    Created an account just to review this game. It's an unplayable mess. It's criminal to release a video game in such a poor state and charge people upwards of £70 for it, how these huge companies are getting away with this baffles me. Bugs and technical issues aside, it's not a Battlefield game. DICE clearly don't care about their fanbase and have created a platform for monetization. TheCreated an account just to review this game. The game feels soulless.The things we know and love about Battlefield are gone, immersion, amazing sound design, teamplay, destruction etc are nowhere to be found here. The talented developers that gave us the old Battlefield have clearly moved on elsewhere and the franchise is now in the hands of the suits.

    Battlefield was my favourite game but sadly this will be my last and I think this will be the same story for many fans. I will be getting a refund.

    If you are looking for an immersive, tactical fps I highly recommend Hell Let Loose. Support companies like T17/Black Matter who still make games with passion. Vote with your wallet and move away from these big AAA studiis who will rush a product out to get your money as fast as possible.    … Expand

    I'm so disappointed in DICE. They seem to have completely forgotten what made battlefield good. And they have repeatedly not listed to the fan base. The soul has gone. The game is full of gimmicks. The frame rate makes it unplayable even on a high end pc. Even if it did play well, the UI, the level design, the woke stuff - it's an unmitigated embarrassment.

    Battlefield in modern time finally. Battlefield 2042, like everyone else Battlefield titles, started not without problems. This game need some polish, but I am sure that will be fixed. Many of users tell about team play problems, but it depends on the users themselves, doesn't it? After all, the game itself has all the necessary mechanics for this. UI also quite not good to use.     This isn’t Battlefield. No classes, cringy specialists, terrible maps, worse movement than in BF5 and so on. Portal doesn’t save this game for me. I want something new after playing on Caspian Border for 10 years.

    Yet another unfinished game. All of these game company's are happy charging an increased premium price but aren't willing to actually finish making the game. Could have been good.

    A decent game, not quite worthy of the battlefield title. A lot of downgrades since battlefield 5. Would be nice to have a campaign, even a short one. Would like to be able to customize the specialist the specialists face and race and gender like in BFV. I really enjoyed being able to make my own characters in BFV. Not only can you not change the specialists face, but you also cannotA decent game, not quite worthy of the battlefield title. A lot of downgrades since battlefield 5. I really enjoyed being able to make my own characters in BFV. Not only can you not change the specialists face, but you also cannot change their clothes except for a few specialist specific options. Would like to see more streamlined breakthrough maps, maybe an option for smaller 64 player battles. Seemed like the maps in BFV created a more defined “frontline” for break through as you push through objectives. I hope they bring back more defined class systems and combat roles with a set of weapon options specific to each class. I feel like the class system encouraged people to actually fulfill combat roles and play more as a team. Medics actually revived people. The ui is awkward a lot of the times. Switching classes between deaths is strangely time consuming when you used to be able to switch classes really quickly in 5. I would like to be able to see the score board at the end of round and squad stats. You can no longer quick throw grenades with left bumber? If you customize the buttons and select quick throw, you still have to ‘select’ your grenades, and then instead of throwing one, you will automatically toss both grenades because you stay selected to your grenades? Who’s idea was that? Hoping that gets fixed. A lot of little details are gone like seeing your soldier get muddy and bloody or wet depending on the environment. I used to think that was cool in 5. Anyway, decent game, but lots of downgrades from the last installment. Would give 3 stars but it’s extremely glitchy and I often have to drop out of broken matches… Expand

Operators are a big change, one that felt very worrying, but I find myself enjoying playing with them a lot and growing attached to the challenges rerated to each skins and upgrades. Weapon need some balancing for sure and so do the vehicles. Overall, I feel the game isVery rough around the edges and most certainly Won’t please everyone, but the gameplay is on my part very satisfying. Maps feel a bit too big at times, but playing breakthroughs seems to be the ideal for fans of the hardcore battlefield all out moments. There at the time of this writing many bugs and crashes, but never in a overwhelming abundance. I can play for a good 4-5 hours and get 1-2 game breaking problems and maybe 1 crash if I’m unlucky. Overall, this one sits right by me and feels close to what battlefield 4 was. Trying it with a few friends is quite honestly the best way to get a good feel. If you have played the beta, the game sits close to it, but is still distinctly enough to feel like a good overhaul.
    Best advice I can give is either get it right now or wait a few weeks/months for all the problems and balancing to be fixed and for them to announce the roadmap.    … Expand

    I’ve enjoyed every Battlefield I’ve played up to this point, but this doesn’t even come close to those games in any way. It’s so obvious that everyone that made those games great have left the studio, and the result is a deeply mediocre game that barely feels like Battlefield at all. Yes, it has a lot of players, big maps and vehicles, but where’s the rest of it? Where’s the amazingly effortless and rewarding squad and team play of previous entries? Where’s the authenticity and immersion? This series is supposed to be about being a regular soldier, but now we’re playing as these ridiculous hero characters constantly spouting stupid one-liners and wing-suiting around. Battlefield was never exactly realistic, but it always tried to be authentic. BFV might have had some lame cosmetics, but everything else has such a raw intensity to it. This feels completely airless with barely any war feel to it at all. There aren’t even identifiable factions, because selling cosmetics is the only thing that matters now, apparently.

    It’s not even engaging in its own merits as the gunplay is incredibly inaccurate, unskillful and unbalanced. Maps play terribly and don’t even look good most of the time. The player count combined with the wide open, badly designed maps and weird abilities makes the game either chaotic to the point of incoherence or just boring as you trek through vast, empty landscapes. There’s some amount of fun to be had in the chaos, but chaos does not make a good game on its own. The whole thing just seems really sloppily designed, regardless of any series standards. On its own it would be below average. As a Battlefield game it’s laughable.

    Portal is ok, but it can’t save this game alone. Smaller, **** versions of games I love and custom modes won’t make me accept this absolute travesty of a sequel. It mostly serves to show how far the series has fallen.

    I could go on and on about this game’s shortcomings and many have. My main takeaway is that while many previous Battlefield games may have been buggy or lacking in content at launch, this the first one where I don’t see any potential in it. Everything about this game, from its smallest aspects to its grandest ideas are mediocre at best, and no amount of patching is gonna fix that.    … Expand

Attachments are not a fun grind to go for. Camos are okay, in fact I dont mind them. But attachments that are miss represented by their descriptions and tedious grinds to progress? yuck
    I dont care if there are 10 different assault rifles and most people only use one of them the joy is in the progression and unlocking something and hey, some days you might want to use something else and not just the "meta"
    Maps are fine but the lack of gamemodes is pathetic. No tdm even? or rush?

    To those who say "just play portal" use a pathetic cop out of an excuse to hide the fact the base game which is what we mostly pay for not a gimmick side mode is extremely lacking and I haven't even touched on the bugs...

    The UI is horrendous just watch a video. Changing specialist and guns should be easy but it just has unnecessary hoops to go through.

For instance, you may be shooting an enemy and get three hit markers, but the enemy kills you and from their health you can see that only on of the hits counted as damage. The hit registration alone is all the reason anyone needs to realize this game is not worth the money. An argument against this is that it is a bug that will eventually get fixed. However, the hit registration issues in BF4 were never completely resolved, and that is likely the case with BF2042.… Expand

    I have been playing battlefield games since bad company 1. I was hoping this game would bring that love a team play from the old one but no a big dissapointment all around. Im still trying to play this game everyday but i fell in a month this will be dead. Additionally there is a minimum of structures that can get destroyed. Icebergs don't have a scratch after you shoot with a tank on them, a jet could fly into a skyscraper...nothing. It must've been too much effort to put destructible buildings on the maps. So what they did was put no buildings on the map, just open fields, barely any levels in which between you can fight on. Sometimes you have a single bridge you can go on. The amount of weapons you can play is ridiculous, the specialist's equipment doesn't require any teamplay anymore, players just use hovercrafts to kill any players on open field maps like a vacuum sucking up ants. Recently I wasn't able to play when using Lan. For some reason it always kicked me out before it started and gave me an unknown error. Using WiFi worked until now. I played until level 16. Now I can't play anymore because of an persistent data error message. So basically paid 100€ to play two days in a **** game that I can't keep playing. The error message could as well say: "Hey, our game sucks so much, we're doing you a favor. We still keep your money, Fu** off!"

    This is definitely on one level with Cyberpunk and should be refunded by EA. I hope other players will also raise their voices.    … Expand

A jogabilidade eu, particularmente, gostei também, mas com certeza pode melhorar. A tempestade também é um ponto positivo. Contudo, falando dos que eles(JOGO NO PS5) Peguei o acesso antecipado do jogo, logo eu tenho propriedade para escrever o que eu penso sobre. Bom, a começar pelos gráficos, introdução das partidas, que foi baseada no COD, são pontos que eu considero muito bons do jogo. A jogabilidade eu, particularmente, gostei também, mas com certeza pode melhorar. A tempestade também é um ponto positivo. Contudo, falando dos que eles podem melhorar, o servidor está bastante instável nesses dias. Existem momentos que eu consigo entrar, outros que não. Durante a partida, existe presença de lags ou pequenos travamentos, o que dificulta mais ainda o rendimento do jogador em uma partida que já é muito difícil por conta do crossplay. Os setores do mapa, em que os jogadores precisam conquistar as duas partes pra ter o setor específico completamente dominado, achei que está em tamanhos ideais para a quantidade de jogadores disponíveis, porém os próprios mapas são MUITO GRANDES pra uma quantidade de 128 players. Você muitas vezes anda pra caramba até se deparar com adversários. Caberia mais jogadores sem dúvidas, porém não sei se será possível. Quanto ao menu, existem coisas a serem corrigidas sim. Um exemplo: os servidores das partidas do modo conquista. Tem gente que prefere optar por procurar partidas disponíveis no servidor Br, dos EUA e etc. Para não me prolongar muito, Battefield 2042 é um jogo bom, mas pode melhorar e muito para chegar em seu estágio ideal. Muitos erros precisam ser corrigidos. Minha nota é 7. Antes que me detonem, eu também não gostei de jogar com PC. Agora pensando a longo prazo, vai demorar para o jogo morgar e ficar com servidor mais escasso de players. Agora.. sei lá.. era melhor ter uma opção de não jogar com PC mesmo. Fica bem desbalanceado. Bastava Xbox com PS e pronto. Poderia colocar com PC também pra quem quisesse. Pelo menos, com PC, o jogo se torna mais difícil ainda, que é a graça, mas ao mesmo tempo fica apelão.     Я так ждал эту игру!!!!! Я не буду играть в нее только потому что это не battlefield а hazard zone, все карты и спецы сделаны под этот НИКОМУ НЕ НУЖНЫЙ режим!!!! Я сомневаюсь что в ea у людей есть мозги, просто 0 из 10

    There's about 2042 problems with this game, but I'll pick just one that is actually ALONE enough to ruin the entire game: the maps. Too big, too barren, too empty. What idiot thought that 128 means the map needs to be 5X the size of Los Santos

    There's other problems like crap UI, crap gunplay, crap hitreg, crap specialists etc. etc. etc.

    I like that Battlefield has modern / semi-futuristic setting again. When the game works it can be quite fun. Every now and then there are these signature Battlefield moments of chaos everywhere. Though I agree specialist system needs more tuning however all the basic Battlefield roles can be covered with specialists and they offer range of gameplay diversity. 3 different gameplay modes areI like that Battlefield has modern / semi-futuristic setting again. When the game works it can be quite fun. Every now and then there are these signature Battlefield moments of chaos everywhere. Though I agree specialist system needs more tuning however all the basic Battlefield roles can be covered with specialists and they offer range of gameplay diversity. 3 different gameplay modes are also welcome because everyone can find something that they might enjoy or switch around from time to time if they get bored with one mode. If Dice keeps updating Portal with new maps from other Battlefield games, it could become huge success. All out war could also benefit from new content in the future and updates to the existing maps as currently some of them are underwhelming because there is no cover and are not infantry friendly.
    At the time of writing this review, there are multiple major issues that needs to be solved for the game to be great:
    - Fix game breaking bugs (stuck in revive, starting match without possibility to join it, server issues)
    - Fix the rest of the bugs (possibility to clip through walls, driving hovercraft up the side of a building, be marked as an enemy, cannot revive in water or if teammate is blocked by an environment)
    - Shooting mechanics (bullet spread for most weapons, balancing issues)
    - Gun upgrades (some of them have the same effects as other upgrade from the same category)
    - UI problems (no scoreboard, limited ui customization, ui can get too cluttery and obstruct vision, too many menus within menus)
    - No voice chat, no public chat
    - Spotting feels inconsistent
    - map improvements (should fill the large areas without cover to make them infantry friendly)
    - combat improvements (add more ways to deal with enemy vehicles, add more weapons)
    - add more vehicles at the base to avoid running for most of the team to the first flag
    - improve spawning (some spawns cannot be selected on consoles, at the beginning you get auto-spawned on the ground)
    - destruction is underwhelming compared to other Battlefield titles
    - Improve feeling of reward (add military ranks with each level, show damage done to enemies and enemy vehicles (what does "broke a part" even mean?), add "assist count as kill")
    - make the tone of the game consistent (match end screen with specialists saying cheesy line are not consistent in tone with the rest of the game)

    These are just some issues with the game. Battlefield 2042 has huge potential, especially if they continue to update and fix the game for upcoming years without releasing a new one every other year. None of the staples of Battlefield are present, and the game looks more like Battlefront 2 than Battlefield. Say goodbye to the franchise because this is it.     Beautiful game, feels like a Battlefield, to an extent.
    The gunplay is slightly weak, sad there are no generic classes for the primary mode, and some bugs are too bad to ignore.
    I hope a day one patch to smooth most of the persistent issues out. Otherwise, it’s a great game. Games don’t launch without issues, everyone is just mad.

    I have been playing Battlefield since BF2 (2005) and have thoroughly enjoyed this game thus far. While the early game has its fair share of bugs, performance issues, and overall poor design decisions, I think this is still a very good Battlefield. Unfortunately with EA and Dice every Battlefield and Battlefront title seem to suffer greatly from terrible launches. Although this is somethingI have been playing Battlefield since BF2 (2005) and have thoroughly enjoyed this game thus far. They are crazy fast, more health than some armored vehicles si can climb up walls... oh, and have a turret which kills you with minimal effort. The helicopters and planes don't seem to need resupply so they can just spam you with rockets and can trick the guided rockets. But that's ok, because you only have 3 of those rockets and you will need at least two hits to take down one heli. Now you only have 10 left. Not to mention that the PP-29 is the dream. All you need to do is hit the target and they die. The TTK for this weapon is only rivaled by a shotgun. And you get it at level 18 with almost all the attachments you will ever need on it. Munition is almost impossible to find and it is easier to just die and respawn. Anyways it doesn't matter because there is no scoreboard so nobody will see how many times you've died at the end of the game. Only issue with dying is that you'll eventually have to run a marathon to get from on objective to another. The operators don't really feel special at all and their abilities have almost no effect on how the game goes. But I won't go into details here. You cannot chose a map or server and after 3-4 days of playing I've played some maps on repeat and the ones that I actually enjoy barely a few times.… Expand

    Amazing game. Forget about all the haters. I've been playing BF since BF3 on PS3, PS4 and now PS5. The maps are great, operators are a mixed bag (I like them), error free on my PS5.

    Some rubber-banding, but very mild. Again, great game!

    All-Out-Warfare gives us two game modes, Conquest and Breakthrough. Conquest, the maps are too big, empty, and lack any uniqueness. Whenever a battle is taking place at a capture point, there is nothing about that part of the map that makes the battle unique. Battlefield 3, had more uniqueness and variety in capture points on that map that made each battle at each part of the map more interesting. Breakthrough, vehicles dominate the experience.

    Hazard Zone wants to be a battle-royale, but plays similar to a Vigor. The problem is that there is no real direction on onboarding in the experience. Whenever I am going in, the players I am playing with have no idea what to do or where to go. It's not clear on the objective. It feels half-baked and an afterthought.

    Portal is actually not a bad concept, but it feels like older Battlefield games were shoehorned into this new engine. When I play Portal, I am playing Battlefield 2042 with a three different skins. Again, incomplete.

    As a Product Manager, I would prefer that EA would have delayed the game more to deliver on a more-finished product. I also don't feel as if they did customer research to determine what this user base wanted. Looking at other reviews, following social channels, it seems that the community really wanted the Battlefield V gunplay/engine with a newer more modern setting/guns/vehicles, etc. I mean, simple Product activities like prioritizing features and functionality over core gameplay. Why in the world do we have a Tornado, but don't have more than like six building models and layouts?

    EA, do your due diligence. This is a Product org failure, not the engineers, not designers, not the dev-ops team, not marketing... The Product org. See you guys in about a year when the game is finished.    … Expand

It never took me so long to customize my weapons, so many unnecessary steps. The respawn UI is terrible too, I gotta fight with it just to spawn where I want to. Now, the main issues with this game : the lack of diverse weapons, absurd bloom, gimmicky animations and the pathetic specialists. There's barely any weapons in the game, (22 in total, excluding Portal) for example there's only 3 secondaries : one pistol, one revolver, one PDW... This lack of weaponry combined with the fact that everyone looks the same is infuriating, this feels like Clone Wars. Specialists encourage players to build loadouts made to go on solo runs on the map, teamwork doesn't feel rewarding and is therefore very faint, running as a NoPat (which btw is a stupid excuse to sell us Siege-like operators) is heartbreaking when I see US or Russian AI soldiers dressed like proper soldiers... And then there's bloom. Holy Jesus is bloom bad. Follow up shots are damn near impossible to hit, random weapon spray patterns are absolutely stupid too. The animations are bad too : running feels like a mix of CoD and Apex, it's all too quick and snappy. I haven't played Hazard Zone yet so I cannot voice my opinion on it. And then comes Portal. Portal is very fun, a heart warming and nostalgic experience brought up to date with beautiful graphics but troubled by the same terrible UI and audio cues that need to be fixed. Portal has the potential to be the game mode people play the most but as of right now it's too empty to hold that spot seeing as there's only 3 games and :
    - 2 maps for Battlefield 1942
    - 2 maps for Battlefield Bad Company 2
    - 2 maps for Battlefield 3

    Overall, the only time this game has made me smile was when I saw Portal. Since then, I've had the same frustrated, stone cold facial expression every time I tried playing the game. It's a shame too cause the game's got promise but when you compare it to Battlefield 1 which came out 5 years and a full console generation ago, you find it hard to believe the same people are still working on Battlefield. Battlefield 2042 is a graphically beautiful game (even though destruction is very lackluster) but it is plagued, and I do mean PLAGUED by the developers' seemingly uncalled for need to reinvent everything. Here's my advice : if it ain't broke don't fix it ! Infantry movement was at its best in BFV, explosions knocking you back, vaulting, fortifications... Everything looks so stiff now, it's a real shame. We shall now see if the overwhelmingly negative reviews filled, I might add, with constructive criticism will have any effect on the game or if DICE decides to ignore everything and act as if their game is perfect.    … Expand

    My first couple of hours with the game, I did find a little frustrating - but I was trying to play with the BFV meta of rushing with SMGS, but using a DMR and Falck you can start to get used to the scale without dying too often, using zip lines and call in hovercrafts you can get around the massive maps very quickly. Another note - the destruction isn't all that prevalent here, im not sure if this is a design choice or a restriction based on scale.
    I think if your on the fence, in my honest opinion wait until general launch and a couple of patches have come through - and buy with an open mind as to what style of gameplay your looking for. PTFO and work with your squad and the game really works, granted it will be easier when in game chat is fixed. Playing on PS5 ive not been experiencing the number of crashes people have spoken of, maybe 2 in 4 days. So my positive score is with a caveat, that the bugs are addressed in good time, and so far with every other game in the series this has been the case (eventually)    … Expand

    I love the game. Yes there is bugs but they will fix it. Gun play is good. Love the big maps. And snipeing is insane. Cant wait to see more content for this game

    Let me start by saying that I so desperately wanted to love this game. I have been playing Battlefield since 2142 and it is by far my favorite franchise. Below is a list (in no particular order) of broken promises and removed or stepped on features that, if any one of which on their own was missing, broken, or intentionally removed, I could live with. When taken in as a whole, however, it just... I don't know... this doesn't feel like Battlefield.
    **GENERAL**

    * Plus system is clunky dog ****
    * UI is clunky dog **** wrapped in cat **** Might be the least intuitive I've ever seen
    * No Campaign
    * Lack of game modes
    * No hardcore
    * No military ranks associated with numerical ranks
    * Audio is poorly mixed
    * The maps, while stunning from both a scale and visuals perspective, lack any real flow for infantry combat.
    * Non-removable profanity filter
    * Lack of promised destruction/levelution
    * Faction locked weapons and gadgets in Portal
    * No rule editor support for objective based game modes
    * No server browser outside of Portal
    * No private/rented servers
    * Doesn't just roll into the next map after a game in AoW, back to matchmaking peasant
    * Cannot join friends already in a match (pretty sure I could do this in beta??)
    * Cutscenes all over the place
    * Cringe 'look at me' after a match
    * Cannot customize loadouts before joining a game.
    * Cannot select loadout or operator before joining a server which, in certain situations, spawn you directly into the game with whatever you had last game. This happens when joining a fresh breakthrough game, mostly.
    * BFV and Battlefront 2 were gutted to make this **** lol
    * No mouse and keyboard support for console
    * Options and description for kill sounds changed from beta. During beta it showed you would be able to choose between BF2042 and BF1 kill sounds. This same option now only lets you choose between BF2042 sounds or no sounds.
    * No Practice/Test Range
    **IN GAME**

    * Zoom issues with sniper scopes
    * No zeroing sniper scopes, starting scope (not sure about the others) has no hash marks on reticle for references
    * Biggest maps we've ever seen, highest scope magnification is 10x
    * No holding shift/stick click to steady a sniper shot
    * No leaning
    * 22 guns total lol
    * No ‘All’ chat
    * Enemies look the same as friendlies
    * Bullet spread / weapon inaccuracy outside of rock throwing range
    * Have to opt out of revive every death, no idea who can actually revive me anyway
    * Have to re-select spawn location every spawn
    * No resizable minimap
    * Cannot move while prone and ADS
    * Damage dealt numbers, e.g. "VEHICLE HIT 28" after hitting a tank with a rocket, have been removed. This applies to both infantry and vehicles.
    * Weapons can't have different sets of attachments in different loadout presets. Meaning if you want to have a suppressor on the **one** semi-auto pistol in the game for one preset, you can't have it *without* a suppressor in your other presets.
    * No fixed heavy weapons * AA rocket damage appears inconsistent * BF5 movement mechanics removed * Obnoxious voice overs, operators are incredibly vocal, every time you do an action they say a line. * Melee takedown animations have been gutted. All enemies are brought to a standing position before one specific kill is performed. * Cannot dive underwater * UI elements do not have transparency element and distant 2D/3D map markers and UI elements do not fade out by distance and cannot be scaled up or down * Good luck finding your marker on the map **TEAMPLAY/SCORING** * No VoIP * No real scoreboard * No stats page * No commander * Cannot join, create, or lock a squad * Cannot switch teams * Repairing vehicles does not give XP * No squad points for issuing orders or following them * No marksman headshot bonus for long range snipes * 'Assist Counts as Kill' has been removed * No vehicle kill assists * Spotting system is contextual and misses a lot of the time.     Bullet spray is VERY bad. Loadouts are bugged. I have 7 loadouts created and can't use any of them for the last 3 days. It shows no loadouts when I start a game so I get the default BS rifle with no attachments. Maps too big and empty even with 128 on 128 there are long periods of seeing no one. Доходит до абсурда, когда 3!!! попадания в голову из штурмовой винтовки не отправляют противника на респаун. Плюс довольно странный разброс у разного оружия. Пулеметы лупят практически как по рельсам, но у штурмовых винтовок ощущение, что в магазине 50-й калибр, вместо обычных боеприпасов.

    Абсолютно убитый режим "Прорыв". Та же проблема, что и в "Захвате" - огромные, просто нереальных размеров, карты, на которых попросту пехота не успевает перемещаться от точки к точке. Гораздо выгоднее заиметь транспорт и быстро перемещаться между точками, чтобы поскорее закончить матч.

    "Hazard Zone" - эдакий симбиоз Apex Legends и "Побега из Таркова". Вы в составе отряда из 4 человек охотитесь за несколькими жесткими дисками, попутно отстреливая ботов и живых противников из соседних отрядов. Вот тут то и пригождаются огромные карты, предлагая множество локальных столкновений на большой карте. Беда только одна - нужен сыгранный стак игроков. В противном случае вы просто замучаетесь сидеть на экране "Наблюдателя" за последним выжившим игроком. Очевидно, что в этом году именно на этот режим рассчитывали DICE и готовили Battlefield 2042 исключительно под Hazard Zone.

    Единственной надеждой ветеранов станет режим "Portal", который тоже не без косяков. Кратко - это привычный многим геймплей на картах из прошлых игр Battlefield. С абсолютно теми же правилами, набором оружия, техники и т.п. Грубо говоря - это Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, тройка и четверка на новом движке. НО! На текущий момент (16 ноября 2021) невозможно создать полностью кастомные подборки карт. В "Штурм" невозможно играть на сервере со 128 людьми потому что: А) их не наберется; Б) 75 очков подкреплений (а их пока нельзя настроить) сгорают за одну атаку. И матч длится, самое долгое, 5 минут.

    Наверное, режим "Portal" будет самым долгоиграющим среди большинства игроков. После "восторженной" волны стримеров, которые, естественное, будут боготворить Hazard Zone, а через неделю уйдут обратно в "Тарков" и "Warzone", настоящим поклонникам игры останется маленький огрызок в виде "Portal'a", за который они отдадут, как минимум 5,5 тысяч рублей. Ну и периодически поигрывать в "Захват" ради практики на различной технике.
    И, кстати, в игре нет сюжетной кампании или кооперативных миссий. За 5,5 тысяч рублей.    … Expand

Some of the worst ux/ui I've seen from a triple a. Literally two modes for the "main" game. Hazard zone is a poor attempt at a tarkov-esque, "high stakes" mode that has zero stakes at all and is not worth playing. Next to no destruction for a battlefield game. Extremely cringe worthy voicelines at the end of rounds. Pointless screens that are not needed, like 4 or 5 different screens before you've loaded into a match. Not even mentioning they've removed even some of the most basic features they've had in previous games like a normal scoreboard, voice chat, changing squads and more. Stupid things that have been completely overlooked but can be found by a player in seconds. Example: switching buttons to alternate, crouch on RS, you can no longer use the magazines on the plus system because you just melee instead which closes the plus system. Also using a hybrid scope with alternate buttons means you'll be crouching/ standing up everytime you aim and swap zoom. Plus a whole myriad of issues and simply baffling design decisions that I'm forgetting. Portal may be the only saving grace about this but even so it has its own issues. Everything just seems so soulless with so many bad design choices. I remember back in February this year they released a statement saying they were "way ahead of schedule"... yet it was delayed a month and still releases in this state. It's just genuinely disappointing and not up to the standard we want, but possibly the standard we should now come to expect from dice. Please just save yourself the trouble and wasted money.… Expand

    Best battlefield launch to date. There are some bugs here and there but nothing too game breaking. People complain about the specialist system without ever playing the game. Overall I am having a blast with this game. Would buy again

    Omg the graphics on this game is unreal. The gunplay and overall smoothness of this game is awesome, and I really like the hazard zone and the different specialists that you can chose from. PlayStation 4 players are missing out on these graphics.     I don't get all the hate for this game. I disliked the beta due to the amount of bugs and orbital is the worst map in the game. The rest of the game is so much better. Yes there are bugs, but this game is far from being Cyberpunk. The core of 2042 is fun, All-Out warfare is easily better than anything BF4 has to offer.     This game is so frustrating. Vehicles are completely overpowering which makes it no fun to play. The aiming and recoil control is ridiculous. I don’t even want to turn it back on. Dice needs to quit trying to re-invent this franchise instead of replicating what made the olds one great. I’m pissed that I spent $100 on the gold edition of this game.

    On Playstation 5 Battlefield 2042 is running extremely well, no frame drops, no big server problems. I'm currently sitting at 15 hours of gametime and the only bugs I've run into are one that doesn't allow me to revive allies, and one were being downed doesn't show the "hold to respawn" option. The game looks amazing, and is a vast improvement from both the Tech test, and the Beta.

They removed teamplay and destruction...portal is a great idea but since it is not the main game, there will be not enough playerbase for many modes...Hazard is also fun but there is almost nothing to lose to make it great such as tarkov or hunt:showdown

    I am a Battlefield Gamer since Battlefield Vietnam. Played 1942 but was too young to really get into it. So I played Vietnam, Battlefield 2, 2142, Bad Company 1 and 2, 3, 4, V and now... This. It is not a Battlefield. It is so bad I don't know where too start. The sound is awfull. The map design atrocious. There are so many things missing that made Battlefield such a unique experience. .

Inimigos que estão no centro da sua mira, você atira e o tiro não pega neles. O hitbox desse jogo ta uma merda. Personagens que você vê de longe parecem estar deslizando pelo mapa, não correndo.. muitas coisas que poderiamos colocar aqui. Parece que ninguém testou o jogo antes de lançar..

    Terrible game full of bugs and glitches and has BF5 engine. And all the maps are too bright and colourful and doesn’t feel like a world at war war game at all. This game can get very boring since it feels like a running field simulator because the Maps needs more players added to it. There’s no kill steaks like Call of Duty. The maps are god awful, it's super glitchy, the graphics are complete crap compared to prior entries in the series (hey guys, throwing in as much HDR in as possible to distract from the lazy textures is not a winning formula). This game is in such a bad shape EA should be sued for false advertising. This game in its current state should be called a Beta. They won’t be able to fix the game for another 6-12 months and it should be removed from the PlayStation store until then. I recommend everyone to wait for this game to be fixed and buy on sale. I have requested a refund and recommend anyone that has paid for this to get a refund and wait 6-12 months. EA Needs to learn to stop releasing half a game and charging full price.… Expand

    Besides the expected server errors at launch, Battlefield 2042 has been a great experience for me this weekend. Some of the guns need adjusted, especially the Assault Rifles needing buffed a little, but other than that it's been great. Playing with modern day soldiers and weapons on battlefields of the past and some of the created games in portal have been awesome. on battlefields

    The core problems are:
    - balance of guns - no scoreboard - obvious bugs (although there’s way less of them then at the release of BF1 and BFV) People complaining about graphics must be blind, that’s all I’m gonna say about that. Overall, a decent 7 with a potential to go up to 8 if they fix the obvious stuff and add more content and a goddamn scoreboard. Stop the hysteria, the game is a lot of fun, seriously. P.S.     Very disappointing. The graphics and maps look awesome; aesthetics very well done. Other than that just not a fun game to play. The gameplay is just not fluid/smooth. The maps are way too large as well - too much running around and not enough action. This game has great potential but it just simply misses the mark, unfortunately.

    Im Bereich zur Beta hat sich einiges getan, jedoch nicht ausreichend genug.
    Was mich am meisten stört ist TTK und dass die Treffer nicht erfasst werden. Wiederbeleben ist öfters nicht möglich.     Battlefield 2042 это уже не Battlefield,это даже не хорошая Call of duty,к сожалению проект больше походит на free to play проект с кучей багов,без сюжетной компании и с посредственным мультиплеером

Looking at the score of the way I do though right now I feel like there's a lot of trolls that isn't a real score everybody I talk to and chat online right now is having an awesome experience some of the downsides though is it needs an in-game chat although adding someone to a party there's a little more of a task it's still worth it and strategic modes like hazard zone the gun count is a little low but then if you go to portal a quadruples in size so you can find anything you want for a first person shooter in this game if you don't like one mode there's always another one to satisfy you I admit I don't like all three modes because I like playing one right now but when I get tired of it I'm sure I'll switch to another one and I'll be just fine but I noticed that some people are thinking this game is bad I really don't know why the graphics are amazing the gameplay is action-packed other than a couple minor bugs which are normal like this is nowhere close to battlefield 4 bugs I just don't get why people are giving it such a bad rap on here and a couple YouTubers say it's not that great but I've been having a blast anybody who loves battlefield is having a blast too I think the majority of people putting bad reviews on this game probably don't normally play battlefield are still mad about battlefield 5 who knows I don't know I'm having a good time I highly recommend getting this game and I honestly can't get off of it and that 32 I was starting to think I don't need to play video games anymore we'll battlefield reignited that for me… Expand

    Эпичная игра. Никогда не видел на столько монструозного размаха в онлайн шутерах. Каждый кадр будто из фильма. Уж точно не на 10/10, но всё таки как-то надо перебивать плохие оценки фанатов cod.

    While the repetition and lack of content cooled my enthusiasm a bit, I am excited to see where DICE can take Battlefield 2042 from here — if current industry trends hold, I’m confident this will be a strong addition to my already-full shooter rotation after a few months of additions and updates.
