable and it focuses even more on the father and son relationship between Kratos and Atreus. The story overall is well-made. The gameplay is similar to the first game but with a lot of improvements. God of War´s gameplay has never been so fun. One thing i didn´t like however is the ending. It is far to open for the ending of the Norse Saga. The graphics are just what you would expect from a Sony exclusive title.

    In conclusion it is a great game and my personal G.O.T.Y. it is a must play for everyone who liked GOW (2018).    … Expand

    A continuation from the previous game and to me, that’s amazing. It plays as if I finished 2018 and booted up Ragnorak. Just a good game with graphics, story and stability!

    As a continuation of the previous part, the game is brilliant story, it is interesting, the gameplay itself is good, however, there are a few things about which one could complain about Ragnarok.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
