    Around half way through so far and have to say its great to be back in the tlou universe again. Loving it and cant wait to replay. Has the emotional kick in the teeth that was to be expected. Can't say more without spoilers.
    If you are a console gamer then there is no issue with the play style but if your main is PC you may have a few issues at first.

    1) Blind Fans, that give a 10 out of pure love for their brand or developing house
    2) Fans that still care of what is given them and don't accept all the crap down their throat. I'm part of the second group and this game is pure garbage, yes technically astounding the PS4 is pushed at its limits, but the rest?     The game is wonderful. the story is realistic in the extreme. I liked it, not 100%, I would change some things, I liked the game but I understand the point of view of those who didn't like it.

    Great graphics. Everything else depressing & unfun. I’m great with LGBT characters. But regardless of their sexuality or orientation, this story was just bad.

    Oh man, how can I say it. The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is nice, similar to the first. But the histsory, oh boy, wtf were they thinking. They destroyed all the good we had on the first one. Buy it on sale only.

    The First TLOU had a great story and characters which felt real and relatable even. Even though the game play and combat was not great, it did not matter because we loved the characters and their development and relationships. This games abandoned all that for nothing really. A real disappointment and a shame really.

    Completely removes the impact the first game had. Throws SJW agendas in your face. A terrible sequel to an amazing franchise, would never recommend playing this, unless you like being hurt. Storytelling is trash. Graphics are nice, but they are common amongst recent game. I'd suggest you spend your money on a better game.

    Al final del juego luego de que ellis mate a mucha gente para llegar hacia la asesina de su figura paterna al final ellis reflexiona y llega a la conclusión de "la venganza no es buena" y lo es no es buena pero tuvieron que poner una opción de dejarla viva o asesinarla osea un final alternativo donde escoges venganza pero nooo solo hay un final y es dejarla viva luego de asesinar a un montón para llegar a ella osea que puto asco un juego que tuvo muchas expectativas y fue un asco en historia y bastante desperdiciado no se compara a asu antesesor la verdad ni debería ser canon xd en cuanto a gameplay no hay quejas es lo mismo que el 1 pero la historia lo cual era su mayor fuerte dejó un enorme mal sabor de boca una completa decepción.    … Expand

    The first part is very good , the graphics are amazing playing as Ellie within the game going through the levels is without a doubt is very good ,throughout the first part you get certain flashbacks of Joel whereby Ellie remembers the time she had with Joel. For the second part things begin to take a turn and things start going all out on agenda so far as I play I'll give the second part a 4 out of 10 if there wasnt any agenda within the game and a better villain this game would of at least been about a 8 out of 10 in total while playing I cant shake the thought of if ND wanted shock value they could of used Joel's daughter as a villain which has somehow survived and memory lost , what I mean by this is that the government or people who probably created the virus brought her back and made her some super solider which Joel and Ellie goes up against which Joel then sacrifices his life in order to save her that would of been a better send off for Joel but thats just my opinion.… Expand

It's a Druckman troll job against people who enjoyed the first game. I don't know what it is with SJW's and their never ending determination to destroy rather than create, but this game is a constant in-your-face progressive propaganda fairy tale that spits on everything that made the first game a success. Druckman inserts himself (no pun intended) in the most cringy Jeffrey Epstein inspired moment that makes you wish they shipped a MiB Neuralyzer with the game.… Expand

    -Graphics are ps4's best and seeing all that plantation around the world and details of persons face simply wow. -Details are insane, how everyone reacts to your action how    The Last of Us 2 takes place five years after the first one and after a horrific event, we step up into the shoes of Ellie who goes on a rampage to Seattle.
    This game has an amazing presentation right at the start.
    -Graphics are ps4's best and seeing all that plantation around the world and details of persons face simply wow.
    -Details are insane, how everyone reacts to your action how enemies communicate, and how intense some of those fighting scenes are.
    -Music well, its good and sound design also as expected.
    -The gameplay is the same Last of us gameplay pretty simple overall but they have added new mechanics on stealth and luring enemies. This game is violent but it fits the theme.
    -Performance is overall good but they were horrible glitches sometimes and bugs.
    -AI and Difficulty customization is a thing that every studio should consider but yeah must have been expensive! You can even customize the overall look of the game.
    -This game took me 26 hours to beat and I still felt that I didn't check every corner.

    The biggest problem I have with this game is the story.
    It has phasing issues and very questionable choices. I honestly understand why some people won't finish the game because of those choices. Some people act out of character sometimes and after a couple of scenes, I understand the hate. I think some choices are forced which makes it sometimes feel like a bad episode of a tv series. Now I won't say that the story is absolutely horrible because it isn't but it could be a LOT better! It's a revenge story, I love revenge stories but I think the motives and shock value that game shows sometimes felt off.
    Even I said that the story isn't horrible, right now after finishing it, I don't feel to start it again anytime soon... right now it feels like it isn't worth it because of those choices ND made. After end credits, I just felt a hole in a chest. It feels like a one-off to me which is not a good sign. The ending got me hard and I can relate to it but I know for someone that isn't their cup of tea. Simply the game lacks a proper conclusion to its characters and story.

    The Last of Us didn't need a sequel IMO. We had a game with simple gameplay but with a good story and loveable characters but now after 2 and what happens to some characters imagining going back to The Last of Us 1 breaks my heart. Right now I just hope that The Last of Us part 3 will not be a thing.

    The Last of Us 2 is the beautiful pinnacle of showing how games have changed and how brutal they can be but it trembles badly on the story and it can leave you feeling hollow at the end.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I wasn't planning on writing a review for this game but 10/10 reviews are so dishonest that I had to write one.
    This game is not as awful as many people say but that's only due to the action scenes, the story is absolute crap and they basically took a huge dump on the first one (which I loved).
    Firstly, what's good in the game?
    - Action scenes: They are numerous and awesome (most of them are at least, I am not a big fan of the infected scenes)
    - Attention to detail: This is obvious, they really did pay a lot of attention to the details, love the guns, love the bows, love how the glass cracks when you step on it...etc.
    - Songs/Music: The guitar stuff is awesome, I liked playing the guitar in the game
    So what's wrong with it?
    - Characters: Ellie is an awesome character and so is Joel but that's not because of this game but the previous one. The other characters are trash, I am sorry to say. Ellie's gf is a non-character, I'm not sure what Ellie likes about her. She's not funny, not interesting, not cool. Almost the same goes for Jesse. However, the worst is Abby. Why am I forced to play almost half the game as Abby when my first encounter with her is when Joel and Tommy save her and she kills Joel. I don't really care about him being killed, it's a part of stories, the mentor character usually dies to give the chance for the mentored the chance to grow and deal with stuff alone, that's fine. I did not feel any connection to Abby at all, the gameplay was exciting but that's it, I kinda wanted her to die all along. I get the story, I get that Joel killed her father but and that this was a revenge mission for her but why force the player to play with her without giving enough playtime where the player can connect to the character? All the other characters are absolute trash and not even worth the time to write about them.
    - Conversations: Sometimes they seem to be forced, they really tried to make them sound "genuine" but in some places they just fail: the Sherlock joke, the craving it part stand out to me as too forced.
    Overall: Don't buy it now, only when it's cheaper. The gameplay is fun but the story is trash, definitely not one of the greatest ever.    … Expand

After the first game was so great, there’s no point in reading the reviews because the 2nd is bound to be fantastic.. How wrong was I, and I hang my head in shame! You fooled me! I have just got past the Joel death and made my way to Seattle and I have turned it off, never to be turned back on again.. There is an ‘Woke’ agenda that’s been pushed into this game needlessly. . I’m all for more female characters and more diversity in my games. But not at the detriment of the stories and characters I’ve grown to love!! Make a new IP or a stand alone story for that. And that’s not me being sexist or prejudice. I’d feel the same if you swapped out Lara Croft for a **** male character! Stop trying to be so woke with our beloved games and characters!... no one is stopping you creating brand new content but please just stop this airbrushing out the ones we love!     Why this game has a high score i don't know. It's not that great it's ok at best the story sucks. The game is so boring and just slow. People are not like this in real life. People learn and grow not in this game that wants to be real. Don't buy this game save your money. it didn't turn out in my opinion

    This game is Okay, the gameplay is good enough (yet it barely even innovates or does anything new compared to the last masterpiece that was TLOU1).     Joel in this game is not the wise person from the last, and makes a very foolish decision    This game is Okay, the gameplay is good enough (yet it barely even innovates or does anything new compared to the last masterpiece that was TLOU1). The main problem here is the story...the game tries to be something new yet it stumbles and ends up looking like it was written by a very foolish person.
    Joel in this game is not the wise person from the last, and makes a very foolish decision within the first 2 hours of the game; his character just did not remind me of the Joel from the first.

    the second problem is that the game throws away the duo of Joel and Ellie - a duo we already loved, a, a flawed duo with issues. Now the developers have decided to make us play as yet another flawed character for no reason at all ( the villain: Abby). Why? people from the very start wanted JOEL. Not Abby or just Ellie. They wanted the duo from the first game!

    Third and final point - this game tries to be too realistic and violent for its own good yet it just ends up being stupid and the game seems to forget its characters personalities and in the end the game actually ends up teaching us no lesson or moral at all. Its like the sole reason they have made this game is to show needless gore and tragic deaths. its forced pain. SPOILERS: It does not make sense why Ellie goes on a killing spree, whips one girl to death, kills another pregnant woman... to in the end, let the villain get away... that is just unbelievable and a waste of 30 hours. Killing those who aren't responsible and leaving the one who is? The game teaches us something IMMORAL.

    TBH I have not played this game, but I don't need to XD - because the gameplay speaks for itself.

    TLOU1 was special for a reason; although its story wasn't something innovative or original by any means - it NAILED, the character development, the lesson of surviving and determination, the storytelling, the balance between cut scene and game play. It did what had to be done PERFECTLY. TLOU2 will never be the game its predecessor was - and the first game in my eyes still remains as the KING.    … Expand

    One of the best if not the best game out there. Great story, gameplay, graphics, characters. The Last of Us PART II is a worthly successor of The Last of Us.

Я люблю Джоэла, я рыдал, когда его убила эта баба, но когда я дальше прошёл и понял причину, то осознал, что это полностью вина Джоэла, он сам на это решился в первой части и получил во второй. Игра имеет огромный моральный посыл и после концовки даёт поразмыслить над произошедшей историей. Элли мстит за Джоэла, так как и Джоэл хотел спасти Элли в первой части, он убивал всех без раздумий, только ради неё, потому что любил её. Во второй части она не смогла спасти его, но решила мстить и также без раздумий убивала. Как Джоэла настигла кара, так и Элли. Эта история очень крепкая и намного взрослее, чем в первой части, которая была построена на любви и привязанности, на детской восторженности, даже во время апокалипсиса. Во второй же всё наоборот: грусть, отчаяние, безысходность - всё, что преследует тебя по прохождению.     Gameplay: Outdated boring gameplay to the point its embarrassing, typical stealth third person shooter template feeling. No enemy variation to speak off, bosses if you can even call them that are universally Bad.

    Story: Laughable story that tries way to hard to be dark and edgy to the point it makes your eyes roll and its pretty evident that whoever came up with it also isnt particular fond of males, misandry all around in the story,
    including Developer self insert and finger wagging, bad characters all around Abby in particular is one of the worst characters i have yet seen in any modern aaa "movie" game.

    Visuals: Very good and pretty realistic but absolutely boring to look at with no imagination in its setting.
    At times when you play this thing you really would just wish that the people who made these games look so good would do a collaboration with people who know how to make games, as it stands right now the visuals are wasted on a **** game.

    Music: Might be the one saving grace but even then its nothing outstanding that sticks with you.

    This game to me proved that modern day "rofessional" reviewers dont care about gameplay and wouldn't know a good game if it bites them in the ass.

    Modern "professional" reviewers are noticeably confused and probably a better fit as movie reviewers and not game reviewers anymore.
    A game like Final Fantasy 7remake with a pitch perfect combat system, countless different enemies and every single Bossfights so good that it would make your average western AAA studio beg to just have one of those as their final boss in their game gets a 8/10 from the so called "professionals".

    All while last of us 2 with UE4 tier outdated stealth/third person combat template you have played a 1000 times already and about 10 different humanoid enemies gets a 10/10 because of "muh social issues" and a forced "dark" eye rolling story.
    This to me proves that modern reviewers influence over the last 10 years on the video game Industry has been largely negative and i am glad they steadily lose more and more of what little influence they still have.    … Expand

    +1. Graphics and sound is really good. Game play is very similar to the first game, with some improvements. Story is the games biggest problem. Its so bad that I wanted to stop playing the game. The ending is so bad it makes playing through the entire game feel unsatisfying and a waste of time.

    Hands down one of the best (if not THE best) Games i have ever played - and I startet with a NES.

    I never felt more attached to a fictional Character (straight male here). The story got me fulltime. It was a blast to play.

    Before you enter the hate-Train take your time to make up your own mind. So you wont miss one of the best Games ever made.

The script and character were just as well written as the first. To be honest, the arc was just a little more pleasing on the first, but hey... it's pretty much impossible to step into the same river twice.    This game was just fine.

Sorry the game isnt all rainbows and sunshine, if that is what you want stick to Crash Bandicoot or Mario Kart. The game is dark as it should be. The butt hurt over the death of Joel is laughable. It was inevitable he would die. Ellie being gay was known from the first game if you paid attention. Gameplay is much like the 1st game so easy to pick up and play. The story is great if you simply put your fanboy butt hurt away. This game is everything I hoped it would be. Accept it for what it is, a dark brooding game set in a world where everything could kill you including other humans, exactly what would happen in real life in this setting. If you expect all games to have a happy ending then dont buy this, but if you can accept that some games, much like life, dont always end well then this game is for you.… Expand
