    Its honestly weird, some of the stuff in this game doesn't seem new at all. Quite frankly, they all seem like rehashes of the first game and the characters they do add seem uninspired, generic, and just plain boring. To add to this, the spoilers are absolutely garbage and the only reason why I'm not giving a lower score is because of the good graphics.

    Gameplay quality is still second to story, but now the story is pretty crap.
    Also, I didn't appreciate the bait and switch with the new character.

From the unceremonious death of a character I fell in love with in the first part. It's so disgusting to even write that I can't even believe it made me cry, as if it actually made me cry and get angry. And Pro that at all 2 part of ? ABOUT ANYTHING.     This game is essentially a massive middle finger to the previous title and its done (very cleverly I might add) to make it mostly immune for criticism by shoehorning in a transgender character.     Fantastic game, most clearly do not understand the nuance and depth with real human emotion put into this game. Nowadays people just want what they want and when expectations aren’t met they get upset. I had no expectations going into this game, just confidence in Naughty Dog as one of gamings finest developers to make yet again another fantastic game and surprise they did it. Which turned out to be the most plot hole ridden dumsterfire story anyway.     Historywise is a complete failure, not even at the shadow of the masterpiece of the original game. Dull characters that you could replace with anybody else; the original cast seem like a bunch of bad made AU characters made in a fanfiction and don't even made me talk about the horrible ending with the typical and cliché "violence bad, revenge bad" with Ellie just completely pardoning a literal murderer of not only his paternal figure but countless innocent people; makes absolutely zero sense, and makes the player feel like he wasted his time and money, (Which is clearly what happened) and leaving him a very bad taste. Now, the famous SJW agenda is in this game. It's clearly plot Armour and centerism in Abby and that DISGUSTING sexual scene (God, that's just awful, considering that one of the characters is literally modeled after Neil) makes this game seem like a spit on the fans and Neil making a game for himself.

    Game play wise, it seems like it's just the same as the original, just better animation and graphics with less puzzles and more action. (Doesn't seems like a great improvement in my opinion.)

    Conclusion: Awful made sequel that is so bad, it's better as a fanfiction history and a golf game than a properly made AAA game, lol.

    This really did not seem to be a SJW game in the sense where it made women seem more capable physically and mentally versus the men in the game. It's just a game where women just so happened to be at the core of the conflict. I am one of those people that really dislike the the SJW mentality most of the time and so if that was apparent in this game, I would have turned it off and stopped playing. This game treats femininity like Kill Bill, Alien, Underwater, and even Wonder Woman. The women in this game are competent and have been trained through their survival to be rugged and crafty. The men in the game were not done like Poe or Luke from star wars so that the women in the game looked better. The men were competent and trained to survive as well.

    If you dislike this game, please don't let it be for the leaks because the leaks seemed to make many people think this is a SJW game and its not.    … Expand

    The game loses the entire point of the first game, killing off beloved characters and played more like a movie than an actual game. The self insert character that was based on the director of the game was also disrespectful, spitting on a beloved character making it feel like it was him spitting on the game, the characters everyone loved, and him disrespecting the fans of the game.

    Сюжет, вроде должен быть хорошим, так как построен на ненависти. Что ненавистью не победить ненависть, но реализация ужасна! И вот почему.
    Во-первых, вроде как главный женщина по имени Эбби злодей, но Эбби абсолютно не хариматичный персонаж. Ты не испытываешь к ней симпатию. Главы с ней душные и скучные. Так же не понятна ее мотивация, ее отца убили. Но это не повод убивать Джоэла, если бы вместо нее добавили мужского персонажа, у которого Джоэл убил всю его семью прямо у него на глазах, я бы понял мотивацию убить Джоэла. Ели можно сделать так, во время схватки с ним он убивает Джоэла, это было бы очень грустно. Хорошая была бы мотивация у злодей в том,ичто он все детство жил в ненависти. У него не было родителей, его все ненавидили и пытались убить. Да всё, что угодно можно сделать, что бы это было интересно. Но разработки выбрали самый плохой из всех вариантов.
    Саундтрек это отдельная тема. Его в игре просто нет, или из редка похрипывает гитара на заднем плане. И все, никого эпичного, грустного саундтрека нет. Игра на натянутую четверку    … Expand

    Es sin duda una buena segunda parte, la jugabilidad, graficos y diseño, quizas la historia no es la mejor pero no es mala, problamente es el simple hecho de que no es la misma esencia que el anterior pero basandome que sea una historia independiente al anterior es una historia bastante melancolica y exelente.

    The plot was not impressive, new characters introduced to please certain communities. The gameplay remains the same as in the first part. Innovations are minimal. I was pleased only with the graphics and individual gameplay moments. I did not like what they did to their favorite character.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's sad watching all of the critics scramble to post articles about the game getting "review bombed" and looking for excuses to justify a bad game being given a legendary rating.

    The game moves extremely clunky and the sneak attack on "the infected" is beyond idiotic. Yes, let me put my arm right below a zombies mouth. This also feels like a game that would benefit much more from allowing users to make some choices. Instead we're mostly stuck watching a film with little game play.

    Critics will jump on the "this is obviously anti-LGBT crowd. No. No one gives a darn about the main character being a lesbian. It's not a romance game and frankly her love interest is so boring. Their interactions are boring and trivial. What makes their relationship worse is knowing the forgettable love interest is essentially Joel's replacement. Speaking of Joel... his death was poorly timed and very poorly setup. The writing around his untimely doom was horrendous. This guy lived 24+ years just to get clapped by some petulant woman he just saved. The guy never had a complete story arc and never had to confront his choice to essentially doom humanity's chance at a cure. Plus, it felt like a watered down crappy version of the Walking Dead's scene with Neagan.

    The game is gorgeous. There's no arguing that and I'm sure thats what critics are getting a hard on about. Not to mention, just like movies, out of touch critics love unpopular plot twists. These are the same people who will pan a movie like Avengers Endgame and then praise a movie like Green Book that no one actually cared to go watch.

    Get off your high horses and admit you're sheep. Not a single negative review from a critic? No one sees how fishy that is? But instead blame fans... you know the people who keep you in business and who the games are supposed to be made for.

    Pretty graphics alone do not make a good game. This is not a worthy sequel to Bruce Straley's work.

    None of the new characters in the game are likeable at all. The main character from the first game gets killed 2 hours in and you are forced to play as the killer for at least 10 hours. When you finally reach the end of the game Ellie decided to not even get her revenge and avenge Joel. The whole game is just one big misery simulator for the sake of being miserable. The story has no direction and feels like it was written by a edgy 14 year old as a fan fiction. Play the first "last of us" and save yourself the headache and skip this game.    … Expand

    Wow, what can I say about this steaming pile of garbage? First of all, it made me sick to my stomach to see them waste the only like able character. But the ending is worst. AND the whole game feels like it has some political agenda. I give it 1 since the graphics is too notch. I’d actually recommend waiting for a used copy in a couple of years - don’t support this nonsense.

É com profundo pesar que preciso dar essa nota a continuação do meu jogo favorito, os motivos são vários, começando pela forma como o Joel foi morto, por todo o desenvolvimento do personagem no primeiro jogo é inimaginável que o Joel seja tão inocente a ponto de confiar em uma estranha dado todo tipo de gente que ele encontrou pelo caminho durante a sua jornada, não é plausível argumentar que ele tava com a guarda baixa porque ele passou a viver em comunidade, ele já viveu em comunidade no jogo anterior. Segundo ponto, por mais que se tente humanizar a Abby, ela continua sendo hipócrita porque sabia que uma garota iria morrer e seu pai estava em conformidade com isso apesar de ser igualmente hipócrita, pois se fosse a Abby no lugar da Ellie ele não iria adiante, ou seja, só devemos fazer tudo pela ciência quando a filha é dos outros, o que denota o egoísmo escancarado do pai da Abby, que além de tudo levou a Ellie ao seu leito de morte sem o conhecimento dela, então não se pode culpar o Joel por ser reciprocamente egoísta, e por fim temos o fato da Ellie não concluir sua vingança por motivos que sinceramente até agora não consegui entender. Sobre o relacionamento da Ellie com a Dina prefiro não me aprofundar, mas sempre fui crítico de relacionamentos românticos de qualquer natureza em situações de tensão/urgência, ainda mais sob o ponto de vista casual que encontramos aqui, soa irreal pessoas que passaram por situações extremamente difíceis e danosas a saúde mental agirem como se nada tivesse acontecido, sendo que a situação origem do problema, no caso a infecção, sequer foi resolvida. Uma verdadeira pena que a mídia provavelmente não jogou o jogo ou não encarou a história coma seriedade que deveria, pois definitivamente TLOU2 pode ser considerado um bom jogo.… Expand

    The most beautiful and cinematic game of generation . Strong story and narrative, awesome gameplay. Meticulous attention to the details: the environment, animations, faces of heroes. So far, an extremely decent level - the best PlayStation 4 exclusive.

Making a second part of the first game was not easy and the path they chose was the right one because nobody expected that course of history. As for the criticisms due to the certain role or certain outcome of such a character seem to me that there is a lack of arguments as it is part of the story and the loss of such a character plays a fundamental role, without it there would be no story. The game leaves a message of one of the best possible way. The game mechanics are much better than the previous one and graphically there is no comparison. In conclusion: I thought this game was a work of art, and it doesn’t deserve all the hate it’s getting from the community, and I want to see what they would have done to continue the story… Expand

    Oyun güzel lakin... Benim için ne 95 puanlık, ne 3.4lük oyun ama hikayesi olmamış... İlk oyunu tek oturuşta bitirdim ama bu oyun olmamış TLOU P1 bizi hikayeden almıştı Ellie ilişkimiz falandı ama bu oyun kötü olmuş.

    The best game I’ve played ever, I understand the other critics for the history but I can’t criticize Naughty Dog for this because they took risks in this and made things nobody would dare in videogames industry. Great graphics, great sound and great history that will open new doors in future games. It’s a must play.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Not much to say as I give up with Naughty Dogg. There are so many plot holes it just doesn't make sense. I'll name two; Joel goes from not trusting anyone in LOU1 to open arms and trusting a random girl named Abby to go visit her friends... yeah right. Another is that in the first game, Joel killed nearly every firefly in that hospital, somehow the leftover few soldiers just knew the man that killed everyone was Joel and told everyone? Cut me some slack.

    The story could've been way better if they went with something like Abby's group took over Joel's safe area, killed nearly everyone but Joel, his brother and Ellie. Joel's brothers wife or whatever got killed and that's the revenge to take back what is yours and seek revenge for killing all your friends... Something like TWD, Negan vs Rick's team.    … Expand
