Главы Ноти дог должны знать что просто так вертеть повесткой нельзя и вы можете получить пиз**в. Ни дай бог это будет игрой года! In all my life of gaming I haven't dealt with such a cliche story with nonsense sprinkled in as a poor attempt to “subvert expectations.” In my mind, the great reviews from all of these companies have been bought out or were formed from sympathy over the leaks that obviously annoyed the community. I played through the game since midnight launch and the story was nowhere near the impact of the first game. There were shoehorns, forced representation that didn't fit the game, a nonsense death of Joel that was reminiscent of if a storm trooper just hunted down and killed Luke Skywalker at the start if the Empire Strikes Back for the destruction of the death star. Political correctness is a cancer that ruined this game along with bad writing and poor lore decisions that feels like a slap in the face to every fan of the original game. It’s hilarious that Naughty Dog was phenomenal with the Uncharted series from beginning to end but let their biggest title slip this hard. The only redeeming quality is some of the gameplay is pretty fun but even then its pretty bland and uninspired. Im deleting the game and never playing it again and I hope many people will read this and decide to not put themselves through the effort this game takes.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As someone who is normally a fan of Naughty Dog games and of the original Last of Us, I feel this game is a slap in the face. If you enjoyed the first game because of the story, characters and relationships, this game is not for you. Due to some questionable story-line choices, the game feels like a slog to get through and tries to force its players into a middle school ethics class rather than engross us in an enthralling story. The graphics are some of the best this generation, but the game-play rarely features anything innovative and feels like more of the same as the first game. Overall, averaging everything out I would give this game a 5/10 and similar to Game of Thrones season 8 and Star Wars - Rise of Skywalker, this is one sequel that will sorely disappoint even its most loyal fans.

    Objectively its 6/10. Lovely graphics, visceral animations, haunting sound design. Gameplay is a bit outdated, but good enough. Story is the main problem... really poor writing. lt feels like a cheap fanfic. Joel's death is simply insane, playing as Abby was mentally exhausting i would've preferred to be able to skip that part (yep, lose 10 hours of the game willingly). Ending is simply nonsensical, you kill over 200 people and yet you do not finish the job? At least they could've given us a choice to kill or not kill that roided up monstrosity.
    This game never happened, Last of Us is a sequel-less title as far as i'm concerned.

    I am a strong believer that gameplay and visuals should be worth at least 5 points and 4 other points go towards creativity and story. This sequel has absolutely set the bar for how good game’s can look and play. An absolute masterpiece.. this game however will not hit you with the feels like the last game does.. The game story line just plain sucks. I mean it's one thing to kill off Joel but it's another when you have to take control of the character who kills off one of the best characters around, That to me is one of the dumbest decisions. And of course the ending is just complete **** The entire game was based on the fact that this is all about revenge and yet for some reason at the end after Abby kills Ellie's father figure and some friends and bites of Ellie's fingers all of a sudden revenge doesn't come into play And its all about forgiveness? Basically there's no payoff, you don't get revenge for Joel. Yes stupid move naughty dog. And let's also talk about the fact that naughty dog lied to its fans. In the trailers we see Joel and Ellie interact In certain times but instead when the games out now it's actually Ellie and Jesse or flashbacks? And naughty dog and Laura Bailey and all these people that are supporting the game are wondering why fans are upset? Yeah this is not a good game this has so many issues the story was a mess, and the best character of the whole last of us universe gets killed it within 2 hours Yes the reason why this gets a 3 out of 10 for me is because the graphics are great and that's it everything else sucks.… Expand

    Story has ruined everything. if you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her.

The game has breathtaking graphics ("you´re breathtaking") and a fluid gameplay. The game is not fun, it´s not supposed to be. That´s what some people don´t realise. The game shows us how cruel the reality is. Not everything happens the way people want and people that you love die. This game is a search for revenge and what a person can do to get it. I love Ellie, but the reality is that she is not the same Ellie we knew. She killed everyone in her way, including Abby´s best friends. And even though she killed them, Abby let her and Dina go. And she went after her again leaving everything behind. The ending was very emotional, when Ellie let Abby go, we saw a little bit of hope, we saw Ellie as a human and not as the cruel thing she had become. In the end we see the Ellie again leaving the farm with a unknown path, leaving the possibility of a The last os us Part 3. I have hope. The Last of Us 2 is the best game i have ever played.… Expand

    + настройки (первая игра, в которой содержится так много настроек для людей с любыми отклонениями и проблем с моторикой, а также гибкая настройка уровня сложности)
    + отсутствие загрузок (игру можно пройти всего с одним загрузочным экраном - при запуске игры; быстрая загрузка КТ при смерти персонажа, не отрывает от погружения)
    + очеловечивание врагов (противники перекрикиваются по именам, каждый кому-то родня, друг, брат, сват - очень придаёт атмосферы)
    + открытие сейфов (это уже не просто записка с кодом неподалёку, а это записка с напоминанием о дате свадьбы, номером выигрышного билета в лотерею, пароль от Wi-Fi или номер квартиры соседей)

    Минусы: не выделил.

    Может не понравиться:
    = сюжет и концовка (концовка - совсем не то, чего ждёшь всю игру)
    = немного затянутый геймплей (с середины игры может надоесть собирать припасы, т.к. это занимает достаточно много времени)

    Итог: игра однозначно превзошла первую часть в плане графики и геймплейных фишек, но большинство может не устроить неоднозначный сюжет и концовка, а также присутствие ЛГБТ тем в повествовании.    … Expand

It feels like you are in a movie, and I enjoyed the combat as well. Initially I thought I would hate this game based on what happened to Joel, since his character was so lovable from the first game, but the game did such a great job of portraying the effects of his actions from the first game, that you understand why it happened, and that life is complicated, with many different perspectives as to groups of people and their actions. I was so pleasantly surprised this became of my all time fav games. Bravo naughty dog… Expand

    Ruined story. Beloved characters systematically destroyed on several levels. Franchise hijacked by gender politics influencing jarring story and design decisions. Hollow shell of the game that came before.

    If you don’t like the new direction your accused of being a ism or a phobe. Don’t waste your money.

    At least FF7 Remake didn’t try and pull the same level of bs. F**k you naughty dog.

The AI is really stupid, even on the most difficult setting. (I’m a average gamer skill wise - maybe slightly below avg).     As a continuation of the first game I think it was a complete disappointment, they took everything they will build and instead of evolving, working on top they threw everything in the meat grinder with the intention of passing a generic message until in my humble opinion it was not very good worked.

    Anyway it's a good game I don't regret playing it (maybe I wouldn't have paid the launch price but it's worth it), as someone who really enjoyed the first game is a shame the event in history    … Expand

    Is a very long game (take me 40 hrs to finish it the first time), lot of different scenarios, sickness passion for the details, the sound effects . . . please play it with headphones: AMAZING. the sound track is precise and smooth, you almost didn't feel the changes.

    This game is DEFINITELY not for everyone, but is also definitely a MASTER PIECE.

    The Last of Us Part 2 is on par, if not better than Part 1. From story, to graphic and game play, this is one of the best video games ever made.     This is a very well made game with a compelling story that twists and turns in powerful ways. Gameplay is engaging and the story is told in tense movie like quality. My wife and I loved it. One of the best games I have played. People rating this game any less than an 8 are wrapped up in some nonsense that has nothing to do with the game.

And the games main purpose in order of successfully telling this story is to ensure that you as the individual can empathize with both sides. Within this game, you play as fan favorite Ellie and as a newcoming character named Abby. Ellie's journey is that of revenge while Abby's is that of redemption. Ellie witnesses a horrific event leading to her hunting down Abby as well as anyone who gets in between. Ellie's tale is actually one I personally enjoyed, as you really understand her anger from the beginning. As you have grown with her, you tend to root for her as she takes out her adversaries one by one. Abby on the other hand is really where this game can be hit or miss. Abby committed a horrific act(which is why Ellie hunts her) and when it comes to her side of the story, the writers really try to make you understand where she was coming from and empathize with her. Personally it just didn't work for me. I didn't care enough for what she was fighting for nor her friends. So to me the story felt good for the first half and for the second half had me bored. What about the gameplay? That is where the game can really shine. TLOU2's gameplay is a much more improved version of the first entry. You know exactly what you are getting into. Looting and using your resources to craft various tools to help you while you brave through areas of infected or one of the new factions. Stealth is something that feels way more important this time around. As every bullet of your gun counts, you should really save it for moments that you need them. Stealth can be really fun as there are a lot of opportunities for you to take down your enemies, using vehicles, holes in walls, and tall patches of grass to get around the area unspotted. There are new enemies that also really help to mix up your experience. Dogs, are new enemies who force you to constantly be on the move to evade them. In terms of infected, there are stalkers who are a weaker version of Clickers that like to sneak up on you and alert other infected around you. The human enemies are also really interesting this time around as they will now call out to their mates and make sure that everyone around them is still okay. The pressure is very much felt within these stealth sequences. Combat is improved as well with a new dodge button being added. And although it isn't a mind blowing addition it is a welcome one. The dodge button really feels like you have a chance in combat, when it works. The only issue with this button is it sometimes feels delayed and even when you're sure you hit the dodge button at the right time, you still end up getting hit. Friendly ai also add quite a bit to combat and stealth sequences. Unlike the first game, the allies will actually help you kill enemies or even spot them out to you. And they can either feel useful or feel like they are weighing you down. Thats one of the biggest issues I have with the game in terms of gameplay/mechanics is the AI can be really good, or really bad. The allies suffer from this, constantly getting in your way and making dumb decisions(ex. I got spotted by a clicker and an ally came and shut the door behind me, resulting in my death). The enemies are no different, they sometimes feel blind or just stupid half of the time. When the AI works, it feels great especially when the enemies start coordinating with methods of how to attack you. In terms of boss fights, there aren't much but they have some good ones(with one being awesome). The graphics are also really good but can sometimes look off. The scenery is incredible! There were plenty of moments where I would just stop and admire the world. And the sound design is phenomenal; when I first heard the clickers in this game I got chills. With a played time of about 26 hours, there's a lot to dig into. But having loved the first game so much, and with the first games influence on me being so massive, I just couldn't find myself to care for the story despite the fun gameplay.… Expand

    ND succeeded making their game look good but they forgot to put a soul in it. Sad to see a good franchise ruined like that i hope they will "wake up" and return to their awesome storytelling in their next title. I gave a 1 rating just for the release with minimum bugs/glitches.

    Aesthetically pleasing, great sound design and semi-open levels are the nicest bread, to a poorly-written story, awful character inconsistency, no new memorable characters who you will most definitely dislike (they all get killed or leave anyway) and pretty much the same gameplay you got in The Last of Us in 2013.

    Did you like The Last of Us? Don’t play the sequel, you’ll be better off that way and you will keep your love of the franchise relatively unmolested. I mean, I wouldn’t put much more belief in Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann after this glorious cock-up.

    Joel and Tommy are ruined. Their character inconsistency from the first game to here is insanely bad. They turned stupid, giving out their full names and trusting Unknown’s like it’s nothing. Obviously Ellie is angry, but after killing 100s of Cultists, Abby’s Group and the Infected, all in the name of revenge, but she doesn’t follow through? Yeah, yeah, Revenge is Bad, but you want to show that? You need to actually show why it’s bad in the first place. There are no memorable scenes pushing Ellie towards this point of view. If anything, she has every reason to kill Abby and she lets her go. Abby kills Joel, Jesse, mutilates Tommy and brutalises Dinah. She should die, otherwise you have no pay-off. That’s not even considering how you have to play as her after she murders Joel. This is not good game design, and this is not how you continue a franchise. Gameplay is the same as the last game. Sneak, loot, stealth kill, checkpoint. You can blitz enemies with stun grenades and checkpoint them to rush through. Enemy AI is downright inept and we’re still relying on QTE Cutscene Battles in 2020. This is not how you improve,
    Or push a franchise forward. Some of the moments that are meant to be serious are downright comical. Jesse’s Death (Abby headshots him out of luck), Mel is suddenly revealed to be pregnant by Owen after she is murdered by Ellie (two characters who they try and evoke sympathy for), Abby getting rawdogged by a Druckmann Self-Insert, it’s just bad. Their message is so hamfisted, so utterly pointless and poorly written that all their preaching falls flat.

    If anything, I think people hate it more now.

    Watch highlights, find streams, DO NOT BUY IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! IT IS NOT WORTH IT AND THIS MUST BE A MESSAGE THAT WE KNOW WHAT AN ACTUAL 10/10 GAME IS!    … Expand

    unfortunately they managed to kill the game completely. Everything was a complete mess, huge script holes, forced relationships between characters and very hasty deaths, an ending that makes you want to hit the joystick on the wall. They missed the opportunity to make the game one of the best of the new generation, but they blew it, a shame. the metacritic score can be 95, but make no mistake.

It is one thing if a game is not meant to be 'fun' if there is an emotional pay off at the end of it but I feel whatever they were wanting to achive fell flat.The story didn't work for me. I'm trying not to spoil anything here but all i can say is this is a game built on story and they tried something, it failed and fell rather flat. I dint enjoy it while playing but stuck with it waiting for some big emotional pay off that in the end never came and by the end had a nagging feeling that i would have been better off just doing something else.… Expand

    Looks good but game play is the same as 7 years ago so big disapoitment. The important choices in the game are also zero so it felt more like I was watching a film tha playing a game.

You would have thought the sequel would be about Ellie finding out the truth about what Joel did in the end of the first game, would then lead to her wanting more than ever to find a cure. Or something relating to that aspect. But it literally falls apart from the very start. What is worse is that they clearly lied in the trailer showcasing Joel in scenes where, in the real game he is either not actually there or it's a younger version of him which means the scene in the game is a flash back. But the trailer is showcasing all present day moments making you believe Joel to be alive. Naughty Dog obviously did this because the game was leaked and tried to create confusion.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

    If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
