    Words cannot express how I feel about this game. The first Last of Us brought great memories, great character development, the game was a personification of 10/10. 7 years later... The game had so much potential, 7 years, 7 years, we waited, I member 2 years ago when the reveal trailer came out, me and the boys got soooo hyped, not to mention the constant delays. The only good thing to come from this dumpster fire is that people are finally realising access media (IGN, Metacritic etc.) don't actually review games based on it's aspects, but are getting reviewed based on the agenda it pushing in order to keep that ethical halo.     Este no es ni el mejor juego de Naughty Dog ni es superior a la entrega anterior .

    Historia 4/10

    Para mi este juego tiene las 2-3 h mejores del juego manejar a Abby corriendo evitando a los infectados etc hasta el momento culmen de la muerte de Joel. Otra parte que me pareció muy buena es en la que vamos a caballo corriendo huyendo de la ciudad de los Scars en llamas
    Luego nos ponen a Ellie y que se quiere vengar de todos los implicado hasta ahi la trama esta relativamente bien hasta que llegados a un punto donde manejamos a Abby alrededor de 4-5h más de la mitad de esta historia es puro relleno y muy alargada se me hizo muy muy pesada hasta el supuesto final del juego donde nos enfrentamos a Ellie como si fuera la mala del juego, luego tenemos una especie de final con la familia feliz de Ellie la novia y el bebe pero Elli esta atormentada de no haberse vengado de la muerte de Joel donde tenemos una escena totalmente alargada hasta que llegamos al final donde se pegan sin sentido las 2 .
    Mas o menos ese seria mi resumen sin contar las mies de muertes que hay en el juego donde tu deseas que se vengue de Joel y no lo logramos.
    Entre ellas tenemos una escena sin sentido que despues de matar y degollar mazo de gente luego nos ponen a Elie como arrepentida de tortura a X personaje.

    Nada mas que decir en esto son unso expertos es lo mejor que se ve en la consola, lo unico que puedo decir que me parece muy exagerado todo lo verde que se ha puesto la ciudad

    Nada que decir de este aspecto ya que esta en los momento necesarios y muy buena

    Jugabilidad 5/10
    Si es cierto que la IA se comporta mejor que en el anterior juego no me parece una maravilla, todavía cuesta mucho que los npc se den cuenta de que estas detrás de ellos en sigilo y parecen tontos.
    Si ha variado la cantidad de cosas y pequeños puzzles que te encuentras al rededor del escenario

    No commitment to the characters we fell in love with in the first game. Forced SJW agenda. A very poorly written, generic revenge story with massive plot holes. An absolute middle finger to the fan base and one of the biggest storytelling meltdowns we have ever witnessed.

    I invited one of my homies to stream the game with me. Our plan was to get piss drunk as we were playing this game. We ended up sobering up and checking out right at the two hour mark. This game tries way too hard to be profound. It fails miserably at trying to be profound because it's just too boring. Slogging from one cutscene to the next just felt like a chore.     The second part of the game with Abby was absolutely infuriating. Why did you even bother to make this trash of a game? To hell with your SJW crap, I'll stick with better games like JRPGs.     After the first game, a true masterpiece, many years have passed. Nowadays feminists sjw and other categories are trying to destroy all the good that various fanchises like star wars, ghostbusters, marvel, disney did in the past. So they reverse all the franchises and put feminist masculine main characters to kill the standard white male patriarch. This is absurd because all the franchises we love from the past have nothing of discriminatory. but feminist and sjw are obsessed and will follow with their agenda in the next years. Trying not consider this political aspect, the game itself is garbage. In fact the story is ridicolous. In the begin you kill joel in a bloody way, next you play the role of the monster who killed him. You are obbliged. Next you play ellie to revenge him, you kill hundreds of people and innocents. At the end you save ebbie and let himher go. This is no sense. So the entire plot is created only to promote the sjw agenda, nothing is logical. The gameplay has nothing more than you can expect, the game is also repetitive, and you play the role of a character you hate, that make choices you don't agree with. The graphics can't save such bull **** On the other end we see Sony new double standard. LGBT SJW FEMINIST GAMEs can have nude and sex por.n scenes. If you don't agree then you are homophobe. What the heck is wrong with people?? There is nothing wrong with being lesbian and we have to get rid of the sexsim in the game industry. I want awesome developed male and female characters. However, most games focus on the strong male perception, what about the role of awesome strong female characters?

    In the last of us part 2. Neil Druckman and the entire team at Naughty Dog created pure art, and I can't praise them enough for it!

    Non ho mai pensato che nella la old gen. io avrei dato un 10 ma questo gioco lo merita tutto perché è stupendo in tutti i punti di vista e ti invoglia a giocarlo e rigiocarlo anche 2 3 o 4 volte. Magari ci sarebbero alcuni bug grafici da fixare ma il gioco è appena uscito quindi ripongo fiducia nei confronti della Naughty dog

    If you enjoyed the 1st game then just know that all of the characters you love will be brutalised horrifically in a plot i can only describe as Sadistic and just plain not fun to play.....

    The games looks pretty good. Animations, models, textures, everything - wonderful. The game play is just boring. It's nothing new since the first part. The story is boring. Exceptionally boring.
    I hate this game because i loved the first part. But if Naughty Dog thinks that they can just put lots of money and zero creativity to make game good - its not true.

    I can’t believe I spent $60 on this garbage. The story was worse than raw sewage in a dumpster that was lit on fire and thrown into Australia. Like seriously I broke the disk and put it in my compost bin I don’t even think the worms like this game. 0/10

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm just gonna be straight up honest here. I played the first TLOU several times through and loved everything about it. The seven year wait until TLOU2 was tough, but I had such high hopes for it after the all the love that was put into the first.

    I got the game on release and finished it a few hours ago. I have to admit, I did find it incredibly hard to carry on playing after a very questionable and unexpected death of the beloved character, Joel. This isn't the main reason why I can't bring myself to give this game a positive review, but it did suck to see a character that you grew to like and had such big expectations for his and Ellie's paths in TLOU2 get taken out in such a...pointless way. It honestly felt that all the things they went through in the first was just tossed out the window.

    I found myself being unable to feel anything for the new characters that were introduced. The new antagonist brought in I felt was just extremely bland and unoriginal. I feel revenge plots are just so overused these days and bring nothing unique to games. However, I did push on as I wanted to experience the whole game and see how it all ended.

    When I reached the ending I have to admit that I was glad it was over. Having Ellie go through the entire game killing multiple people in order to get her revenge for the death of the man who had protected her and loved her as his own daughter, only to allow the character who killed him to go free. This just adds to the pointless killings that she had done throughout the game leading up to this moment. I get that they wanted Ellie to realise that her killing Abby would just make her the same as her, but it's the fact she killed so many people to get to Abby, only to let her live.

    The storyline just ruined the entire game for me. Very badly written and dull. Revenge plots are just extremely unfun to play after you've seen it done before.

    The positives from this game:

    - Incredibly beautiful graphics. Hard to believe it's on the PS4 at times. Amazing job by the designers.

    - Voice acting on point as always!They get the emotions through very well.

    - Environment. Great settings and very well made for certain scenes.

    - Soundtrack is always a pleasure to listen to.

    Reason for my score is sadly because, for me, the negatives outweigh the positives too much. I hope they learn from this feedback and can understand that I'm not leaving a bad review just for the sake of it. It does make me sad to be leaving a score this low, but my hopes were crushed.    … Expand

    The story doesn’t make any sense. The characters, particularly one of the protagonists, behave in highly uncharacteristic ways in order to serve the writing/political message that the dev team wanted to convey. Play this game if you want to walk through a political agenda for 60 hours. If not, just go on with your life and think for yourself. Also metacritic seems to not want to let me post this

Graphically the game just isn't much more impressive than Last of Us Remastered, focusing on mood lighting to make up for the seven year old PS4 hardware to cover up its very clear cracks, while still utterly paling in comparison to Red Dead Redemption 2. Gameplay likewise is barely different from the first game, with minimal additions to how it's played (a very crappy dedicated jump button is a perfect symbol of this). Stages feel a bit more linear believe it or not, and no moment even approaches scary or even particularly tense.
    Both of these disappointments, however, could've been made up for if it weren't for Naughty Dog's worst story yet. Where Last of Us 1 was a nuanced character driven plot about a father rekindling his humanity, and a child growing into a hardened survivor, Last of Us 2 took a much more generic "revenge is bad" route. Joel is unceremoniously murdered after falling for a trick that he himself would've come up with during his early days as a raider, with Niel Druckmann's self insert immediately spitting on his still warm corpse as Ellie watches. Anything related to the core plot (Ellie as the cure and how or if she can survive this) are immediately pushed beyond the backburner in lieu of petty politics and soulless relationship drama. New bland characters that nobody would ever care about flood into the mix, filling the story with drivel as you shoot increasingly repetitive zombies and cultists. The game chooses to mix things up with clumsy flashbacks (including flashbacks within flashbacks; absolutely shameless), putting the player in control of Abby, the now infamous she-hulk who murdered Joel in her own act of petty revenge. The rest of the game focuses on Ellie losing everyone and everything she has left just to kill Abby, with even Joel's iconic lie at the end of TLOU1 getting brushed off and forgotten quickly. And when Ellie does finally catch up to Abby, after killing swaths of people, relationships, and infected, and losing her precious guitar-playing fingers in the process, she decides that Abby's life isn't worth the price she already overpaid for, leaves her alive, and goes home to find out that karen took the kids. I'm not kidding, after learning this valuable lesson, her girlfriend leaves with their kid, never to be seen again. The story ends with Ellie ditching the last thing she has, Joel's guitar, because literally watching not Niel Druckmann spitting on his caved in head wasn't enough.
    If the gameplay were better, or the graphics were prettier, or if story wasn't such a huge focus in every Naughty Dog game since Jak 3, I probably wouldn't care. But you don't play ND games for the gameplay. You play them to watch how events unfold. Niel Druckmann didn't drop the ball here. He stabbed the ball with a penknife, ruining the game for everyone, and then attempted to bribe commentators into saying he made an excellent play.
    But at least the music was good. One full point there.

    Typically I buy games on PS when they get a decent discount but in this specific case I decided to purchase an Extended version on PS Store from the day 1 in order to support Naughty Dog!     From the graphics to the mechanics, this game is amazing. TLOU2 has very few bugs that I've encountered, as well. The writing is perfectly fine, as well. Theres a surprise very early in the game, and at first it made me very worried for the rest of the game, but after playing through the game, I can safely say that I wouldnt have it any other way.

    They really managed to completely ruin a game that could possibly be the best game up to date, so shameful and such a disappointment, I was really looking forward to this game and waiting 7 years to end up with this trash story is beyond sad.. I was such a fan of the TLOU and seeing how they ruined it makes me really sad.

Es muy aburrido, se carga la historia, incluso un personaje que se parece a Neil, le escupe a un personaje importante. Es obvio que el mismo Neil sabe que le escupe a sus usuarios.     Beautiful game.

    But the overall story is utterly nonsensical. Wasting the majority of the game with a boring and blank character like Abby was a huge mistake. Naughty Dog should have stick their guns with Ellie... playing as Abby feels like a massive side quest / a boring DLC that really didn't hit the mark.

    TLOU fans deserved better.

    Unlike most user reviews here, I’ve actually played the game from beginning to end. It was one of the best games I have ever played in my entire life. It surpasses the original in almost every way. The characters, the story, the gameplay, the world... just wow. Naughty Dog has done it again.

As someone who loved the first game , this sequel is a complete waste of time and don't deserve the hype it got , the first time I saw the leaks were Joel being hit by a golf club I said to my self I will give another chance and play the game until I saw another leak of Joel saving Abby from a infected attack then I lost my **** and said I'm not playing it but I take it back and said I will play it and see what's the ending will be , so after I said that I searched TLOU2 on YouTube and i saw the ending and omg it's so bad the game of thrones s8 is way more better then this **** , basically the ending is tommy finds Ellie and dina with their baby in a house , tommy gave Ellie we're Abby would be so Ellie goes after her and find her hanging on a tree and she was so skinny , cut her down with Lev and waited her to get on the boat until she grabbed her hair and fought , Ellie was going to kill her then she remembers Joel sitting playing some music with the guitar and stopped, and them she spares her and till got to go , I have waited 7 years for Thai **** , really I mean really really , I'm sad and mad and I hope Neil **** would **** die .… Expand

Yes, more games have jumping but it just feels natural in the last of us part 2 and more believable then the jumping in drakes uncharted. We can prone and be more stealthy through grass which gives the game a way better vibe for us stealth players because we all know that you should stealth kill as many people as possible before you spray your bullets away. The A.I is much better than in the first game and everything gets a lot more realistic and believable once you ramp up that difficulty. MY favorite part is you do not need to head shot every enemy even though that is much more effective because of the one-hit kill. You can shoot them in the stomach and the NPC’s react as if that hurts and stuns them giving you time to run up and kick their ass face to face with Ellies knife. The open areas are bigger than in the uncharted los legacy. You can easily find the hidden areas by reading letters you find. Posters on the wall. Even just finding them yourself. You can find a key with the name of the store on it and go to that store to get nice little details getting you to know the characters and how Ellie has developed as a person over the years and her relationships with the people around her. (I can explain more but spoilers would happen.) The little details shine here also because if you look at Ellie's face as she is impaling a human’s neck with her knife she looks as if she is cringing at what she is doing. She does not seem to enjoy it because she is used to killing for survival not for revenge. She is not this angry person killing indiscriminately, she is going after this one group and this group was known terrorists. The military, when they were in power claimed them to be terrorists just like the fireflies that were in Boston. We learned from the first game that these groups are fighting for the right reasons but are going about it the wrong way, killing innocent people along the way thinking it justifies their actions because they got back at the people that are trying to control them, keeping peace. Obviously the military are not the good guys either because they have had to sacrifice people by removing them from the colony in Seattle for petty little crimes like “stealing bread” (random example) because they were running low on supplies and were finding any excuse to boot them out. Which in turned fueled the WLF and aided them in taking over Seattle’s QZ. I could go on for days about the story but again I am not spoiling anything. Character development, story, execution, and pacing are done well here. Clearly naughty dog has learned from there other games and it clearly shows. Also for replay value you can ignore the exploration zones and complete an objective and just progress the story which is nice if you want to complete the harder difficulties with more of a challenge because you have less supplies and certain upgrades that make life easier. In combat we ask if something is not broken why fix it, just expand on the mechanics and that is what they do in this game. The gun upgrades and skill upgrades are more impactful and make your character even more bad ass even though it can just be from less weapon sway or even a six times scope on your rifle. The shotgun is brutal and shreds your enemies with ease. Melee weapons feel like they hurt and have you cringing when you hear that pipe connect to a WLF’s head. Honestly, the game has you feel bad for some of these people when you see their human side and has you hate them again when you see how brutal and hateful, they can be. (I use human side because that is spoiler free way of saying they are only normal people surviving). You are constantly at a struggle to see who the real bad guys are in this game and that theme is a huge roll in the story. Which is true in real life because to me there is no good or bad just perspective and they nail it here. I could say more but you must play this game and you will enjoy it. If I say more then it will spoil key moments and game play features that you will love and enjoy more as you find them out for yourself. Its way better than the first like it should be and plays how you want it to if you are a fan of the last of us. Better mechanics, smoother shooting, smoother movement, better execution. Buy it and you will not regret it. I gave it a 8 because the game play is amazing and I love every aspect of the game but no risks were taken trying to change up the formula. Instead they made the formula better by improving upon it but that isn't a bad thing either.… Expand

As a developer it feels an immense pain in heart seeing your game being hated by so many people out in the wild. The game in which you worked so hard, took care of every little detail and ensured that everyone could play this game by giving upto 60 accessibility options being hated by such a large amount of public could make any man go feel worthless and sad. First of all kudos to all the people in Naughty Dog who worked day and night so hard to make such a great piece of art only to be hated by public just because it got spoiled. The ethics and morality of people have fallen to such great degree one can't imagine. People flooding with negative reviews, even when they haven't purchased the game and not experienced every character in it. I have even asked a man if he had played the whole game, to which he replied, "nah! I watched few you tube videos and this game is **** Despite living in a world where proverbs like Don't judge a book by it's cover or One man's trash another man's treasure are prevalent, but it seems they are just mere words, whose importance and meaning no one understand. There are many things in this world many events, that people disgraced and hated at first, but over time people came to knew that they were utterly wrong and hate themselves for criticizing for what that people or events which were so beyond that time that they were classified as total nonsense and madness. Flat earthers, people whenever they heard long time ago that earth was sphere by some fellow who knew what others can't ever think of in their life, just laugh at him and call him a mental fellow. But with time, the whole world knew they were wrong and he was right. But they can't do anything except sobbing and showing remorse, because that fellow is no more then. Heliocentric model of solar system is another example and story of Nicola Tesla and Edison is another. Over time we came to knew the reality, and how these people thought way ahead of their time, and gave us that knowledge which seemed like pure fantasy stuff.
    Last of Us 2 is one of them, and i can't explain how brutal but impactful and captivating this game is, and i have never played something like this ever in my life. The first game showed us the story that everyone wants, a loving bond between 2 people who don't know each other but still put their lives on tip of knife just to protect each other and have a happy ending. The second game continues on that impactful story, just this time we see a story that everyone gets. When it's pandemic, the world is destroyed to a extent in which last of us take place, their are no heroes and no villains. Life is equally harsh on everyone, and no one has got special powers so he can never die. When there is such a pandemic and you lost your loved one forever, you don't see who killed your loved one, you don't care how big noble person he is, it doesn't matter to you whether he was just defending himself, you just see him as your enemy and that whats this game is all about. Due to the pandemic, the people ethics have fallen to lowest level, that is they only care about whom they are familiar with, and that is the first level of caring. People watched the original game story from Joel's perspective, but if you make a player play the story of abby's only from part two, who has no prior experience or knowledge of part one, then for them Abby is a hero and Ellie and Joel are villain. Cause in this pandemic when everything is harsh and brutal, you only have your family and friends whom you can trust. And even when they die, you are just left with remorse and thirst for revenge. With no moral or crime system, people are free. And this is what part 2 shows us. It doesn't tell the story of one person only, but thousands and thousands of other people too, who are just looking for a reason to survive too, and it want to establish a fact that no one is a HERO, everyone is just doing, what a normal person would do on that particular event. The whole game is beautifully crafted. Being able to save myself from any kind of spoilers, i enjoyed the game to it's full extent and every second cinematic feels 100% true, except few sex scenes which could be true but were inappropriately added, which just soured my experience, everything else was what Naughty Dog is renowned for. I specially like the character Lev, and he just made me remembered of Ellie, who just protected herself and Joel, but this thirst for revenge only made her a monster. There are many things in game, which are so deep in meaning but can't be recognized by every player. Due to words limit i have to finish writing here only, but if you are one of those people who hate this just because of Opinions, then you are missing a great experience which you will never be able to experience on first place, as you are spoiled.     Quiet possibly one of the worst sequels I've ever had to SUFFER through. The entire game apart from I'd say maybe two moments felt like they had no reason and no emotion.

    The entire sequel was honestly just forced garbage that never needed to happen.

    And in this case it is not. This isn't an understatement. The story of this game and it's character are some of the most putrid pieces of "entertainment" that I've laid my eyes upon this year. And the reason becomes quickly apparent as the game progresses.

    This isn't a story. There is no vision behind this game. It exists as a political statement and serves no purpose beyond that.

    Coming from someone who has enjoyed most of Naughty Dog's works for the past decade and a half, I never thought I'd see the day where they'd destroy the legacy of one of their most popular IP so quickly.

    I can turn a blind eye to mediocre cash-grab sequels, but not to all out propaganda    … Expand

    This is a game meant for people that don't want the run and gun, already know what's gonna happen, same as everything every year game. It is Linear and it is Story Based, but for the mass majority of Gamers that grew up Playing PS and can't game 14 hours a day. This game is pretty dang good. Just buy it and don't listen to others.
