    pros:

    - the visuals looks great every detail and everything is just wow

    - sound is top notch from the music to the sound of the zombies

    - voice acting is really good

    -the world building and map design is really up there

    cons ( oh boy here we go)

    - the sheer amount of plot holes is just laughable

    - story writing is trash

    - forgettable characters

    - the way they handled some characters is just ridicules

    - AI is still stupid af

    - ending was a piece of hot garbage

    -antagonist is basically useless and gets away with way to much

    - devs basically destroyed everything they built in the previous game

    as you see this game is divided into two parts gameplay and story the gameplay of this game improved so much and props to them but the story just took a deep nose dive and ruined the whole franchise and because the story is the important part because this is a story based game the game just fails miserably    … Expand

    By far the most impressive story telling in a video game. The game pushes the boundaries of having the player understand the consequences of violence in a much more realistic way.

    This game was assassinated by a crack team of hollywood writers. Naughty Dog is about to collect insurance money on a 7 year-old. That's what this game feels like. They just cashed a check on the death of a treasured child, the people working in the writers room should be ashamed. Besides my disgust with the writers the game often feels incomplete vs the 1st game, artifacting, pixelation and broken textures all over. Not to mention the pervasive frame dipping. They tried to do too much with the system, the game is beautiful but if it doesn't run properly how are they releasing it. All these bought shills are another thing critics gave this game a 95, what a joke these critics should suck it up and get real jobs and pay for their games then they might have genuine input. Nauhty Dog did make the rope physics fun so that's why I gave it a one. The gameplay is a clone of the original but that's not a bad thing, I guess overall I just expected a lot more after 7 years.… Expand

    До выхода tlou2 франшиза tlou была удивительной мало где можно было увидеть такую проработку персонажей, отношений и диалогов когда все персонажи не картонные балванчики в игре с очень крутой графикой.

    Buen inicio, mal final, vendieron a Ellie como la protagonista de la portada y solo la usamos la mitad del tiempo y no es como en Halo 2 con el arbitrer, es como en la forma en la que no le gusta a los fans de Ellie y Joel (todo el mundo)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game si actualy a good game, the first part where you play as Ellie is the best, then you have to play with abby and i think this part si too long mabye it should be shorter.
    The real problem of the game is the end, its no sense that Ellie fight with abby without guns and for this decision she loses 2 fingers, the fight is a copy of the final boss of uncharted 4 and the lost legacy where you only have to dodge and press square. I hope the make a DLC that explains what happen next : i want ti now where is dina, where abby goes and where is going Ellie.

Чувствуется как много усилий и труда вложили в этот проект. Заниженную пользовательскую оценку считаю несправедливой, а журналистскую - завышенной. Главным минусом для меня является присутствие и форсирование политических убеждений по поводуИгра очень понравилась. Сюжет показался мне весьма оригинальным и сама подача на высшем уровне. И я совсем не против чтобы было больше однополой любви в медиа, но в этой игре чувствуется как как ради пропаганды жертвуют сюжетными моментами и атмосферой. Поэтому только 8 баллов. Видеоигры это не место для пропаганды и политики. Здесь это хорошо замаскировано и не так нагло, как например, в battlefield 5 и modern warfare, но это есть. Как итог игра стоит своих денег.… Expand

    I have seen the story, and I find it incredible, of course it is not the great wonder, but if the graphics are playable and most importantly its soundtrack that immerses you in the same adventure makes it an exel game

    A pure masterpiece like no other game in history. It’s just worth buying a PlayStation 4 only and only to experience this single game. Experience it as soon as possible cause these kinds of gems come out only once or twice in every decade.

    I think this was the best game I've ever played. The story was stunning and perfectly fit in the universe. The gameplay was as good as the part 1 and the graphics was really breathtaking. I don't understand the hate towards it. You should try this masterpiece

The graphics, story, music/sound etc so far have been on point. Get over it, this is not the first time a significant character has passed in a game/movie/tv show. Understand the context of the game. Also, with regards to the main characters, what is it about them that threatens your manhood? We live in a woke world, for better or worse. You need to adapt. You're in for a rude awakening. This is 2020...

    I have been monitoring reviews. Reviews were posted within hours of the game release. No way someone could beat the game in under an hour unless they did some crazy speed run. People are just mad that a main character passed and the LGBTQ representation in the game.

    For those more level-headed, try the game out, you won't be disappointed. Buy the game, beat it, sell it on a third party site. You lose what 20 bucks for playing the game? I was skeptical buying the game because of all the leaks, but I am so glad I did.

    I don’t understand why the story writer wants to destroy the lovely relationship of father and daughter. I do understand that the story needs Joel’s death, but in this ridiculous way? I was literally annoyed to have to play Abby for so long. Owen and Mel bored me to tears. The graphics were great but it doesn't save the game from a poor rating.
    I know the game is rated mature but some parents still buy it for their kids and have no idea what is in it. The language made me cringe and the agenda naughty Dog was pushing is over the top. I really wish I hadn't bought this game.    … Expand

The one that says that the final is bad, they don’t get the game, Ellie forgive her life because she understand that she act’s like joel did by her with the other boy and she could understand that the feelings that she were having the same when joel kills her father.     Best game I have ever played and a PERFECT sequel to the first Last of Us. From the environment, animation, writing, acting and action, it is a clear example of what happens when pure talent are met with unlimited funding. "Must play" is an understatement.

Es un tanto disruptivo y sale de lo tradicional en cuanto a su historia, lo que pese a ser considerado "forzado" representa realmente la diversidad que existe en nuestra sociedad. Recomiendo este juego ya que representa la puerta a una nueva generación de videojuegos.

    Story: Absolutely disapointing and partially torturing! From the moment I was forced to play Abby I started hating the game. Little did i know that ~ 50% of the game would be like this. And when i had to fight Ellie i died on the inside.

    This game is an epic worthy of Homer! The story seamlessly goes from the most beautiful and heart-melting moments to the most harrowing and horrifying scenes only the environment of The Last of Us can present us with. Expect to scream, cry, laugh, rage, hope and change your thoughts about characters throughout this brilliant tale. Don't blindly sit on the hate train, this game deserves an Oscar!

    Fantastic game. Beautiful crafted and built to tell a story. If you’re expecting a groundbreaking mechanical juggernaut or choices that greatly impact the story then you will be disappointed. The best way to experience TLOU2 is to play the game and see what the writers want to tell you. Let them tell you their story and you will be very pleased with the end result.

I'm a father of 4 daughters so let me be the first to say i shed a tear everytime I think of what my kids will have to go through to succeed in life but the battleground for women's lib is not on my video game I've waited a decade for. Yall take that **** outside. I was unable to relate to ellie anymore, the banter she shared with her surrogate father was heart wrenching it was also nonexistent in the conversations she shared with her girlfriend. Should have double down on what made part 1 so great instead of whatever this was.… Expand

This game does in fact bring out the best in gameplay, visuals, and mechanics for the playstation 4 but to think this would be past on on from ign as a 10/10 is over exaggerating the whole premise of what made and sold the first game was the story. It made you feel something not try to learn it buy going through flashbacks after flashbacks. Its so hard for me to write this cause, this game came out on my 20th birthday and to think I spent may day getting disappointed, after getting so hyped for just holes in a story i had to uncover through ellies PTSD. This game does make some new renovations towards the gaming world by having a diffrent set of charcters but everyone else seemed so worthless. People would die and their isn't anything, no memorial, no lines just walk over and forget .I wish I could get a refund I couldve spent my hard earned money towards something way better than this scrapped up together pieces of ****… Expand

I'm totally fine with Joels death, he has done some bad things and he payed for them. Ellie's vengance mission is 100% understandable but giving the player 10 hours of game play with the character we all despise So much was not a good decision. The game tries to make you bond with Abby by showing her normal life, playing with dogs etc. I don't know why Neil thought it was a good idea. It is very hard to enjoy playing as such an evil character. In my opiniom Abby's story should be a dlc and more time should be spent on Ellies flashbacks and memories with Joel. The end of the game is not satisfying at all. Ellie doesn't get her revenge only because she saw a flashback of Joel siting on a porch. Overall the game is good it's definetly not a game of the year, it's a poor finish to the story of such an amazing characters. It's just not a satisfying ending.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
