    Another big AAA release in 2021… and ANOTHER HUGE DUMPSTER FIRE. Terrible performance, politically correct inclusions, awful maps, questionable servers. I genuinely can’t think of anything good to say about this game, I know some people enjoy BF portal but all that did for me was help illustrate just how bad modern BF is compared to even BF4.

    I have been enjoying the game on my PS5 yes there have been bugs but luckily for me I have only had minor bugs. I am aware that some people are having a far worse experience than me.

    BF3 remains the last good BF release. Since its part of the Portal mode, its also the best part of this game, together with Bad Company 2, but the bad hit detection and overall technical state even destroy this experience. And not only is this a buggy mess, also the design choices are really bad. Specialist destroy the classic BF gameplay. DON'T BUY IT.

    AoW - я искренне надеюсь, что этот режим загнется и забросится. Серии батлфилд не нужны какие то координальные изменения. Делайте нормальные ИНТЕРЕСНЫЕ карты, нормальный ТТК и баланс Ну куда нахрен в AoW такие пустыри? ну? Зачем растягивать экшн? Зачем специалисты? Чтобы на корню убить идею командной игры?     Игра великолепна, как по мне. Единственный недостаток - слишком большие карты в 2042, а так всё отлично, учитывая то, что она будет допиливаться

    2) There is no server list, you are forced to play on the maps on which you were thrown. In portal you can join an almost finished game, and in the main all-out warfare mode you sometimes wait for the server to fill up.

    4) I am glad that in all modes there is a store tab, otherwise I was afraid not to find it (just kidding).
    5) Huge TTK, it is impossible to shoot two people, they overwhelm the mass.
    6) Too long pumping, you need to kill 360 people in order to open all the modules for weapons, moreover, it became more difficult to kill people due to the large mode, earlier it was possible to fill in the superiority and clash of teams. The task for the skill skin (red-black skin) is unrealistic, you need to kill 1200 people with grenades or treat 2400 people with a Falki pistol.
    7) Huge maps, you need to run 1 km to get to another point (in the next sector)
    8) There is no pumping on the servers in the portal, the level is pumped only in the recommended section.

    2) Нет списка серверов, ты вынужден играть на картах, на которые тебя закинули. В portal можешь присоединиться к почти законченной игре, а в основном режиме all-out warfare иногда ждешь, когда заполнится сервер.
    3) Нет таблицы чтобы посмотреть убийства/смерти/пинг других игроков, в лучшем случае можешь посчитать свое KD (можно посмотреть убийства/помощи/захваты игроков своего отряда, либо общую статистику другого отряда, т.е. убрана соревновательность).
    4) Радует, что во всех режимах есть вкладка магазин, а то боялся не найти (шутка).
    5) Огромный TTK, невозможно перестрелять двух человек, они перелавливают массой.
    6) Слишком долгая прокачка, нужно убить 360 человек, чтобы отрыть все модули на оружие, притом убивать людей стало сложнее из-за большого режима, раньше можно было набить в превосходстве и схватке команд. Задание на скин мастерства (красно-черный скин) выполнить нереально, нужно убить 1200 человек с гранат или полечить 2400 человек с пистолета Фальки.
    7) Огромные карты, нужно бежать 1 км, чтобы добраться до другой точки (в следующем секторе)
    8) Отсутствует прокачка на серверах в portal, прокачивается уровень только в разделе рекомендуемое.    … Expand

    With a lot of the core battlefield mechanics lacking from my gameplay experience over the weekend. I have to give this a 4. I think visually the game is stunning, looks amazing. But the overall battlefield experience is just not there. Feels a lot more like a arcade shooter then a battlefield game.

    A major drop in quality. Has none of the soul or emotion usually associated with a BF game. This feels like a cartoon battle royal clone aimed at 7-12 year olds who want to spend mums cash on player skins.

Играю и получаю удовольствие от нового опыта и совершенно новой батлы. Ребят, не слушайте душнил, которые гонят на игру. Лучше зайдите на стрим какого-нибудь блогера, который стримит с ps5 и убедитесь во всем сами8 часов в игре на playstation 5 — fps стабилен, вылетов нет.     Игра зашла. Брал ультимэйт эдишн на ps5. Хз почему бомбят рейтинг. Зашел и режим портал и основной. В хазард зону не играл, поскольку нет пачки

Weapons have a lot of recoil, but they also seem to have aim ‘bloom’ where the bullets will literally fire off to the side of where it is actually aiming. Combine all that with the weaknesses of a controller for aiming and weak aim assist and itIt’s very buggy still (expected) but my bigger issue is that is just not that fun to play on console.     Okay so yes there is bugs and there some issues with severs, but even looking past all this there is still something about this game that just doesn’t feel good. Conquest is a boring game mode since it’s too big. Most of the time you are running back forth to objectives to capture and then retracing steps without barely seeing anymore. Breath through is the better game mode but can be crazy with the constant spawn killing and some maps have impossible objectives to capture. Portal is fun but there is no progression which kinda sucks but it’s definitely the best section of the game. Haven’t even tried the battle royale stuff but I heard it’s not worth the time. I wish I would have done the trial instead of cashing out $100 to play early for a game I’ll probably get over before the actual launch date on the 19th. This game needs updates and help fast… Expand

Some would maybe hope for an evolution in the immersive movement from Battlefield V going to the next level. Moments like being knocked to the ground    Battlefield 2042 is something new, something unexpected and most of all a waste of money.

    What could we expect from the next Battlefield? Many might have been hoping for that next gen improvement with greater graphic fidelity and sound. Some would maybe hope for an evolution in the immersive movement from Battlefield V going to the next level. Moments like being knocked to the ground from the shockwave of a nearby explosion, or the traversal of the environment reaching for high ledges in the rubble of some blown out building.

    But what did we end up getting?

    None of the above.

    Battlefield 2042 lacks any soul. It takes many steps back on the series previous improvement and adds things no one wanted.

    Maps are too large and have many empty areas. Great if you are looking to run for 5 minutes at the beginning of the match to the objective. No cover, nothing of interest. The maps also feel empty and are devoid of any story of war and or the life that was there before.

    The new specialists seem like they were meant for a battle royale game. Was that what this game was going to be? They just don’t work well in the game and matches devolve into people not waiting to be revived because whose the medic?

    Right now the aiming and bullet spread is really off. Ever wanted to drop into the battlefield and outline the enemy with bullets? Well you can do that in BF2042.

    The sound design doesn’t represent Dice’s best. I have always loved the sound design and putting the War Tapes sound on. This just sounds lacklustre.

    The weapon selection is lacking in the main mode. The promise of a ton of weapons is within portal.

    Portal is cool and could have potential especially if gets greatly expanded. However when the best of your game is playing old maps with new polish, than what does that say about 2042?

    Hazard Zone ain’t that fun and needs many changes and better design to be more interesting. Not to mention it should be the one mode that maybe gets free to play… yes call of duties warzone has its issues but that game has a ton of players. Hazard zone is looking to be BFV’s battle royale mode that was DOA.

    I can’t recommend this game. It’s disappointing and shouldn’t be released like an early access game. People who love these games will give it a pass because yes there can be fun to had. But letting Dice rest on what came before shouldn’t be allowed it’s not good for the consumer.

    We need someone new to innovate. A lot of these new games are broken messes at launch and aren’t offering any real innovation and excitement. We can’t all just blame the pandemic, these games take years and these poor decisions didn’t happen in the last year and a half. Save your money and support better games that respect you and give you something new. We expected something new and exciting and got well something new, boring and broken.    … Expand

    This really has a very very good battlefield game in it, but you simply can not release a game in this state. It is almost unplayable which is sad because its clear its a very good game. My score is a protest against the developers for releasing the game thats is hardly even a functional game at all but im sure it will be great in the future. As of now you should avoid it like the plague.

    Currently lvl 22 and im loving it. The game definitely has a a lot of bugs that needs to be adressed, and some fixes like adding a scoreboard and fixing bullet spread. it’s the only reason I didn’t give it an 8. Most people just hate on the game because they don’t like change. The game runs great on ps5 btw. Except for a couple of spawn bugs that I’ve encountered.

    It's really bad, I would have a difficult time purposely making a worse battlefield game. In my view they took everything that made battlefield a unique and special franchise and totally destroyed it. As longtime fans of the series, my group and I feel overwhelming disappointment.

    Save your money this is one of the worst games to ever be released. Portal is okay and Hazard Zone won't last another month. Performance is atrocious on Ps5 have Uninstalled multiple to times and still receive constant CE-1088 error/game crash (the game leaks memory like crazy because the game isn't coded properly) in conclusion this game is a dumpster fore.... hot garbage.

Every objective has players attacking and defending at pretty much all time, and the high player count results in so many epic moments. It’s awesome seeing the frontlines form and having 20 v 20 battles across lines in multiple places on the map at the same time.

    So awesome    I’m completely hooked. This is the most fun I’ve had with a multiplayer game in ages. The battles are epic. It’s awesome seeing the frontlines form and having 20 v 20 battles across lines in multiple places on the map at the same time.

    So awesome seeing 20+ enemies charging an objective and trying to hold them back with your squad. Explosions ripping in the background as a plane crashes nearby and the heavy armor comes rolling in. This game is the a game trailer factory line, with high intensity battles going on nonstop.

    I love flying the transport in and changing the tide of battle as my teammates spawn in on a flank and take a key objective. There’s really nothing like this game, an absolutely top notch experience.    … Expand

The HUD is crowded, the objectives for every point is seen on your screen the name of teammates and their healthbars crowd the screen as well. Good luck seeing the enemy through how much is on your screen. It'll kick you to the home screen andThis game is so bad that I made an account to say how bad it is.     this is no longer the Battlefield series! a game released with a small amount of weapons, and a lot of bugs! maybe next year it will be worth buying, but now you have to be naive!

Genellikle herkesi RPG kullanmaya iten bir sistem olduğundan artık Class'ların hiç bir manası kalmıyor. Mermi ya da medic kullanan bir kişiye denk gelirseniz teşekkür edin çünkü oldukça az göreceksiniz. Freeloadout hem ekipmanları hem de her türlü silahı kullanma imkanı sunduğundan artık rakibin class'ının ne olduğunu bile tahmin edemiyorsunuz. Eskiden rakip sniper bize ateş ettiğinde bir şekilde üzerine baskı kurarak ona yaklaşmaya ve onu etkisiz hale nasıl getirebileceğimiz konusunda stratejiler kurardık fakat şimdi artık sniper kullanan bir oyuncu gördüğünüzde, ona ulaşmak istediğinizde o bir "Assault" olduğu için Grapling Hook ile kaçabilecek ya da "Support" ise sizi, size ateş eden bir turret karşılayacak. Kısacası buna benzer bir türlü rezalet senaryolarla karşılaşmaya hazır olun çünkü çoğunlukla bunları yaşayacaksınız. Şimdilik deployable shield kullanan Sniper'lar çoğunlukta :D
    Hikaye modu bulunmuyor. Girer girmez oyun sizi ekstra sıkıcı The division vari bir intro karşılıyor sadece. Botların bana mermi atmasını dilerdim fakat o da olmadı.. Mermisiz bir şekilde tamamladım tutorialı.

    Battlefield 1 gibi muazzam bir işten sonra oyuna hikaye eklemeyip, yeni jenerasyon bir oynanış da sunmakları için EA bu oyun için 70$ ya da 80€ ödemenizi istiyor. Bu da yetmezmiş gibi bir de Season Pass almanız şart bazı Portal haritalarını oynayabilmeniz için. Bu tarz para göz firmaları desteklemeyin. PS5 kullanıcıları için dualsense özellikleri oyuna eklenmemiş. İnsan bir adaptive trigger ekler yahu ne hakla PS5 versiyonu diye satıyorsunuz? Zaten gram vuruş hissi yok en azından belki adaptive trigger bir tık bunu sağlayabilirdi. Bir tık diyorum çünkü bu konuda oyun çok kötü. Son iki Cod oyunlarında dualsense özellikleri çok güzel bir şekilde kullanılmış, hayranı olmasam bile serinin bu konuda adamlara helal olsun derim. Görsel olarak oyun asla tatmin etmiyor, yeni nesil bir oyun değil. Orbiral haritasında roketin fırlatılması, ara sıra hortumun gelip dolaşması, kum fırtınası çıkmasına uğraştığınız emeği oturup biraz oyunun ana hatları üzerinde çalışsaydınız.. Optimizasyon & lag sorunları çok fazla. Savaş atmosferi neredeyse hiç yok. Haritalar o kadar büyük ki oyunda yaptığınız tek şey koşmak olacak. Death Stranding o kadar eleştirildi walking simulator diye madem öyle al bu oyun da running simulator.. Seneler önce çıkan BF 1'in çok daha iyi bir savaş atmosferi olduğu gibi grafiksel olarak da oldukça etkileyiciydi, kaplamaları dinamik hava değişimi çok güzeldi. BF1 bu konuda 2042'den halen çok iyi. BF1'i 7.1 kulaklıkla oynarken, o silahları kullanırken, sağda solda bitmek bilmeyen patlamalar olup duruyorken inanılmaz heyecanlanmıştım oynarken halen daha oynanır. Her silahın kendine özel tepkimesi, sesi ve vuruş hissi vardı. Bu oyunda nedense yapay sesler kullanılmış. Bu sebepten ötürü, silahların neredeyse hiç sekmemesi(warzone a özenilmiş burada ve time to kill süresinde de) vuruş hissiyatını neredeyse hiç vermiyor. Merak ettiğim bir konu var gerçekten. Siz 3 seneden beri ne yaptınız ? 3 senelik bir ürün bu kadar leş olmamalıydı. 3 senede geliştirilen oyunları da iyi biliyoruz. Sanat eseri gibi oyunlar yapılıyor bu süreçte.
    Tüm bu analizleri bir Bf hayranı olarak yaptım bu arada. Cod oyunlarını pek oynamam tarzım değildir fakat denemişliğim var. 2042'de konsept ve vizyon da kesinlikle bana değil. Ben görev yapmasını, squad&takım oyunu oynamasını, strateji kurmasını seven bir bf oyuncusuyum. Eski oyunları seven bir adamın bu oyunu sevmesinin mümkünatı yok. Çünkü ortada elle tutulur bir BATTLEFIELD oyunu yok. Önceden yenilen takıma destekte bulunurdu oyun. Conquest modunda alınan bayrağın önemi vardı. Takıma tank ya da uçak sağlıyordu ekstra. Oyun çok daha stratejikti. Şimdi ondan öte birşey kalmamış. Bu oyuna 2 puan bile fazla. PS5 üzerinden ön siparişimi iptal ettim. Ne zaman EA Access e gelir belki o zaman açıp bir oynarım. 30-40$ 'a satılması gereken bir oyuna asla 70$ para veremem. Çünkü bunu hak eden bir oyun değil.    … Expand

    No reasonable scoreboard (in competitive mplayer game!!!). Poor map design. Guns with no kinetic power. Visuals good only from a distance. Poor customization and soldiers design. No war climate. No reason to play this scum. Applaing for a refund.

    I can see why a lot of people are writing negative about it. Its not that I don't see the problems, but im im still having a blast playing BF2042 and I don't think that there is something fundamentally wrong with it, there is just a lot more dev time needed and lots of fixes. Should be a great BF experience further down the road in my opinion.

You can’t see who needs a revive. The interface is messy. Only long ranged weapons are viable due to the size of the maps.     Game doesn't have a campaign. You know when you are buying the game for 80€. But at least you are expecting some narrative, and its there .. for 2 minutes cinematic intro, than its gone. You are starting to game and your mission is push back either US troops or Russia Troops. Also musics are very bad unfortunately. Round Ending themes are way too forgettable. Listened all of the tracks even main theme is not good.

    Tried Hazard Zone and Portal as well but unfortunately at the moment they are not promising.

    I would suggest if you aren't big Battlefield fan, just wait for the Season 1 of this game which will release on Q1 of 2022. Because Battlefield 2042 doesn't worth the 80€. Just Wait for Discount on Q1 of 2022 or wait more for this game to come EA Acces.    … Expand

    Portal alone is a dream. It needs a little more polish but it runs pretty smooth with almost no bugs on PS5 already, just a few glitches here and there. Best launch I remember of a Battlefield.

    - horrible controls (worst to date from all console fps I played last 3-4 years) and gunplay
    - lack of weapons
    - idiotic specialist system
    - map design is bad
    - cringe after-game scenes
    And that's just a small part of it.

    I have Sat here for the last hour reading through official and user reviews to see what everyone is saying and essentially what i am seeing is people overreacting about how bad Battlefield 2042 is. Bear in mind this game is new and is early access. Every game launches with questionable bugs, glitches, exploits you get the point. Okay there isn't enough gamemodes. I agree, the basic game will get truly repetitive after a long time, agreed. Hazard Zone is a good concept executed badly, could possibly be redeemed but they need to focus on redemption at this moment in time. They need to look at the bad reviews and see what people are consistently complaining about as if you fix/add things people are complaining about to the point where you have covered everything there won't be anything further to complain about.

    My personal opinion on the game is I think its a step down the right path. But the next couple months are crucial to the games success. Its enjoyable, yes but I can see the content lacking very soon. But I think people need to cut them some slack and not one overly critical of the situation as I think its becoming worse the is actually is    … Expand

If you're a longtime "veteran" of the franchise (talking refractor engine days, BF2 for example) you'll come to appreciate the massive sense of scale that was missing from the series is back. If you're a longtime "veteran" of the franchise (talking refractor engine days, BF2 for example) you'll come to appreciate the massive sense of scale that was missing from the series is back. You can't just run to every single objective on the map and zerg, you're expected to use vehicles and actually defend captured points! The days of solocapping flags with no interference are gone! 128 players makes for some wild action movie gameplay moments that was simply not possible with 64 players. I thought the tornado was just another gimmick like Levolution in BF4 but it's dynamic in it's path and rare to see, adding to the visual presentation of the game. Destruction is on par with BFV and is visually superior in some cases. Smoke effects especially on the rocket launch are breathtaking. All the bar pushing visuals you'd expect from a frostbite Battlefield are present. Hazard Zone is a nice take on a tarkov like mode but it needs more meat, there is potential there. Portal is the love letter to fans that dice claimed it would be, I just hope it gets continued support and we get to see more refractor games in the mix. MEC remastered? DICE plz. There are gameplay concerns in this early stage, specialists don't seem as bad as people made it out to be but I'm unsure of where the meta will go as more are added. Will every specialist remain useful in time? The weapon count in the AOW mode is unfortunately low for my liking. Don't necessarily need BF4s reskined guns with the same stats but a few more weapons with actual variety would be helpful. The plus system is also a nice spin on customization but it's somewhat clunky at the moment. Then there's things like supposed sbmm, the lack of a scoreboard, weird weapon spread when moving, or no server browser on AOW etc. These are things that need to be addressed immediately for the long-term health of the game. I don't agree with many other reviews or opinions you may see where they think these things will plummet the game into oblivion, there's just too many positives weighing those issues down. This isn't a BF4 catastrophe, lawsuit filing level launch, not even close to that and anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant or wasn't around back then. I truly believe when the dust settles and more meat is added this game will at the very least surpass BF4.… Expand

    Probably the best FPS game of the decade, epic scale battles with beautiful graphics, optimization isn't great but this will probably be fixed after launch, and this is the game's review, not the review of it's launch.

Now the COD series has superior movement and feel and Battlefield doesn't have its special touch. Hopefully, they will see their errors in the future. I got a refund on the game.     While the repetition and lack of content cooled my enthusiasm a bit, I am excited to see where DICE can take Battlefield 2042 from here — if current industry trends hold, I’m confident this will be a strong addition to my already-full shooter rotation after a few months of additions and updates.
