    El juego en gameplay y graficos es perfecto, pero de que sirve todo eso con una historia tan mala 5 años o 6, 7 tubieron tiempo para hacer una buena historia y hacen esto? abby por casualidad encuentra a joel y a tommy, el grupo de abby los espera con las puertas abiertas,dejan viva a elli y a tommy cuando son testigos de el asesinato y muchos mas huecos argumentales, que decir de elEl juego en gameplay y graficos es perfecto, pero de que sirve todo eso con una historia tan mala 5 años o 6, 7 tubieron tiempo para hacer una buena historia y hacen esto? abby por casualidad encuentra a joel y a tommy, el grupo de abby los espera con las puertas abiertas,dejan viva a elli y a tommy cuando son testigos de el asesinato y muchos mas huecos argumentales, que decir de el final,literal todo el juego trata de la venganza de elli y cuando esta a punto de matar a abby la deja por que? incluso dejo a dina con su hijo para vengarse y termina asi? aparte de desperdiciar a tommy,jessy y joel tommy es un saco de boxeo, jessy tiene un momento de gloria pum un balazo en la cabeza y que decir de joel los 5 años que transcurren en el juego antes de todo esto de la venganza y solo se les ocurrio poner recuerdos podrian haber aprovechado mucho mas al personaje y lo matan de una forma en la que no se puede defender una forma de nerfearlo, por que si es que abby no tubiera esta suerte abismal, joel y tommy se podrian a ver defendido y hablando de abby nunca habia visto tal suerte casi muere veces 1 la persiguen los infectados y justo esta joel y tommy que casualmente los buscaba 2 cuando escapan de los serafitas y los lobos le dan un balazo en en estomago a yara y justo cuando el lider la va a matar yara le da tiempo a sacar el arma y matarlo y los lobos deciden dale 60 tiros al cadaver para que abby escape, y para mi lo peor junto con el final es el enfrentamiento entre abby y elli, no se quien fue el tarado por que no tiene otro nombre que se le jugar esta parte con abby, para empezar dina inutil, tommy inutil, jessy muerto encerio? eran 4 contra 2 y abby en menos de 3 minutos dejo tuerto a tommy y mato a jessy y aun despues de eso hay que jugar con abby? abby en lo personal arruino el juego lo mas malo se debe a ella, me siento tan decepcionado mis expectativas eran tan altas y salen con esto que es muy inferior al primer juego,La verdad tlou 2 termino muy mal pero prefiero a que quede asi no quiero que saquen otro juego por presion y lo hagan mal ya la cagaron lo mejor es dejarlo asi lo mas probable es que dentro de un par de meses la gente lo acepte no saquen un dlc para continuar la historia o tapar huecos argumentales de que sirve? en fin espero que salgas para adelante naughty dog siempre te e apoyado pero no se puede defender lo indefendible, bueno vendieron el juego como una aventura con joel, que elli iba a ser la protagonista, no esperaba tal mentiras de ustedes le doy un 0 lo mas provable es que merezca mas pero el hype mato este juego junto con las filtraciones Resumen: Buen gameplay,buenos gráficos mala historia no vale a pena y no merece tener en el titilo the last of us… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'll start this off by saying that when the leaks came out, I thought I would hate this game. As a fan of the first game, though, I feel like I had to experience it myself, even if I DID hate it. I'm glad I decided to do that, because I don't hate the game. That being said, I can't really say that I like it all that much, either.

    The soundtrack is still really good, the graphics are incredible, and the gameplay is objectively better than the first game's, though the camera could be a little wonky sometimes. I swear I never had that problem in the original.

    The story, however... wasn't the greatest. I enjoyed the first half of it, playing as Ellie hunting down Abby, but once I was forced to play as her, everything went downhill. I'm not particularly upset about Joel dying, actually. Abby and her group had a solid motive, and it gives us a reason for the entire rest of the game to happen. Besides, pretty much everyone guessed he would die long before the leaks came out. It wasn't hard to figure out, considering we knew it was a revenge story. What else would Ellie want revenge for?

    Back to Abby, though. They tried way too hard to make you start liking Abby after we already watched her beat Joel to death. The second she killed off the best character in the series, I hated her and her entire group. They try too hard to make the rest of her group likeable, too. Am I supposed to like Manny after he spits on Joel's corpse? I was glad when Tommy blew his face off. It's just unfortunate we as the player couldn't do it ourselves. We all wanted to.

    Am I supposed to like Owen, who cheats on his pregnant girlfriend? Yes, I'm bringing up the sex scene. It felt incredibly forced. Even before then, it was obvious he and Abby had a thing, but he was clearly dating Mel the entire time. The only things I actually enjoyed during the entire time spent playing as Abby, were Lev and the rat king boss fight. Even then, the rat king obviously isn't a character, and it hardly had any effect on the narrative any more than any other clicker or bloater does.

    If they wanted us to care for these characters even a little bit, they should have had us playing as Abby for the first half of the game, not knowing who she is or what her group is doing, but as time goes on we realize she's hunting down Joel. I think a good time to switch over to Ellie would be when Abby finally sees Tommy came after them, and realizes that he's probably not the only one. Then, when we switch to Ellie, it basically starts right where we did after Joel died. Never switch to Abby again after that. But clearly, they didn't go that route.

    Skipping to the end of the game, it was really disappointing that Ellie went all the way across the country THREE TIMES, just to let Abby leave and cross the country a fourth time. I get the point was that revenge is bad and will only continue the cycle, but it would have been better if Ellie killed her, just to realize it didn't make her feel any better. Joel's still gone, and now so is Jesse. Tommy's missing an eye and has a **** up leg. It really only made things worse for everyone, so what really was the point? That's how it should have been handled, I feel.

    Speaking of the ending... am I really supposed to believe Abby could even begin put up a fight after hanging on one of those pillars for who knows how long, on top of clearly being incredibly malnourished for months? I know Ellie was hurt, but she should have mopped the floor with her.

    All in all, it was a painfully okay game. It doesn't hold a candle to the first game. It's unfortunate because the parts of this game that I liked, I REALLY liked, but there was an entire half of the game that sucked and I can't look past that. If you're just in it for the story, you're better off just watching a playthrough on youtube.    … Expand

I mostri/infetti sono uguali ai predecessore se non per qualche rara occasione , cavolo dovrebbe essere la prima cosa da implementare in un gioco survival i mostri , e invece ti ritrovi la stessa identica cosa fino alla noia più mortale . questo gioco e' la stessa minestra riscaldata male del primo capitolo che usci' 10 anni fa'
    Salvataggi automatici ogni metro quadro di gioco che non so cosa servono precisamente, secondo me solo per farti bestemmiare visto che aprendo una porta random ti puoi catapultarti in un'altra zona senza avere più possibilità di tornare nella precedente . La pecca piu grande rimane il gameplay , sei sempre alla ricerca di oggetti , i combattimenti non decollano mai , passi 40 minuti a rovistare nelle case per poi trovarti i soliti 2 mostri o 2 persone da uccidere.
    Sono fans dei survival horror , ma questo tlou2 e' proprio brutto Pessimo acquisto al day one .

Gameplay is good just like the first game's, AI interactions with player is a perfect idea, but that doesn't change AI is stupid like it was in the first game. Story is completely bad, I mean there is few flashback levels of Joel and that's what I liked about story, other than that you get to play as Abby (Antagonist) for understand why did she wanted to kill Joel and show her life, and you can't get your revenge at the end. Poor story and Naughty Dog just killed the this franchise. I'd wish I never bought the game but I did and I regret it. Go play The Last of Us 1 it's much better than this game.… Expand

    This game is one of the biggest disappointments in recent gaming history. Everything that was good in the original story wise has been thrown out the window and now we have to play as some random girl who killed a character we fell in love with in the original in a way that was an insult to us as players. and the gameplay is still the same as the originals but its still not the best.    … Expand

    I have played neither tlou 1 or 2, but I have watched playthroughs on youtube. So I has a tlou fan have nothing to speak on the game besides from the story and characters associated with the game.     El juego está muy bien. intente no ir con las respectivas muy altas para no decepcionarme, de momento en lo que va de juego he reido, he llorado, he sentido tensión, miedo, impotencia y montones de sentimientos más que no imaginé sentir con un juego. Es lamentable las malas críticas por ideales primitivos, es un juego que merece la pena jugar.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they also weaponized those elements to do what the Battlefield team did and say “anyone who doesn’t like the game are just racists and homophobes.” If you were a fan of the first Last of Us this game can and will let you down. Honestly this “game” would have been a million times better if it was a movie. If you can find a way to pirate this game or legally obtain it without giving Naughty Dog a penny I would highly recommend you do so. The way they treat their employees should not be condoned or supported in today’s gaming industry. It’s honestly a shame they went from games like Crash Bandicoot and TLOU1 to this atrocity. I would wait until this game is marked down to $39.99 to buy it.… Expand

    The biggest slap in the face to a playerbase in a while. Especially to such a highly anticipated game. What a total joke. Also, petty politics has ruined so many great things, and while that's not the only reason for this being poor, it was a huge factor. If this isn't enough proof for you to NEVER trust big publisher's opinions and big critics again, then I don't know what would.

    Just eight hours into the game and it's everything I hoped it would be and more. I have the same sense of dread I had with the first. My play time is limited, but like with a good book, I'm trying to get back to it whenever I can.

    This game does not deserve tens, nines or zero-ones. The great idea (in theory) is destroyed by absolute mediocre screenplay with boring characters conversations and their illogical actions.
    You can talk and argue about the ending of the first part for hours, it’s so powerful and contradictory. The second game will be forgotten in a few months. Pathetic.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Everything Naughty Dog built up in the first game was thrown away in the 2nd. Joel dies at the beginning without us even playing as him once. Missed opportunity but I got over it. We play as a character we have no emotional attachment to as well nor care for. The revenge story begins...I can deal with it. We then get what felt like a symbol female empowerment with the lesbian scenes and muscular female character. I can deal with it. We then are reminded of what Tommy is doing for revenge yet never get the opportunity to play as him. Another missed opportunity. Dina announces she's pregnant. How does this affect the story? Why even add this part? Nonetheless, the first half of the game was bearable. The 2nd half of the game is a different story. We are forced to again play as the character we do not care for. There is nothing the developers can do for us to sympathize for Abbie yet they force her story on us anyways. Jessie dies in an instant. Why even have scenes of him if he goes out like that? The least the writers could have done was instead of being fatally shot, have him hurt enough to fall to the ground and tell Ellie to tell Dina that he's sorry he can't be there for Dina since he knew she was pregnant before Abbie finishing him off with a gun to the head. But no, he is taken out with a snap of a finger. Tommy goes out the same way presumably. Again, we are forced to play the character for most of the game we do not care nor are emotionally invested it. After wasted hours playing as her, still do not care. It was during this point I just wanted to stop playing this garbage. She lets Ellie live AGAIN. Fast forward, we find out Tommy is alive. That was literally the only positive about the 2nd half of the game but now he's disabled with a missing eyes and a limp resulting in most likely no future in a potential 3rd game (I don't want one after this mess). Do we really want revenge after this? We were put through being forced to play a character I don't care for and lets Ellie live TWICE already. If the developers just had to FORCE the story, give us the option between choosing Abbie's story and Ellie's and I guarantee you, it would be unanimous that players choose Ellie and only choose Abbie because they're curious, not because they care for her character in any way, shape, or form. Awful game and it's generous I'm giving this game a 3 out of 10.… Expand

Players have the same right to give unfair ratings in response. But also players don't rate based on mechanics, they rate based on emotion. And this game made me feel like ****

    The storytelling in this game was sloppily done- this is besides the fact that it has gay characters. The DLC that first revealed Ellie was lesbian was well received, so claims bad reviews are just from bigots don’t make sense to me.

    Primarily, Joel and Ellie were too internally inconsistent. Many of the characters didn’t feel real. They were given traits that didn’t fit together. Abby is a leader that seems way too reckless (based on her first scene) to have survived this long, no less gotten to a leadership position. Exhibit A, it makes no sense that she would let Ellie go after seeing how much she cared about Joel. They just gave Abby a buff 3D model, and failed to actually write a compelling personality. You shouldn't need giant biceps to show a strong woman. I argue that by not portraying a female character authentically, you do a disservice to that area of the fanbase. As a racial minority, I see deliberate casting of someone just to pander to me as insulting and manipulative. If that person has a botched together garbage backstory, I cant relate to them no matter what.

    Strange character choices feel like a betrayal- like Naughty Dog is spitting in our face, telling us that we didn’t really know who Joel and Ellie were. Joel was not the type of person to give up his name easily, or go down without a fight. The strange underground weed base no-one knew about was cliche and didn't fit that characters setup. Forcing players to kill a dog like they did is ****ed up, and a surefire way to get me to dissociate from the game.

    Players don't play these games for the mechanics, they play for the emotions they feel. Critics rate based on mechanics, AI, etc., but thats not why people played the original game.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is an emotional rollercoaster that unlike other games makes you sympathetic to everyone in the game, including those that are seen as the villian end up being seen in the right and those who you agree with you end up disagreeing.

    TLOU2 is made to make us see that in the world of this game there is no right or wrong, only humans that try to survive and the cruelty of it. Yes this game isn't well recieved due to the death of Joel or the fact that you play as his killer for the second act. Nor when Ellie spares her in the end. But that's the point, it's meant to make you think about whether or not anyone is in the right in this game. When you play through the actions of both characters, sympathise with their own pain and see the horrible actions they commit, in the final battle you don't want them to fight, you've fought as both of them, expeiriencing their pain and witnessing the monstrous actiins they take makes you see them as neither good or bad: just human.

    As for the ending, it's meant to symbolise the act of breaking the cycle of violence, redeeming Ellie's humanity, and moving on from her loss like Abby had done with her fathers death. She had the chance to kill her, but she stopped because if she did kill Abby she would've truly lost everything, including herself. And when she returned back to her farm to try and play the guitar, it shows her how much this battle truly cost her. And when she leaves the guitar behind it symbolises her finally moving on, and her final redemption for what she has done.

    I know this review won't be helpful to most due to fan entitlement to character's and people wanting a better ending to a sequel to a beloved part 1. But ND made the right call in showing the cruelty of a dark apocalyptic world they made. This is one of the most immersive, realistic and possible game of the year titles I've ever had the blessing of playing. The only way to truly know how you feel about this game is to play the first and second games twice over, to understand the meaning of the world Neil Druckman created.

The story was good but boring plus it was way too easy. I played it on survival mode in my first run and it took a little over a day to beat it. In the bright side the graphics were gorgeous, I loved the dodge ability, and the cute Joel and Ellie moments were the best other then that the game is just bad it focused to much in Ellie sexuality, also the ai companion sucked, horrible ending, they also added themes that weren't necessarily just to please a demographic group that is most likely never going to play this game and the only emotional scenes were the death o Joel and Jess. At the end I'm just hoping they add multiplayer otherwise I wasted my money.… Expand

    I will say that it is one of the best games that 2020 will bring and I think that it is very undervalued due to this criticism, I think this game is very advanced in its time with beautiful graphics, well-worked scenarios, sharp sounds and exquisite gameplay, without leaving Behind her story and for which she is criticized, I think Naughty Dog made a **** masterpiece.

    LO MALO DEL JUEGO:

    -Que muy probablemente se haya explotado a trabajadores para realizarlo como en el caso de "Red Dead Redemtion 2" -Tiene varios problemas de guión que se dejan ver.

    -Presenta mal a varios personajes haciéndote difícil empatízar con ellos.

    LO BUENO: -Este juego tiene una gran calidad técnica, con una gran inteligencia artificial, gran calidad gráfica y un gameplay muy tenso y disfrutable

    -Trata bien las relaciones de varios personajes y como estos se comunican en la aventura es algo muy disfrutable ya que si bien no todos los personajes son carismáticos los que lo son, son muy memorables.

    -La duración adecuada como en el primero

    -Tal vez lo mas importante la gran inclusión de herramientas para que personas discapacitadas puedas disfrutar este titulo.

    The original Last of us was Legendary because of the story. This game has good graphics and a similar gameplay as Uncharted 4 so it should be a good game, but the Story ruined the whole experience.
    I loved all ND products so far so I gave a chance, but now I would make a refund if it would possible just to show how deeply disagree with the story.
    Wise character gone dumb as braindead runners.

    so when i checked the reviews with no spoiler and even after i know about the leaks i was open minded to play the again. After the game is released which is 19 june 2020 around 12 am i started playing continously in 22 hours which takes two days this is what i am thinking after i finished the game and fyi i played the first part it was 9/10 for me sometimes the mechanics was grumpy in part 1
    so last of us part 2 i dont know where to begin in 1 hour and 5o minutes my favourite character is dead so found my strength and anger to kill who is responsible is. The character development is 100% garbage why i am saying this hear me out why after joels death ellie who we are playing is hunting abby i was able to play with it i was commited to it but when you play as abby things turn around which is naughty dog trying so hard to make what abby did was right that is my basic conclusion
    why i am saying this because you cannot play hero and villain thats how life works in real life you included in same game maybe a dlc but i dont think my opinion is changing even after that playing abby was like they are trying to prove a point most people would hate it because you are playing as villain here which you guys trying so hard to make what abby did was right there is no character development the only character development i see here is joel but he is dead in the start of the game ellie she is same for me but letting go abby even after everything you did to get to this point. The way i see its waste of time to play the game you letting go the killer who killed your father aka fatherly figure. For me the game ends after joel death other things happening are just collateral damage if she didnt go for revenge jesse will be alive , dina wouldnt leave ellie which she will at the end of the game, tommy would be with his wife. Like i said its collateral damage more people dying whom you know and the people are getting hurt whom you know. So playing as abby she is the real winner because she get what she wants but which cost her friends life which i dont care anyways. The people saying about lgbtq issue but i dont care about it anyways thats not issue for me only thing i liked about the game is graphics, gameplay which it didnt win over me except the stealth part crafting and the other stuff i felt its just the same like part 1. Although, the story is very lacking in terms of how good it is and compared to the first game, this is piss poor. For someone who played the original over 10 times, this just isn't it. (SPOILER) Seeing one of our most beloved characters in a franchise (Joel), be treated in such a way by a very STUPID and UNNEEDED character (Abby) is beyond me. They even went as far as to make Joel and Tommy seem like they have never had experience in an apocalypse, these 2 would never walk into a room with a bunch of strangers, let alone save someone without at least questioning them first. I'm not sure what went through the writers' heads at Naughty Dog, but this just isn't The Last of Us for me. Game play, physics, lighting, and visuals are really the only positive thing about this game. If you're a hardcore Last of Us 1 fan, don't buy this, it will ruin everything you loved about the first game.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
