    I gave it 8 not 10 because of some glitches and some repetitive side quest (which game isnt? I know there are some game like Elder Scroll has excellent side quests but its not really apple to apple comparison). Overall, it is a very enjoyable game, especially exploring the city and tunnels, it almost bring up the insomnia of the fallout 3 memories.

    It's a great sequel to one of my favorite games ever. It improved upon almost every aspect, especially parkour and combat. The City is a great map and it's really fun to run around it. Graphically was a bit of a dissapointment though.

    Have to say I am enjoying it a lot more this time around. The game is different to when it    I played Dying Light 2 at launch and was totally bored. Noticed a few days ago a video detailing the Gut Feeling update launched and decided to give it another go.

    Have to say I am enjoying it a lot more this time around. The game is different to when it launched. They have added things like gear transmog, weapon blueprints, weapon crafting and lots more gore and brutality. They have also added some community events and stuff. On a slow playthrough - trying to cover everything. Kind of switching between one part of the storyline and clearing one area at a time doing all the side quests.

    Some games do come good in the end, not many. But this is a different game to the game I played originally. And for whatever reason, probably the gore updates, finding it a blast to play at the moment. The story is still a bit lacking and side quests are very the same. But nice to see Techland never gave up on the game and I salute them for that.    … Expand

    I liked this game a lot on PS5. Didn’t have any bad glitches, the environment was great, graphics good and the story was adequate. I like how your choices change missions and the outcome of the game adding to its replay ability. Recommend if you liked DL1

    It improves upon the original and the moment to moment gameplay is a blast. Sure there’s some bugs but I didn’t encounter any game breaking ones and only really had to restart twice so not as bad as made out by other sources. The story isn’t anything too grand or anything too memorable but the certain characters like lawman and Harlan are well done. Fast travel unlocks after a certain point but isn’t in the first half and honestly it kind of makes it more enjoyable. I think it’s worth playing.     Un juego muy muy dibertido con un ciclo de dia y noche que cambia la dinamica apazible del dia por la oscuridad de los zombies mutantes de la noche. Tiene sus bugs si y a veces algun zombie se traba, pero te hechas unas risas. Pero para nada te interrumpe la jugabilidad ( por lo menos a mi ).     Fantastic Game - but needs time to unfold!

    I loved the first game and played everything including all DLCs. The 2nd game isn't actually the same as before and it took me a while to adjust to the new engine and the way it felt while running and climbing around. But after one or two hours, I got into the flow and man, now, after one year of releasing the game, it's almost perfect in my    Fantastic Game - but needs time to unfold!

But after one or two hours, I got into the flow and man, now, after one year of releasing the game, it's almost perfect in my opinion!

    There's so much to do, side missions, collectibles and a long story I actually was interested in. Even after 15 hours in the game, there is still new stuff showing up to use, new elements and even two kinda "side stories" where you go and hunt stuff and get nice gear in exchange. The map itself could be larger, but I never had the feeling being limited by its size, on the other side EVERY district looks different and especially when you've reached the center of the city and climb those giant sky scrapers, THIS is absolutely great!

    I don't know why some people dislike or even hate this game. It's like DL1 but much better, IF you just take the time to get used to the 'new' way of gameplay. And Techland really takes care of their games and like the first part, DL2 runs perfectly, no crashes at all or hickups, it never gets boring, always something to do, encounters, day/night cycle and so on.

    If there are complaints, it would be the sky, somehow, feels complete static, there are clouds, but not moving at all, which somehow kills the atmosphere when you pay attention (think of GTA or Red Dead Redemption 2 and the fantastic weather/sky). It does change though, but it doesn't feel natural at all WHEN you pay attention, because most of the time you're busy doing all kind of things and not watching the sky... ;)

    So, if you liked the first game OR you are in 1st person climbing games like Mirrors Edge, love to hack on Zombies, this is definitely for you. Just give it time to unfold and get used to the gameplay!    … Expand

This happens a lot with sequels but dying light 2 is actually a very good game in its own right. I agree that attempting a thick old style RPG is probably not the way to go when big majority of fans expecting a parkour,Ok, let’s be reasonable here.     Dying Light 1 was better. This one is good. I am disappointed its not more like the DL1 where shooting and driving was awesome! Hopefully they make a 3 but do bettering with the world design, music, and Zombie design/AI... all was better in the first, but this is still a good game an 8, not a 10.     With my Height Phobia, its like remedy for me to playing this games. I spent hours just to parkouring the building and killed many Zombies on the ground. The detail and physics graphics is so Great.

    Easy 10/10 because enjoyable environment.

    People need to start realizing that all games will be launched buggy and **** and you as the consumer should wait for patches and only then purchase the game once its stable. Super exellent fun game with amazing traversal and satisfying combat. Good graphics but sub par music in game. This is not a downgrade from the original but a upgrade. Different mechanics. You can usually add 50% of the user score to itself and you're gonna be closer to what the game really is. Unless there's a controversy. The parkour and gameplay is as fun as they will ever be and I didn’t find the story to be all that lacking like everyone claims. Though I am angry about all the false advertising relating to how choices were supposed to have large impacts on the story and gameplay. All we got were a few extra quests and up to 7 gameplay features that don’t really change much in the game. I really hope they will make amends on this matter in the story DLCs.… Expand

I love it, it has too many bugs but I know it will be fixed, the basics of the game are perfect, fun, different, it's a new open world and I love it. The best parkour game in the world.     I've just about got the Platinum , game is a lot of fun, sure the story could be a little better but gameplay is a rich experience, the only real issues right now are technical issues, hopefully Techland will resolve these soon, glitched trophies, broken netcode etc but at it's core there's a lot of fun to be had in DL2.

The parkour is also a huge step up from the previous game and the combat too. I played some coop too and other than one small issue with audio while playing coop, it was extremely fun. Also, Jonah Scott does a phenomenal job as Aiden(the main character) in the game, along with many other memorable characters with above average voice actin, apart from some sidequests which had downright hilarious voice acting, but hey, I see this as a good thing as dying light 1, for me at least, was all about making fun of and laughing at these wierd quirky characters with my friends in coop. With Techland's promise of 5+ years of content coming to this game, I can definitely see my rating go to a 9, maybe even a 10 just because of how fun the game is, especially coop. I also quite liked the main story and, while it's not exactly groundbreaking storytelling, it certainly would keep one well entertained and invested in some of the characters, especially Aiden. The decisions also have a massive impact on the story and ending so if you dont like one ending, you may like another. I belive there is 5 completely different endings, so that also means lots of replayability. All in all, if you liked the first game in any way, definitely give this a try, I promise you won't be disappointed, as long as you don't have extremely high expectations for the story.… Expand

    Я фанат первой части, получил платину в длс the following и в основной игре. Эту часть ждал с дня релиза, с 2018-го года. Я был уверен что первую часть вторая не переплюнет, но… Но я только-что прошёл её и очень доволен сюжетом, все говорили что говно сюжет, но это не так. Сюжет на 8/10, неплохо, интересные сюжетные повороты, gameplay просто Бомба, первая часть мне нравилась заЯ фанат первой части, получил платину в длс the following и в основной игре.     Gameplayowe mistrzostwo. Mechanika parkouru cudowna. Stare miasto świetne, centrum momentami powtarzalne, ale bieganie po nim dzięki paralotni i hakowi bardzo przyjemne. Fabuła słaba/średnia, z bardzo fajnymi momentami i świetnymi wyborami. Postacie w większości to tragedia. Nie da się ich lubić (cześć Lowan), albo co najwyżej są graczowi obojętne. Motywacje i charakter głównego bohateraGameplayowe mistrzostwo. Mechanika parkouru cudowna. Stare miasto świetne, centrum momentami powtarzalne, ale bieganie po nim dzięki paralotni i hakowi bardzo przyjemne. Fabuła słaba/średnia, z bardzo fajnymi momentami i świetnymi wyborami.     Podsumowując, gra się przyjemnie dzięki świetnej mechanice parkouru, fabuła raczej jest graczowi obojętna. Gdyby relacje z NPC były poprawnie zarysowane, a ich charaktery mniej sztuczne i wkurwiające, to fabuła by się w jakiś sposób broniła. Gra 6/10. Daję 10, aby zrównoważyć włoskie bombardowanie. The game offers a lot in regards to Dying Light. The parkour is far superior and the story feels a bit tight. Combat is also far far far better than it has been before. I feel like when more content comes out for this game it's gonna be a underrated gem. As for the zombies they don't have alot of variety but the first game kinda didn't also. So I can genuinely deal with it. Violatiles are still present but in night zones and with the chase meter. Imo the chase meter is awesome and definitely gives me that scare adrenaline as the first game but I also wish violatiles was present at night standing around with the howelers it would make it way more intimidating to touch the ground. I haven't ran into gamebreaking bugs yet I'm.on ps5 but I have ran into two bugs battle music audio and howler being frozen. Overall I highly recommend this game. But definitely wait for a couple patches for the best experience for some. For people who don't have issues like myself enjoy.    … Expand

    Fabuła nie jest wybitna muszę wam przyznać...Proszę brać przykład z redów którzy robią to wyśmienicie. Sam gameplay, mam na myśli parkur, walka bronią białą, movement jest wyjebisty, nadrabia on starty w fabule która umówmy się jest słaba na tle konkurencji...

    Mission are quite boring, it feel like a fusion Dying last Far Cry of us Light 2...
    Zombie feel almost like decoration, never really a treat, you just ignore them most of the time... if they were not there it would not change much...
    The second half of the game is a lot better even if i atill feel there is a lack of interest in exploring but it start to feel Dying Light.
    I hope DLCs will be able to adjust it and bring more attractive goals even if it wont fix the very slow boring start. This game have huge potential, amazing open world and parkour, dont waste it please. And bring back gun + more agressive/ dangerous infected :)    … Expand

    Так вот, ожидая Dying Light 2, я думал что это будет что-то вроде первого DL, однако начав играть, я понял что играю в совсем другую игру.
    Первое же, на что я обратил внимание - управление. Паркур стал куда более "чётким" и, если так можно сказать, "намагниченным". И это мне нравится!
    Боевая система сразу же расстроила, интерфейс тоже. Однако поиграв часов 20 в игру, я получаю искренний кайф от кадого боя в этой игре.
    Сразу же пошли отсылки на историю и персонажей первой части, и меня, как фаната серии, радуют эти переплетения!
    Судя по тому, как я проходил дл1, вы могли заметить, что я люблю изучать всю игру вдоль-и-поперёк, и то, что в этом мире полне всяких сторонних активностей - это супер! Почему если тебе нравится как работает игра, ты будешь страдать от большого количества гринда? Я только рад что я останусь в этой игре подольше.
    Наиграл уже 80 часов, и ни капли не жалею о том, что потратил деньги и провёл в ней это время, к слову, сюжет я так и не прошёл, я почти что в самом начале, зато уже открыл весь первый город и сделал все сайд-квесты и активности! Просто кайф!

    Great game for me. The main plot isn't so surprising, but isn't boring too. Main characters are very interesting nature, own bussines to do, and own perspectives to that world. Maybe is not level of TLoU, but plot is still cool. The best side of game is gameplay, moving through the wall, jumping under streets all these parkour. Additional 10 points for morality/decisions system, but I miss real morality system from other games, where you can be real badass.     I played this game in april-may 2022 few patches come out and i didnt meet any big glitches beside one where i had no cinematic just balck screen and sound of whats going on. Gameplay is delicious i spend 80h in game to reach platinum + x? H of rubbering controller to make last trophy 960km. Defenetly recomended to everyone to try.

    Incredible game DO NOT listen to the reviewers who played before the day 1 patch, the update fixed almost every single major bug and glitch in the game and it is nearly perfect now. if you liked dead island or dying light 1 you will love this. such a fun masterpiece you will not regret playing it

Le gameplay est incroyable (sans compter quelque petit bug) L'histoire est forte et doté de pas mal de changement de trajectoire intéressante. Et surtout mais quel fin épique et choix cornélien. Le jeu nous met sous tension dans nos choix et le fait dans une atmosphère incroyable je trouve. La partie RPG est light comme j'aime. Des **** easter eggs sympathique. La qualité des animations et des éclairages (ray tracing) avec une distance d'affichage et une richesse dans le décors impressionnante. (Effectivement j'y ai joué dans les meilleurs disposition (full ultra 4K 60fps sur un gros PC et une LG CX) donc ça ne sera pas l'expérience de tout le monde donc je peux comprendre que tout le monde ne sera pas de mon avis. Pour moi il rentre au panthéon des meilleurs jeux que j'ai pu faire et ma réconcilié avec les open world que je trouves de nos jours bien trop grand et bien trop vide. D'ailleurs je ne le trouve pas spécialement très répétitif. Pour moi le problème sur ce jeu viens des versions pas optimisé des différents mode sur console et de quelque bug (radar qui ne s'affiche pas correctement, petit bug de parcours etc... mais pour cela il suffira d'attendre les patchs comme pour tout les jeux de maintenant. Je crois que l'on ne sais plus finir un jeu avant une sortie).… Expand

    Techland się postarał system walki i fabuła są bardzo dobrze ale najlepszy oczywiście jest... Parkour, nigdy nie widziałem grę z tak świetnym systemem parkouru. System walki ma taką wadę że wystarczy że będziesz tylko klikał lewy przycisk myszy i wszystkich wokół zabijesz.     Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.
