    Plenty of mediocre content that goes stale quickly. Prioritizes quantity over quality. It's also a live service (online only/aka subscription) which limits playability and the provider (Blizzard) has not yet added any quality content. Crashes regularly on console. If a streaming service constantly crashes and has no interesting content you cancel the subscription.

    Where to begin? I’ve been invested and have all the Diablo games from my childhood to D3. Diablo 4 is by far the worse game in the series.

    I leveled a sorceress from 1-100 the first 50 levels were ok but after 50 their really is nothing that keeps you interested or gives you gratification to continue to play. I created a Rouge for Season 1 leveled it to level 23 and deleted it I can’t    Where to begin? I’ve been invested and have all the Diablo games from my childhood to D3.     Uber uniqueness (you know the 6 ultra rares) that have an impossible chance of dropping are discouraging. I really want to like this game I bough the ultimate addition.

    The collectors addition doesn’t even include the game it’s a money grab. Maybe by season 10 (like 5 years away) it might be good but I just can’t continue to play this dull and uninspiring title so disappointing.

    I had my doubts and really wish I didn’t pay the $134 Canadian for a second grade product. The collectors addition is a money grab by the developers it does not come with the game it’s sold separately and it’s too expensive.

    1.1 patch was to force people to start over and buy the battle pass...It's all about money...Not the player base.. They don't care about you...they only care about your time spent to show investors.     After thirty years of developing Diablo games, Blizzard forgot every important lesson about how to make these games fun. Items are boring, the map is just an endless slog, movement is slow, the game is both always-on and completely empty, you can't trade items, your bags get full, skills are boring, etc.

    I can't understand why they didn't bring a single QOL feature from the last decade's worth of Diablo 3! Early in 3, items were boring, builds were bland, crafting materials used too much space, etc. But after some major rework - items were fun, builds were unique, crafting materials use very little space, etc. And when Diablo 4 launches - why did they make their items boring, their builds bland, their crafting materials use too much space? Why can't they play their own games and try to include the "fun" from them?

    The developers and engineers at Blizzard Games have repeatedly ignored the opinions of gamers, resulting in a new game, Diablo 4, with a drastically reduced level of freedom and an extremely poor gameplay experience! The latest patch update is even more unacceptable to me! I demand a refund from Blizzard Games!

    Post-Season 1 update: It's somehow become even slower and more tedious. Please avoid this at all costs.

    I found myself being angry at waiting for NPCs to stop talking more than I was enjoying the kill things -> loot -> kill more things gameplay loop. It's not a bad game by any means, but feels more like a Diablo 2 reskin of World of Warcraft than anything.     They ruined the game with their latest patch. They also want us to restart the game every three months?? Man no one has the time for that. Seasons suck. But really I could have forgiven all of that. But they nerfed my sorc so hard I stopped playing. Even with the sunk cost fallacy of buying the ultimate edition.

Then Diablo 3 came out not bad. Then. This. Good until this patch.     Absolutely terrible game. Loot sucks. Repetitive as all hell. No thought put in to it what so ever to try and make it decent. Do NOT waste your money.

    There seems to be no trace of consideration for what makes the users enjoy the game.

    It is unpleasant to sense a focus on what will inconvenience the users and create unnecessarily long playtimes.

    더이상 사줄 사람이 없다는 걸 인지한 운영진은 개좆같이 운영중. 쓰레기만도 못한 상점 스킨들, 사줄지 안사줄지도 모르는 시즌패스에 매출을 기대하는것 보단 개좆같이 운영해서 최대한의 유저를 접게 만들어 서버비를 아끼려고 하고 있음.    역대 최악의 블리자드 게임.

    Cons: -Blizzard is purposefully creating a problem with inventory space to sell a solution later -Camera is too zoomed in -Character creator is terrible, worse than Diablo immortal for some reason -End game revolves around the same dungeon loop -Itemization is really stupid/bad affixes -Stats are bad, Resistances do nothing -no loot filter -Cant give items    Pros: Lillith is cool

    -no social systems even though marketed as mmo-lite
    -The Illusion of Choice - You get to pick 6 abilities except not really because each class has 2-3 abilities that are a must for all builds plus an ult. have fun choosing your two abilities barb players.
    -Dev Team wont fix problems in the game because season 1 was shipped, then proceeded to nerf every single class as well as exp. gained

    False Cons: Not pros but not cons
    -Scaling levels with enemies - Seems like a bad idea but not that bad when you hit end game as content becomes static for NM dungeons and other events
    -Simplicity- Builds look cookie cutter and they are but the paragon board post 50 adds a decent amount of complexity to builds

    Overall: Give this game 2 years and it might be good. In its current state, it is only fun for the campaign and falls off hard after. theory crafting builds is not fun due to itemization and lack of balancing from the devs.
    If you like games like diablo 4, I would recommend Path of Exile, Last Epoch, Grim Dawn, Torch Light 2, or even the previous diablo games over d4. This game needs a lot more Quality of Life, more content, and more classes    … Expand

    That's terrible..
    I'm an old fan who has been enjoying the Diablo series since 2000.
    There is a lack of content to enjoy than games under 10 dollars that are over 10 years old.
    You bought this game at this price, and it's like you used the garbage thrown by Blizzard on the flip side while passing through the street.

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
