    Not a big fan of how naughty dog decided to go along with the story, but the game looks great, has fun combat and is not as linear as the first one. Though the first one is much better.

Also, why take out the multiplayer from the first? Nothing gained from that loss. A game set in a world of death and destruction does not benefit from this plotline as it's justanother drop in the bucketMore game is not better.     Well, the story is terrible, and for a game that's all about the storytelling, this can't be a good game. If you order a chicken sandwich and the bread is great but the chicken is nasty and stringy, that's basically what this game is. I don't know why the critics gave this such high scores. There's really not a lot you get to do in this game either. It feels like I'm being forced to go through the motions just to see what happens next. I kind of wish this "game" was just a movie or something, because at least then it would be condensed into 2 hours of suffering and probably be a lot cheaper.

    Also, for a company that calls itself Naughty Dog, you would think they would know how to program realistically moving dogs in their games. Unfortunately, I saw multiple occasions where a dog would somehow pivot and turn without moving its legs, like it's a freakin' M1A1 Abrams tank. I am pretty sure I've seen more convincing animation in games from 10+ years ago. Hopefully they'll at least patch that nonsense.

    Get woke, go broke. A terrible follow up story to the first game, completely destroying any emotional ties you had with the main protagonist. Minimal improvements to game mechanics. TLOU 2 is waste of time to invest in, and should be viewed as non canon fan fiction, along with Game of thrones S8 and the The last jedi.

    I implore everyone who gets turned off by the user score to please give this game a shot, you will not be disappointed. Do not go in with the preconception that you will hate it, really give it a chance.     It's visuals are gorgeous, the gameplay is super tight and Naughty dog has made some very nice improvements to the formula. The animation work is masterclass.

    The story is also very powerful, please try to go into it with an open mind. Naughty Dog is not trying to push an agenda, there is nothing wrong with having a main character be gay. If we do not allow games to explore real world topics and issues, then how can we expect the medium to ever be seen as something more than a childish past-time?

    Visually, the game is stunning (and no, not brave... just stunning). Everything else is ****. The most important components of a game like this (story and character) are exceptionally lacking. Under no circumstances will I purchase or pay any attention to a third installment.

    This game was honestly one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had.

    I was a huge TLoU fan and was extremely excited for this one, but they've seriously dropped the ball here.

    The gameplay feels very dated, the story is laughably bad, and they have fixed the reviews to try and sell to uninformed people. This is a hard no from me, and if I could give it negative points, I would.

    They have completely destroyed Ellie and Joel's story with this abortion. Druckmann should make a PREQUEL that involves Joel meeting Tess and details their adventures/misadventures. This world's present and future is finished, though.

    A honest review here. Graphics and sound is really good. Gameplay is very similar to the first game, with some improvements. Story is the games biggest problem. Its so bad that I wanted to stop playing the game. The ending is so bad it makes playing through the entire game feel unsatisfying and a waste of time.

    Tengo 3 problemas con la historia/guión de éste juego, lo jugue más o menos por 8 a 10 horas osea que no lo terminé, porque no pude hacerlo.
    1. La muerte de Joel me pareció muy forzada, anticlimatica y tonta por la forma en la que Joel va a una casa rodeado de personas que no conoce, cosa que en pasado jamás haría.
    2. Todos los nuevos personajes carecen de desarrollo, son personajes de plastico, con 0 carisma, 0 personalidad, no solo son eso, pero tambien son aburridos.
    3. La historia pareciera que no tiene un rumbo, vas vagando por ahí sin entender tu proposito y la mayor parte del tiempo es pura depresión, nada de lo que puedas aferrarte y decir "Vale la pena seguir luchando para sobrevivir en este mundo", y si realmente no vale la pena seguir viviendo en ese mundo, no sé para que seguir jugando, la verdad.

    Las cosas positivas del juego son puros factores tecnicos, y como dibujante realmente me hace sentir mal por toda esa gente que trabajó en este juego y que ahora estan recibiendo duras criticas, una pena, pero para mi son merecidas las criticas, pero espero que los artistas de éste juego puedan encontrar otra franquicia para triunfar, porque hicieron un trabajo impecable en el arte y las mecanicas del juego.

    Las compañías de videojuegos tienen que entender las razones por las cuales sus juegos son exitosos antes de hacer una secuela, para eso estan las criticas y deberían leer más a los jugadores, lamentablemente para mi, éste juego ya no tiene salvación y de todo corazón le digo a la gente, si les gustó el primer juego, no compren éste, solo les va a romper el corazón.

    Gráficos 8/10: De lo mejor que vas a encontrar en un juego de ps4, los detalles de las fisicas y la ambientación son impresionantes, muy bien hecho. Menos el salto, es increíblemente malo el salto en este juego, hasta hubiese preferido que no lo pusieran.
    Personajes 2/10: Ni siquiera los personajes de la primera entrega me gustaron en su forma de actuar en esta secuela, ni que decir los nuevos personajes, todo mal.
    Historia 1/10: Hasta donde jugué yo, incoherente, tonta y aburrida, de las peores historías que haya jugado en un videojuego triple A
    Banda sonora 6/10: Personalmente no es mi banda sonora favorita, no es mala, pero personalmente no me gusta, está regular.    … Expand

    Game is great. I have played through the scenes that people seem to be upset about and have to ask, what do you know about being a teenage girl? The story feels very authentic. And I can see ellie making the choices she does. You may not like them, but that's the game

    The gameplay is clunky and has seen no real improvements since the first game which is surprising considering how much time they had to create it.

    The visuals are really no better in comparison to the first but has opted for a darker and woefully dull colour scheme.

    Lastly the main glaring issue with this game, the storyline, in some woke new age where Naughty Dog's main man Neil Druckmann has decided to remove the fun from his game to portrait a forward thinking agenda, he has completely undone all the previous work from its predecessor in the way this storyline has affected the main characters in such a disrespectful manner to which their demise was played out and all at the hands of a woman so muscular that I've lived a hefty portion of my life never seeing one so 'manish' in human society.

    All in all this game couldn't have paid me enough money to write a good review about this shambles of a 'AAA title', i would even go so far to say that i wish i hadn't played the first game if it meant saving me from this level of disappointment, Naughty Dog had so long to make this game a hit and couldn't even accomplish that, if i were you i would avoid this game at all costs and i believe that you and your wallet will thank me.    … Expand

    Graphics are great, the whole feels alive.
    Gameplay hasn't change since the first one and is kinda jenky at parts
    A couple bugs here and there nothing game breaking
    story is really underwhelming as a follow up to the first one
    Ellie's face animations are weird
    Tommy and Jessie are kinda good but most characters feels shallow especially Ellie compare to the first one

    Геймплей: балдёжный, я бы сказал даже очень (8/10). Но он очень красиво "раскидан", и не надоедает, ибо это на самом деле интересно. Игра конечно про сюжет, а не геймплей, но лучше если и оставить впечатления, то только геймплейно.

    I don’t get the hate the game is getting. I’m assuming it’s from the opening and Abby but I don’t have any problem with her and I usually don’t enjoy having sjw stuff thrown into games. The gameplay is amazing and I for one love the story.

But honestly, if the developers want the audience to feel attached to a brand new character, that’s what they have to do. It’s a bit overboard for someone like me who doesn’t really see this much LGBT representation in media, but I see what they did and I respect it. If something happens to Dina, how do they expect the audience to feel something for her they same way if something were to happen to Joel or Ellie in the first game? There’s a lot of people that love the game, they’re just not the one searching the internet for spoilers and the opinions of others, and are currently still playing the game for THEMSELVES.… Expand

    I have never seen anything like this... the trailer was completely different from the game and the amount of politics in the game made me really sad.

    I was looking forward to playing the sequel of my favourite game but what naughty dog did is inconceivable.

Joel being wary of strangers and even ELLIE having this treatment for a while?

    Nope Joel just goes in a place with his brother, announces that he is Joel, where Abby, just clubs him to death with a golf club while Ellie was busy getting high and scissor with her GF. You might think it'll get betterbut it doesn't. Eventually you play as Abby and get in some cringeworthy sex scene where she takes it up the ass dry.

    Then you might think, the ending couldn't be as bad as the leaks made it out to be right? It's just as bad. Ellie, killing hundreds to get to Abby, finds her on a cross, frees her, and while they're about to go their separate ways. Ellie decides "Nah I can't let you go" And thus begins the final "boss" you slash at Abby a bunch until she hits the knife away, then punch her a bunch start drowning her, her two fingers bit off. And then when Ellie has her. She could get her revenge right then and there, just holds her a few more seconds underwater? She gets a vision of Joel and suddenly decides that revenge is bad and lets Abby leave. It's really just a kick in the gut to anyone who even remotely liked the first game.    … Expand

    6 hours into this trash of a story. Already feeling disgusted. The game looks amazing and gameplay is brilliant. Giving 1 star for that. Else what they have done to the story is despicable. People like Neil should not be allowed so much power to destroy amazing characters like this. What a shame.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.
