    No spoilers. Story is terribly unplayable. I cannot relate to anything that's going on and after waiting so long for part 2 , going back and experiencing part 1 and having that band with characters is definitely not in part 2

    Story line is written by a 3 year old,the graphics are good as expected but naughty dog needs to remember what made last of us 1 so good is the perfect storyline. this game KILLS all of the characters you meet and then they come back from dead even when they take a headshots

    Im 20 hurs in the playthrough and the game is mesmerising. I loved the first one, and the second one is perfect in every way. The score downgraded by homophobic trolls that didnt even touch the game can shove their facist banners up their asses. This game is a gem.

    That doesn't mean the whole game is bad, the conversations come across and cringe as well as forced at times, like "Thanks, babe".... however the gameplay and cinemeatic experince is on point and I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy playing the game.

    People who review stuff from a biased standpoint, dont deserve a voice to begin with. Everything has pro's and cons, so people should get out of their echo chambers. Im glad I went in without being spoiled, otherwise it would of been hard to hold a unbiased viewpoint.    … Expand

I really liked the game and I advise everyone to buy it, because such games are extremely rare for obvious reasons related to their development. The game shows that the people who created the game put their soul into it. The LGBT agenda is there, but it’s very insignificant and you even don’t notice, because the summons in other games are much more obvious and spoil the game.… Expand

    1st Technically:
    I Encountered 3 Times Texture Load in, 1 Time a Prop popped in and popped out regarding to the degree you looked at it, 1 Time Texture Clipping in a Place you you probably shouldn't even go. So that's a Solid 5 "Bugs" I encountered which is really good and impressive. Loading Times if you Play the Game in one Piece are 0, and you don't even know when something is loading, but you realise when you open a cold Save how much the Game hast to Load.
    For that I Give the Game 9,9/10.

    2nd Visuals:
    The Game looks Gorgeous, the best a Game has ever looked on PS4, the Characters are amazingly Designed and Detailed. The World is Rich and Beautiful and the Zombie's are what bad Dreams are made off.
    A solid 10/10.

    3rd Gameplay:
    So the Main Gameplay Loop is, Go somewhere, find a way in Kill some People, story sequence and go again. Till the End it doesn't feel exhausting or to repetitive so that's good but I wish the made the ending come a bit faster, did not enjoy the last 3 Hours marching to the end, but fine. You can fine tune your difficulty Settings to your liking, more Loot but hardest Enemies, easy sneaking but if they find you you Dead, or hard sneaking with forgiving enemies. It's all there.
    The Survival Mechanic is very similar to the first one but a bit tweaked, You can choose different approaches to every fight, tho when you do it loud there are more enemies to fight then when you sneak. Weapon Ammo is very low even on the lowest Loot difficulty, you probably gotta use multiple weapons in one encounter, but you can mostly refill after them According to your loot difficulty. Capacity Upgrades don't let you hold more Ammo, just more in one magazine.
    I love the Guitar Minigame where you can play 30 Accords and every string solo. It's beautiful.
    So Gameplay Wise 9.1/10.

    4th Story:
    It left me Numb Laying in my Bed for hours. I did not enjoy the Ending. I did not enjoy the Character switch at first but I got warm with it, The Story punches you in your gut multiple times out of nowhere and so hard you can't even react to it. It's all fine till the End, A new Group just for a broken Ellies Revenge Trip? A Broken and Hatred filled Tommy that flames Ellie? I say No No. All the friends you had Killed and only one is left for both Sides ok I can Dig that, loose everything, and give out mercy in the last Moment and go Love your Live in Peace.
    Let me Craft you a better Ending, Cut right before Tommy gets Revealed and let him Die, Cut to Abby and let them find the firefly's and let them drive off with the Boat, cut to Ellie going Upstairs to Play the Guitar and reveal that she forgave Joel and that he died in Peace with Ellie. Game Credits Role, end Screen you can see that the Boat from Abby landed in Catalina and you can know they made it. Everyone is Happy in the End, after all that loss and the final mercy you can Rest Now. That Would be a fantastic Ending, something with a Message, that you should forgive and show mercy. And not your beloved Main Character becomes the Villain gets left by everyone and then don't even gets Her full Revenge and is left alone.
    So I would give the Story with my Ending which just cuts the Broken Revenge trip and Tommy a Solid 9/10. With the Ending the Devs made, I can't I don't know with that Ending nothing matters that Happened it's 3/10 at best. You can't make her a villain and then **** out. Go Big or go Home.

    So with a 9.9/10, a 10/10, a 9.1/10 and an 3/10 that's 32/40 or 8/10. So it should be my Final Score.

    Would Recommend but don't Play the Ending or Close your Eyes and Ears when Tommy is there and Stop Playing after Abby finishes the Call with the firefly. Look up the Last scene with Joel and bam a very good Ending and Game.    … Expand

The Graphics Are AMAZING & The Gameplay Is A Bit Clunky With Very Few Bugs, But Overall A Outstanding Improvement Upon The First Game. I Pre-Ordered The Game Despite The Leaks Simply Because I Wanted To Play It For Myself & Wanted Something Fresh To Play.. Since I’ve Pretty Much Beat Every Game I Have About Literally 3-5 Times. I Already Knew Exactly What I Was Getting Myself Into So I Can’t Be That Upset That I Wasted The $60. The Very Beginning Of The Game Was Great But I Was Quickly Shocked To See That You’d Already Be Playing Abby So Soon Into The Game.. I Decided To Keep A Open Mind & Let The Story Try To Change My Perspective On The Character. I Truly Don’t Understand Why Joel & Tommy Decided To Trust Abby So Quickly As To Give Up Their Names.. It Almost Felt Like I Was Watching Different Characters From The First Game. Once I Witness Joel’s Death I Instantly Wanted To Get Revenge Along With Ellie / Tommy & Couldn’t Wait Until I Could Finally Go Up Against The WLF (Wolf). The Details Of Every Death & NPCs Having Names / Backstories Never Really Affected Me Any Different From Any Other Game I’ve Played Tbh.. If Anything I Felt Like It Was Just A Nice Touch For It To Feel More Realistic. I Actually Enjoyed The First Half Of The Game.. At First I Loved The Flashbacks Scenes With Joel & Ellie (Basically Filler For What They’ve Been Doing The Past 4 Years Since The First Game) But It Quickly Got Old & It Just Kept Making Me Think About Joel’s Unjustifiable Death. Once I Reached A Little Over Halfway Into The Game I Thought I Reached The End.. Instead, It Switched To Abby’s Perspective Of The Past 3 Days (With A Lot Of Flashbacks) To Basically Try As Hard As It Can To Make Me Like The Character But It Wasn’t Really Working.. If Anything I Can At Least Respect Why Abby Killed Joel. If I Didn’t Accept That I Would Be A Hypocrite For Thinking Ellie Should Have Killed Abby.. What I Don’t Understand Is Why She Didn’t. If You Think Playing As Abby Is Bad The Ending Is Much Worse..     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved TLOU and went in this game blind and didn’t look at any leaks. I also didn’t believe how bad the Story was based on the leaks and fan reactions. That is how much I loved TLOU. I gave every benefit of doubt to them believing that the master piece they made will continue I mean uncharted never disappointed me.

    But. First a little rant before the review.

    Joel dies in the first hour of the game. The man I waited to play as for this long was denied to me. The man we all fell in love with in TLOU. But His death serves nothing but a shallow plot line of revenge which could have been anyone else but Joel and it would still have worked. I mean just kill Dina she served no real story reason in the game. The story.

    The story was very shallow and full of plot holes. It’s about Ellie looking for revenge for Joel’s death. That’s it. And guess what, she does not take revenge for Joel’s death at the end by letting go of the person who killed Joel for no reason. Yes half way through the game you will change too play as the killer Abby for around 10 hours trying to show the bond with the group that “really hated” Joel which you won’t see in this story. You then go as Abby to do a side quest saving some children which again serves no actual meaning for the overall story as they become irrelevant the moment they were introduced. But when it changes back to Ellie, only the player experienced the 10hours of game and story with Abby, there should not have been a change of heart for Ellie to suddenly not take her revenge! She has nothing on Abby, she literally met her for 10 minutes and then decided killing her was not right. I would also like to point out that Joel’s death was very out of his character trusting some random stranger out in the woods which he made very clear he never did in the first game. I really hated the story, abhorred it. Two female leads with one that was forcibly shoved to our face even though we never asked for it. I could go on how bad the story is but there are reviews that go much more in-depth than me so I’ll leave it there.

    Gameplay.

    The gameplay feels exactly the same as the first game. Yes some upgrades are done to the gameplay. But, the overall experience is exactly the same. It is still very hard to aim properly with your gun, the hand to hand combat is still as shallow button mashing with occasional QTE prompt to dodge. They added a jump button which also serves no purpose as all the actual part that need navigating is still very automatic. You can’t grab higher ledges cos of you jump, you can’t jump over stuff because you can jump . I pretty much forgot about the jump button Zero minutes into the game and was surprised half way through the game when I accidentally pressed the wrong button and jumped whiling fighting a horde clickers. Oh yes. The enemies do not change much. I can’t remember exactly what 1 had but this game still has the same trope with some dogs and new silent enemies introduced. Doesn't change the 25 hour experience in much anyway.

    There is jarringly a lack of environmental puzzles also. So the game revolves around getting from A to B with not much in the middle. Some small areas are more opened up for you to explore but by the time your hoarding the Nth house, it also gets boring and you realize very fast that there is only so much there is in any building that’s not in the main road. A water bottle, tape, pills and the same thing again.

    I did get bored half way through the game and just wanted to rush to the end so I was finished with the game and this kind of experience is awful to have in a game.

    Graphics and sound.

    This is where it shines. The environment and sound is absolutely gorgeous nothing to say about this much. You will love it if it’s for the music or graphics. It is probably the best looking PS4 game to date. I’m surprised they could make everything so detailed.

    Conclusion.

    This game made the worst fears of fans into reality. They kill the main protagonist and shove some random person to force you to like with very little character development (forgot to mention the whole game goes through only 3 days ingame time). Your struggle is irrelevant through out the game as the ending denies all that you were playing for. If this is what SJW stands for in gaming I’m afraid for the future of gaming.     The game is not as bad as it seems. Sure, the story could’ve been a bit better but it wasn’t overall that bad. I enjoyed the game a lot and am hoping for some more story dlc and maybe even return the multiplayer. Overall I think this game is a 10/10

    This game is getting an amount of hate that I find shocking and absurd. The gameplay has improved (in my opinion) with more items to craft and more skills to be learnt, and the graphics are stunning. The enemies are now stronger and harder to kill too, which adds appropriate tension and excitement for a survival game, as well as dread; there's also a bigger variety of infected, with more stalkers making an appearance as well shamblers.

    The thing people are getting mad about is Joel's death, which I understand because it was brutal and heart-wrenching. However, considering he killed over 100 people in just the first game which spanned over the course of a year, imagine how many more he killed in the remaining 20 years since the day the infection broke out... It's really awful to say but it was only a matter of time before someone tracked him down and killed him, and whilst it would be nice if he died defending Ellie, he was not a good man, and at some point those deaths he caused would come back around to bite him in the ass. Nothing is fair or nice in a post-apocalyptic world. So, yes his death was brutal and heartbreaking, but in a lawless world where it's kill or be killed, eventually if you keep racking up enemies you're gonna be on the receiving end of that stick. No reason to hate on a game and its developers just because your favourite character died. It's the apocalypse, **** happens and no one's ever safe.

    Another thing people got butthurt over is Ellie being gay. I won't go off on a tangent on that because that's stupid, if you're gonna refuse to play a brilliant videogame just because there's a gay couple in it you need to pull your head out of your ass and grow up. If it was a guy and a girl you'd have no problem so I don't see why it's "pushing an agenda" to have two girls dating in a videogame.

    As for the story, I found it masterful. We were initially presented with Abby, a character who we instantly hated because of her abuse of a golf club. I hated her too and couldn't wait to kill her, until I played as her and got to see her story; got to see her as a human who is more than just a villain, and I became attached to her and Lev. I think the game did a brilliant job of showing how quick we are to demonise someone who wrongs us even though we've only seen one side of the story. It makes me wonder what it would have been like if in the first game, rather than living the story of a man travelling with a girl across America and then changing his mind about delivering her, we had lived the story of a girl who found her dad (and countless colleagues) dead at the hands of a man who wasn't willing to give up the life of a girl for the sake of all of humanity. Would we have hated Joel and Ellie as we hated Abby? Would we have relished when Abby found and finally killed Joel? Everything is about perspective, and both Abby and Ellie are heroes in their own stories and villains in each others' for equally valid reasons. They both lost family and friends to the other but thankfully they both came out alive; it's just unfortunate that Ellie was consumed by her obsession with revenge. It was unexpected and sad, but then again the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak was also unexpected and quite horrific. Again, it's the apocalypse and **** happens.

    Overall, I've waited 7 years for this, and I'm absolutely not disappointed, thank you Naughty Dog for making yet again such a fantastic game.    … Expand

    The game looks great and I do love the wide variety of accessibility features they added.     We get so see a few beautiful Ellie-Joel moments in flashbacks (Ellie and Joel in the museum is easily the best part of the game). Sadly these flashbacks don't make the player feel better about TLoU2, since they only serve as a reminder of what this game could have been .    … Expand

    Gameplay hasent changed much from the last game which i find pretty sad. After 7 years I was hoping for some improvements especially to those clunky aiming mechanics. They also had almost no enviornmental puzzles like in the first game which dident help much with giving the gameplay loop some variety. You pretty much just sneak around while stealth killing people for most of the game which does get pretty boring after a while.

    The story was the most disappointing part of the game. I never played the last of us for it's gameplay for me it was always about the story. The first game is probably the most satisfying story in any game that I have played so far so I had high hopes for this one but sadly it did not deliver at all. The pacing feels at times really wonky and parts of the story just appear really forced. Joel's death felt very hollow, instead of a stark emotional moment it felt draining and did not really make me want to play more of this game. I was sure from the beginning that at some point joel would lose his live somehow but I did not expect this to happen in the first 2 hours of the game. The last of us 1 was so amazing because of the interactions and chemistry between Joel and Ellie. The little conversations they had while you traversed the world made it feel so much more alive while in this you mostly walk around alone talking to yourself from time to time but that is about it.

    The second half of the game just feels like a giant poorly written sidequest where you get to play as Abby the person who murdered Joel. Naughty Dog tries to humanize the people you are hunting down with a 10 hour side adventure. I feel like this part could have been much shorter and in the end was a bit unnecessary. From the beginning I was sure that Abby's group where also just normal people like everyone else that had a good reason for hunting Joel but some of their characters are just written so shallow that you still dont care about most of them in the end.

    The end of this game just feels like a cop out and I still wish they would give you the option to just drown Abby. They try to throw a final gut punch by showing a flashback of Joel where Ellie decides to try and repair their relationship shortly before he died. This could have been shown at the beginning of the game to give some depth to Ellies quest for vengeance since they make it appear for most of the game that they had been estranged at the point where he was killed. This feels like a sad attempt to get an undeserved emotional response from the player since the ending is anything other then satisfying.

    All in all this game has been a big disappointment, it lost most of the charm that made the first last of us such a unique and wonderful experience. You will barely interact with Joel except for a few flashbacks even tough the trailers make it appear as if he has a bigger part in the story which I found such a waste of a great character.    … Expand

TLOU2 was for me 21hours of one epic ride full of emotions and I'm super glad, that devs let us play as Abby to get to know her and see what happened on the other side of story.
    Graphic 10/10, Audio 10/10, Cast 10/10, Gameplay 10/10, Writting&Story 9,5/10 (only because I would like to know what happened to Ellie and Abby after this ending).

She is so dumb, she simply can't understand how much he **** up and doesn't realise Abby could be just someones daughter. So she is going to **** it up much more and kill every Abby's friend... 　
    In the end, they both lost everything because of Ellie's revenge(before it, it was only Joel and Abby's dad so 1:1). But I wished that only to Ellie after the Abby's part of the game.

I can understand why people hate how the story played out. The story was conflicting to me but I liked it. I like the new elements added and the amount of customization in the settings to play your way. Custom controls. Aids. Visuals. It's a lot for a console game. The pacing was good. It got a bit slow before I realize I only had beaten half the game.

    The game makes you see what happened from both protagonists perspective. You feel bad for Ellie. But it makes you also feel sympathy for Abby. It's so conflicting.

    You get so angry at Abby for killing Joel. And especially after Ellie let her live at the end. But you also have to remember, it was unfortunately Joel's actions that led to this. Joel stopped the vaccine from happening. He basically destroyed the fireflies. He killed Abby's father.

    And also remember, Ellie hated Joel for making the choice for her. She wanted to die on that table. Abby in turn for what she did, basically lost everything. Four of her friends were killed in the hands of Ellie and Tommy. And she got the crap beaten out of her to the point of pleading for her life.

    We all hate Abby for what she did to Joel. I cried when he died, but ultimately it was his own fault for what happened.

The death of your old main character did not matter if the story was well written, which is not in the case this game. The ending was awful and left a lot to be desired. The game mechanics and control felt clunky and showed little to none improvement from the first game or the last Naughty Dog games, Uncharted 4. The AI is decent but felt a little bit like a downgrade then the previous title. The only redeemable side of this game was the graphics and the design.     Нам дают возможность поиграть за Элли, Джоела (вначале) и Эбби. Убийство Джоэла просто вызывает чувство, что вот Элли то отомстит, но какое-же нас ждет дальше разочарование.
    Если кратко описывать сюжет, то половина игры, когда мы играем за Элли, выглядит довольно-таки неплохо. Но когда дают сыграть за убийцу Джоэла( этакую почти бесчувственную машину для убийств) тебе не хочется ей сопереживать вообще. И разработчик такой, лэээ сопереживай там, да. К моменту прохождения, на 12 часу тебя просто тошнит от игры, даже если ты смотришь ее на Ютубе.
    2/10 и только за тот рабский труд, о котором все забыли. Было очень много сканадалов на эту тему. Что ж Псы теперь корпорация Зла, надеюсь геймдевы когда-нибудь поймут насколько все это СЖВ вшитое говно губит игры. И да я всегда нейтрально относился к меньшиствам. После этой игры - мое отношение крайне негативное, спасибо куколду Нилу и его поехавшей фемке. Надеюсь за 6 лет его подлизываний, Анита наконец даст ему понюхать ее вареник !

This is a modern narrative, with lots of realistic feelings and good characters, not made for kids or ignorant trumpists.

    我还是支持顽皮狗再这个顺应市场的游戏业界内做出这样的反市场的作品 有尝试才有突破。

And the gameplay while being nothing special is still pretty good, if you like the gameplay of TLoU 1 you will like 2. But aside from a few other superficial positives that's about it. The cons on the other hand are devastating, I get what they were going for with their anti-revenge narrative but they completely counteract that by having you mercilessly kill dozens of people to find Abby without a second thought only to say violence is bad when you find Abby herself. In the end the point comes across more as it's okay to kill all of the people around the person who wronged you or a loved one, but that person themselves is off limits. It does have wonderfull graphics, an amazing story, a solid gameplay and it makes you think. Also it have a decent dificult campaing with faster and intelingent enemies that'll make you pay for being stupid. The only negative point is the camera too close that makes you take damage just because you can't see the enemy behind quick enough to avoid them. Don't be fooled for negative post about the game. Joel died and Ellie is gay. Now deal with it. People dies everyday and don't pretend the world have no lesbian engagement. These sick people complaining about the history should be ashamed of themselves.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I waited for this game more than 5 years. I played the first part maybe 14-15 times. It was the second game I ever pre-ordered. I only watched few trailers not to spoil the game too much. I spent 24h to finish the game, I think.

    Sooo... (I'll put some spoilers at the very end of the review to explain what I didn't like about this game. It's up to you to decide if you wanna read them. I'll also talk about relations between characters so there might be few minor spoilers down here. Just in case I warned you. Don't read it you haven't played The last of us 1 tho)

    Gameplay is fluid, fast, smooth and responsive. It's same as it used to be but improved. New infected and new organisations/cult are pretty damn neat. Graphics it's top notch, I mean, it's Naughty Dog.
    There are few moments in the story where Ellie is just a badass but sadly the pros end here.

    The game is simply bad, the characters aren't as they used to be. Of course that is normal but the story doesn't even try to show us how they changed due to what happened in the beginning. The first game built tension in an interesting and fascinating way. Ellie used to be... well a kid. She was curious at first, fascinated by how the world looks outside of the Boston QZ. Joel was basically a man who had no reason to live, didn't care about people. He was closed and cold. The first game shows perfectly how they changed. How Ellie was touched by what happened during the winter. How Joel opened up to her and that was simply beautiful.
    New characters aren't interesting at all. Most of them don't have time to shine and that's just disappointing.

    I'll just say that first half of the game is great. If you decide to buy it you'll understand why. It has a lot to do with the playable character.

    Before I finish this with review with big spoilers I just wanted to say that. yes. I did not expect that the characters hugged each other kissed and lived happily ever after. In the first game I expected Joel and Ellie to save the humanity but the ending we got was even better. It was a "good bad ending".
    Now the ending of the second game... It's just bad. Badly written.

    *Big spoilers ahead*

    So yea... Joel dies at the very beginning. They disrespected him like he was not important at all but I get that it was essential for Ellie to go after Abby.
    Now... Abby. I think this is the worst character in any game Naughty Dog has ever made. The problem is, you play as her like 65% of the game. She's not awful cause she killed Joel. She has no character. She's just poorly written. There was only 1 time when she said something that made me like her. I officially started to dislike her when Owen cheated on Mel with Abby and oh my god that sex scene... Just no. That wasn't funny at all.
    She was literally happy when she found out Dina was pregnant before she tried killing her. Thanks god for Lev. He and his sister along Dina were the only characters I actually liked and found interesting.
    Now comes the parts after Seattle. Tommy cared about Ellie almost as much as Joel did. And he just gets pissed at her cause she didn't keep her promise? That's not how Tommy would act.
    The ending is just awful. Ellie let's Abby go, we don't know if she finds Fireflies at the end. Ellie probably lost Dina and JJ.
    One thing that I liked at the end is Ellie realising how much she lost cause of vengeance. The scene where she couldn't play her guitar anymore.

    Some people think this game changed to pander to some people. I honestly don't think so. I support the LGBTQ+ community. I AM a part of it but trust me no one wanted this except the author of the game.
    I think they were more interested in designing Abby's arm muscles than developing an interesting plot and story. Seriously even if Ellie or Joel died at the end (let's just imagine it went this way) with good writing, well planned story, interesting plot and characters it could've worked. How many games are out there where the protagonist dies at the end or generally games with bad ending? A lot, and a lot of this games are considered good. Not every game needs a happy ending. But every games needs a good written ending.

    So, I think that's all. For huge fans like me, no I don't recommend this game. Watch it on youtube or wait til it's way cheaper like £15 and then try it.
    To be honest I'm personally not disappointed but heartbroken. The first game meant a lot to me. And I'm serious a lot. It's still my n.1 game of all times I'm just gonna either pretend the second part didn't happen or hope the third part will fix everything. If there's ever gonna be a third part...

    In the end, I respect people who like and dislike the game. Everyone has their own taste and a matter of being a good game and a bad one is simply subjective.    … Expand

It’s ironic to me how many people complain about the social politics aspect of the game, and choose to hate it for that reason. And frankly it handles it’s violent world better than the first game. It’s not necessarily meant to be “fun” but it’s definitely entertaining. Or engaging. Whatever term you prefer. As far as these negative reviews go, it kinda seems as though most of them are either complaining about a game they haven’t even played, or about the social political aspects (art is inherently political you jokers. Your own politics are your own problem.), or complaining about how depressing it is. I don’t really consider these complaints valid, because few games are made to this degree of quality or polish. And even fewer games tell stories with this amount of believable emotional depth. Oh yes, there are characters I dislike, and character decisions that pissed me off. But it all felt justified and real. (My biggest overall complaint from a plot/story perspective is that 20 or so years of post apocalypse in reality wouldn’t be enough for this level of societal degradation. Cults already having full blown martyrs, and referring to infected people as demons? Sooo ridiculous. Made the cult come off as a bunch of over enthusiastic LARPers. But that’s all theoretical.)

    From a gameplay perspective, it’s kinda silly how easily a crowbar can break, or how little ammo you carry. Yet you’ll have like seven different projectile weapons with you. Why would ammo ever be scarce in America? But these are minor complaints compared to the gameplay excellence on display in this game. It’s so damn smooth. The encounters have great variety. The locations and level design is top- notch. Even if I hated the game, I couldn’t justify not giving it a perfect score. At the very least, it’s one of the best designed games ever made, with a story crafted to be the purpose behind all of it.    … Expand

    The game looks great and the gameplay is really good. But the big problem as you know is the story. The problem is that you have to play as Abby for 10+ hours in the game. Being forced to kill dogs and bad story choices.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
