    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Killing off Joel like that this early in the game, the nasty sex scene, and plotless galore along with forcing to play as a character I have zero interest or investment in made this game unbearable.

    Graphics are amazing, but in these days and ages, messing up graphics is hard. Gameplay is solid and the areas looks great, just really pains to see the game fails so bad on story writing, characters and SJW politics inserted.

    If story was way better as well as the ending, and didn't have to play as Abby. I would rate the game a strong 8/10, but with current events and how Naughtydog has acted like with the DMCA takedowns and such, game is a 2/10.
    I can play a game easily if have subpar graphics and not the best gameplay, but **** up story and characters, is impossible to enjoy

    ¡QUE ASCO! una pésima historia un pésimo giro personajes forzados, feminismo e inclusión por donde lo veas en resumen el juego es una basura en cuanto a trama y que es un juego de este tipo sin trama, si se que sus gráficos son excelentes y la jugabilidad fenomenal pero sin una historia bien estructurada es solo un juego que pasa desapercibido.

    Never did I think they would do that to our beloved characters from the first game. The second portion of the game becomes extremely mundane and boring and makes you not want to continue. Gameplay was good for the first few hours but becomes boring very quickly. The story was not well written and there was obvious political pandering.

When I felt suicidal and depressed, I would reflect on TLoU, a story about hope and finding beauty in such a bleak time. I picked up the guitar because of the beautiful soundtrack Gustavo created for the original game. I forever cherish the original game in my heart.     The story plays the biggest part for me when it comes to the game. Gameplay is next but graphics can be piss poor as long as the story excels. The story is so bad and filled with holes and silly character choices, unnecessary deaths, and the game is there to promote an agenda through its creator, Neil Druckmann. This is easily the worse game I've played through in years.

    Eine Schock und Entäuschung.
    Das überall zugeballert werden mit "Schwul ist cool" nervt allmählich.

    Una muy mala experiencia, tan solo las dos primeras horas de juego bastaron para hacerme enojar, la forma en que trataron a los personajes cuya historia había sido un éxito en mi corazón me destrozo, seguí jugando para encontrar que esto ya no era the last of us, si no una fantasía de su desarrollador en jefe.

This game abondons every value that made the first game and relies on taking advantage of the fanbase it had built up from the first game naught dog has a reputation for making duo adventure stories and last of us 1 revolves around ellie and joel and their journey and their relationship while this game is just a lgbt revenge game that you dont even get to have revenge all you do is for nothing basically gameplay only has few tweaks songs are still good but still cant top off the 1st game's songs and only good thing about this game is atmosphere graphics and enviroment i dont see why anyone that loved the first game would love this especially when joel dies for nothing and you play as half the game as Abby and his **** love triangle with Owen like who the **** cares in a linear STORY DRIVEN game your goal is story but when it is trash so is everything else for me this is biggest dissapointment of the last decade… Expand

    The gameplay is bad, the maniability of your character is better than in witcher 3 at least (lol) but the rest of the gameplay is really below any standards you'd have for a triple a title especially when compared with similar game (tps sneak shooting game)
    That isn't to say the gameplay is **** and the level design+Ai is good enough to make for good thriling action which actually makes for entertaining moment although it get pretty repetitive very fast and I did feel bored while playing the game
    The game scenery is really beautiful and the level of details are quite crazy for a ps4 , similarly the sound design is really good and does help a lot with immersion (I played with the voice in french and the actor did a great job too)
    Now why does all that warrant a 4 ?
    The story was what I and I assume most people were looking forward to since it's the most important thing in this franchise which never shined through it's gameplay
    It's honestly complete **** and it's really hard to explain without spoiling but the characters really make incredibly stupid decision and ellie especially acts so much out of character
    I thought TLOU1 was a writing masterpiece
    TLOU2 on the other hand is on the level of a regular blockbuster or a 50shades of grey type book
    I'm not joking that's how ridiculously bad the writing was
    The game is meant to be disgusting and sad on purpose but after a while I was just desensitized and I kept playing just to see how ridiculous the story would keep getting
    And it kept getting worse and worse and worse
    The amount of time a scene was supposed to be serious and sad or/and horrible and I was laughing or not caring was quite crazy
    And I'm a pretty sensitive guy (I cried in the MGV killing your own men scene for **** sakes)
    The only scene that made me emotionally evolved where the scene with joel and the flashbacks ellie had
    This game made me dislike the character of ellie while I loved her in the TLOU1
    The game takes everything from you away and try to force you to like character that you simply cannot like because of what they previously did
    From start to finish you lose thing and don't gain anything
    A non spoiler summary of this game : A revenge story where in the end the only revenge enacted aren't even gameplay related but in cutscene from character you don't control
    So buy this game if : You don't care about a pretty bad cliche and very forced story that will either make you feel bad or will feel ridiculous+ You don't mind a gameplay that isn't really amazing
    Don't buy this game if : You care about gameplay or story
    This isn't the standard that should be set in this industry
    Video game will never be considered an art if you don't make it's most unique component one of the main thing in your "art" (gameplay and interactive story)    … Expand

    The games message at the end is... (SPOILERS BELOW!)

    That revenge is bad. It starts with Abbie getting her own personal revenge by killing joel. Then through out the game, Ellie murders people to get to Abbie so she can get her revenge, yet at the very end "Murder bad!" So Ellie lets Abbie live and Abbie gets to take the person she cares about away.

    So basically Ellie isnt allowed to get revenge as "Getting revenge means bad.". Yet, Abbie in the end, was rewarded for her revenge quest.

    How the hell is this a proper story? It makes no sense to me!    … Expand

BUT, the story is so frustrating, starting with Joel, the kill that it's so close to the very first star of the game, I didnt have thougths about Abby till she appear. How can we be motivated by the people that have killed HER "FATHER". i was only looking for some rougth moments but instead of that i had a very bad feeling in my heart that Joel has died by some **** girl that i didnt know. The script has been SO oppressed, the gameplay was so empty, same as TLOU1; the world does not move with ellie, and it could have been wonderful if he had died at the end of the game, introducing Ellie like the avenger of Joel in a search for perseverance in his girlfriend. Instead of a very gorgeous game we have some really good game, enjoyable, and very good looking. Appreciating all the work this game has, we can conclude that it could have been much better than it is, if it had not wanted to be a breakthrough without force, pretending to be better than its predecessor, highly recommended but it could have been much better.… Expand

    Graphics is pretty. But that's not what is expected from the game.

    I’ve played just as much of this game as most of you have, so virtually none of it. And as someone who hasn’t played the game, this 10/10 review is worth just as much as the thousands of 0/10 reviews that complain about sjw’s. The game is probably really good though, I might try it out when I have time to.

All you're left with at the end of the game is a bitter taste in your mouth and time that you can never get back. La jugabilidad es muy parecida al primer juego y los graficos que decir son lo mejor de lo mejor pero por mas de que sea lo mejor de lo mejor lo que formo The Last of Us fue su historia y lamentablemente este juego tiene la peor que pudieron haber hecho, principalmente porque la muerte de Joel tiene muchas incoherencias siendo una persona con bastantes enemigos y revela su nombre asi porque si a unso desconocidos a tal punto que sentis que la muerte fue muy poco digna, despues te quieren hacer empatizar con Abby lo cual es muy errado ya que sabes lo que hizo y te da asco jugar con ella y despues algo lamentable es el final que sentis que fue todo por nada, que ellie perdone a Abby habiendo matado a Joel es terrible, en especial porque mata un monton de gente para llegar ahi y al final no se venga, te deja con un muy mal sabor de boca.

    El resumen final es un 5 porque lo mas importante del juego era la historia y es de los peores aspectos y deja manchado el nombre de The Last of Us    … Expand

El final no tiene coherencia con los personajes y es completamente insatisfactorio.

    Si, entendemos, la venganza es mala y todo eso, pero cada una de las acciones por las que nos quieren hacer sentir mal son acciones que los desarrolladores nos obligaron a hacer. Intentan que simpatices con lo que hace el villano dándote 10 min de su historia pero no lo logran. Infinity War logro de mucha mejor manera lo que TLOU 2 quería hacer. Entiendes por qué Thanos hace lo que hace, por más descabellada que sea su lógica. En cambio en este juego nunca logran que pases mas allá del odio que le tienes al villano.

    This is essentially the Last Jedi of gaming. This could have been so easy, they literally had all these potentially storylines to explore and instead they just burned it all.     Incredibly disappointed. Sure the music and gameplay is alright, but the story is unbearable. Simply horrendous! I cant believe naughty dog went from making one of the greatest games of all time, tlou 1, to this pathetic game. I hope they suffer and go bankrupt, they dont deserve to stay in the game after making such a terrible game.

    Amazing game. People are mad because Ellie is gay and they think it is just a political move. But in the first game it clearly showed that Ellie was gay and they havnt changed anything to make it political. The story is nice, the gameplay is smooth, the graphics are good. I don't know know what else to expect from a game.

The way the Joel character is treated, the way you supposed to empathize with his killer. It's not working. The "you killed my father excuse", come on. In 7 years they couldn't came up with something better that a NPC killed? And the ending is easily the worst part. You kill hundreds of people to get to Joel's killer and then you do nothing because "revenge is bad". Unbelievable. Way to go NaughtyDog you went from absolute masterpieces like the Uncharted series and TLOU to this awful game. I guess i could not expect nothing else from Neil Druckmann, after his statements. Doesn't matter if they ruin the charactes of the first game, and with them the expctations of the players. It doesn't matter because now they have new stunnig and brave (so brave they kill an unarmed man with a golf stick, then spit on him) characters and political corectness is safe. And all the critics' positive reviews just prove what the world of media is become. You put these themes in your story and they will (and have to) love it. The bond between Joel and Ellie, the evil and good spectrum so thin, the story so simple yet so powerfull, the calm of some moments, the frenzy of others, Joel so strong and so broken, Ellie so young and scared and courageous. Nothing of that, nothing, is present in this sequel. This is just putting the almost same (very good indeed) gameplay, new unlikeble characters that you will hate and some gore and ultraviolent scene to shock you. No NaughtyDog, I'm not shock by these scenes, I am shock for the poor writing of these. Thanks to SJW. This is just so SAD.… Expand

Good ol' TLoU gameplay and shooting, still the same but ok. All the cool undead monsters, ok. The soundtracks, just wow. But now tell me HOW it is ok to destroy loved characters like that, and to force players to play as a character they HATE (because yes, everyone who has a brain hates Abby). 30 hours (7 years for 30 hours?) of pure pain, fighting Runners, Clickers and so on and so forth, using a detestably character, and while being brainwashed about lesbians and trans and other **** that no one would care about during a freakin Apocalypse. And everything just to wink at LGBTQWandGodknowswhat+ and snowflake's agenda, just to be praised by the media and by the critics... And for everyone who thinks that "the far right is "bombing" TLoU 2", that's complete bull****, it's just that they destroyed their own fan-base with that cringe dlc they call a game.
