    They kill the game very patch possible. Dont even bother do play. Anything that was bad is doubled down and anything that was remotely fun is nerfed. Leveling was slowed down, classes already gutted, itemization not addressed, endgame activities heavily nerfed.

    The game's story was ok but there is no end game content and their new patch has made an already unbalanced game into an even more unbalanced mess where all classes suck it takes longer to leave areas (increased time to teleport to town for no reason) and seems like this is all to try and sell you more **** with there battel pass as this just happened    DO NOT BUY STOP PLAYING RIGHT NOW

    New patch shows just how out of touch Blizzard is. Rating low so hopefully they'll be forced to take notice and adjust season 1 before the game dies.

    Game felt good in the beta and during the 4 day early access period. Once it became very clear that Blizzard only cared about taking fun out of the game, it was all downhill. Currently, just play something else. The latest changes show they either have no idea how to run their game, or they don't care and just want you to slog through it as they milk you for every nickel.     After yesterday they dropped the first patch: I realized that Blizzard has something wrong in mind, they didn't hear the community, instead they punish every funny and easy aspect of the game.
    They don't deserve more money or attention: DON'T BUY THIS GAME.

    This game is in a sad state right now, extremely bad loot system, near 0 social aspect, all playable builds just got nerfed into the ground without any redeeming buffs to any build that was alredy unplayable, will need to wait a few seasons (about a year) for any noticeable improvements

    Worst update ever 1.1.0 in gaming history. Well done guys. Congratulations Rod for the Malignant tunnels you brought to the game, you really must be proud sitting in your office.

    A game made only with arrogance and stubbornness by developers who have no ability and have nothing to do with the reputation and fantasy built up in the days of Diablo 2

Now, not only are ALL classes a chore to play because of the massive nerfs to anything that made the game fun, but underperforming classes like Sorcerer have been made entirely unplayable.     I want item sets, the green items, after lvl 80 there is nothing new to do or any interesting item to hunt for, why didnt you fix resistances, isnt that a critical issue to fix?

    The game is not finished. But players like me have paid for a full game. At this moment we have put a lot of hours in and the things that are actually fun are being nerfed. There are certain mechanics that are used so you lose time and new ones being implemented. I feel like an unpaid betatester. If I could I would have asked my money back.

    Recent changes ruined any meaningful progress, loot sucks, builds nerfed, dungeon crawl without enemies, no endgame, artificial difficulty everywhere, only “cosmetics” dangled as loot and uniques that are awful and drop every 500k hours of playtime a.k.a spend your time playing any other game you enjoy.

    Endgame was horrible already, to add insult to injury, they've addressed 0 quality of life stuff, while nerfing every class, core mechanics, aspects and survivability through the board.     Absolute **** moves by the devs right before season 1. Massive nerfs. Mega grind. Lowered rewards. New gems and poor affixes do not make up for horrifically **** gameplay nerfs. Out.ofmtocuh devs too chicken **** to kick Bobby Kotick in his smug **** face. Coward ****

The current team has an absolutely incoherent design philosophy that shows through constant embarrassments in just about every one of their patches. Zero quality of life changes that players have been begging for and should have been in the game from day 1. This game is run by buffoons and has zero hope of ever sniffing it’s potential.     I'm giving this game a 1. It was enjoyable around launch, It was relatively smooth. Game play was fun-ish with only minor issues. The end-game a little shallow, and simple, but it's sometimes fun splashing around at the shallow end of the pool.

The suits above, or whoever is in charge of making the game focused on "player engagement/playtime" has ruined the game. Slows its pacing down so you spend more time grinding away at the same content you've already experienced over and over.

    They want you to spend more time leveling, playing through the story, dying over and over again to simple monsters, because forget survivability in a ARPG game, you want glass cannon! So maybe, just maybe, you'll look at the cosmetics shop and buy something because you're that bored, so its worth it for them in the end.

    They don't respect your time as a gamer, you shouldn't have to respect their game.    … Expand

    Bought this game for mmo and live service aspects. Terrible approach from blizzard! Game was in a bad condition after level 80, now its terrible. Rather than adding contents they are encouraging doing the same thing over and over. Player base had high expectations butt they fail to deliver.

    Not fun Uninspired 70$ mobile cash grab game feels unfinished so many bugs and things just not working at all....wish I could get a refund seriously this is not good at all.

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
