    Never have I ever seen a game with such poor writing. I’m a writer myself, and seeing such awful writing makes me want to gouge my own eyes out. Triple A games are a **** joke, don’t buy into this **** excuse for a game. I can only hope this game is buried in the sands of time, never to be spoken of again.

    Great graphics as usual. Didn't enjoy it at all. I understand there are changes to the storyline in sequels, but this isn't the Last of Us I miss and remember. Anyone want to by my copy?

This is a story about an apotalitic world where rules do not exist, ellie and Joel are two persons in the middle of these and they are exposed to all the dangers as much as other person in this world. I actually played the game and I really didn't like to play with Abby half of the game, less hours with her would be great, but it's good to see other views, life styles and the communities that exist in this world, and I think that is only possible playing with a character completely different. This game is about that world and not just Joel and ellie. Don't hate this game just because it's different to what we expected and give a chance.

Especially pissed me off when Joel dies because Ellie is banging her **** crush. Like are you serious they are forcing some love story in a game that has nothing to with that, it’s Ellie and Joel, there’s one god damn scene of them talking in the game how pathetic is that. I haven’t played more than 2 hours and I already am pissed off at Ellie and naughty dog, maybe if she wasn’t smoking weed and scissoring her gf Joel would still be alive to read this comment.     Listen I'm not here to bash on a series I love so much but more so disappointed in the lack of compelling storytelling that is brought in throughout this game. Without spoiling anything because I believe everyone should either wait for sale or find a local place to rent this game (like I did). My opinion might not mean much but I felt the need to come here and give a legit review unlike the review bombing. There are many plot holes and lack of good taste in their writing when it comes to forcing their consumers to like Abby as a character, I don't hate her character because I enjoy her as a villain but I really don't like her as they try to portray her as the bad/good guy for some odd reason. A lot can be said but If you really wanna understand what's wrong with it I would recommend renting the game at a local family video (If you have one). Apologies for the lack of unity throughout my review it's pretty all over the place kinda like TLOU2. Thank you for read :)… Expand

    Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money. Worst story ever!!! Some results are not unacceptable, but the process of reaching it is too rough!
    In addition, part of the gameplay experience is also very bad. The open world design and some unnecessary stories really affect the game rhythm. I want to sleep several times during the game.

    Thanks for murdering the game I've been waiting for years. I try to pretend this isn't real, since my first encounter with the game 7 years ago was unique, I felt so connected to it and its story. This is just straight up disgusting.

    All for at least between 20 - 25h of game . What more requested?
    For me the worthy successor of TLOU .

Obviusly as other reviews, in the history is kind they kill joel and that can give you a shock, also the history is about revenge which is not that original. But I dont think that is enough to make the game bad. Actually is pretty entetrtaining, no as challenging as the first one, even in survivor difficulty. i hope they introduce a grounded difficulty as the firts one.… Expand

    The story is very good, but if you can't get past THAT moment, you'll never understand it. Many people expected something else and when they got this their brain just went *puff*

    Listen to me, the game is good. I'm giving 10/10 only because i think it's unfair from us to take down a big work that took them 5 years to develop. It's not as good as the first, but i honestly think it's an amazing game, but you can fully enjoy it only if you played the predecessor.

    Btw about the gameplay: yes it's like 7 years ago plus some little new features... yeah, so is that bad? what you expected? a change like GTA from 2D to 3D? Guys, the gameplay of a sequel 99% of the times is the same as the previous game, it's logical. The new characters are good (not everyone is good as the older ones, but to be fair, even in the first one we had 2 elite characters and all the others were just good or average, nothing that good)

    I personally liked this game, no I am not a shill but I give this a 8 because of some of the character choices and certain parts that felt unescerary But overall it was fun and brutal experience.

    Masterpiece. Nothing short of the word. Completed the game last night and have been pondering ever since. This game makes you think about actions and consequences. It's unlike any game I've ever played. Smart story with brilliant character moments. Worthy follow-up to my favorite game ever.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Okay, so as a real HOT take some people might not like: the game is good. TLOU has never been about having a happy ending. Literally the game serves as a vehicle for trauma and grief. Yes, the first one ended with Ellie and Joel together, but at what? The cost of millions of lives. Don’t even get me started about Left Behind. Why the game is good. It is a natural progression of what is likely to happen next in the TLOU universe. Like, is it REALLY probable that Joel would get away with killing a rather large portion of an already minuscule and dwindling population? NO!! Of course someone came after him and like while I was enraged and hate what happened to Joel I was able to step away from my love/attachment to him and think critically about the powerful character development we were being given: - the game is about family and family can either be the found family (Joel and Ellie) or it can be blood (Abby and Jerry) we are given a chance to see the world of the game through different lenses and I think it makes it more dynamic and for the better. - Getting to play as who the fans primarily see as the “bad guys” and see how they view themselves as good and gain an attachment to the characters from the WLVs is kind of eye opening. (Still hate Abby tho nice try naughtydog) - THE GRAPHICS. Like we take a lot of things for granted in this game but literally the fact that it’s like playing an HD movie is insane. 10/10 detail work 10/10 art. - the flashbacks with Joel and Ellie are incredibly heartening and it was a nice addition to have in the game and helped show more of the dynamic growth of Ellie the dorky teen to Ellie as an angry angsty adult. - guitar mini game SLAPS. it’s fun to mess with and is a good break from the stress and anxiety of stealthing it everywhere. - you can pet the dogs - GAY RIGHTS GAY RIGHTS GAY RIGHTS. But genuinely, being able to play as a character who is a lesbian and isn’t a caricature of a lesbian was very rewarding and make me really happy!! The Bad:

    - you have to kill dogs and like? To be real that is super upsetting

    - I hated being FORCED to play as Abby and like I completely understand it was to endear us to her but like I hate her mf guts. Like regardless of how much “oh look she is a good person and has good friends :^)” that is shoved at us. I think if it had been more intermittent, like how we got the younger Ellie flashbacks it would’ve been more bearable instead the second half is just like “you’re Abby and you WILL cope w it” - there was a lot of potential in dina’s character and we got some of it but I would’ve loved to get to know her more outside of the synagogue scene    … Expand

I won't give a higher score for game play, graphics, etc because those are to be expected as a natural part of development for this company. It'd be nothing more than a participation trophy. So my rating is based on the game as a whole. I don't know what happened here but you can feel the tug of war between the characters, world, and story. This amounted to plot holes and an overall feeling of detachment from the game/characters. It broke what I feel is taboo in story telling (though I know it's been done before) of killing a main character. Very sad effort. It also feels like things were being changed at late stages of production. The story here is just really poorly told. Sorry naughty dog but the final game really missed the mark. I won't be considering it part of the TLOU canon.… Expand

    What a horrible direction this franchise took. One of the best story driven games ever, and the sequel actually made the base game worse by continuing a story that should have ended where the original game did.

    This game is so intense!! I can’t stop playing it! It’s Extremely graphic and really makes you experience the violent nature of survival in a world in ruin. It would have been nice if it was open world but im loving this game!! Don’t believe the negative hype! This game is fantastic!

    It's a really great game. While I can understand some of the negative critics here, in that I had several moment where I could not empathize with the main character, I still deeply enjoyed the game. I really liked discovering the same events from different points of view.

    Lo amo. Creo que la industria tiene mucho que aprender de este juego. La calidad gráfica, Sonora, ludonarrativa... y el respeto a la diversidad. Fue increíble sentir tanta representación en un juego. Es increíble ahora dimensionar cuanto hace falta sentirse así. Cómo le agrega profundidad y sentido de pertenencia el ver a alguien que está atravesando lo mismo . En fin, creo que por acá esLo amo. Creo que la industria tiene mucho que aprender de este juego. It's been done so many times and it almost always backfires. But some writers will never learn I guess. Also, tricking the fans by showing a whole different story in the trailers and making them hyped up about it is a real **** move. I feel terrible that I waited 5 years for this game and paid a lot of money for nothing but a huge heartbreak and disappointment. I'm sorry but you will not get a good score from me.… Expand

    Amazing game in all aspects. Maybe it wasnt the story people were expecting but it was a story worth telling. Best game of the generation without a dubt. Only thing that is missing is the multiplayer. Nothing else.

    everything looks amazing but the story feels damn forced, es increíble como se ve, el gameplay es correcto siguiendo el paso del anterior y de cierta manera se siente bien al jugar, pero cuando empiezas a jugar y la historia avanza, no se, todo se siente raro, como una mala película o que solo se necesita un pretexto para que la historia continue mmmm idk

    played the whole thing through expecting it to be bad at some point. didn’t happen obviously. the story is actually really good and makes you think, the characters are well developed and interesting, and the gameplay is improved.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am going to get flamed, but I really enjoyed this game. It's an 8/10 from me. A drop from the 10/10 I'd give the first but it is still a very good game. I didn't mind Joel dying, since the trailer it made it seem like he was dead and Ellie would get revenge. I don't mind how he died either. It makes sense. He became too trusting of others and it led to his downfall. Abby's reasoning for killing him is justified enough. I love Joel but there are 2 sides to each story.

    Which is a theme. It is why you play as Abby. There are 2 sides to every story. The hero and villains of each story can be flipped. It is often the same with war. Everyone is doing what they do for what they think is good, while it is seen as evil from another side. Joel is a hero for saving Ellie, but really he did **** over humanity and killed a lot of people. Abby is a hero to her people but she also kills a lot of people fighting for what they believe in.

    In the end, the moral is Revenge is dumb. You can lose everything, as well as yourself trying to seek it. Abby realized this earlier. Owen and Mel are dead due to Tommy and Ellie seeking revenge for Joel. So, Abby spared Ellie when she could have killed her. She then tries to start a new life with the child and is a much more empathetic person. Trying to turn her life around like Joel did when he met Ellie. With Ellie, she lost Jesse, Dina, and their child seeking revenge. She even lost 2 fingers, hindering her ability to play guitar, something she loved and had a deep connection with Joel to. In the end, she wanders off, having to start new like Abby.

    Revenge is not worth it. What we do in this life can come back and bite us.

    I will say, I give it an 8 because Abby's parts dragged. I feel 1 or 2 missions with her was all that was needed, or just some cutscenes for backstory. A lot felt like it was DLC. I get why they included it, to give Abby backstory and character development, but it just dragged. I also hated having to hurt Ellie. I was almost in tears thinking I would have to kill her.

    I also think so much of this hate **** So many homophobes and transphobes in the reviews. I also feel a lot of people rating off of leaks is dumb. I see so much on twitter and other places, "spoilers", that don't even happen. So many people mad Ellie died when she in fact does not die. Or people saying it was dumb for Ellie to not kill Abby when she was tied up, missing the fact that she got triggered to attack again by the blood on her shirt.

    I have no comment on how the LGBTQ community views how they were represented, as I am not part, but I feel there wasn't anything really offensive? But I am not the right person to say. So I will leave that be.

    The characters made choices COMPLETELY out of character for them strictly to force the new story points they wanted. It’s like they wanted to go back and rewrite the first installment so they twisted things into reality that left everyone with a slack jaw. A lot of people say that naughty dog seems to be pushing an LGBTQ agenda. At first I thought this was nothing but bigots being bigots. In reality they have a point. The first kiss and Elli's relationship had a place and a point. It seemed like it belonged in the story. Maybe even the transgender kid, but the forced sex scene between a transgender and a man made absolutely no sense. Just like a bunch of the plot holes it was just there. No back story, no reason to exist, just shoehorned into the story. The three main characters being two transgender and a lesbian seems a bit out of place as well. It isn’t representative of the makeup of our general population.

    This game left me feeling down, empty and thinking what kind of garbage was that? Not what I want to feel from a GAME. Sure a game can shock (especially story driven ones) but this was just one forced, crap execution of plot and character holes. Save your money and buy it in the dollar bin in a few months where I’m sure it will end up.    … Expand

Guess they cant come up with an actual good story in the time that most studios can. They did so much right in terms of character design in the first game. You played as a smart man who was alive due to the sole reason that he wasnt stupid. So what do they do in this game, that make him into the prize clown. Who the hell just announces who they are to a bunch of strangers. And when he can clearly tell that something is very wrong when he says his name, what does he do? He blindly remarks to them, you guys act like you know who we are? Stupid and lazy story telling. Also, they make you play as the person who killed him. Maybe it would have worked if we played all her back story before she kills joel, that way we can understand her side. But instead she does it right out of the gate and it makes her completely unbearable to play as for the rest of the game… Expand

    Last of us part 2 is a significant improvement on the first game in every aspect technologically. It is the peak of playstation 4 gaming, and we are unlikely to see something so visually impressive before the ps5.
    The story is much more complexed from the first, and is incredibly heartbreaking. The graphics are really good but that was obviously going to be the case since this a triple A title made a developer with plenty of resources, and yet I cannot give any credit for this aspect of the game because of the rather scarce but still present glitches that take you out of the immersion of the game just as fast as the scenery is able to pull you in, which is unacceptable in a game that spent more than 6 years in development and was delayed several times. Audio is also annoying at times, because the audio of characters gets cut off if you position youself in a slightly different way and step away from them. And the pacing also has severe problems, because there are plenty of sections where you have nothing to do, and you're just going from point A to point B, making the game extremely boring at times, which makes you just want to close the game. Others where you have to kill infected that all have their backs turned in your direction with some of them patrolling the area in obvious routes, making the stealth aspect a joke. If you want to have fun you have to go in guns blazing and even then it's more infuriating that anything else because of the lack of control provided by a controller. And except for these two scenarios you can out of a sudden have parts where the pacing of the game cranks up to 11, when you are either chasing someone or having to defend yourself from atackers. However, this being a Playstation title, in which both gameplay and graphics are rarely the focus (because of inherent hardware limitations), the game should have excelled with the story and characters, just like the first game did, and just like with the first game this could have easily not only saved the game, but turn it into an extremely more pleasurable experience, to be remembered for years and years to come. The problem is that these two aspects are the *worst* of the game. The characters from the first game behave nothing like they used to and those kinds of "out of character" situations are actively and fundamentally used to push the narrative forward, making the whole premise of the story utterly ridiculous and detached from the game's "reality". None of the characters have any kind of growth which makes for a pointless experience with predicatble occurrences at times. One of the best parts of the first game was precisely this, going along in the adventure, feeling yourself change, but watching the characters (especially but not only Joel and Ellie) changing as well alongside the player. This is a petty little revenge story (that could have been written by pretty much anyone), with a nihilistic and depressing tone that contrasts wildly with the first game, almost destroying any kind of positive message that it carried. My issue with this game is not that it is a grim experience, or the events that transpired, but the *way* it is portrayed and *how* everything happens. The grim nature of it raises *no* philosophical questions that make you think and that inspire dialogue (much unlike the fisrt game!!). The only thing it succeeds to portray is an overwhelming sense of meaninglessness making you feel empty and never truly fulfilled. The order by which the portions of the game happen feels out of place, with certain things happening way earlier, and others happening so late that you are no longer attached to what's happening, making for a boring experience. The first game is still today my favourite game of all time and now ND, in sevens years has completely butchered the love that I had for this IP. Never again will I go anywhere near a The Last of Us game, except of course for THE Last of Us.… Expand

The gameplay is cleaner than Part 1. I can’t wait for multiplayer. I love both games, but this recent installment makes me love it even more. I want this review to be free of all politics and just be based off a pure story basis, the reason I gave this game a 2/10 is because its everything we didn't want in this game, first you kill off JOEL someone we grew to love over 7 years waiting for old man Joel in this game and maybe dying heroically for Ellie but instead he gets brutally killed off in 30 mins, almost like they wanted just gone and forget about him and look at this cool another person we have named Abby.

    The gameplay I can't trash too much because it didn't change at all from the first game really so yah basic af still nice. Then after a bunch of bland basic convos we have to go get this oh no its block there must be another way around, we finally get some nice justice for Joel just for us to be stopped, to be forced to play Abby, someone, we grew to hate as soon as we saw her kill Joel, but wait you guys will love her just give her a chance, NO WE DONT CARE she just killed the main character all we all wanna do is kill Abby not learn about her backstory which is useless because we killed all these people already nice waste of time. And she is like playing a Walmart version of Kratos with her godly triceps and her haymakers she gives to zombies and then has lily who is a trash version of Atreus. This whole time playing her they try and make you feel guilty for killing her friends and this did the opposite I was so happy when they died in this game besides the dog :( but they also try and teach revenge is bad and the only person that wins in this is Abby she gets to beat the crap out of Ellie and they force us to do it which is bull because I would sometimes just jump off roofs on purpose just to see Abby die, and then at the end of it all we are about to kill her and we let her leave like what I get it in all but there should have been a choice for us at the players. All I ask of is now not to make a Last of us 3 and if you make a DLC for Last of us 2 don't make us play Abby or Anything to do with her because it will do bad I promise you it will.    … Expand

    Feels a bit crap having to write this given how stellar the first chapter of The Last of Us was, but here we are. The Last of Us part 2 is not a 10/10 experience in my books. However, let's start with the positives first. The game is a technical marvel and shines in every aspect in the visual department, framerate is solid and the visuals are varied, vibrant and simply bursting withFeels a bit crap having to write this given how stellar the first chapter of The Last of Us was, but here we are. The Last of Us part 2 is not a 10/10 experience in my books. However, let's start with the positives first. The game is a technical marvel and shines in every aspect in the visual department, framerate is solid and the visuals are varied, vibrant and simply bursting with detail. Gameplay is tense with every enemy feeling like a genuine threat and combat and customisation is deep and engaging. Exploration is deeply encouraged and rewarded in spades making combing every nook and cranny of each new area feel like an effort worth the time to dedicate to it. The voice acting as well, as you would expect, is top notch with the cast bringing their alls to the roles and it truly shows.

    Where the game suffers tremendously, is with the story, writing and pacing. The Last of Us 2 is bogged down by it's cliché and poorly written revenge plot with baffling decisions littered all over the 25 hour campaign, some dreadful dialogue and terrible story structure. The story feels awfully rushed and carries almost no weight in comparison to it's predecessor. The cast of characters this time around are incredibly bland, generic and forgotten the moment they exit the screen or are killed off and all of the emotional tension from the first game we have come to love, is disregarded in favour of this bland storyline about the cycle of revenge and the need to remind you every step of the way that violence is not the solution. It truly feels like a child's interpretation of what violence looks like. Furthermore the depth and charm has been all but stripped away from Ellie and the game as whole, and we're left with an unpleasant, miserable husk that made me half wonder if this was the same lass we travelled across the country with in the first game. The writing does improve noticeable in specific sections of the game, and they are noticeable, but that's spoiler territory I'm not going to dive into.

    Overall, despite enjoying my time with the game and seeing that it excels in the gameplay, visuals and technical departments, it's bland and forgettable cast coupled with a horribly written, poorly structured plot make the Last of Us Part 2 one of the most conflicting titles I have played in a very long time.    … Expand

None of the new characters are interesting so when most of them died i just stared blank staring at my monitor thinking when the **** do we meet someone we give a **** about. Combat is better but the enemy types get really boring to fight against, not alot of new enemies really that make a drastic change to differ from the regualr combat loop gameplay that gets old after the first 7 hours. the enemy A.I. is really bad for 2020 standards of AAA gaming. Ican be taking down someone right infront of another enemy A.I and they just stare sometimes they see you but most of the time they dont. Most of the game as Abby was not very fun at all. They try to shape her as a character and make you sympathize with her but yet again why would i care for someone who killed one of the main characters from the last game. overall the game is lack luster if your the many people who bought the game for a great story and solid gameplay your going to miss it here. do not trust the main stream critics on this one over all the game is bad. gameplay is stuck in the past with a story that is so distant from the first last of us. if you like the gameplay from the first that much you might enjoy this game but from a story stand point its a mess, all over the place with some plot holes and questions that still leave thinking how certain things got some places . overall not worth buying unless in bargin bin… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Like most when I heard about the leaks I was disappointed, but I decided to keep a open mind and purchase the game.Controls take time to get used to, and the pacing is a bit slow at times but the game is well worth playing.
    In my playthrough a question popped in my head-WHAT IS THE PRICE OF VENGEANCE, AND ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY.I’ll start with Abby’s vengeance. In her pursuit of Joel she is faced many times with Owen attempting to build a relationship with Abby, each time Abby turns it down and continues with her “Leads” even though it is clear they still like each other. Eventually this leads to Owen dating Mel and getting her pregnant. Later in a cutscene, Abby and Owen have sex(keep in mind Owen is still with Mel) it was a long time coming. After the affair Owen wants Abby to travel with Mel and him, Owen says he’ll try to make it work, in his love triangle. Mel later reveals to Abby that, she never liked her(probably saw and Abby and Owen close still) Later Abby aids in finding Lev, Owen tried to join Abby, Mel strongly disagrees. Abby knows at this point, that the time for her and Owen has passed. She tells Owen to stay and get his priorities in line, ending any further involvement.
    Abby lost her chance to grow a relationship with the only other person that she cared for. As well as losing her friends. And she also has a change of heart and befriends two seraphites, which leads her to kill her comrades(WLF)

    Ellie’s vengeance leads to her being mentally and visibly shaken by her actions after getting Nora to “talk”. Later she shoots Owen and stabs Mel in the neck, in Owens last moments he informs Ellie that Mel was pregnant. This disturbs Ellie leading to her getting on her knees, breathe heavily, and wrap her arms around her stomach(throw up?pain?) she is snapped out of it by Tommy and is taken back to base, only problem is Ellie left her map, leading Abby to find her. We cut to the future(after Abby beats Ellie and Dina), Ellie is on a farm with Dina and, Dina’s child JJ, just like Dina wanted. Ellie walks around the house with JJ and has a good time, eventually she has to herd the sheep into the barn. While herding you hear winds picking up. Ellie locks the small door that holds sheep, only to find a lamb out. She approaches the lamb resulting in the lamb knocking over a shovel, which triggers Ellie.a flash of Joel’s dying face appears and attempts to get the lamb only for the door to close. You play in a small room with stairs that lead down, she hears Joel calling Ellie for help, Ellie reaches the door but it is locked, she can’t open it and starts yelling. It cuts to reality and Ellie is screaming and the baby is crying(Ellie had JJ in a sling) Dina tried to comfort Ellie. Tommy shows up(you find out he lived) with only one eye and his leg doesn’t work like before(from Abby and Lev) he reveals him and Maria are taking time apart. He came to inform Ellie that a informant saw a muscular woman traveling with a boy with scars in his face. He tried to get Ellie on board. Dina tells Tommy, that they are done with that, Ellie tells Tommy she is sorry. Tommy packs his bag, and tells Ellie,”you said you’d make her pay” angry he leaves and Dina has “parting words” with him. Ellie eventually decides she has to finish it, Dina tries to stop Ellie from leaving, telling her she has a family and that she won’t go through it again. Ellie leaves. Skipping ahead Ellie finds Abby and they fight(real gritty) Elle gains the upper hand, and starts to drown Abby while chilling music plays, the camera pans to Ellie’s face. Bloody and in tears she has a memory of Joel, and decides to let Abby live. She definitely had a revelation, but it’s open to interpretation.

    Ellie returns to the farm to find Dina has left and the house is empty and cold, in contrast to before, it was colorful and warm.     It is a different game with a tragic ending, one that is welcome in a market of happily ever afters and fears of telling a story like it due to backlash(like right now)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Warning spoilers**** The mechanics and beauty of this game is wonderful. After over 21 hours of gameplay, I have to say they did a good job on making the game engaging and fun, However, the story is lackluster at best. Look, I don't care about the morality of the characters. It doesn't matter if you have to see Ellie and Joel as good people or not. We are attached to them, and we literally see Ellie grow up in front of our eyes. How they handled her story and fate was a disgrace. It felt like I was teased for 21 hours and I didn't orgasm. Nothing about the ending was satisfying. Everything that happens to Ellie just complies together to one **** sandwich after the other. the revenge plotline is as old as time. I think the best game that did the revenge killing was the god of war 3. This is about a character who finds and kills his father, and when you kill his father you get to beat the hell out of him however long you want to. Then the game ends, and the main character has a ****ty life, due to his poor choices. the ending for last of us 2, nothing like that. There is no satisfaction, nothing. It's not only just sad, but it felt meaningless. I still hate Abby, no matter how much they try to humanize her. It's like trying to explain the actions of Micha in red dead or the actions of fountain from Bioshock. Like yes, everyone is the hero in their own story. But goddammit Ellie is our hero, Shes the one we are rooting for. she should have died on that beach with Abby. Making her live a bleak life with everyone she loves dead or hating her is just cruel. I'm disappointed in this game.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
