    The game suffers from an extremely poor narrative. it seems the write decisions were largely ideologically driven. They simply got rid of one of the most beloved characters in gaming in order to make room for another character. While the gameplay is not bad, the story will leave a bitter taste in your mouth.     I can't believe Naughty Dog really went and put all of the first game's success and value in the bin just to please SJWs. Unbelievable. Before you criticize people and call them out for being homophohic, remind yourself of the fact that Ellie was already gay in TLoU:LB and nobody was mad.     The world, combat are very good and the game is a technical masterpiece, but the story is garbage and the characters dialogue just sounds like they're trying to collect a pay check. Also as an avid man of firearms i have to ask who the hell supplied this games knowledge of how firearms function.

    A key moment to actually prove that gaming journalists are either paid for giving good reviews.
    The game itself is clusterf... of a story that only one man likes; the creator.
    Technically it's ok.
    I don't we ever will see a game reviewed so differently between users (real gamers) and sellout journalists.

    The entire plot make no sense.
    In first 2 hours Joel is brutally killed by a merciless character (Abby). But then she would leaves his brother and Ellie (one who cares deeply for Joel) alive.
    The entire plot becomes Ellie's Revenge Journey, Ellie kills lot of people brutally to reach out Abby.
    Finally when she finds her in end, she lets her go. Yeah just like that. Note to mention Abby kills Joel, Tommy, cuts off Ellie's finger(she couldn't play Joel's guitar properly)

    The gameplay was terrible and got boring in certain parts. Also, video games are supposed to be a gateway to get away from all the everyday news and BS. So it pretty pathetic that they put SJW elements in the game.

    Se pasan con las notas, ni de coña es un videojuego de un 0. Es cierto que tiene más o menos tantos puntos negativos como positivos por eso le doi un 5/10, es un videojuego regular y ya, no se merece esos ceros aunque comprendo la grandísima decepción con todo el hype que había. Al menos con la parte de los bugs seguro se acabarán solucionando poco a poco con actualizaciones.

    A brave and ambitious game that sometimes falters in it's storytelling, appearing maybe a little pretentious and contradictory in it's message, but the game is nonetheless excellent, with enthralling and suspense-driven gameplay and brilliantly broken characters that show the disparity that the world has come to in the Last of Us.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. There are a few main reasons people review bomb this game and call it a "terrible and horribly written mess"

    1. Joel is the Main character you play as and sympathize with throughout most of the first game. He gets killed in the very first 2 hours of the second game by a woman named Abby, whose father was killed by his hands in the Hospital near the end of the first game.

    2.The story makes little to no sense as Abby and Ellie make some very questionable life choices and by the end of the game both suffer and live a somewhat miserable life with no actual conclusion to the "revenge" plot.

    3.LGBQT+ is something no one really wants to see in their favourite games but we have all of it here. The worst part of the game is that it's way to violent to the point it shows both a pregnant woman get killed off and have a 13 year old kid beaten up and hung up on a pole left to die with his best friend Abby.

    4. Abby right... No one likes Abby we can agree on that note. I had little to no sympathy towards her after she killed Joel. She got her revenge of course but the fact the game forces you to play as her nearly half of the game is a disgrace. Almost kills every likable character in the story and by end of the game she gets aways with everything just because Ellie wasn't strong enough to avenge her friends and Joel. I'm sorry but I learned no life lessons from this Naughty Dog.

    Hope they make a DLC of some sorts otherwise this gets no actual positive feedback other than the fact that the game looks gorgeous and the gameplay itself is average at best.    … Expand

    Good side:
    Graphics are pretty good
    Environment is very interactive
    Puzzles at the same time are not too complex which makes the game also user friendly

    Bad side:
    Story line
    - A lot of characters that played so much roles and made what the Last of Us a unique game dies by the wrath of some girl that looks like an ogre. Who? I don't know she just showed out of the blue. Wow thats interesting, whats her backstory? Where does she come from? No? Oh thats cool, sure, very heartbreaking to see some characters get killed by a nobody. No history, nothing.

    Story line Part 2
    Story is pretty hollow. Alright, some characters died and now its revenge time. The plot of a revenge time seems kind of hollow and dry doesn't it? The story just turns into a hatred rampage. Alright sure, we get to kill the character that made this game pure dog**** We reach the end of the game. We're so close to killing her. Oh? We let her go? Well thats a shame. I'm pretty sure Joel wanted to kill Abby and you show a flashback from a scene with Abby and Joel that literally creates no connection with why Ellie spared Abby to begin with.

    Oh but its a good story because it appeals to SJWs? Who? How did they get in our topic. We're talking about Joel, Ellie, Tommy and the rest of the great side characters. Oh yeah sure, lets bring them here out of the blue just like how the devs brought Abby to the story line. Perfect.

I love Naughty Dog, I always thought they made incredible games from Crash Bandicoot to Uncharted but this was just awful, this was simply dreadful. I'd expect this low level of game-making from Activision,Complete and utter trash, waste of my money. It felt as if someone was trying to shove their belief system down my throat the entire game. Don't be stupid and waste your money as I did. I love Naughty Dog, I always thought they made incredible games from Crash Bandicoot to Uncharted but this was just awful, this was simply dreadful. TLOU to is the story about Joel and Ellie. so it makes sense to play TLOU 2 as characters Ellie AND Joel that we developed a bond with all throughout, not as a random character that has only been introduced 5 hours into the game. i mean how does N.D. expect us to get involved with the game when we are put into a random character that we have no emotional attachment to. secondly, the plot is not engaging at all, N.D. says the game is not supposed to be fun but more of an engaging story, but the plot is horribly disconnected with most of the fans, we get that the character Abby went to kill Joel for revenge, but the ending was just pure **** Joel gets killed, Ellie's group gets killed, Ellie gets revenge and kills abbey's group who were just willing witnesses to a murder, but in the end Ellie didn't get revenge for Joel by letting abbey scott free. if it was ellie who Abby killed Joel would've stopped at nothing to kill Abby for stealing his daughter figure from him, i expected Ellie would've done the same as it felt like she saw Joel as a Father Figure.… Expand

    She kills one of the characters, Joel, that we grew up with in the first game from aggressive **** to Ellie to doting father figure. But it's not the fact that Joel dies, it's the way he dies, it isn't deserved. Joel saves Abby's life and in return she kills him. Then at the end Ellie forgives Abby, for some reason.
    The message of the game is revenge isn't worth it. If that's the message we should have had Abby hunt them until the end of the game then be convinced not to kill him. That would show character growth and make the message hit home. Instead it drags you out the experience early and makes you want to give up playing.
    The writers of this game, in my opinion, completely **** up and ruined this sequel the same way The Last Jedi did for Star Wars.    … Expand

    Very thing about this game gets your heart racing its I've never played a game that makes me feel as emotional as this. It's goring and very gruesome and I love very minute of it. The detail is astounding this is a huge step forward in video games and I can't wait to see what they can create on the PS5.

    The story(so literally the whole point of single player game) is trash. I don't know who approved it and I know I'll be attacked by soyboys and SJWs, but this is what reviews are for.
    Devs leaked ENTIRE STORY months before release. Most fans didn't like it, what do devs do? Fix it? Take advice from people that are actually gonna play the game? Nope, blame it on homophobia and release it as it is and hope for idiots to buy a bad game because it has homosexual and trans characters in it which is pretty ironic because people who scream the most about it are the most responsible for it. No, we do not care that Ellie is a lesbian. No, we do not care that a dude decided that he feels like a woman. We care about the story and the story here was sacrificed to make a "look here's the story of a lesbian and a pregnant jewish lesbian and then trans woman who isn't killed by angry lesbian because plot armor and then stuff happens".
    To this point I thought that new trilogy of SW was bad. Congratulations you're now #1 in bad storytelling.

    Simplemente es un juego que vas a disfrutar es mucha la diferencia de verlo y jugarlo, en el juego podrás pasar horas jugando y ni te darías cuenta, los gráficos simplemente son geniales, es lo máximo ya es el techo de la ps4, historia a pesar del virus es lo más realista posible.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The gameplay didn't change much since the first part but that's ok. The technical aspects of the game are great. Artistically it's also alright. The story is an abomination and an ego-trip of the writer.
    It really appears that he added a sex scene into the game just to add himself to it. There is no other explanation, the scene is disgusting, unnecessary, and comes completely out of the blue.
    The original characters behave nothing like they were in the first game.
    It's The Last Jedi of gaming, subverting expectations for the sake of subverting expectations. The writing is lazy, literally self agrandizing, story makes no sense and moves nowhere.    … Expand
