One of the most disappointing games of the generation. Extremely buggy at release, I even got two game breaking bugs in week one. Bland characters, mediocre story and horrifying driving mechanics. While it has an interesting hacking component and surprisingly fun multiplayer modes, it still is a major letdown

And then the god damn Damien sequence. Unavoidable CtOS scan and no idea where your objective is unless you made a god damn picture at the start. Ridiculous, attempted it multiple times, there is not a second to breathe on hard diff, no skill can help you and i don't bother lowering diff. Uninstalled don't care to see the end, the story went to **** anyway after forcefully killing a key character. Was wondering why the game was hated but now i get it. Wasted potential, wasted 5 h of mine, fire your writers. Expand

Dieses Action-Adventure besticht durch seine düstere Atmosphäre und interessanten Gameplayansätzen. Es schöpft jedoch auf Grund der oberflächlichen Story und durchschnittlichen Graphik nicht sein Potenzial aus (7/10).

Great open-world AAA GTA style hacker gamer, that is unique enough to stand on it's own from GTA series. I'm saying all this as a hardcore GTA fan btw. No. He is serious vigilante on revenge quest and that's what makes him actually interesting and cool. Unlike Batman, Aiden actually kills his victims and that's no hate on Batman, i like Batman and that's whole another debate, but Aiden is very, very cool and likable character. Anyone who wanted him to be perfect hero, can look for some other game, Sims maybe. There's lots of similarities between Max Payne and Aiden, i have never seen anyone whining about Max Payne or maybe these haters have just never played that masterful shooter series, that is Max Payne. Either way Watch Dogs is already a classic and has huge fanbase. Two sequels were absolute garbage, only Aiden DLC was decent. Hopefully Ubisoft want actually make money again and next WD game will be prequel with Aiden as a main character. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Personally, I think this game its overrated. The story shows to you a criminal who lost her sister-in-law, the only person who was happy with him. For his fault, Maurice killed her, and Aiden thinks that the only way to redeem is the revenge. But thats a big mistake. He tries to kill maurice, a few days, her sister gets kidnapped and he tries to go after damien, but hes does criminal things. After a while, he mets clara lile, her helper, after, he meet T-Bone, unfortunately, he starts to loose, things at the end of the because his obsession to kill damien, he loses clara, she is killed; he loses his family because they don't wanna be on risk, he loose his dignity and finally, when he kills damien, he kills his friend, jordi-chin. I personally think that the story represents how bad is the revenge, and how a criminal, usually can't become good person. Honestly, i hate the end because jordi-cin for no reason is still alive, but the story is breaking-down, you feel bad for the characters around Aiden pearce. The graphics are generic, in 2014 were good, but nowadays,
some moments growned very bad at the time. The world is interesting, has some interesting activities but are very short and its easy to get the final trophie (platinum, in ps4, for example). The gameplay its very good, and the car persecutions are spectacular, with all of the hacks and slow motion, the final boss its very original, because you needd to drive around the city escaping and trying to go places wich in a short time, get hacked. The atmposhere is good, and dark. The game has a lots of bugs. Good performance. I recommend it, but only for 30$

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Watch Dogs was a highly anticipated title for months, and for the most part lived up to its hype. Its story, while good, shot off in a lot of different directions. They were able to keep the story coherent enough that you knew what was going on, but, the ending kind of lost some luster because of how many directions this game went. "Lucky" Quinn being revealed as the person who put the hit on Pierce, I thought, was also kind of a let down. He wasn't prevalent throughout a whole lot of the game, and turned out to be the main enemy (behind Damien, of course). Overall, the story was good, and sometimes gripping, as well as sometimes confusing. Voice acting as a whole was done well enough, with no one really bad or no one really exceptional, with exceptions put on Jordi, Quinn and Damien. Graphics were impressive, outside of facial animations. You can tell they really only put work into the main characters for that. Late in the game, when you are engaged in more firefights, hacking to beat enemies becomes more frustrating, but that aside, the hacking was a phenomenal feature that made you feel awesome. Combat and stealth were perfect. Cars handled great, and in terms of long-term play-ability, this game knocks it out of the park. I still have so much to do after the main game was finished. A great game that may not have lived up to the big hype, but came very near to it. I would like to see a Watch Dogs 2, but, I don't know what the story would be. The end had Dedsec declaring war pretty much. Maybe that will be the premise? Who knows Expand

However, where the game falters is the story. it was so convoluted that by the end I just didn't care anymore and wasn't really sure why Aiden was doing anything.

The graphics had plenty of wow moments, especially at night or in the rain and the sound and music were excellent. Downgrade or not, the game looks great often. A major issue is that you're constantly being notified about side missions which gets annoying. Regarding the same, there were too many to do on a single play through without sacrificing the immersion of the already disjointed, convoluted and forgettable story. For the most part the side missions are decent but with the sheer number of them and collectables, I just ignored them halfway through the game to see I the story would get better - it didn't. This game should have had a New Game Plus to allow me to replay the story and continue with my progression. Maybe a second play through with more audio files would have made the story make more sense...

The online is very intersting. Ubisoft is definitely trying to meld SP and online and what they've done is innovative. The standard MP plays well, the racing is particularly fun.

Overall it's a game with very good shooting mechanics and a lot of potential but the convoluted story and lack of new game plus keeps it from being great.

It's hard to rate, at times it felt like a 9/10 at others a 6/10. A new game plus would have increased replayability and its rating as a result. Having just completed the game, however, my feeling is it's a 7.5 overall. I don't regret buying it, but there's no reason to keep it either.

At it's high point it revels in itself and dodges all the popular genre tropes. Whatever extra time Watch Dogs had in the cooker must've been spent refining the quality of the missions and side quests. The latter stands out for it's sheer variety in diversion, one minute you're racing stolen cars through checkpoints where you may or may not have to dodge cops, or deliver under a damage and time restriction and the next you're hacking into peoples private lives at a leisurely pace through peepholes throughout a sprawling city. Chicago is big too, well laid out and easily traversed. Absolutely nothing in Watch Dogs feels cumbersome, and that's the point, from the mission structure at its core to the endless stream of information about Chicago's virtual citizens, nothing is obtrusive to the player.

You're free to ignore it all and head toward whatever you fancy, games of poker, hacking bank accounts, the main campaign, none of it gets in your way and at the same time it never feels overwhelming when it comes to what to do next. Objectives are snap and if you find yourself with a heavy dose of gaming ADD you'll feel right at home either way and accomplished at whatever task you choose.

The character development of the anti-hero Aiden Pierce is compelling at times, but might be the only weak link in the Watch Dogs debut. Overall Pierce is a great character that's relatable and delivers with a voice that could fill more dirt than Shovel Knight. The stone gravel tone eventually compliments Pierce and feels like it belongs to him. What sets off the game's only piece of disarray is the fact that Ubisoft never commits Pierce to the full anti-hero nature and waffles between the many mixed personalities of humanity. Which would be fine, but the plot design is such that we're led to feel bad for Pierce and his poor familial tragedy and at the same time look at him as a hero righting wrongs. It's a tough act to follow when Pierce is running around killing bad guys, maybe cops, stealing millions from citizenry (I literally ended the main game with over 2 million!) and my favorite; disrupting the gang hideout. The gangs provide some of the best game design and entertaining missions in the game, and we always get a glimpse to their activity before hand. Pierce is determined to put them down because sometimes they're stealing from people! And one of the main points of the game is to go after a crooked mob boss. These motives hardly make any sense when the game reflects back on Pierce's motives.

Don't let this deter you though, as the game is great, and hacking everything is brilliant. It had to take the team at ubisoft some time, but the gameplay is great. Cars are the weakest component, but admist an awesome cover shooter, bullet time, and hacking any electronic in a 4 block radius a little loose driving is hardly anything to complain about. The cars, guns, and tasks that involve them are all pretty entertaining. Your character level ups as the game progresses too offering a stellar reward system. There's almost a power system that boosts your tool kit to use better hacks and more control. For instance at first all you can do while driving down the street is trip street lights in your favor. Eventually you can take over city infrastructure and raise bridges, overload transformers and cause blackouts, blow up steam pipes, and drop helicopters from the sky.

It's all handled through a choose your own path skill tree that plays to your own tastes. It's broad and sweeping at the start, but it's also adept at giving you clear choices. If you prefer stealth to combat its simple to see the layout, or if you'd like to toughen up Pierce right away into a one many bull time tripping rambo you are welcome to it.

And that's the last gripe some have with the game. In the end Pierce goes from soccer dad who's into computers to ultimate hacker badass with a cadre of weapons both technical and ballistic. I actually found that all gratifying. I related to Pierce better the more he found skills and didn't come off as a weakling, almost akin to Batman he's capable to deal with any situation and that piece of his character seemed very fitting to me. Currently you can pick up the game for around $30 if you dig for it, and at that price it's an absolute steal. I also liked it better than GTA 5 and can't wait to see what Ubisoft does with the franchise next.

It can not be that good if I have already forgot about its existence. To be honest I don't even remember the story very well, I just remember that your daughter is dead and you are out for revenge.. I also remember the "next gen" handling of cars.. Ya right...

I mean it is OK, but if you are expecting something to keep you busy for awhile, this isn't it..
The graphics are not bad, but it's hardly next gen like the devs wanted you to believe... The car handling & physics is defiantly 3 gens back... Every car in this game my as well be a tank because you can smash these cars into a wall 40 times and the car will still be running...
If this is suppose to be next gen where cars are bouncing off of walls and trains can stop on a dime then my physics teacher was a no good liar...
Don't call your game "next gen" just because it has a 1 button hacking mechanic that IS fun for about an hour, until you get used to it and gets boring..
I actually liked AC4 better and that is saying a lot considering Ass Creed has been milked to the bone..
The pvp kind of uses the same mechanic of Dark Souls, but it defiantly isn't as fun.. Hacking peoples phones and you have to catch them before the download is complete... Give me a break, it's stupid..

I'm not even a big GTA 5 guy.. I have it, it's good but I got sick off that too considering I've been playing GTA since GTA 1, it just all feels the same, but I will say that it is leagues above Watch Dogs.

This is my opinion of the game, some people may not agree, that is fine, everyone has their own taste and different experiences. My experience with Watch Dogs was not a good one.. To each their own..

Funny how everyone in the city knows who you are meanwhile the actual story characters have no clue.

I finished the game, just because there was nothing else I had going on and it was so easy to do. Online stuff is okay, but after a few sessions, I'm not interested in going back. The sessions with multiple players tend to get some awful frame rate where it's pretty unplayable.

When/if Watch_Dogs 2 comes out, I won't be pre-ordering it until I'm sure they've made it actually a fun game to play and have made the story/characters actually interesting.

I dis-agree with both, and have found the leading character to be necessarily opaque, so as to allow the player to place elements of their personality over the main character using their own in game choices.
The driving is just as bad ( or as good ) as GTA 5. Motorbikes and high performance cars ( but not stupidly twitchy sports cars ) handle just fine as long as you respect the road.
If anything, the game could do with more gunplay, especially the gang take down missions.
Watchdogs is a highly recommended open world action game, with a long campaign and many, many side quests and objectives. ( all similar to games like Assassins creed series, Farcry and the new tomb raider ).
Buy Watchdogs if you want a dark story and dark gameplay with lost of player choice. 8.5/10 and on my second play through.

    Story-

The game is set around Aiden Pearce, a vigilante. That's all you need to know. The story is bland and cliche, if you buy games for the story experience you won't enjoy this. The game struggled to provide any motivation for the character yet fails spectacularly. If you see a review praising the story, it's probably a troll.

    Gameplay-
The gameplay is basically an open world stealth game with the addition of controlling elements of the world. The hacking isn't gimmicky and is legitimately helpful. Take this example:
I've stealth killed a guy and a different guard spots him. I bring down the load on a nearby forklift to block his path and remain stealthy and take him out. Highlights include several bases of this evil corporation Blume and the gang hideouts which require you to stealth kill the enemy.

    Graphics-
    Not spectacular.

Now the cons: A horribly bland and boring/lifeless city with not much to see; sometimes I feel like this game would've been better off being a linear game as opposed to an open world game, as driving from point A to point B was such a chore to me. The side missions never really excited me, I just really stuck to the drinking mini game and crime prevention side quests and not much more. The driving was comically bad, especially the collisons to surroundings/ other cars; felt like the road was butter and I could crash into the back and somehow take no damage and end up sliding to the side of the car I just crashed into. The characters in the game were pretty bland too, I had no emotion playing through the game, just played it to finish it basically. Bottomline is lower your expectations of this game, it's no where near gta or even sleeping dogs standards. If you like this game, you'll be happy to know there is a lot of things to keep you occupied for a while. But the hacking aspect alone probably saved this game for me. Expand

You will often try to hack into and blow up some steam pipes in the road behind you, but will end up accidentally raising some block barriers in front of you or changing a set of traffic lights which leads to you crashing at high speeds. The times when the game lets you know when to hack, the camera angle attempts to spin round to show you the bad guys being blown to bits, but it fails 99% of the time. The camera will spin round miss the action then spin back and put you off the game so you crash. The controls can be stupidly clunky in some places, like when trying to get on or off a boat for instance. You can only get on and off a boat in certain places, which is annoying. Graphically it is quite nice, but not what we were all expecting, it won't wow you. The story is ok but nothing special. Expand

Whether you are exploring the beautifully detailed world, taking part in one of the varied story missions or saving an innocent man from the hands of those who mean him harm everything feels extremely well done! The story is consistently interesting and never really has a dull moment, you will be asking yourself the questions "who?" and "why?" all the way up until those final credits roll! The only thing that took me out of the experience was the steep learning curve when it came to the driving, at first it feels very unresponsive which isn't very fitting seeing as they make Aiden out to be "the best driver in Chicago". However, you will quickly learn to maneuver with skill while driving and this is what bring me to my favorite part of Watch Dogs! You constantly feel yourself getting better! After every mission you complete you will feel yourself becoming a faster hacker, a better shot or just more smooth operator! It is this sense of progression that made Watch Dogs great for me, and along with a great story as well as an impressive showing of the PS4's power make this what will surely be an instant classic! Watch_Dogs at first glance gives off a vibe of originality. No, that isn’t sarcasm, in case your first thought was “but, GTA…”. In this case I’m referring to the gameplay. The hacking element is something I had never seen in a game. While simple, it works in such a way that it’s fun and engaging. No, that isn’t sarcasm, in case your first thought was “but, GTA…”. In this case I’m referring to the gameplay. The hacking element is something I had never seen in a game. While simple, it works in such a way that it’s fun and engaging. It’s enjoyable seeing the environment react to your interactions, aiding you in the action. I can say Watch_Dogs is fun, however the story-line is nothing to be amazed by. Expect a cliché, “I’ve been there before” kind of story. This story is not going to surprise you. The characters are interesting enough, Aiden doesn’t really crack a lot of jokes, but his character can still be taken seriously. His presence is authoritative; he isn’t an underdog, he knows what he’s doing and he’s a pro at it. The story is enjoyable and well crafted, but in contrast to the gameplay it’s nothing new—just decent.

Then there’s the driving. There’s not much to say about the driving other than it’s all right. There’s an undeniable awkward sensation to it, but after a while you should be able to get used to it. It’s not bad, just different. I did not like the fact that you can’t own a car at any given time, nor are there any customization options. You can only steal or “order” cars through a phone app, but they’re not for you to keep.

The setting and environment in Watch_Dogs is impressive. Ubisoft created a beautiful representation of Chicago. While not as colorful and vivid as Los Santos in GTA5, Chicago gives a more photorealistic and darker tone than the latter. The whole game is a lot darker, at that. Do not be discouraged by the “graphic downgrade” — On the PS4, the game looks beautiful. Cutscenes are superb. The city looks amazing close and at a distance. The NPCs are varied and feel alive in the city instead of robotic entities and that gives a lot of credibility to the environment. I will say that there isn’t as much detail like the way it is in GTA5 as far as the open-world goes, but what is there is polished and good looking. There are a few things here and there such as the reflections in the windows and awkward world interactions, but it isn’t enough to break the experience. Chicago looks beautiful.

There’s also multiplayer in Watch_Dogs, and it’s thankfully a deviation from the traditional. There are modes where you can stalk or hack other players. These tend to be passive but they’re incredibly tense and fun. There are also online races and deathmatches, for those who prefer the traditional.

Watch_Dogs is a fun experience, but the story will not fulfill everybody. It’s one of those “either you like it or not, there’s not really an inbetween” cases. But even if you’re not a fan of the story the game packs a hell of a lot of side content (I was at around 50% completion when I finished the story, and I had done plenty of side content by then) to engage in. Side content goes from fixer contracts (car delivery missions, cop evasions, among others), clearing enemy hideouts, etc., to collectibles and mini-games. Thankfully they feel relevant to the game instead of wastes of time, *cough* AC3.

Let us hope we see a gigantic improvement, sort of like we saw from AC1 to AC2, in the sequel.

There is a wealth of things to do, but very few of them were developed enough to hold my attention for more than ten minutes at a time. Regardless though, this game's strength lies in its core combat, which seamlessly blends the novel one-button hacking that the game so heavily advertised and the very tight gunplay which manages to create a unique feel of each weapon and permit both the stealth and guns-blazing approach (although I imagine most players will go for the much more rewarding stealth). Overall, the story was not engaging and the main character, Aiden Pearce, was just so bland. I tried forcing myself to continue playing it and hoping it would improve, but after about 10 hours into it I gave up.

The hacking is very good an easy to do, the interaction with other people from the city is bad, they can call the police on you when you haven't fired a single bullet, its ridiculous, the story is kind of average too, which leads to an average game, this is not the E3 demo, its worse, very worse. 7.5/10

When next-gen consoles where on there way and I saw this game again at E3 2013 I was even more hyped. When I finally got the final product after Ubisoft critically acclaimed "5 years in development" game, I had some mixed opinions

    1. The game is NOT next-gen.
Yes, I know, the whole entire internet is freaking out about how this game is not what the game looked like at E3 2012-2013 and believe it, Ubisoft should be ashamed and could be sued for false advertisement. I don't find it bad graphics but when the PC port looks worst than the PS4, I should be worried that Sony could have given Ubisoft some money to tease people that the PS4 is much better than PC. (Also the physics suck, real bad)

    2. The open world
Although filled with great animations from the NPC's and a ton of stuff to do you will figure out it's pretty small and you will be going around in circles a lot

    3. Gameplay
Taking some things from Ubisoft's cover mechanics makes the game easy to learn, after all, your "Hacking" is pretty much holding Square or X. Most of the side quests are repetitive and are mainly fetch quests. Hacking is fun though, which is the games man selling point, watching cars bash into each other by jamming the stop lights or exploding pipes can be fun. And the multiplayer is fun as well.

    4. Story
Cliché characters, cliché writing, nothing more to say. Aiden (the main character) reminds me of Desmond Miles from the Assassin Creed series (A big red alert for me) And the story is boring and pretty pointless.

    5. The A.I
Its funny to watch people do stupid stuff and more importantly, Cops won't chase you If your on a boat. This is sad.

    6. The Ending.
Its literally a "Press x to win" and it sequel baits so hard for a Watch Dogs 2.

Overall, the game is ok and mediocre at best. I recommend you get it rented, or wait for a while until its around 20$ or free on PS Plus.

The dawn of the eighth-generation of gaming was upon us with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (oh, and the Wii U wasn't selling or getting third-party support, but at least we got "Super Smash Bros." that year!), and unfortunately, we were graced with a lot of new IPs that unfortunately didn't deliver on massive expectations, like "Titanfall," "Driveclub," "The Crew," "The Evil Within," "Destiny," and of course this game right here, "Watch Dogs." Even new titles in established franchises, like "Thief," "The Sims 4," and "Assassin's Creed Unity" struggled in 2014. But now that years have passed, maybe we can step back and reassess some of these without considering all the hype and hubbub they got prior to their launches. So, is "Watch Dogs" worth it in that case? Eh.
Off the top, "Watch Dogs" has a very interesting concept in mixing hacking with open worlds, and in general, the open-world gameplay is quite solid. It's fun getting to explore the open-world of Chicago, and while the hacking can be a little simplistic, it still feels like a very neat concept for the game. There's also plenty of exciting content in the game, great mission variety, and some rather interesting level design here.
There are quite a few gripes, though, that make it unable to live up to all of the pre-release hype. For starters, even if we don't consider the "E3 downgrade" and all that, the visuals in the game aren't really all that great for what is a "next-gen" game. Playing the game in 2018, it unfortunately just looks painfully outdated already. On top of that, while I can appreciate that the hacking is mostly kept simple in the game, it does feel like said concept of hacking just isn't utilized that much, and more of the game revolves around rather generic stealth missions that don't feel exciting whatsoever. And don't get me started on our overly-stoic main character and weak storyline of this game, because for what's supposed to be a "clever, interesting new idea," the story just feels so run-of-the-mill here.
I wanted to love "Watch Dogs." Really, I did. I even pre-ordered the game when it came out because I wanted this to be the best next-gen game out there. Unfortunately, it just isn't. What was supposed to be such an innovative game just felt like another "Assassin's Creed" styled game with a hacking mechanic slapped on for "uniqueness" and a boring, cliché story hiding behind it all. It's a damn shame, because it was such an interesting concept. Unfortunately, 2014 taught us that even the most "innovative" games can be lackluster (I'm looking at you, "Destiny"), and even if it's not a bad game (in fact, it's a pretty decent one at that), "Watch Dogs" will most certainly go down as one of the biggest disappointments of the eighth generation of gaming.
Final rating: 6 out of 10 "Decent"

The scenery-chewing performances from many of the secondary characters, particularly antagonist Damien Brenks, don't help, nor does the truly awful voice acting for Clara, who seems to emphasize the wrong word in every single sentence she speaks. I don't know why this was so messed up. I heard about the damn investors who ruined the whole **** experience trying to convince people to be GTA like and stuff. Lack of focus, lack of charisma. 1. You cannot swim underwater.
    2. There are some invisible walls.
    3. You cannot climb obstacles or punch people unless a button prompt says that you can.
The story of Watch Dogs is quite exciting and interesting. You play as a hacker, Aiden Pearce, whose niece is killed by Maurice Vega, a gang member sent by Aiden's old hacking partner Damien Brenks to do the killing. The story then turns unoriginal, as Aiden is out for revenge on Maurice and Damien. Aiden is not a very interesting character, but the supporting characters are. There are also side missions like Criminal Convoys, where you have to cut off and gun down a group of gang members before they reach their destination, Gang Hideouts, where you knock out a specific target of a gang, Fixer Contracts, where you either get a car to a location with minimal damage, lose Police or gang pursuers and then drop off a car or drive through checkpoints to get the police on to you. The last group of side missions are Crimes, where you stop a crime just before it happens and catch the criminal. Whilst roaming around the in-game city of Chicago, you can use Aiden's smartphone to profile people. This shows you their name, what they've been doing recently, their job and their income. There are also some Mini Games to play: Cash Run, a parkour running smartphone game, Chess, Drinking, NVZN, another smartphone game where you shoot aliens coming out of a portal, Poker and Shell Game, where a man puts a ball in a cup and shuffles three of them round. Once he's done you have to guess which cup the ball is in. There are a lot of collectibles: Audio Logs, City Hotspots, ctOS Breaches, ctOS Towers, Privacy Invasions and SongSneak. There are many investigations that add more to the story, like the Human Traffic Investigation or the Missing Person Investigation. Gun combat in this game feels great and sounds great too. A bad thing about Watch Dogs is its excessive hacking puzzles that are used many times during the story, and many more when finding collectibles. Another bad thing is that Ubisoft have tried to mix single player with multiplayer, and this doesn't work well. At any time outside of a mission during the game, an online player can invade your game and hack you, and you can do the same to them. This sounds fun, but it can get really annoying and boring when someone jumps into your game and ruins your fun. The rest of the online modes are Online Decryption, Online Race and Online Tailing. Sometimes these modes can be quite glitchy, buggy and laggy, but the real problem is that just under a year from release, the Watch Dogs online community is dying out. Many bad things from Ubisoft's other big franchise Assassin's Creed are in Watch Dogs. Overall, Watch Dogs is a good game that is kept from getting 8 or 9/10 because of not-as-advertised graphics, missing vital open-world features, occasionally buggy online modes, bad mixture of single player and multiplayer and excessive hacking puzzles.

Watch Dogs is underrated. As an open world game it will doubtless be compared to GTA5 or AC4, its closest competition. Cause your pursuer to crash into oncoming traffic by switching the lights or blow the gas pipes to rupture the road. You can do this and more just when your driving and the options open up even more on foot. There is variety to this game but it's biggest problem is the story which is on a slow boil for the first half. This has the effect of making you feel like you're just plodding your way through the early part of the game which can lead you to feel a little uninterested. Throw in Aiden Pearce, who's monotone character only starts to grow on you after a few hours of play and you could soon be tempted to put this down and start checking trade prices online. If you push through the first 2 Acts of the game it does pick up and the characters you meet along the way add to the story as the plot unfolds. there is a lot to this game and it will get overlooked in favour of more pacey thrills, but if you like to get pulled into a game and its world at your own leisure, this is definitely for you. Let be start I did not think graphic are THAT bad but I will admit Ubisoft really need to stop overhyped their game. Now I did like open-world combat (going in gun in or stealth) some side misson were fun like gang hideout. But game start apart for me is that Aiden is very boring and try to hard to be max payne and fact Overall story is boring. Those give credit T-Bone and other chacher are fun but can't save this story of the game and ending was sequel baiting. But I did enjoy game but nothing to saw go back once done Expand

Multiplayer is the only downfall. Single player however is one of the best campaigns I have played, there is a great story with many options to kill enemies, options to hack and options to complete missions.

An enjoyable open world game. Driving is fine, it's not suppose to be a racing game, vehicles have weight to them. It is missing one thing though, no radio stations. This is a good game, great storyline to it plenty of positives and negatives and mainly there isn't much to do once the story mode has been completed if you're not playing online. This would make a really good film if done properly and it was a game I couldn't stop playing when I first got it. Hopefully the problems in this are fixed in Watch Dogs 2 to up my score.

Good game with a few story problems but it's still a fun game. The songs in the game are the worst part because there are like 2 songs I know in the whole game. The gun play is very good with quite a few guns to play with.

I was very excited to play this game because i love many ubisoft games (Farcry, Assassin´s Creed 4 and specially the Splinter Cell). In fact, Watch Dogs has some things of them, which i don't know that it is a good way to start a new IP. Despite it has unforgivable graphics problems there are no doubt that the world of WD is beautiful but sometimes its reality is damaged with the white contours to hack everything. Why doesn´t Ubisoft just put a little sign? Has to bold the entire structure? Like a bridge for example!!? And at night time in some hours i don´t like the colours too. Too saturated. The reflections of the windows are a truly disaster. Next gen graphics don´t even reflect the persons on the streets? And the buildings and other surroundings don't correspond simply. It´s a shame. Of course, the rain and reflections on the road are fantastic, the water effects are splendid, the lightning and crash/explosions are very very good, the cars, boats, motorcycles, ... are very well done (just need a more realistic destruction effect and better physic sometimes). Multiplayer is very good too, with fun and innovation. The graphics problems (i want to say again the graphics are good but with ridiculous bugs) and the obviously GTA 5 comparison relegate the Watch Dogs to second place (but far away) as an open world game. Rockstar has the advantage of experience and in fact GTA is a solid, polished and a final product, a culmination that is nearly perfection. Watch Dogs has potential but i´m a little concerned about creativity of Ubisoft in the hypothectical sequel.

The water and light effects were awesome and I had no lag on my PS4. Chicago was fully realized and my favorite location was Pawnee- a small hick town outside of the main city. I only had a few majore issues with the game, the driving and the fact that you can't shoot a gun and drive. If these two things were fixed I would probobly give the game a 9 instead of an 8. Well, here are the things Watch Dogs does right. The world is huge, it looks beautiful (on next gen), controls and gameplay are really smooth, and the hacking feels really satisfying, apart from the mini-games used in most story missions. Some would still say that would make this game an overall 5, but there are some negatives of the game I'm willing to let go, mainly the bugs that pop up every now and then. I'm gonna try to avoid rambling here:

This game is -not- bad. The five is for something average, mostly functional and playable. It's decent fun most the time. It's not the groundbreaking blockbuster it was advertised as. It's not the next Half-Life. It's a lackluster but alright game, and if your lack of PS4 games is driving you crazy enough, it's worth buying to play. But even then, there's other games you could get.

E.g. You should get Last of Us if you didn't already. I'd advise PS4's Killzone over it, too, on the level of fun and graphics. And Towerfall: a fantastic, old-styled, platform type arena game that's got great singleplayer/co-op and multiplayer. It's simple, well-made, and difficult. Don't Starve, Strike Suit Zero are both games worth trying, as well. All on the PS4.

    Specifics:
It doesn't have GTA 5's questionable ethics in places (its subjective ethics, the way it talks about different groups of people, etc.), which is a plus if that or GTA's attempts to shock bother you, but I enjoyed it less on every level. It made me appreciate how good GTA is at being GTA.

Hacking: Everything revolves it in the story, but it doesn't feel real, seems like the creators are trying to fake it the whole way. It gets credit for being better than some, it never -looks- as bad as a cartoon for toddlers, made by people who don't use computers. The mechanics feel gimmicky and limited. Cool detail when you glance at every citizen, but that doesn't make a game. What you can do is cool, but it's always the same hack, including when plot related. There should be a larger range of types of hacks or objects TO hack. The player hacking adds up to holding the square button, or doing an okay and meh mini-game to break security.

Story: Not gonna get deep into this. The punk girl, Clara, and the hacker alcoholic guy are likable, tolerable. Sister's dull distressed damsel material, and gives a weird, incestuous romance vibe with MC Aiden sometimes. Nephew is possible worse. The old mentor/friend is unrealistic, leaning toward Saturday morning cartoon villain. The story confuses itself on what its focus, themes and moral stance are, and falls into obnoxious preachiness more than once, only to drop it later. The tropes (blanking on a better word) are well-tread and predictable. Better than the worst, but that's not saying much.

Gameplay: Even beyond the hack concept, it's flawed. If the player's view is directed toward two different objects to hack, the same button activates both, and the game might hack something you didn't want to. This can lead to accidentally setting off an explosion, which alerts the AI, or going to a camera when someone's about to corner you. More annoying are helicopters, which during a police chase are a giant pain in the ass to get in view and disable, and otherwise are a pain to outrun or hide from.

The O button is both the silent/non-lethal takedown AND the climb button. This is infuriating. Both I and friends would accidentally climb off the cliff in a parking ramp level and die, or climb on top of the object we were covering behind (now in plain sight), trying to takedown an enemy nearby.
The neutralize option, which gives you the option to hack and crash an enemy at the second they pass a spot you can hack (usually behind you) was neat. It was the only way to make traffic lights effective.

The multiplayer's decent, this coming from a skeptic. The different group missions are fun, as well as the one-on-one to a lesser extent. The problem are invasions. Invasions are a great concept, it actually integrates multiplayer into singleplayer, but Watchdogs makes them mandatory in a stupid way. It interrupts all and anything else you were doing, and won't let you do something else. The interruption should come from the intruding player, and shouldn't put the game at a dead stop until the invasion's over. It makes a cool idea (ala Demon/Dark Souls) a frustrating nuisance.

The AI and the way they detect you during stealth is iffy. Stealth becomes a problem because of things like the O button mix-up, or the game failing to recognize that you're trying to switch covers while someone starts to notice you. The basic detection AI is fine: they notice you when you're in plain sight, they notice when they hear a shot or an explosion, or someone's knocked out/dead. They shoot where they found you were last. But the AI gets weird sometimes, where it doesn't feel like people noticing or failing to notice.

As I said, alright overall. Just don't go in with the hype from E3 in your mind.

Aiden’s character design looks and feels like a gem, however all the other characters that we deal with (i.e. his sister, his nephew) are a letdown. They feel under touched, underappreciated, almost as if this was a 2013 PS3 game (not the Naughty Dog type).

Now apart from the gleaming visuals, the gameplay and parkour is so-so. I felt underwhelmed most of the time; and this is a little shocking because of Ubisoft’s foundation in Assassin’s Creed. I felt like they never took that leap of faith.

Despite breaking 24-hours sales records (>4 million copies in 1 week), I felt that this game did not live up to my expectations.

Should you buy it? Definitely. There’s a game drought until September 9th (Destiny) folks!

Really wanted to like this game, it looks amazing and the concept is fresh. Unfortunately the execution is lacking, there is so much going on in the game that the average player can't keep track of it all and you are left feeling numb when you accomplish missions in an unintended manner because you can't pull off the cool move.

I don't have time for video games, so when I play them, they better be good. The city is really well done and fun to explore. The game play was less than desirable. The driving is incredibly bad and not overly fun.

The idea of the smartphone hacking is cool, considering you see people on their phones everyday/everywhere, but in playing the game it just seems repetitive and somewhat boring.

They did a good job of making a dynamic environment but there is a lot of weird crap that can happen. For example, early into the game while scanning for crimes I would find that the potential suspect or criminal could be detected through a build, while outside of the "crime zone", triggering the event and I would literally have no opportunity to see what was going on. As a result, multiple interventions failed because you could not get around the building in time to do anything.

Better still, would be random tutorials that pop up midchase or mid-quest. Most of the time it is for something completely unrelated to the quest you are on.

Anyways, this is just my opinion. I have tried to get into it and will definitely try again. That said, if you are borderline either way for a big price drop, rent it, or borrow from a friend before heading out to add it to your collection.

First lets start with the PROS
+The soundtrack for Watch Dogs (Not the radio stations) is really great
    +Well detailed map
+Game looks beautiful especially when its raining during night or when there's a sunset
+The supporting cast is well developed and interesting
+The crime interventions are fun (There's a con for this too)
+The information that is given to you while you hack a AI really does make the world feel alive
    +Really fun cop chases
+There's a large quantity of side missions when you're not doing the main quest
+The hacking really does help in combat, and extremely fun to use
    +Great visuals
+Multiple ways to approach, stealth, guns blazing, or just hacking your way in without being detected at all
+Hacking another player is tense, since the player is always looking for you, while being hacked, and trying to look for the player who's hacking you, can be really fun
+The multiplayer mode that's somewhat capture the flag, can be a fun experience
    And here are the CONS
    -Lackluster story
-Aiden's personality (main character) feels empty, and at times you couldn't care less for Aiden
-There's some bugs that can be game breaking like for example trains stop automatically when a vehicles are in front them
-A HUGE misstep of the cop chases is that you can escape them, with a taxi boat, no kidding
-The songs in the radio are not really great
-Driving could feel a little bit wonky
-Playing multiplayer could lead to a lot of lagging and screen tearing
-Playing Free Roam with other players feels empty, because there is no missions to do
-The themes that Watch Dogs are a mixed bag
-Feels formulaic, especially if you played the Assassin's Creed Series, or Far Cry 3
-Watch Dogs has a lot of Pop in (Stuff coming out of nowhere, like AI, benches, cars, etc.) to the point its really noticeable, and considering that Grand Theft Auto 5 is Last-Gen and has less Pop in that you really couldn't tell if there was, really does blow my mind
And the number one CON that have with this game is...................................... REPETITIVE SIDE MISSIONS! Each side mission feels exactly the same mission you completed before.
Watch Dogs isn't the Next-Gen game you were expecting, instead you get a dumbed down version of the original game from E3, probably because of Last- Gen, or they wanted parity between consoles and PC, no I have not played the PC version, but I heard it was poorly optimized when they ported the game to PC
Otherwise its a solid start for a new franchise, if you're planning to buy this game, I recommend you wait till the price drops

Vastly over-hyped by both the developers and the fans, and terribly undelivered as a result. Watch Dogs was marketed as a "next-gen" pioneer with groundbreaking graphics and game-play, and fell flat. Is it a good game? No, it has many problems. Is it a bad game? No, it still has redeeming qualities. What is it really, then? A painfully average and underwhelming game.

The biggest and most noticeable shortcoming of Watch Dogs is that the graphics are not what they were advertized in previous trailers and events, and as a result the game looks substantially less amazing than any of us would have thought. Because of this, the game looks like a letdown. Secondly, the advertized story is completely abysmal with few (if any) likable or complex characters, including the supposed hero, Aiden, who is extremely dull. The story is extremely lackluster and doesn't really achieve anything beyond a simple revenge story with a few detours here and there, while the ending is quite clearly leaving it open for a sequel. Hence, Watch Dogs is not a well written game and it is NOT worth getting for it's story, and I would personally not play the campaign any more than once. The next major problem with Watch Dogs is that outside of the main story, there isn't much to replay in the world itself. Sure, there are the minigames and activities (Poker, Chess, Hacking, unlocking the map, clearing enemy hideouts, etc.) that you would expect from open world games, but there isn't anything particularly amazing with the world itself that makes you want to explore or do something over and over again. Due to this, Watch Dogs is an overall disappointment in these areas.

However, there are redeeming qualities to this game. First, the sound design/mixing and character modelling is top notch, and something that you may take for granted but should appreciate. Secondly, the world design is beautiful, and every NPC feels alive more so than any other open world game. Instead of being a faceless clone, every NPC in Watch Dogs has some sort of story or secret, making them more unique than most other NPCs in other games. This makes your initial gameplay experience more special than other games, and is something Watch Dogs should be commended on.

Easily the best part of Watch Dogs is the hacking feature, which lets us interact with the world in ways we rarely see in other open world games. We can move the environment, blow steam pipes, change traffic lights, hack phones, stop trains, set off car alarms, and even cut the power to the whole city. This is where you will undoubtedly have fun and this is what the game is worth getting for. The additional online multiplayer features also utilize this feature, and the Online Hacking and Online Tailing game modes present a unique experience that pits you up against another player, in which anything can happen. As you pursue a player to hack them, you can approach it in any way - Cut the power, cause car accidents, blow gas mains, run in guns blazing for the laughs, or approach them with ninja-like stealth and then hide as you hack them. Regardless of whether you are hacking another player or being hacked by another player, the experience is a combination of tenseness, horror, panic, intelligence, improvisation, and cheekiness, and it is worth buying the game to experience this. Without a doubt, this saves Watch Dogs from being a bad game.

Overall, Watch Dogs has some fun experiences but is hindered by the shortcomings in important elements of the game, making it not bad and not good, but rather a painfully average game that could have been so much more.

Normally i just bring out the AK47 or Rambo machine-guns and go all out on everyone, but i actually found myself using cameras, the environment and the silent handgun more often than not. But i have to say, in my opinion there's too few skills and after a while i'm bored because of how little the gameplay varies throughout. The side missions get real old after a little while, the same things you do over and over again, it's not fun! The main story missions are too short also. You complete the game after 3 days, if you have a life to attend to outside your living room, otherwise i could've probably finished it within 7 hours straight not completing side missions too. The thing i hate most about this game though, is that you can't use your baton like in GTA as a melee weapon. You can only hit someone with it if you're standing in front of them pressing one button and then Aiden does the rest for you and puts it away again immediately afterwards. I don't know how else to explain, you'll understand when you play. Also, why can't i shoot out of the car while driving?!? It's really annoying you have to run against whoever you're chasing with your car or hack the environment to stop the other and then you have to get out of your car and chase them on foot. And why can't you just kill instead of knocking down in every mission, it's f*cking ridiculous! And the graphics look like it was 2009 all over again. The only things saving this game are the gameplay, and the multiplayer part. That i thought was inventive. When the sequel get's out, they better learn from the fails of this and not repeat them. The graphics are the best I've seen so far on the PS4. Most of the games out so far look like last generation games. Watch Dogs looks and feels like a true next-generation game.

The story line is passable, but a bit goofy at times. You're supposed to be the good guy, yet you're running around hacking people's bank accounts and car jacking them left and right. The probably shouldn't have made the main character out to be too much of a saint.

The game play is good, but a little too easy at times. I rarely felt challenged by any of the action. The missions are different enough to keep the game interesting.

I haven't played much of the online content. Only part of it is free without a membership. But what I could play was entertaining at least.

Overall, I think it's worth playing all the way through. It's a good 40 hours or so of entertainment. After that, I don't think there's much worth replaying. Personally, I bought it used on ebay and will turn around and sell it for what I paid, so I got my money's worth.

Notes:The open-world do not look very alive and the side mission at the start they were fun but they end up very repetitive. There are lot of guns in this game which I liked also there are a lot of different outfits. Some uninteresting characters in the game and a lot of missed opportunities at hacking hold this game back from what it was suppose to be but at the end it was a good game just that nothing more nothing less I think you should wait for a price drop before you buy it.

I bought this game on PS4. This game had the potential to be excellent, but was frequently hamstrung by mistakes and poor decisions. Ignoring things such as graphics and physics, which seem to be the major bugbears for other reviewers, I had different problems.

Firstly, I like my online and my offline separate. I didn't realise I was playing online missions at first. I was just trying to start a campaign mission and I was then informed I'm being hacked. My first encounter was a few missions in and I had to chase and kill another hacker, who proceeded to ram me, get out, and shoot me in the face with his assault rifle while I'm still using my starter pistol. So, I had to get myself ready again, travel all the way to the quest marker again, but en-route I was hacked a second time. I was supposed to chase someone, who whenever I got close would open a bridge and park on it. If I went to jump to his side, he jumped to the other. When I go back, he'd go the other way. This dance continued for far longer than I'd like to admit, before I managed to swerve in time and have a mid-air collision, we both crashed into the river. He then began to swim slowly, I followed, and eventually we both got out, and I was able to shoot him before I got into a new car. After all this, I went to the options to deactivate the online intrusions, which informed me without them there's certain upgrades I'm ineligible for and all online XP I've acquired will be wiped and I have to start again. Fine, I hadn't got far anyway. I turned off the online and never turned it on again.

The campaign and the side quests seem entirely disjointed too. There's references of course, but most seem entirely pointless. First, there's some chess mini-games required for certain upgrades/100%, if you're not into chess, you can look up the solutions on youtube. There's a cup and ball street trick, three cups, one ball, you have to point out where the ball is at the end of a lengthy shuffle. You need three in a row to get to the next level, where the gamble stake goes up, and you need to complete several levels for the unlock. Fortunately, there's a graphical error where if you turn up your brightness and pause, the polygon outline of the ball can be seen through the cup allowing you to pass this chore. There's a free running game which is easy enough, an odd VR alien shooter which feels entirely out of place, there's additional games called "digital trips" which again, were a distraction I wasn't interested in. Convoys and fixer contracts were generally pretty simple, and there's so many of them they get repetitive by the end. The only reason to do them all isn't for enjoyment, but for trophies/achievements. Then, there's an annoying drinking game. In order to win, you need to control your cursor when it moves in erratic directions, hover over different targets, and press the corresponding buttons. In later levels, the buttons move and the requirement button changes. The whole thing gave me a headache trying to play it, and when you fail you wake up in a ditch in the wilderness around the town where the drinking game is, so you've got to run back and try again. I wasn't very good at this, and this is where I decided I'd never complete it, so I gave up on 100%'ing the game. This is also why I never returned to the online.

So, after all these pointless, annoying, infuriating distractions I went back to the main campaign. The characters and plot could have been far better, but there was decent variety in the missions. They were however heavily planned, in that there is clearly a set path you have to go through, there aren't often more than one alternative. At best, if it's intended for stealth and you're good at combat, you can kill your way through unless you cannot be detected without failing the mission. But, if combat isn't your thing, don't expect to be able to stealth/hack your way around it, at times you face endless swarms, impossible situations, and enemies who appear out of nowhere to chase you when you escape undetected. When this game wants you to have a fight or a car chase, there's no escaping it.

By the end, I'd gathered most collectibles, done many side missions, and completed the main quest. But that was about as much as I could stomach, the thought of having to go back and play the content I haven't finished seems like a chore rather than play. If this game is cheap, I'd definitely say go for it, especially if you're not a completionist and don't mind leaving side content unfinished. If you pick and choose, you can focus on the enjoyable parts and ignore the rest. In this case, I feel much of the extra content is there for padding reasons, and Ubisoft have forgotten to focus on making the extra content fun. I really do hope Ubisoft step back and go back to what made their past hits enjoyable, because both this and Assassins Creed: Black Flag felt like chores and errands stitched together with weak, almost non-existent, plot.

The multiplayer on the other hand was a nice refreshing play style of cat and mouse with the addition of hacking. Without giving away the story, I will say Watch Dogs is worth the buy if you enjoy fun open world gameplay with a neat multiplayer and are ok with a story that you can pay less attention to, then Watch Dogs is a game I recommend with a rating of 7/10. It's actually fun to roam around Chicago, there are plenty of activities to try, and gameplay is pretty solid. Sure, the whole hacking stuff boils down to pressing and holding a button, not as deep or complex as we thought, but it's quite fun to mess with traffic lights, gates, bridges or steam pipes during a chase to lose your pursuers, complete blackouts are also pretty awesome.

That being said, the story is just alright and that has a lot to do with Aiden being such a flat and uninteresting protagonist, it's just hard to care about what's going on with him. Supporting characters like Jordi and Clara definitely had potential but you don't even spend enough time with them to care about stuff that happens later in the game. Side missions can be fun but some of them quickly get repetitive as they offer little variation. This game was definitely overhyped and Ubi failed to deliver in some aspects, but I still had a good time playing it and don't think it deserved all the hate and low scores it received.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Kind of a fun little sandbox shooter, but in the end the story seems rushed to the finish with a boss fight that is more an impossibly ridiculous cop chase. The side missions were fun and some of the challenges were interesting, a little more intriguing than some you get from GTA and other sandbox shooters, but the game has some glaring flaws. The cover system is pretty rigid and at times when enemies are flanking you or say, throwing grenades, it can be frustrating and unforgiving. The enemies are fairly relentless and can be challenging in their complete lack of regard for their own safety, but at times they just sit in cover and pluck away until you come at them. All in all it's fun, but ultimately forgettable with a weak multiplayer system to back it up and as a premier launch title for the next gens, it looks like a ill omen. This game isn't an 8/10 with some quirks, it's an ok game that had a lot of man hours put into it, but in the end it was pulled out of the oven to early to make money on deadline. Good thing they have those ad agencies to sell this game to the magazine and big league reviewers to hype the masses, but check the score board. The gameplay can be super cool if you are the guy to like it, if you like shooting everyone in the face in an action-packed showdown against 50 enemies, this game may not be up your alley. If you instead like stealth and clever maneuvering this game is great. I would also like to point out that the car chases (ignoring the 'unusual' physics engine) are phenomenal and its always fun to run!

The physics aren't very good i have to say. The cars feel more like hovercrafts, way to heavy but slippery like **** bullets fly WAAYYY to slowly, And the freerunning mechanic just makes no sense most of the time. Although i mentioned that the bullets are unrealistic, the shooting itself feels more real than in most games, you die quickly and the recoil makes it fun and challenging!

The story is pretty generic and unforgettable, but i don't know if there will be an awesome twist or anything because i have not finished the game yet.

The graphics look ok, but not as good as promised.

The 3 things i love about this game are:

    1. The hacking mechanic is cool and revolutionary
    2. I love the 2d artstyle and the 3d minimap
    3. The online hacking is really fun to do and to get thrown into

Nevertheless, this review is for the game we did GET.

Gameplay-wise, Watch Dogs has all the basic mechanics of any open world game. You can walk, run, drive, swim, and shoot. And they all feel quite competent, but that's an expectation we all have of a company like Ubisoft. Who, despite my low score on this game is a publisher/developer I truly respect.

Where the game needed to shine was it's "hacking" and "stealth" mechanics. At first it introduces some truly fascinating ideas, but they are all truly simple in application and never deliver anything substantial that make the game stand out in compared to the competition.

Short and simple, Watch Dogs is a disappointment; one that I hope gets a sequel that improves upon the original and achieves the brilliance that I know resides somewhere inside.

Main character Aiden Pearson participates in an electronic bank heist at a hotel that goes wrong and ends with unknown Hitmen retaliating against Aiden. His niece, Lena is hospitalized after the cross firings and dies after being in coma for 2 months.

Watch Dogs has an interesting mechanic that’s main focus is on hacking. Aiden has the ability to access the CTOS and can manipulate his environment by using his smart phone that can hack into bank machines, security cameras, people’s phone calls and personal information such as occupation and salaries. The hacking also allows you to escape trouble by distracting guards and accessing their grenades.

Your phone can also be used while driving by opening gates, raising bridges and blowing steam pipes from the underground. The driving wasn’t very realistic, but I liked the arcade physics which were fun; however, the lack of combat options while driving is disappointing because you can’t fire out of the car window so you will end up driving around and hacking things to get rid of the enemy.

The shooting is solid but it is the stealth approach that is more rewarding as you can infiltrate secure locations filled with guards by accessing a camera in the building using your phone. You can then project yourself into another camera in the building within range. It is very important to connect with the main character; sadly this can’t be said about Aiden. I was surprised to see by how boring Aiden’s character was. His character was dry, forgettable and with no sense of humor, luckily the supporting casts are better.

The main campaigns length is around 35 hours and there is a lot of content throughout the game with many things to do like slot machines, drinking games, and chess. The surprising multiplayer is engaging with many fun modes. I personally enjoyed intrusion mode where you spawn into another player’s game session and hack them without being noticed.

Watch dogs had a lot of potential to be a great game, but the bland main character and weak story does affect the overall experience. Nevertheless, the game is fun with a lot of content for exploration and it cleverly mixes stealth, action and hacking that is entertaining.

In true Ubisoft fashion Watch_Dogs takes place in an open world, this world is filled with the most boring and bland stuff imaginable. After your 16th time stopping a random crime it starts to get boring. The campaign is where this game really shines and sadly it's hampered by some stages behind mind numbingly boring with ease or rage inducingly hard.
