    A downgrade in every way when compared to the first with some really horrid mechanics from Ubisoft games and BOTW tossed in for no reason, like being unable to repair weapons, climbing stamina, find x amount of this thing to upgrade stamina, Ubisoft first person platforming towers. It's as if they never played the first one or this one and just sent it out.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is a downgrade from the last one. No guns in a zombie game is dumb. Boring story and no elements of surprise like the first game. Deathloop bug and corrupted save are a big problem. Only one save slot. I will never buy another game from Techland.… Expand

    I can't believe that coop progression was saved for all the players in DL and it is only saved for the host on DL2.

    Apart from that, the game is mediocre.

    Вот как можно было сделать игру в 2022 году с графикой 2013. Вроде есть RTX, но смысла от него ноль. Так как нет HDR!!!!! в 2022 году. Анимации лица вроде добротные. атмосфера в игре тоже огонь. Все портит освещение, превращает игру в мешанину. В местах где горит лампочка, освещенности от нее как от свечи а местами как от прожектора. В общем, освещение оставляет желать лучшего. Да и сюжетВот как можно было сделать игру в 2022 году с графикой 2013. Вроде есть RTX, но смысла от него ноль. Так как нет HDR!!!!! в 2022 году. Анимации лица вроде добротные. атмосфера в игре тоже огонь. Все портит освещение, превращает игру в мешанину.     The feeling when the previous part was better. Animations were made like by 10$ freelancers. Moreover, why would they do a rpg game about zombie apocalypse?? You can't stealth kill a zombie just because it's 1 level higher than u :d. Deserved 0/10, pathetic game.

    Просто 0/10 . Во-первых как можно настолько обосраться с оптимизацией ? Во-вторых я столкнулся с ошибкой, игра тупо не сохраняется , от слова совсем . Я начинал игру три раза , ничего не сохранилось в итоге про*бал около 10ч в пустую . Перезагружал игру , это тоже не помогло. В самом пути к файлу игры кириллицы нет , только латинские буквы.     I must say i like the first game more but its really not that bad. For all the Italian gamers you guys should be happy that the voice is missing I am an Austrian and i want the option switching language so bad. The voice acting in german is so bad i have never seen something like that i am not kidding. It ruins the game.
    Update: Dying light points are now in the game.

    Yet another broken release that is also worse than DL1. Repetitive, Boring dumb Story, this is DL for the Fortnite gen. No HDR which was promised too. Terrible Performance. You need a 1080ti for 60 fps in 1080p ultra while looking worse than comparable games.

    But i played in german and the dub is absolutely low effort and bad. It was okay in DL 1 Kyle was actually really good . But DL 2? Hell no. Switched to english better but for an AAA Game.....well.....

    Even if bugs and Performance were perfect it would be a mediocre copy paste open world game. Why this wanna be rpg garbeg in every game smh.

    Hi Techland would you please remove denuvo, so your game wont drop fps, thank you. Dying Light 2 is absolute trash, downgrade from first game in almost every aspect.

    Absolutely awful game, maybe one of the worst i have ever player. Bad graphics, jumping on zombies has so physics compared to DL1, awful story, boring characters, city looks bland and boring. This is most generic bad game i have ever seen. Avoid at all cost!

    If you are actual gamer and still care about this artform, don't buy this game. Don't support games that are hyped to moon and back by developers, but the end product is boring, lifeless and buggy. This is why gaming is dying. Hopefully Rockstar, Remedy and Insomniac bring gaming back on track, but as of right now, until you keep supporting games like Dying Light 2 and Far Cry 6, thereIf you are actual gamer and still care about this artform, don't buy this game.     If mods want to delete honest negative reviews from Dying Light 2, then please ALSO go and delete all the fake and hateful negative reviews from Last of Us 2, Assassin's Creed Unity, Watch Dogs, Arkham Knight and so on.

    Just an advice from one gamer to another, ignore all the fake positive 10/10 reviews. These people are lying, shamefully lying. Dialogue in this game is worse than some 2003 games. Parkour gets old in 2 hours, story is awful, characters forgettable at best, there's pretty much no horror in this horror game. If you want solid open world zombie game that has actual horror elements, i wouldJust an advice from one gamer to another, ignore all the fake positive 10/10 reviews.     IF you like a copy paste sandbox like farcry or assassins creed you will enjoy the game. If u like and expect Dying Light go back to the first game.

    This game is very boring and poorly optimized. But there is obscene language and jokes about intercourse. A good example of how sequels aren't always better.

DL2 is full of bugs (i've counted hundreds of them), it crashes constantly, it can't be saved manually, it has ridiculous graphics it seems a game from 2013, it has been optimized like dogs and sh4t not even playable with a rtx 3080 because it stutters and crashes. Seven years spent to develop thisto techland team: you're not good to make video games. You should stop and change job.     lots of people are complaining not just for missing italian but because this is a bad game and players are unhappy. I'm from the Netherlands and didn't like anything about this game: 1. it is visually ugly, bad textures, bad characters' faces, raytracing is not perceivable. 2. it's not fun to play, just generic zombie game with stupid quests and missions, nothing memorable. 3. broken savelots of people are complaining not just for missing italian but because this is a bad game and players are unhappy. I'm from the Netherlands and didn't like anything about this game: 1. it is visually ugly, bad textures, bad characters' faces, raytracing is not perceivable. 2. it's not fun to play, just generic zombie game with stupid quests and missions, nothing memorable. 3. broken save system and only 1 stupid slot. 4. key bindings are broken, this makes gameplay very uncomfortable. 5. it's not scalable and very demanding, I can barely play it at 1440p with my rtx2080super. 6. very invasive antipiracy mechanism which reduces performance and punishes people who bought the game, a regrettable way to make money fast by penalizing gamers. That should be removed fast! I will ask for a refund because I didn't like anything in Dying Light 2. Very bad job done on it… Expand

    what really surprises me is not even a word of excuses from Techland for releasing the game in such a bad condition. You should go and hide yourself and apologize publicly with gamers for publishing such a junk broken game

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.

    Dying Light 2 ups the ante from the original in almost every way, offering more satisfying parkour, combat and enough jump scares to make you never want to walk in the darkness ever again. A worthy and essential sequel.
