    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would accept Abby's tragedy if it (the tragedy and Abby herself) were revealed at least 10%. Everything is put through the ass and the plot is passed through the machine "here is our new character - love him because we said so. Don't like it? But how, she saves a girl and a boy! And look, she wants to be with Owen, but she can't! What a poor thing... Still not in love? But she had lost her father! How did she torture to death the man who saved her life? But he killed his FATHER!!! OOOOOOOOOO!!! There was such chemistry with him!!! How was it not? And the Zebra? ZEBRA ALSO!!!"
    When we start the game for Abby, we see how Danny is killed - one of her friends. Just 5 minutes later, she says, **** Danny, I would have shot him myself." Wow. This is empathy and empathy for the fact that your partner died. Mmmmm. Very cool.
    When Lev and his sister ask Abby why SHE's helping them, she CAN't EVEN answer. She mumbles something like "well, that's the way it should be... uh... well, you don't deserve this fate... uuuuu" and that's it. No logic. It does these things because the game's creators made it so. And let's remember what Abby said in response to Ellie saying that her friend Dina was pregnant? Abby said, "okay!" and if it hadn'T been for the LION, Abby would have killed a pregnant Dinah and never experienced any feelings of regret or any other human emotion.
    And about the terrorist organization - in a conversation with Owen, Abby says that people are to blame for joining the organization to "scars" and undermine roadblocks and kill people. In response to Owen that the Cicadas did the same thing, Abby says, "WELL, that's different!!! WE WERE NAIVE!!!!!". So when Abby and her friends kill people and blow up roadblocks, it's OKAY, but when others do it, it's bad. Cool. It is not a terrorist organization that even in the first part of the explosion in the city caused a stir, commotion and terror. What about the fact that GEOL saved Abby not just from death, but from a fate far worse than death. If it wasn't for Joel, Abby would have been eaten alive, and even if and fate is far worse than death. If it wasn't for Joel, Abby would have been eaten alive, and even if she wasn't, she would have been bitten 1000% and would have turned into one of the zombies, which is much worse, and throughout both games we saw how people preferred suicide instead of transformation. But Abby doesn't think for a second about not torturing Joel, but at least giving him A quick death. No, Oh nooooo. She tortures him with a special passion. When she is saved by 2 "scars", for some reason she decides to help them. Oh, Yes, let'S remember why. Because she HAD a DREAM! SLEEP, CARL! SHE JUST HAD A ****ING DREAM. And SO IMBUED that I went to the back of the hospital, almost died 2 times to get medicine. Wow. This is a change of character. The BEST the KILLER "SCARS" for four years, SUDDENLY after the sex scene and the DREAM becomes dobrodruzny. The sudden rescue of two scars is not justified by anything other than the line-by-line message of the creators "LOOK! ABBY'S GOOD!!! BETTER THAN ELLIE!!!!! LOVE ABBY!!!!!!!!!!"    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love TLOU, characters, story, and gameplay through and through. Naughty Dog has made an incredible achievement with the sequel. By the time the credits rolled I never wanted to see Ellie or Abby ever again. The tit for tat exchange whereby Abby only lives because she spared Ellie is weak, I don’t have a better way to say this. Forcing the player to understand the antagonist was a grueling and horrid experience. Abby’s own friends in game wish she would just leave and die before she ruins anymore lives. Then after the weak theater scene Ellie throws away what little life she has left. By the time the credits roll she is incapable of playing the guitar, losing the last link she shared with Joel, she is just a lost hopeless shell.… Expand

    I always thought ND games were kinda mediocre. They were good spectacle but gameplay and design wise they weren't as good as other games released in the same years. TLOU 2 surprised me in a good way because it shown growth in ND as a developer. The story isn't perfect but they didn't played it safe, they tried something different and got out of their comfort zone and made a really goodI always thought ND games were kinda mediocre.     A very good game with beautiful graphics in a vibrant and unique world. The game is and will be controversial, but it seems that's been intended, 10/10, hands down, best game of the year if not best game on PlayStation!

    Tired mechanics, awful story. There isn't a likeable character in the game and normally I can over look bad writing for good gameplay but it's nothing games haven't done before but often executed better in other titles

    I will say, though, that this game excels visually and design-wise, so much so that Jacksonville and the rotten heart of Seattle both look unbelievably gorgeous. The game is a dream to play when you're looting, running around, or taking in the scenery. Naughty Dog    TLOU2 is bold in its narrative decisions and I can see why it's caused such a huge divide between critics and players.

    I will say, though, that this game excels visually and design-wise, so much so that Jacksonville and the rotten heart of Seattle both look unbelievably gorgeous. The game is a dream to play when you're looting, running around, or taking in the scenery.

    Naughty Dog does stumble in places, however. The combat and stealth feel dated and rusty compared to the polished finesse in other departments, and the narrative suffers from inconsistent pacing. A few character decisions are out of place and there are more than several moments that are eye-rollingly heavy handed.

    Overall, TLOU2 isn't the masterpiece that I think many critics have portrayed it as. It's an ambitious title that pushes the capabilities of the medium, but as an experience it's overly long, self-important, and doesn't say as much as it thinks it does. It is still a great time, and if you were a fan of the shoot-em and loot-em mechanics from the first game you'll feel at home here. By no means groundbreaking, but still absolutely worth trying - regardless of what angry fanboys said at release.    … Expand

    Herşeyiyle muhteşem olan bir oyun. Thanks you Neil. Hikayeyeyi beğenmeyip oyunu kötüleyenler, oyuna haksızlık yaptığını er geç fark etmeli artık. Kimse biz oyuncuların kafasındaki senaryoya göre hikaye çıkartmıyor. Firma bu hikayeyi anlatmak istemiş; bizim için önemli olan bunu nasıl anlattığıdır ve The last of part two bunu harika yapanlardan.

The only redeeming quality of this game is the graphics and flashback scenes, but other than that, it is a complete waste of your time.… Expand

    This is a beautiful game with incredible narrative which takes bold chooses, I absolutely loved every second of it, and think that the last of us is pure artistry.
    Neil druckmann is a master storyteller.
    The gameplay is engaging and the visuals are stellar

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Самая лучшая игра, в которую я играл! Жаль Джоэла, но его смерть со стороны Эбби полностью оправдана. Убили его отца, подумайте, если бы кто-то убил вашего близкого человека, чтобы вы сделали? Не пошли бы мстить? Мне Эбби как персонаж очень понравился и я был рад, что в финале Элли его отпустила. Вот мы и плавно перешли к ней, здесь она уже взрослая, имеет уже свои интересны и своих друзей. При жизни Джоэла она была на него обижена и не смогла его простить до его смерти, это и повлияло на нее, в финале она отпускает его и приобретает покой. Она так и не узнала, почему Эбби решила его убить, она все ещё думает, что она убила его из-за того, что теперь нет вакцины от вируса, а не потому что он убил его отца, думаю если бы она узнала это, то пересмотрела бы свой путь. К слову Элли убила всех ее близких людей, всех... Если бы не Лев, то наверно Эбби сошла бы с ума. Игра очень хороша и вызывает много эмоций. 100/10… Expand

    Many inexplicable and out of character decisions are made by both Ellie and Abbie. I don't feel particularly connected to either, nor did I appreciate the well worn tropes around violence and revenge.

    Lovely visuals however. Just a shame the story was hot garbage.

    Never played a game before and cried playing a game.
    If somebody can't decide is it worth playing this game after it got so many negetive reviews!
    I would suggest them to just play once then devide by your self.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us, 2013 = masterpiece. I've played through it at least 5 times. The Last of Us Part 2 = sure to continue the saga, it will only get better in this release, and those to come...or so I thought. The recipe for success was all there, stellar in every aspect. The characters, the bond they developed, a formidable, masculine lead character with a southern drawl in a post apocalyptic, survival of the fittest setting, stellar combat and stealth mechanics, impeccable voice acting, not to mention the graphics. What they were able to squeeze out of a PS3 is astounding.

    I began this game with measured hopes and expectations. The world is such a strange place in 2020. Artists can't express themselves the way they once could for fear of offending the shrieking, blathering, petulant, "anxiety" ridden imbeciles that will denounce anything that doesn't depict every "marginalized" minority in existence in a completely improbable heroic, or otherwise traditionally masculine role.

    Neil C u c k m a n has essentially injected his once beloved triumph with a lethal dose of wokeness. Ruthless combatants are are at least 80% female. Both fatherly figures, Joel and Tommy, are removed from the story. Joel is immediately killed off, and Tommy is non existent. From the first game, I felt as if the universe was totally immersive and a real life possibility, like it was as close to a simulation as you could get. The guys you were fighting were total sons of **** but they thought the same of you. It was survival of the fittest, the way things would be post apocalypse. All that was left roaming the streets or occupying contested territory were the hardest men, fighting the infected and their rival humans. The reality of the world is simply that women would not assume the same roles as men, as fighters, hunters, and gatherers. They would be the nurturers, doctors, child bearers, cooks, shopkeepers, etc. The way this world was depicted in part 2 was wholly fictional and completely destroyed my experience. I felt as if this game could have been as great as the first, possibly better had it not been beaten down and dragged through the mud by an sjw agenda.

    The artwork is undeniable, it's visually breathtaking, the sound design completely immerses you, the combat has only improved from the first game. The level of detail is remarkable. Shooting an enemy's arm off, blowing them apart from a trip mine, the reflections of water, tracks in the snow, unique dialog between enemies as a result of your actions. But all of this is ruined by such imprudent, foolish nonsense that it almost goes down in flames. I have little to no desire to replay it. I can't help but be annoyed by the unlikeable characters I'm forced to accompany throughout the experience. I wanted Manny to get smoked in the first 5 minutes. I almost had to admit myself to the hospital to have my eyes surgically reset, because they rolled almost completely back into my skull when I found out that the obviously late term pregnant, short-haired girl was gonna leave the wire and come on an adventure. Then there's that part where you hoist her up to a shelf, and she uses her gut to leverage herself and climb up. Then later they start with the trans nonsense. Ok, if you want a chick to think she's a dude, and you see fit to encourage such mental illness, why draw attention to the fact that she's pretending to be a dude? Just let it ride, that way she is accepted right? But no, that's not what it's about. You don't get attention for being a victim that way.

    In summation, they've crapped all over what should have been a follow up to a truly incredible, innovative, ground breaking game. This could have been a franchise that was simply unrivaled. Instead, they've traded away their future for a totally nonsensical movement and subsequent diatribe against what I feel is the majority of their audience, and gamers. I can't totally trash it, but I certainly can't praise it.    … Expand

    TL:DR It's sad that this game has been review bombed by people during the first week of it's release. If you enjoy story driven games in general, try this game out. If you played TLOU: P1, all I can say is prepare yourself. It will hurt you in the best way possible.

During the second half of the game, you may experience some mixed feelings as there is a major shift in story, but buckle in and you will quickly understand why this choice was made.
    All other elements (graphics, animation, acting) are all noticeably better than the first game, with the notable exception of gameplay. I feel that this section could have been innovated on more than they ended up with, as it feels a bit to similar to TLOU: P1 in my opinion.     Great game. It totally put me into the characters emotions and made me experience the story from two different angles. Gameplay is immersive and graphics are some of the best in the market. If you want to play as Joel, go ahead and play the first game. If you have a problem with girls being protagonist of a game and different ethnics and diverse gender identities, get some help.

This game some people may say this game is disappointing, well I'd like to say that this game is an absolute masterpiece not just because of the gameplay , the visuals, the details everything is perfect and most importantly the story .Many people argue that because of Joel's death people started treating this game as trash but what i think is this game had the best and i mean the best story that has been written for a game THE BEST SEQUEL to part one. Stunning graphics, technological masterpiece, but the plot sometimes fall down to the level of some stupid teenage drama in post-apocalypse setting, like you watching another The 100 or The Walking Dead. Nice game overall, but as a sequel to the first TLOU - sucks.

    I picked the game little late and was aware of all the hate towards the game. People defending the game said it was hate bcoz of Feminism, Death of a major character, Political message (have no idea what it meant), or Lesbian etc....No I didn't hate the game bcoz of any of these. Lets go further starting with positives.

    Pros:
    Like every Naughty Dog games, Graphics in this game is beautiful
    Some brilliant design Levels
    Good Game play with some realistic shooting mechanics
    Enemy AI was great (Many Stealth games we see enemies search for you sometime and then go back; Not the case here, enemies are aggressive from the moment you are spotted)

    What starts as revenge story, goes into something else. And they ask you to play as Abby (Antagonist) for half the game which made me irritated. To me her father decided to kill a small girl without anyone's consent (he was wrong). Joel protected the kid and killed him for raising the knife at him. Joel was a hero and Abby torturing to death without knowing the real incident that led to her Father's death, makes her a villain in my eyes. So the makers decided to show the game from Abby's side, trying to project revenge is not good was all some bull**** piece of writing. In fact they were contradicting their stance on the first game. Game drags like anything in the last portion, there were 2-3 moments I thought the game was over but it kept on going. Ending was absolutely bad, making me wonder what was the overall point of the game. I wish they never made the 2nd half of the game or taken a different storyline or best of all "I wish this sequel was never made"    … Expand

I did enjoy the graphics, combat and the environment of this game but it doesn't do anything new which hasn't been shown by any forms of entertainment. The classic cycle of revenge which has been done with both the walking dead a new frontier , the TV series from the same name and a movie named "Circle of revenge" with the same theme. The reason why i liked the first game so much was because we see build up relationship from start to end over a long period of time between Joel and Ellie and in the end a man could kill the entire world even if it means to save his child. However , the sequel basically kills of Joel in a dumb way within the first 2 hours of the game. Tommy being a survivor for so long and having enough personality to be trusted with protecting an entire community as we see in the first game yet he manages to give his name to an entire group named WLF which was dumb , if the character development was consistent then this wouldn't have happened because no matter how your character progresses , he/she don't forget their instincts for example Kratos. We have also seen how Neil's theme of "realism" isn't good since he basically had a very muscular woman named Abby whose workout schedule was debunked by real life dietitians and also a fat man from rattlers. There are also very dumb narrative moments like Tommy not seeing the map Ellie dropped due to being in a shock after killing pregnant Mel or when Dina basically ignores that Ellie is immune and the talk goes straight to her being pregnant while that immune topic not having any importance.I get why Ellie didn't kill Abby but this part was a lot of stretch , it also doesn't make any sense imo considering that she only realized that revenge wouldn't solve anything when she was about to drown Abby and not when she killed Mel or when she killed Nora or even when she killed a lot of people on the island beforehand. Lev's character development was also very inconsistent , he goes from not wanting to kill anymore after killing her mother and watching her sister die to helping Abby in extracting down her revenge against Ellie for killing Owen.… Expand

    Naughty Dog took everything that was beloved about the 1st game and threw it all away. The father-daughter hard-earned relationship built up between Joel and Ellie? Gone. The caring, "I would do anything to save you (Ellie)", love that Joel had to protect Ellie? Gone.

    Joel *is* one of the main characters of The Last of Us (and my favorite) and ND kills him off in a lazy cutscene that is so ridiculous and unbelievable you wonder how lazy Neil Druckmann got. Joel (and Ellie) have taken down hundreds of Infected and encountered disturbed Humans (like the Cannibals) in Part 1. Joel and Tommy (his brother) have seen all manner of corrupted people, so there's ZERO chance Joel would just roll into the WLF facility, unguarded and let himself get captured (and then killed in a cutscene). Awful.

    The worst part is that he dies by the hand of basically the child of a random NPC you kill in Part 1. Just a grunt. But they try and make Abby's story "meaningful", except NO ONE asked or cared about wanting to play the daughter of a random Firefly NPC. Abby's story and the WLF's feels like filler / junk, and you're *forced* to spend hours (a good 40% of the game?) playing this terrible side character.

    Then you're forced as the player to try and fight and kill Ellie (the other main character), as Abby. WTH?! Sure it sounds "novel" but as a player and longtime fan of Part 1, disregarding your main 2 characters Joel and Ellie, and trying to play through this game as Abby (part of the enemies in this universe) is disappointing and I hated every second of it.

    Again, *no one* wanted this.

    And in the end, this was just a story about Hate, Anger and Revenge. And when it failed, try revenge again, and again, and again.

    The Last of Us Part 2 has no soul, no heart. Beautiful and brutal, but a terrible story and disappointing character development for the main characters that everyone cared about in part 1. Avoid at all costs.    … Expand

    Masterpiece in storytelling and graphics. There are a lot of interesting characters with each there own problems to deal with, and the animations are the best in the buisse.

    Un juego maravilloso, siendo una digna segunda parte, sigue siendo amargamente bueno, el punto del juego no es la venganza es mala o matar es malo como lo hicieron ver, es el tener sentimientos encontrados y tener un sentido de vid, lo cual se disfraza de venganza, Joel s un punto importante para nosotros los jugadores, porque? porque en la primera parte los desarrolladores nos hicieronUn juego maravilloso, siendo una digna segunda parte, sigue siendo amargamente bueno, el punto del juego no es la venganza es mala o matar es malo como lo hicieron ver, es el tener sentimientos encontrados y tener un sentido de vid, lo cual se disfraza de venganza, Joel s un punto importante para nosotros los jugadores, porque? porque en la primera parte los desarrolladores nos hicieron creer que todo lo que hizo era lo correcto, nos hicieron conectar tan bien con el que cuando murió la mayoría de los jugadores decían que merecía algo mejor, pero... no el juego desde el primer titulo nos hicieron ver que nadie importaba, no importa si eres el líder de las luciérnagas, no importa si eres el doctor que iba a salvar a la humanidad nadie importa en realidad, después de todo simplemente eres una persona entre un millón. En el primer titulo el sentimiento que nos hacia sentir Naugthy Dog era amor, mejor dicho amor entre padre e hija y este segundo juego nos hace sentir odio, por eso toda la parte de Ellie se sentía satisfactoria, porque ese odio que nos daba el juego iba con los responsables de matar a Joel.
    en conclusión The Last of Us part 2 es en pocas palabras el mejor juego del año por darnos un mensaje que la mayoria de las personas no captaron, que es que en un mundo destrozado ya no importa nadie no importa si te estabas preparando para ser papa, para ser mama simplemente se trata de sobrevivir como puedas, que en el universo e The Last of Us no hay buenos ni malos, ya no hay humanos simplemente personas y que sin un sentido de vida la vida no seria vida    … Expand

    Es un juego perfecto ,lo que yo no entiendo es que hay gilipollas que lo critiquen es simplemente personas que no saben de juegos que solo juegan la basura de juegos como fornite o minecraft

    The last of us part 2 very organically continues the history of the first part and explains the motivation of each of the heroes. Amazingly beautiful and vibrant world. By far one of the best games of the generation!

    I understand that some people must eat this stuff up and get the warm and gooeys every time, but for me it's too hard to look at for one moment without cringing at how edgy they're trying to be whilst forcing a woke agenda down the players' throats. And yeah, woke agendas are fine and all if you make the narrative a hippy-dippy accept-all-no-matter-how-freaky-or-delusional-they-are plot,I understand that some people must eat this stuff up and get the warm and gooeys every time, but for me it's too hard to look at for one moment without cringing at how edgy they're trying to be whilst forcing a woke agenda down the players' throats. And yeah, woke agendas are fine and all if you make the narrative a hippy-dippy accept-all-no-matter-how-freaky-or-delusional-they-are plot, but then make the tone and outer narrative somewhat pleasant to at least try and convince us to that ideology. This mixup doesn't work. It's just confusing. Maybe because they tried to take a previously established entity in this weird direction rather than just creating something new and explicit? (Because there would probably have been less controversy then, right?) I don't know, fact is I couldn't stand the mashup of ultra-teen-angst and crazy preachiness. These themes just don't work together. It was like Duke Nukem Forever had a love child with Agony and it was raised in an American Public school to be a gender fluid Identity Politics professor. Give us one or the other and a little more variety to the gameplay and more useful sneaking mechanics next time, please.… Expand

    This is a great game. Great story, graphics, and gameplay. It deserves a 10. There are some dumb people on this website who say the game deserve a 7/10 but are giving it a zero to “counter all the stoopid 10’s” and now it has a 5/10 user score which is less than they said it deserved in the first place. There are also a lot of **** people who are giving a zero because a character is gay.This is a great game. Great story, graphics, and gameplay. It deserves a 10. We learn there is a price to pay if you follow this path. The gameplay and graphics are excelent! Highly recommended… Expand

    Narrativa cuestionable, gameplay pesado, pocos enemigos, caidas constantes de FPS, lleno de bugs. basicamente es insufrible el título, la peor inversión en mi vida. Se nota claramente como Sony compra a la prensa.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
