    I don't know where to start with why this game is so absolutely awful, but I think it's fair to say that it begins and ends with Druckmann, and Naughty Dog's, goal of pushing a liberal narrative and "sticking it" to the gamers, rather than putting together a cohesive story that followed the established character psyche from the first game.

Basically you are forced to play as the killer of Joel and not only that but in a large portion of the game you even have to fight Ellie...     I really loved the game
    But nevertheless it’s a controversial game and it all boils down to how you can relate to the characters if you do it will be one of the best games you have ever played if not you will probably hate it a lot.

Hi everyone, I am a big fan of the TLOU Pt1 it’s one of the most emotional games I’ve ever played and I was really excited to see the 2nd part, the beginning of it was ok, but after Joel’s death it became too difficult to play it, it’s like you got hit or slap in a face, I felt emptiness and sadness during whole game.... 2nd part ruined all positive and warm feelings about Joel’s and Ellie’s relationship, there are too much misunderstandings from Ellie...it’s horrible...how they could do that to him...after all this years of waiting...what they were thinking about???...what the hell?!?!...I just want to forget this piece of crap!!!

    Terrible company with horrible practices. Game took a dive for the worse - the lead developer basically self inserted himself having sex with another mocap lead character watch this review get removed because it's a "reviewbomb".

    I played Tlou on ps3 and I bought ps4 only for Tlou2. I am not disappointed. I like the story line, amazing dialogues and music, the details are at a very high level, the best gameplay system in the world. I love everything in this game. Just like in the first part I waiting for multiplayer mode, I hope it will be soon.

The main issue with this game is obvious to anybody who's played this, it's Abby, sure I hated her at first, but after understanding her I didn't mind her by the end. And the ending, which most people despised, was very poetic in my opinion, Ellie at that moment realized that she needed to break the cycle that she, Joel, & Abby have been in since the end of the last of us. also the graphics & the gameplay is some of the best i've ever seen ever. So overall, The Last Of Us Part II is not as good as The Last Of Us, but it's honestly kind of close. And I do understand all the criticism the game's been getting lately, but in all honesty, I haven't really changed my mind after hearing.… Expand

    I think the story is realistic enough given the post-apocalyptic setting but why forcing Ellie to forgive Abby after building up the promoted Hate scene by killing hundred of people before reaching Abby? At least give player a choice! Abby doesn't deserve to be spared just because she is an evil person who didn't get moved even a bit by the foe (Joel) who just saved her life. Играется очень бодро, проработанность мира действительно поражает, дизайнеры актеры и аниматоры, мое почтение! Сюжет неодназначен и заставляет задуматься, персанажи действительно живые и им хочется сопереживать тяжело четко для себя решить кто хороший а ктоОтличная графика, васхитительная анимация, гемплей перещел на новый уровень, можно ползать прыгать, укланятся использовать веревку. Играется очень бодро, проработанность мира действительно поражает, дизайнеры актеры и аниматоры, мое почтение! Сюжет неодназначен и заставляет задуматься, персанажи действительно живые и им хочется сопереживать тяжело четко для себя решить кто хороший а кто плохой в этой игре, границы размыты у всех своя мотивация, и каждый сам выбирает для себя героя который ему ближе. Я посмотрел много обзоров данной игры после ее прохождения и могу сказать что с большенством из них я не согласен, так как критикуют вообще все гемплей, проработку персанажей и так далее, но это даже близко не так все эти вещи сделаны на самом высоком уровне. Особо порадовала время загрузки игры после смерти ГГ, оно очень короткое и это очень круто, так как в некоторые игры просто нет желания играть из за долгих загрузок. Игра сделана в плане оптимизации очень и очень качественно, но еще бы эт оведь Naughty Dog… Expand

The only good thing about the game is the flashbacks. The ai is dumb even in hard difficulty. The visuals and set pieces are amazing but the story is so bad that it hurts. Neil Druckmann just spit on Joel, the series and the entire fanbase. The most generic revenge story with out the mc getting revenge in the end lmao. There shouldn't have been a sequel in the first place. Don't waste your money on this.… Expand

    Good graphics, facial expression, combat animations and soundtrack, but all of this doesn’t replace the awful and badly written storyline plus the whole plot of the game. I can’t express how bad the story is compared to the first one. A lot of pushed SJW and LGBTQ.. agenda that’s been forced into our throats. 7 years to make a joke of a game like this.

Generic , similar sayings don't help at that point. Poor dialogs as written by ND. Scenario is classic exemple of how not to do it, they"ve been eaten by ambitons maybye.     After that we've got sweetest possible graphics, abandoned buildings are new main character for me. Cool melee violence, finishers, most realistic blood pools ever ;) Couple of amazing sequences, few minibosses and one resident evil like big one which remains in memory. More open areas slots well onto fresher combat aproach. Loading times and technical part of the game also deserves an aplause. Overall gameplay is immersive.
    Soon i'll start NG+ with moore stealth aproach, im curious, does boredom of walking/talking parts will push me off...
    First game was special... this one is just a good game ;)

That's insane for a singleplayer game. Not only was it packed with content, it wasn't filled with something people are considering un-enjoyable. The issue here is people are reviewing a single character you really wanted to play as and it didn't happen. That doesn't make a game terrible. Is that so hard to understand? This game had everything that makes a game amazing. Good graphics and animations, no bugs, good characters, good story, and good content. Yeah I said good story. It was a good story. I played the game. It wasn't remotely equivalent to what some people are saying: "It's like GOT S8, or Star Wars" no it's not. Not at all. Game of Thrones had a fundamental issue. It developed characters through 8 seasons and threw out all of the character arcs. That didn't happen here. Characters did something bad and there were consequences. It didn't JUMP at us. Not to mention some of them are just plain homophobic. Gameplay is solid with some of the most enthralling sequences in recent memory. Yes, the game does make a questionable decision in terms of story structure, with about 8-10 hours from the perspective of Abby, the main antagonist. It seems like the game wants you to care for her, but I never really did and found myself just wanted to play as Ellie again. Still, her section of the game is filled with some of the more memorable moments. I just wish I could live those with Ellie and not some random character I already hate 2 hours into the game.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part II is a monumental landmark in video game achievement. While many people dismiss the story as not living up to the expectations of the first due to choices made with specific characters, Naughty Dog have constructed a narrative that explores the harshness of the world created in Part I. Every choice has a consequence, a theme which rings true throughout the entirety of the 35+ hour quest.

    The story beats are not predictable, allowing the audience to continually be exposed to the cast of characters and the world they live in, making characters who commit horrendous acts to be deserving of a sympathetic response.

    The gameplay is fantastic, a natural evolution from Naughty dogs previous top tier games. The different enemy types allow for tense encounters and rely on the audience's constant ability to adapt on the fly.

    While the ending and the choices made by Ellie were different to how many audiences may have liked to see her journey unfold, the truth is the ending gives perspective to her actions and the ending stings in the best way possible. As with the first game, the entire game is going to be a conversation starter that will hopefully force people to think outside of their own comfort zone.    … Expand

    This game is total crap. Poor story, which is not interesting at all. Ending is horrible as well. Too much politics for game that should, first of all, entertain. I hope people will make proper decision with their money, not buying this game.

    What to say that hasn't already been said. I stayed away from pre release leaks and avoided spoilers hoping in the context of a full release all my fears would be washed away with Naughty Dog magic. I was so terribly wrong. I literally wanted this game to finish so badly. Don't buy this game.

    Top-of-the-line screen performance. Extremely bad plot: the narrative rhythm is chaotic, the characters are rigid, the behavior logic is contradictory, a lot of deliberately added elements. The game became a dark mess that seemed grand. Narrative this rat's droppings spoiled a whole cauldron of soup.

Literally only bought a PS4 PRO to play "The last of us remastered" and have been waiting forever for "The last of us 2". But i will not be buying it, since the only thing that companies can understand is money, so that is how I will communicate.

    A beautiful and complicated game, with high-stakes combat, incredible graphics, and a very nuanced story to tell. The seamless blend of narrative and gameplay is very well executed, and I must say that this is probably the first time I've spent a hundred dollars on a game, and it actually felt like it was worth the price.
