    It's hard to give this game anything above 0. Sure, the graphics, sounds, animation are very good, but that stuff shouldn't count as 'pros'. That's the stuff that's expected from a game that took 7 yrs to make in this generation. You should judge this game on its gameplay and story. Gameplay is fine. But if you buy this game for the gameplay, there's tons of games that are way more funIt's hard to give this game anything above 0. Sure, the graphics, sounds, animation are very good, but that stuff shouldn't count as 'pros'. That's the stuff that's expected from a game that took 7 yrs to make in this generation. A game made terrible human beings, not to mention slave labor harvested. Leaks 100% true.

    I got so depressed after watching the scene where Joel get murdered by the equivalent of a **** goomba I had to stop playing for 3 hrs. It's SO BAD. It's not even on the same level as TLOU storywise. It's not so much the fact he died, it's HOW AND WHY. Senseless. What a waste of a character.

    Both RDR games showed us how to properly kill off a main protagonist, and those deaths are poignant, meaningful, and actually done WELL. This was disrespectful to Joel's character and the fans as far as I'm concerned.

    I can understand killing off your protagonist if it's done in service of the story, but I can't condone this in the manner in which it happened was just plain distasteful. This was clearly done on purpose for shock value to hurt the fans, nothing more. There's nothing deep or profound about **** like this. Do they think this portrayal makes women, gays or any of the people they're trying to pander to look good? Size of the ocean, depth of a puddle.

    This game is pure hatred towards fans who enjoyed TLOU. It feels VERY personal and I'm disgusted with ND atm. WHAT IS THIS? WHO IS THIS FOR?! I HATE this game. This is just a bunch of toxic hate mongering bull**** by so-called "oppressed" social justice weirdos.

    TLOU was so sacred, so special. I'll just have to ignore it and pretend this ****ty sequel doesn't exist since the original was a perfect self-contained story. As a FORMER ND fan for over a decade, I feel betrayed.    … Expand

Gameplay is smooth, i really dont mind it. But killing off one of the main characters is just a downfall to everything. I hated how I played as Abby who killed one if the main protagonist in apart of the game. I wished the plot to the story would change, but it’s already out and finalized. Probably just going to finish the game since it’s already bought, and sell it after finishing it.… Expand

    Game is visually spectacular but that's where it ends unfortunately. The story is bad, the writing is atrocious (bigot sandwiches anyone?), the characters are lame and the game is a massive boring chore to playthrough. This game is so bad it makes ME: Andromeda look like a masterpiece.

The story beats are anticlimactic at best and never made me want to carry on playing the game. It feels as though the story is trying to push complex themes that never mean anything. The entire game is based around revenge but the game fumbles and drops the ball repeatedly when it comes to this idea. It looks worse when you consider both God of War and RDR2 dealt with the same themes in a much better way than the last of us 2 did. This game is also totally hopeless and bleak, as if it were trying too hard to take itself seriously, I found myself laughing at some of the choices these characters made. This time Naughty Dog dwells even deeper in human nature, proving us that the worst danger in a post-apocalyptic world are humans themselves. Actions have consequences, and when facing with incredible scenarios, humans are capable of anything. Unlike its predecessor, the tone is so much darker, which is a pro and a cons at the same time. Some people might find the passing or the script to be too thick to their taste and that's a valid complain. For others, like me, it shows a different side of the characters.     What an exceptional game. I loved the first one and this one just surpasses it. I’m so happy to see different characters compared to the cookie cutter ones we ALWAYS see.     Falar de The Last of Us 2 é algo complicado, pois ele é um prato cheio de spoilers. Se eu tentar falar sobre qualquer personagem ou acontecimento, posso estragar uma das muitas surpresas que a Naughty Dog preparou. Portanto irei falar o mínimo do mínimo.

    Se eu fosse avaliar individualmente a história de cada personagem ela seria apenas muito boa. Mas não teria me feito chorar no fim das 25/26 horas de minha jogatina. Algo que brilha com muita força em The Last of Us 2 são os muitos pequenos momentos em que você encontra os personagens em pontos específicos.

    Um grande destaque vai para a Inteligência Artificial (IA). Diversas vezes os inimigos irão te cercar e flanquear. Ou seja, não existe uma situação em que fique tranquilo, sempre que encontrar um novo inimigo, ficará muito tenso. Ao atingir um inimigo, contanto que não seja de forma furtiva, eles tentarão chamar um aliado, afinal eles são companheiros de guerra. Muitos te xingarão por ter matado um amigo e irão a sua caça. E claro, se tiver cachorros disponíveis, eles irão te farejar até te achar.

    Quando se fala em um jogo exclusivo, algo que muitos já esperam é um gráfico fenomenal. No caso do PS4 e especificamente em um jogo da Naughty Dog, como é o caso de The Last of Us 2, isso é uma certeza. E logicamente eles não decepcionaram.

    The Last of Us 2 pega todas as mecânicas apresentadas no primeiro jogo e retornam com elas agora devidamente melhoradas. Como uma explicação básica, ele se comporta como um jogo em terceira pessoa onde é possível atirar, correr, pegar o inimigo furtivamente, jogar molotov e plantar armadilhas. Mas vamos as novidades.

    The Last of Us 2 é uma experiência épica e poética. Aqui temos uma jornada fenomenal que irá muitas vezes lhe dar “um soco no estômago” com inúmeros acontecimentos. A Naughty Dog conseguiu se superar com essa nova aventura e além de evoluir tudo o que vimos no primeiro jogo nos traz inúmeras discussões e mostra como todas nossas ações traz um tipo de consequência.

    Uno de los juegos mas espectaculares que he jugado. Sin duda el mejor juego de la generación de ps4, y uno de los mejores de toda la generación junto con Zelda BOTW.

    What people wanted about this game was the story of two of the most beloved characters in video games, their relation and the steaks they have to endure to survive, together or alone, and just introduce some person to hunt them down and kill them, and even worse, forced the players to play as him.
    I can't imagine how much you payed reviewers to leave a good one.

    Awful game, awful experience.

The gameplay is a bit better than the previous game, but not by much. The story? All I really have to say is... it’s just a weird fetish made by a man who gets his kicks out of muscular and lean women who brutally murder people. I don’t like the route this story has gone, I don’t appreciate how they introduced and took out Joel, I don’t like the way he made EVERY SINGLE female character look horrendous, and I really don’t appreciate playing as Joel’s murderer like we’re supposed to sympathize with her. After Ellie spends the rest of the game hunting and looking for revenge and redemption she comes within inches of killing Abby but decides to let her go. Nothings wrong with the fact Abby is trans, nothing is wrong with the LGBTQ aspects of this game. What is wrong is the lousy and poorly written story, Joel’s deserved to die saving Ellie and Abby should’ve been killed by Ellie. In my opinion The Last of Us never had a sequel and it’s still my favourite game of all time, Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann had a game of the decade winning masterpiece with The Last of Us (2013) but couldn’t keep it up with The Last of Us II. We don’t mind the LGBTQ, we actually embrace it. What we don’t like is our generation defining and masterpiece being kicked into the dirt just to endorse those groups of people even if it doesn’t make sense for the story and/or just destroys it completely, whilst mostly this is a very lacklustre and abomination of what The Last of Us (2013) have us 7 years ago, there are some scenes in the game that are hard hitting and strike us in the emotions just like the last game did. But that will never be enough to redeem it from the kind of torture the second game out its fans through. Please don’t apologise, don’t try and justify your decisions. Just accept the fact you knew what your audience wanted but you still pandered to a minority just to be more inclusive. To the team that developed the game and weren’t allowed to suggest ideas or express any negative feelings to the game during its development in order not to be branded a “phobe” or an “ist” or even yet in to not lose your job.     Complete disapointed with the history, i am not a fan of this serie anymore. A good job from the ND employees that crunch to make this look has its looks, astonishing visuals and sound design, the only good things of this mess.

    I had to create an account on metacritic and leave my rating that's how bad the game was. Waste of your money and over 24 hours of time. The only redeeming part about the game is sound design and a few visually astounding scenes, everything else is complete trash.

Top tier voice actors (not to be confused with top tier voice acting) help drive home the fact a big studio spent a lot of time and money on this. You can say whatever you want about Naughty Dog, Neil Druk, or Sony, but The Last of Us came out almost exactly 7 years ago. This thing wasn't slapped together and rushed out the door. Or was it?

    The bad: Can you read or write bro? There are several moments in this game where a small joke or a line read or even an entire scene is ruined because it was written poorly or delivered wrong. Near the beginning of the game, Ellie makes a small, forced joke about a sandwich. It really could have been a funny scene. it could have worked great! But the way it was written and spoken, it's awkward, and that feeling stays with you for the rest of the game. You'll never forget about the sandwich. 7 years, millions of dollars and 2 established characters can't have a smooth conversation at all. Characters will often make decisions that seem contrary to their convictions (this will be especially noticeable if you just replayed the first game to get ready for this one) and on no less than two occasions there is an outright hole in the plot. There is also a painful amount of pandering that I don't want to waste too much time on, but I want to make it perfectly clear: It's simply too much. They won't let you forget about the sandwich. And the themes and topics themselves aren't the problem. The poorly executed and heavy handed writing is. At one point I felt physically sick because Ellie is 14 in the first game. The time skip doesn't do much for a 31 year old man I see 14 and 19 year old Ellie basically the same.

    The character models deserve some attention, because they used all their big budget body scanning and mocap tools and whatever else they had lying around in what I can only assume is a bunker in silicon valley. Model blueprints are based on real people, and they look awful. There are a lot of interesting tidbits about this in various previews, but the strangest was how they specifically didn't want any female characters to be traditionally attractive. So they would scan a woman, and then digitally reduce her bust and hip size. Why use the scanner at all? So proportions are really jarring, facial features change from scene to scene to the point where in one scene Ellie was crying and i didn't notice.

    There certainly is a real video game under the hood somewhere. there's stealth and guns and hand-to-hand combat and qte and they're all just vehicles to get to the next cut-scene. i would say that's a shame, but no one is here for any of that.

    Using the uncharted formula in a post apocalyptic zombie setting is a money printing machine. This game could have been a slam dunk. However, there were so many bad decisions made creatively that it can only be perceived as disdain for it's audience. Definitely check out how hilariously poorly it is directed, but don't pay money to do it.    … Expand

I understand there was a lack of it before, now we have gone in the complete opposite direction. Im a guy, I cannot relate to female characters, that's just how it is.
