    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Пройдя данную рыготу, я понял, что больше ни в один шквал от Naughty Dog играть я не буду. Да, я был поражён детализацией, ох*ренной графикой и мельчайшим деталям, меня бросало в дрожь из за флешбэков Элли, но это ЕДИНСТВЕННОЕ, за что мне понравилась игра, как и всем людям.
    Про волосатые подмышки, выстрел девушке в ногу после чего она может бегать прыгать как не знаю Кто. Как Джоэла поставили на колени и просто убили самым наипозорнешим способом на глазах буквально у дочери, убийство Томми тоже самым идиотским способом... Два героя, которые в первой части сражались плечом к плечу и даже по одиночке разносили просто целые банды бандитов, оравы щелкунов и бегунов, унизила какая-то накаченная под белками самодовольная мразота. А все это перечисленное из за кого? Правильно, из за КОЕ КАКОЙ ХОРОШЕЙ ПОДРУГИ НИЛА ДРАКМАНА, ГОРЕТЬ В АДУ ЭТОЙ МР*ЗОТЕ. Люди из студии убивали себя буквально внутри, создавая данную игру, люди которые работали над первой частью когда работали над второй, буквально не выносили этот БРЕД и уходили из компании. Они просто не могли смотреть как герои, которые стали душой первой части, умирают как псы от рук какой-то накаченной прошмандовки. Разработчики не могли вынести этот идиотизм, эту мразотность ситуации.
    С концовкой полный пиздец. Естественно это прямой намёк на третью часть, я с Лешкой соглашусь, НО ЭТО САМЫЙ.ИДИОТСКИЙ.КОНЕЦ.КОТОРЫЙ.Я.ВИДЕЛ.
    Отомстить и переубивать человек 100 ради единственного человека, который дал тебе шанс на жизнь, который любил тебя и был для тебя как отец, а ты для него как дочь, и уже поздно осознать, что ты натворила из за этой мести и оставить в живых убийцу ФАКТИЧЕСКИ твоего отца и дяди, и при этом потерять любимого человека и остаться ни с чем - сверх идиотизм.
    Смысл понятен прекрасно - за местью погонишься, без всего останешься, это понятно всем, но ради такой концовки делать игру несколько лет? Сверх идиотизм.
    История о том, как я начал ненавидеть всей клеточкой своей души феминизм во всех его проявлениях где бы он ни был.
    Игру ждал 5 лет, и в компании naughty dog я полностью разочаровался.

    Il gioco mi ha fatta emozionare in tutte le vie sebbene sia difficile da deglutire per i fan. Devo ancora riprendermi da parecchie scene presenti nel gioco, soprattutto dal finale... grazie naughty dog per questo capolavoro, grazie per tutto l’impegno che ci avete messo anche per farci soffrire alla grande :,) Vi meritate questo dieci e spero che voi possiate darci altro!

    The fact that 1/3 of the game you play with a character that we don't even care about. And this is not talked about is mind blowing. For me it turned from a 10/10 game... to a boring filler 0/10. not only I don't want to play with that character... her story is not interesting... and it is basically what happened in those 3 days from her perspective. I already know what happened!

If they don't die immediately like this game likes to do. They develop like a fine wine. And the dialogue is good at times, but it often is really mediocre.

    Definitely not as good as the last game. And Ellie has lost all of her wit and funny comments. She does not feel as smart as the game before. And the pacing as often too fast for me to really feel something for characters, but some get more screen time then others. Characters are more introduced then built up, and after they are introduced it feels like Ellie has known them for some years already.

    It often feels like things are forced upon the story like love, death and sorrow. And sometimes it feels downright disrespectful against the first game. And in some circumstances while playing this game I myself did not want to play anymore because of certain decisions.

    There are really no interesting characters. Either characters are innocent or they are evil. There is no inbetween crazy or funny. The game feels way to generic, and often not thought out. In some cases I was left wondering why they did certain things.

    The gameplay is also good, but it feels a lot like The Last Of Us. You can dodge and prone. But besides that they did not introduce anything new gameplay wise. Witch is fine by me, I always liked how the game played. Mainly because I was so interested in the story, but in The Last Of Us 2 I felt myself playing just for knowing the whole story. I did not enjoy it, and it felt like doing a task at work. Fun.

    I could come up with a better story in mere minutes/hours then to make everything about revenge and killing. But I am not going to spoil anything.

    They somehow made this game look stunning, but nobody knew about good storytelling? What did all of the story writers quit their job? I'm sure this game paid for good reviews, because the story/plot is so bad a 5yr old could come up with better.

    The game rushes from one thing to another too fast and people die way to fast.

    1/5 because the gameplay, dialogue and graphics are great, but the story and it's decisions is just terrible. And that is the whole point of a single player experience. Such a unfortunate game, and spitting on Joel is the worst thing ever.
    I can't recommend this game to anybody because it has such a terrible story.
    This is like got season 8, just makes you angry playing. Sorry, I can't believe it either. I heard Bruce Straley and Amy Henning quit and many other talented people. So there is probably a bunch of computer nerds left, who know nothing about story. So the game looks great and gameplay is good. As far as the technical aspects, the game is scarcely an improvement to the original. The graphics are updated and the combat has some new features and items, but it plays more like an expansion with mods than a standalone game. The writing in this game represents a disturbing trend in modern gaming. Similar to Final Fantasy 7 Remake, we are seeing more and more studios abandon the source material in almost overt attempts to subvert audience expectations for its own sake. It is the writing equivalent of clickbait. Innovation is welcome, but subversion for its own sake is childish and demonstrates only contempt for source materials rather than passion. The dev team can be quoted as saying they intentionally made story and art decisions they believed would be the opposite of what players would want. Ask yourself, do you want to play a game that developers designed to be frustrating and unsatisfying?

    Think of what you could do with $60. You could buy groceries, buy your significant other a nice gift, spend it on yourself for a day off, put it in savings, or invest it. Naughty Dog's answer to "why do we deserve your money?" is: because we will make your main character gay, make the antagonist a muscular woman, and add trans-people. Bravo, Druckmann. This is not activism. This is pandering. Learn the difference, Naughty Dog.

    The only redeeming aspect of this game is the effort put into it by the programmers. 2/10    … Expand

    Es perfecto. El gameplay es maravilloso, muy gratificante jugarlo. Gran cantidad de secretos. Invita mucho a la exploración. Sigue teniendo ese toque de terror en algunas partes de sigilo que te hielan la sangre. Muy contento con el juego.

    Horrible intro and an even worse ending. They could've easily made a game comprised of Ellie+Joel's flashbacks and that would've been enough. I don't care about the amazing graphics when I'm forced to play half of the game as a buffed up psycho I have no sympathy for. I'm tired of seeing weak ass feminist plots. The gaming industry needs to wake the hell up.

Обещали невероятную историю, "такого еще никогда не делали", а на деле оказалась предсказуемая унылая байка про месть коих пруд пруди. Не логичные поступки персонажей, куча сюжетных дыр, приправленые ЛГБТ повесточкой-это то, что вы получите на самом деле покупая эту "игру", и вот не надо брызгать пеной изо рта и говорить что "это глубокая история про то, как месть разрушает человека, а на СЖВ просто не обращайте внимания", если бы они внятно прописали характер этих персонажей тогда бы никаких придирок не возникло, но на деле их добавили просто чтобы они были, как всегда впрочем, а история про то, что месть разрушаетчеловека отнюдьне нова, и ложь разработчиков про "уникальный сюжет" никак не оправдывает. По сюжету вроде бы все. Что касается геймплея, то он на удивление хорош, но от первой части не сильно отличается. Единственное что в этой игре стоит внимания, так это проработка и дизайн уровней. Лично у меня надежда на этот проект с треском провалилась, если вы покупаете игры ради геймплея, может вас чем-то эта игра заинтересует, но если вас, как и меня, интересовал в первую очередь сюжет, то эта игра определённо не заслуживает ни ваших денег ни времени проведённого за ней темболее.… Expand

    The journey that we are called to undertake will make us feel on our skin all the emotions that the protagoinists will experience, their mood, their sufferings, and their cold blood in carrying out certain actions. What about excellent animations, certainly superior to those of the first chapter, excellent artificial intelligence, infected enemies who better use their hearing that will identify us even at the slightest noise. The atmosphere created in the rooms is of the highest level, with great play of light and shadow. The only thing that made my nose turn up are the various time swaps between past and present which tend to make the player's narration and understanding confusing.    … Expand

    Is this a joke? I thought the rumors were false, but by spending more and more hours on it, the disappointment was only growing. We waited 7 years for this disappointment? How sad. The end is a shock to me, how is it possible to reach such a disappointing end? The political stakes kill the game.

    Das Spielt sieht fantastisch aus. Die Story braucht zu Beginn etwas bis sie in Fahrt kommt, daher ein kleiner Abzug, aber ich mag die Umsetzung na und auch die Ausgestaltung der Charaktere. Was anfangs für Spieler des ersten Teils etwas befremdlich wirkt, wird durch gelungen platzierte Rückblenden, in die Zeit zwischen den Teilen, gut abgefangen. Und wer Anstoß an der sexuellen AusprägungDas Spielt sieht fantastisch aus. Die Story braucht zu Beginn etwas bis sie in Fahrt kommt, daher ein kleiner Abzug, aber ich mag die Umsetzung na und auch die Ausgestaltung der Charaktere. Ну а потом уже выпускать part ll. Скажу честно, я просто не мог играть игру, это очень тяжело. Когда играешь за Эбби, и бьёшь Элли: я просто специально пару часов умирал за неё, потому что я не мог совершать те действия, которые мне навязали! Игра оставила двоякие впечатления, но все же, ND молодцы в плане гейм дизайна и жуткой атмосферы, которая держит до самого конца игры. Надеюсь студия выпустит часть, где главный герой Эбби, чтобы она смогла приглушить ту боль, что принесла ИГРА! Naughty Dog Plz translate my opininion and MAKE A NOTE IT!!!… Expand

    El juego en sí, en la parte gráfica gusto mucho, jugabilidad buena. La historia si que la embarraron... a partir de la muerte de Joel se dieron dos situaciones, Joel es como que el 50% alma del juego y no debió morir el, al morir Joel ellie solo busca venganza y en eso se basa el juego, ellie solo busca venganza, y esa no es la trama del juego.

    Il doppiaggio in inglese è perfetto quello in Italiano non mi piace molto specialmente per la scelta della voce di Dina. Comunque lo consiglio a tutti.

    How ND treated the past story and characters with no respect made this a bad game. How they ruined all the momentum from the last game made this a bad game. How the story was badly executed made this a bad game. I actively hated this experience and regret finishing it.

But I’m afraid anyone who enjoyed the story and characters of the first game will be sorely disappointed with the direction of this one. It seems as though the team at naughty dog have taken it upon themselves to look at everything positive from the first one and flip it on its head. The Story choices just seem bizarre and nonsensical, having a certain beloved character be beaten to death by the most macho woman I’ve ever seen and then have to play as said character just made me want to quit right there, playing as Abby was horrendous after killing Joel I Had no sympathy for the character no emotional connection, I just can’t get my head round why the people at naughty dog thought this would be a good idea. All in all visually it’s beautiful but I’m afraid that’s it’s only redeeming quality because everything else truly stinks, I just feel sorry for fans who’ve waited over 7 years for something that is truly terrible.… Expand

    The Last Of Us Part 2 is an absolute masterpiece of a game, the care, detail and the creation of new characters and their individual development just show the skill of the Naughty Dog, the game worthy of many Game awards, such as GAME OF THE YEAR.

    The game kind of just takes you around in a circle, and forces you to play as and meet characters you really don’t care about. A majority of the game is super boring and repetitive, and the only good part is the stunning visuals and graphics.

    Basically 3/10 only because of how the game looks, the story is hugely flawed and has no satisfaction to it. Huge disappointment.

    Personal rating 8.9/10 due that trailers from in game context look way better. Objective rating 10/10 because the graphics are probably one of the best graphics out on PS4. Nothing more to say here. The game looks just fantastic

    Gameplay: 9/10
    Nothing objective or personal here. The gameplay is similar to the previous title. You either like it or you hate it. It has some major improvements in the fighting animations and the intelligence of the NPCs. Your partner is not running around anymore and is actually trying to hide too. The enemies are now more intelligent but still far away from being a threat to you. They turnaround now while on patrol but when they have spotted you the searching is for you is still way to gameish but that's criticizing on a high scale. The zombies on the other hand are now way more threatening. In total a deserved 9/10.

    Atmosphere: 10/10
    Sound + graphics are already pretty awesome. On top of that the talking with the characters are creating a feeling, that those persons really exist and not just run around until they interact in the next cutscene. Small animations like wishing water out of the face after entering a waterfall or swimming are just an example for the smaller details. Another one would be the face expressions when fighting enemies (not cutscene – real game play). The chapters with zombies in it are separated into wide and small areas. In wide areas you are in control. Most likely easy kills. In smaller areas you feel like not wanting to make any noise. If so then good luck fighting and armada. Many things to explore besides main quest. There is just one big bad thing about the atmosphere and that's the story at some points.

    Personal score: 0/10. The advertisements are just fake news. It looks like Joel is promised to be a big role in the sequel in terms of being alive and he dies within the first 15% of the game. I totally disliked it. I am forced to play the murderer which just looks unrealistic as **** A female head with a body of a man who has been in the gym for years. I do know that females and men can be that strong but not in a post apocalyptic world. You are forced to build up your stamina and not hulk smash skulls in my opinion and yes the female is killing the majority with neck or skull breaks. Even though I disliked Joel's death, the chase is an interesting concept. The sad thing is that the following cutscenes are just bad written. If you find someone from the murderers group then you are loosing the control of the situation because of bad story writing and you are forced to kill those people in a bad way. You have a gun you lose control and it ends in a knife kind of battle which the bad people lose. That was Ellis bad side.
    Abbys story is for me not interesting at all so straight 0/10 for me. First ending would have been a 6/10 in total. That's when you and abby have the first fight which you lose and she let you alive. You life a ok life on a farm with Dina and her child. Forced ending -5/10. Literally even worse than Black Ops 3 story in my opinion. You are forced to chase Abby again. Before that you lose Tommy because he dislikes you for saying you wont chase Abby again and you lose Dina for breaking your words and going after Abby. You find her and you get the last boss battle which you win with 2 fingers bitten off. You let her go for some reason and are left with no friends and not being able to play guitar anymore.
    Objective score 3/10. Joels death is justified for the story's plot. It also makes somewhat of sense that this can happen. Killing hundreds of people and than being hurt by killing someone in a cutscene doesn't make sense at all. Same with the ending. 7/10 still for first ending were the cutsences better then it could have been a 9/10. With the forced ending it's a 3/10

    Total score 7.5 if every aspect has the same weight. For me the story is the most important aspect in a story driven adventure game. That's why I rate it with a 6/10. Without the ending 2 it could have been a 8/10 – it ruins the game.    … Expand

Sí tengo que decidir entre la narrativa del 1 y este, me quedo con el 1. Pero eso no le quita mérito, esta historia está muy al nivel de cualquier otra. Además cualquier apartado del juego destaca brillantemente, empezando por los enormes gráficos, que están pulidos a más no poder; la banda sonora, que en otra entrega más vuelve a sorprender; la jugabilidad que si bien, es muy parecida a la anterior, es mucho más fluida, inmersiva y intuitiva, creo que mejorar más de lo que ya era, era extremadamente complejo, y lo lograron, tal vez, no en la mejor medida, pero esto convence y mucho.

    Obviamente la flaqueza del juego es su guión... Personalmente me dolió la despedida de Joel tan cruel, y muy injusta, como para el personaje que era en la saga, pero que sí te pones a pensar, no era algo de extrañar, principalmente por todos los enemigos que hizo en la primera entrega debido a su brutalidad....

    Y bueno... El final es otro punto que no tocaré ya que sé que muchos no han jugado el juego.

They dont treat Joel, a 60+ year old man who used to kill and steal from inocents, as a demigod so loved that he can trick death, insted they kill him as the human he is. I also enjoyed Abby's story, as it shows us how after all she is just as Joel, a survivor that eighter kills or dies and will do anything for his group. The end is the most logical move they could make. Ellie finally sees what she did, and understands killing Abby wont change anything, so she breaks the vengeance loop that started with the death of Abby's dad. The end is probably the most symbolic part, as it shows Ellie leaving Joel's guitar behind. Overall a pretty good story, no matter how much you loved Joel… Expand

    The graphics are superb and the gun/fighting is fun and the exploration is refined.

    Now for the bad:

    The story has no weight in it, in the first u had the all humanities future in ur hands and in this one u have NOTHING u get the feeling of wanting revenge, thats for sure but 2 hours in u loose it.

    The AI of ur partners are soooooo god damn stupid, most of the time i was trying to sneak kill some guys and Dina or Jesse would just block my way, since u cant push them or ghost them (pass through them as air) it often ended in my death.

    Sometimes you play as Abby which is the main villain, the thing is that she is so bad of a person that u FEEL BAD for playing her, she does very very bad things.

    There is alot more **** to complain but i have to go play lifeline on ps2.

People that defends this game just because of the graphics are indeed stupid. Graphics don't make the game, storylines do, mechanics do, etc.

    Not even 3 hours of game and they just kill Joel, with a freaking golf stick. He at first saves a member of some group and after that the hole group goes to a house, which Joel never have been there before! In the previous game we see how Joel is never confident about his location, he never feels comfortable, always doubting about everything, being always one step ahead about all situations, he is savage. But now, in this game, it's weird how a smart man transformed into a neglected man. He deserved better. Or even a honorable death if it's the "only" way to continue a story. A man that we all cared about, and we see his death in this miserable way, it hurts to see, to be honest.

    They also did false advertising in the trailer, putting in a lot of moments Joel, making it seem like he was going to live all along. But that of course didn't happen.
    Later Ellie looks for revenge, wanting to kill Abby (the person who killed Joel). Abby (no one knows why) left Ellie and Tommy escape (yep, they both watched the death of Joel... Well, Tommy was knocked out so... I guess just Ellie did), afterwards she goes after Ellie. They have a mini confrontation, and then when Abby had the opportunity of killing Ellie, you guessed it! She leaves again.
    Ellie is now going absolutely after her (Abby), in the process of getting to her, Ellie kills 4 (or more, sorry if i counted wrongly) of her friends.

    At the end Ellie finds Abby like like a Jesus model in a wooden stake. She saves her of the stake, Abby gets a friend that was on the same situation, they go to a boats that where at the shore. Before Abby and his sleepy friend leave on the boat, Ellie then decides to fight... Punches there, punches over there, ok. Ellie is about to kill her by drowning her, the moment we all expected, the revenge we were all looking for through all the game, this revenge was the aim of the story... But well, you know how this turned up... Ellie is about to kill her, but a flash of Joel playing the guitar appears, and for some reason we can't really understand, Ellie stops drowning her and she let her go leave, the main purpose of the story was to finish her. Why? That doesn't make any sense. If this was real, if you get a flash of someone you love and you have the person who took that other person from you... Wouldn't you get even more pissed off and kill her at the instant? This thing of "killing is bad" doesn't make sense because you just killed a bunch of people just to get to the main objective, you can't use the moral when you want, because that's not hoe it works! It just looks too forced.

    Another thing is the orientation of the protagonist, Ellie. The problem is not that she is homosexual/bisexual, the problem is that they don't normalize it, even at the start they talked about how she kissed a girl... Like, we don't care, is fine if you like whatever you like, but don't put it every time in coalition. If Ellie was a heterosexual girl, probably we wouldn't see a lot of conversation at all over her oriented sexuality. I really think they use the topics of the LGBTQ+ topics just for marketing.    … Expand

    I loved the first game, i thought it was a masterpiece. After not believing any of the leaks i still went out and bought the game. I am shocked by the fact that they totally altered the story to ensure all people playing the game have an opinion (they like) on gay stuff, as a gay i do not care about other peoples opinion on my sexual orientation.     What a beautiful and brutal sequel. I don't know if it's the crunch, dislike of the narrative or plain old trolling that is leading to the bad reviews, but let me tell you. This game is amazing!!

    I was heartbroken about what happens in the beginning but that sets the tone for a perfect continuation to the harsh world of the last of us.     It seems like a lot of these reviews were written before players would even have a chance to complete the game. The deeper narrative here is just so well done. And you are pulled through tons of emotions during the 20+ hours of active game play, where the consequences of your choices will have you question right and wrong.

    Do yourself a favor, and play this game.

I feel like a lot of the unfavorable reviews are either because the narrative has been politicized (which to a certain extent it was but come on lets be real we all had a feeling Ellie was lesbian lol) or because Joel died and they didn't want him to. Its the fact that Joel dies and that half the game you have to play as his killer that triggers people. He did die in a kind of stupid way but the writing and story was pretty realistic otherwise in my opinion. It was perhaps too realistic, violent, and bleak for some though. So ig if you're a liberal that likes controversial plots then this game is for you but otherwise ig not lollol… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
