Nunca senti tantas emoções em um unico jogo. Para todos que trabalharão nesse jogo, tem o meu todo respeito, esse jogo definitivamente mudou minha vida. Queria falar mais dessa obra prima, mas estou tão emocionado que nem tenho mais forças, vou dormir para botar meus pensamentos em ordem. E para finalizar obrigado Naughty Dog e principalmente aos envolvidos. Depois desse jogo, tenho certeza que nunca mais vou achar outro jogo dessa magnitude.     El juego gráficamente se ve muy bien, la jubabilidad está bien, ni buena ni mala, pero la historia me decepcionó mucho, esperé tanto para eso, vaya decepción. La primera y ultima vez que juego TLOU2. Lo podría describir asi: Gráficos: Una maravilla. Historia: Una mierda. Jugabilidad: Buena.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I find it genuinely ridiculous that people are bashing this game as hard as they are; it's truly absurd. The game does not deserve this and Naughty Dog DEFINITELY does not deserve this. The game has visceral, intense gameplay that keeps you on your toes and encourages the use of all the tools in your arsenal. The story is a great extension of the first game's, showing Joel atone for his decision from the end of the previous game and allowing the player insight into how that decision had an impact on others. The graphics, no surprise, are stunning. I played this game for 25 hours and if I had a dime for every time I stopped and said, "Wow that looks pretty" or "Oh, that's so cool," then I would be J.P. Morgan. It's blatantly apparent to me that this is one of ND's most passionate projects, and they have really knocked it out of the park. So, why the hell is everyone up in arms about this? I find it incredibly fishy that tens of thousands of people are trying their hardest to discredit one of the most popular and well-respected game developers ever as soon as they release the sequel to what is arguably one of the greatest games ever created. Many of the reviews I see claim that there are numerous plot-hole, that Joel isn't in the game, and that Druckmann and the team are trying to push some agenda. I will address each of those in order. 1.) As I stated before, I played this game for 25 **** HOURS, and not once did I see a plot thread that wasn't cohesive. I can understand not liking the plot; after all, it is basically just a revenge story, the human race has created countless amount of those in every medium. The thing about it, though, is that this is one of the best revenge stories ever told, especially for the fans of the previous game who spent 13-16 hours growing attached to Joel and Ellie's pseudo-paternal bond. It is emotional at multiple points, somber and calm at others. It is exactly what it needed to be. 2.) This is where the major spoiling starts. If you haven't played the game, I recommend you get off this site before you read anything else and play the goddamn game. Now that that's out of the way, let's discuss Joel's death. Joel, throughout the course of TLOU 1, crosses the country with Ellie, building a bond with her. When it turns out that in order to synthesize a cure, Ellie needs to die, Joel kills the doctor about to perform the surgery, grabs Ellie, and runs. This is the catalyst for the plot in Part 2. Abby, the dreaded Joel Killer, turns out to be the daughter of the doctor who was going to operate on Ellie, Jerry Anderson. Abby is curious at Joel for murdering her father, and clubs him to death with a 9 iron (I'm not a golf aficionado, so I could be wrong on exactly what type of club it is). Many people are **** passed at this for whatever reason. I can only assume that it is because they grew an attachment to Joel (fair, (but I'll address that in a second) or they're chauvinist prices who can't stand to play a female character (I'll address that in the third point).The point is that I believe that Joel's death and the inclusion of Abby are quite well done. The game even goes as far as to make you play as Abby for a period of time, which I wasn't a fan of at first, but I now believe it is essential to the narrative. The thing is that Joel is not a good person, and by the end of the game, Ellie has become somewhat of a monster as well (killing all of Abby's closest friends, including a pregnant woman and Abby's paramour). Just because Ellie watched her father figure die in front of her does not give her the right to cause more pain and suffering, just like Joel did not have the right to doom the human race because he loved Ellie; however, it is all very human. That is the dilemma in The Last of Us: can you find forgiveness in yourself or will you walk down the long road to Hell to get what your heart desires?

    3.) People are claiming that with the inclusion of LGBT characters (Lev, a transgender boy; Ellie and Dina, gay couple), ND are "pushing an agenda." I'm not gonna sit here and discuss civil rights, but there is no reason to be this **** upset over diversity in a VIDEO GAME, especially when it is so tactfully and respectfully done. There is no "shoving it in your face" that some people are claiming. It is there. Is that a **** problem for you? Because it shouldn't be. This entire debacle gives me a headache. Obviously, I loved the game. What more can I say? Thank you if you read this entire thing.    … Expand

    The game, inspite of all the hate that a lot o people are giving it, is a masterpiece.. with a new thematic and story, showing us that desicions have concequences. is a real life history, not just fairytales. Love it.

    A revenge story with a twist. The graphics are beautiful, the controls are a little clunky here and there, and there are some story elements that missed the mark, but overall I would say this is a worthwhile game that kept me on the edge of my seat.

    0 story -100 for destroying one of the greatest games of all time with no regard to the loyal fanbase it had for almost a decade. I have atleast 12 hours of gameplay. Took me two days to be emotionally strong enough to play and    2/10 Rating for the fast paced zombie hunts. Plenty of games on the market with better zombie hunts.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 首先这游戏我预购了实体，看了一眼剧情后，开幕雷击，直接退款了，后面的剧情看别人玩了，整体来讲其实还行，但是叙事做得跟屎一样，艾莉被刻画成一个傻屌，艾比倒是刻画得有血有肉，很多其他角色死得很廉价，像乔尔杰西这些人死得真的太随便了，这个叙事结构我认为如果把艾比的事先放前面然后只讲她想复仇而不讲目标是乔尔，会好很多。讲真作为玩过一代的我，无法接受这样一部不尊重玩家不尊重前作粉丝七年等待的续作。

Then I watch the whole gameplay in some players' live streams. Actually, the whole story isn't too bad but the story telling really sucks while Ellie acts like an idiot and Abby acts like a real person. And many characters' death is so cheap such as Joel and Jessie who died casually. About the narrative structure, I think if you put Abby's memories and story before the story of Ellie without telling players that Abby's revenge target is Joel, it will be much better. Anyway, as a player who had played tlou, I don't think tlou2 is an acceptable sequel while it has no respect for tlou and fans who waited 7 years to play this.    … Expand

    Master piece for a game, but not "THE LAST OF US", i would rate it 9 if it is not named TLOU, if it is another game, but as it named this way, all i can vote is a 0, character personalities are broken, it just does not make any sense, story is fine if it is an independent story, but currently it just a failure as a sequal.

    The game kind of just takes you around in a circle, and forces you to play as and meet characters you really don’t care about. A majority of the game is super boring and repetitive, and the only good part is the stunning visuals and graphics.

    Basically 3/10 only because of how the game looks, the story is hugely flawed and has no satisfaction to it. Huge disappointment.

I beat it once on moderate with about half of everything and 23 hour playtime. I had not watched a single thing about this game besides the one trailer shown 2 or 3 years ago. I'm not homophobic or transphobic or whatever else about this game has people riled up. I beat the first game as well and it still has a place in my heart because of how good it was. I want to start off by saying this: A lot people are mad that Joel died but what makes me angry and upset is the execution of said event, and what it meant in terms of story. It's a story about revenge, but it is taking a backseat to tedious gameplay and boring story points. The gameplay is the same as last of us 1 but even worse because that game came out 7 **** years ago and no improvements or changes have been made, besides adding melee combat as a more viable option. You'll be using your brain only to think about how bad the story is because the gameplay can be simplified to go behind enemy, push button, wait, repeat. Except 3 occasions, where you fight a boss or miniboss. Except two of them are the exact same thing, so there is only one unique boss encounter in the game. Braindead gameplay and a boring looting loop with an option in accessibility that basically loots for you as it pings every god damn resource take center stage as your characters talk about meaningless garbage. The story is bare bones, rarly elaborating on anything until up to 2 to literally 15 hours later. Your not shown any repercussions for your actions until so many hours later you either forgot or it's such an insignificant detail it makes no stupid difference. Like on day 2, you kill this girl who was playing this game, and on day to of abby's timeline, its revealed her name was whitney, and she said one line of dialogue, and you can buy her **** model in the extras screen on the main menu. Its trying to preach to you that revenge is bad, and it only leads to making te situation worse, but nobody **** cares the bastard killed MOTHER**** JOEL. He was one of my favorite video game characters and this game ruined that for me, because he also is a rare one that was in an awful situation and had a mostly happy ending. The best moments in this game are the flashbacks as ellie, especially the one at the museum and the one that happened after dina kissed ellie. Im not one who cries during video games, but when ellie apologizes to Joel and says she wants to be closer with him I was right with Joel tryna hold in my tears. It feels like all the effort in writing went into these flashbacks with Joel, because th writers knew the main person people wanted was Joel. I'm not saying they're didnt deserve the effort, the former hero deserves this treatment, but comparatively, the games average writing is mediocre at best. I'm also going to say it was to lokg and the whole playing as abby section really bugged me. Your playing as the bad guy your also lead to hate, and if you hate the character your playing as, you dont want to play the game. This whole section frustrated me to all hell as it goes on for longer than ellie's section did, if you didnt **** around for to long. I resorted to running by a majority of human and infected by the time I got to abby, and it was still 2 hours longer than my ellie section. I'm not going to say anything more because I could rant for longer if I could, but i want to talk about the endings. It should have stopped at the farmhouse, with ellie refusing Tommy's pleas and having to deal with the trauma as punishment for killing and torturing people. That way, it could have still gone along with the game policy of revenge bad, acceptance good. But no it doesn't and "that's fine I guess because it can be finished right?" I thought. If I get to kill her, then I'd be fine with that ending to. But nope. This is where the choice should have come in. You could kill her or spare her. If you killed her, the prisoners would find Lev, help him back to health, and he would hunt you. If you spared her, the ending that happend would happen, but dina would be home waiting for you to return. But no the game is ass and doesn't do that. I have ranted for long enough have a good day and dont buy this game.… Expand

I have a plat in TLOU part 1 and after 3/4 of the part 2 game-play, I just feel I won't finish it. It has some intense moments but overall the story doesn't make any sense to me. While I didn't have any problems with playing as Abby her storyline didn't convince me (yet). I feel like I'm forced to like her because she is presented as a very kind and animal loving person (lol) yet she is desperately chasing after Joel and killing him with pleasure.… Expand

    Gameplay is nice and a “normal” progression from the previous one, but nothing to hype about compared to other recent AAA games. The upgrades/perks does add some nice customization of the characters, albeit many of them are useless.

    Story and character developments. Love it. And this is where it seems many are struggling with. TLOU is a dark deadly post-apocalyptic environment where being good/bad or making sense are all nuanced to just survive. Not liking a story because your favorite character gets the axe is as childish as kids crying down on the floor until they get what they want. The story flaws well, focuses on the real unjust world of surviving, and builds well to portray the antagonist circumstances, stripping down humans to the instincts of surviving.

    Bottom Line: it might not be the greatest game ever for you as this is highly personal, but this game is for sure an enjoyable and enriching gaming experience. Tilt on Hard or survivor difficulties opens up a very different gameplay. Ignore the 0/10 kids.    … Expand

    Just finished the game and had a blast. Gameplay 6/10 Graphics 10/10 Music 10/10 Acting 10/10 Story 4/10. The game is just as badly written as the first game was. Gameplay problems like friendly AI not moving out of the way still in part 2 and clunky movement at times.

Любовные треугольники, скрытые беременности, ревность и прочий мусор. Мне в эти момены вспоминались слова Элли из первой части, когда она читала дневник девочки в доме. Теперь акцент истории строится на том, что элли считала глупостью в 14 лет? Почему она в 14 ведёт себя более взрослой, чем в 18? Накуриться и потрахаться во время обхода в логове их мёртвого друга? Пожалуйста! Играть и петь посреди локации с заражёнными? Почему бы, блять, и нет? Видимо, дополнение Left behind ничему Элли не научило. Это просто посмешище

    Я даже не знаю, что хуже, если игра сделана чтобы угодить Аните Саркесян и ЛГБТ сообществу или они действительно довольны получившимся результатом и думают, что это хотя бы на одном уровне с первой частью?

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Firstly, this game is great in the diversity, ethnically, gender-based and sexual-orientation regions of the characters - even highlighting strength of pregnant women.
    However, no matter how great the foundations of a character are - poor writing shines through - and the characters are ultimately shallow and rushed.

    What really hurts this game, is how it punishes you for the decisions in the first game - even though everyone loved how the first game ended: it is why it was so successful - the writing agreed with what the player would have felt and wanted.

    It is an insult to the player to play as the person who killed one of the most beloved characters, and expect them to instantly sympathise. The arc to Abby had to the potential to be great, especially as a muscular female character (not commonly done) - yet, it was introduced in the wrong part of the game and it is difficult to want to hear her after her actions 2 hours into the game.

    However, by no means does Abby later in the game show remorse for her actions - which begs the question: why should she be a protagonist?
    It is made clear than Ellie's actions are wrong, she is fuelled by revenge which is harmful only to her and those around her. It is made clear by the writing that the player *should* empathise with both protagonists Ellie and Abby - and during the final fight not want either to win, having developed a strong bond to both. Except, Abby was allowed to kill Joel, but Ellie is not allowed to kill Abby - for no real reason except for a contradicting character arc.
    A more contradicting arc might be Joel's lack of survival skills as he wanders into Abby's trap - but that was overshadowed by the rest of the games poor writing - even if it is the catalyst of the games events.

    TLOU is a story driven game, and if the story is riddled with plot holes, plagued by weak character development and finishes unresolved: then it is a bad game no matter how good the cinematics are.

    The last of us part 2 for me begins and ends with the flashbacks. Unfortunately the story is awful. It introduces 2 new characters with the worst possible way. It rejects the previous protagonists Ellie end Joel and as it seems if there will be a part 3 it will continue with the new ones. Just awful.

    I believe that people who are giving negative marks to the game did not play the same as I did. The game features impeccable art direction, distinctive gameplay, an insane game verticality, a soundtrack that does its job well and a phenomenal and realistic narrative that shows how hard things can be, and that things don't always happen how well we want to be

    Graphically it's an amazing game, some parts look absolutley stunning. Gameplay wise it's ok but i definetley wouldn't have continued playing if it wasn't tlou2. And the Story was an absolute **** The amount of plotarmor and stupid decisions done by characters is beyond me.

    All in all a solid game with some problems with continuity(character personality wise), old fashioned gameplay that is known by the first game, wich was good but barely was worked on(? Also I miss the multiplayer).
    There is also a little bit of meh about the inclussion of open world. It adds and also conflicts this world.


    But a definitly good game.

Clearly the fan base has rejected this game in every way. The professional reviewers must have been paid quite handsomely to give it a the scores it got.

While the gameplay remains fine and the graphics top notch, the unbelievably and at times laughably bad storyline makes The Last of Us Part 2 a game to remember for all the wrong reasons.

    Firstly, the good. The graphics are among the best we’ve seen out of the ps4. A true spectacle from start to finish, the 3D modeling work, animation, voice acting, and production value in general are all fantastic. The gameplay is… fine. If you liked the first game’s gameplay you will like the gameplay here, but likely not very much more if at all. The game barely progresses its gameplay in any meaningful way. The jump button is pathetic. The aiming is stiff. The melee combat is an improvement with the dodge mechanic, but it remains a button smashing contest now with one added button, the dodge button. The dodge mechanic can be readily abused and enemies can regularly be ran past all together. So that’s the good, on to the terrible: the story.

    Every character acts unlike themselves. From Joel to Ellie, the cast you used to love has been abhorrently butchered. Joel and Tommy have been watered down to bumbling idiots and Ellie has become an unlikeable mess. Character motivation goes out the window as the writers of this game seem to think everybody playing are complete idiots.

    Violence is wrong. Violence is bad. Yes, we get it. We got that in kindergarten. At no point does the game push itself to give the player choice, at no point do the writers ask themselves is this worth throwing away the meaning of the first game. Ellie, a hollow shell of her former self following the early events of the game, no longer provides the regular comedic and energetic flair she provided from the first game. Fine, character development right! Well who's going to provide the levity? Nobody! Life sucks! That's what the writers will say, oh so smugly. Everybody you meet is slated to be awful or be killed. And the writers will revel in the kills that they force you to play. How many dogs are you ready to kill! We made the enemies scream extra-long so you really get that violence is bad. After all, revenge sucks... right?

    No! Says the fanbase! How could you possibly think anybody would want to play as Abby? After the things she does, there is no redemption. The writers seem to have failed to realize that we, the player, have played 20 hours as Joel. We understand him, and we understand the situation. We also understand that this is a sequel, 7 years after the original--Joel was obviously going to end up here. But like this? At the hands of an npc who not even Joel remembers? Right at the beginning of the game? You don’t even get to play as Joel for more than 10 minutes. False advertising could be argued! Be warned reader, you play half the game not as Joel or Ellie! But as somebody who was in none of the promotional material or trailers--somebody who you will come to hate so bitterly within the first moments you meet her. Abby will go down in history as one of gaming’s biggest **** ups.
    The shame is that in a vacuum, the Abby section could have been a good spinoff Last of Us game. I suspect somewhere in the tumultuous 7 yearlong development that this may have been the case. But as it stands, sandwiched between the horrors that are the beginning and end--Abby, like Joel and Ellie, has been ruined.

    The ending will leave players shocked that they wasted so much of their time and hard-earned money. But hey, now we know that revenge is wrong, right? We now know the difference between responsibility, peace, and accountability! We now know what real pain looks like! What it means to be human!

    1/10 on metacritic since there are way too many people who have not played the game giving the game a 10. The real score is a 6/10 or 7/10 for me. Anyone who says 10 is blatantly ignoring not only the flaws in story, but also the mediocre gameplay that has barely progressed from the first game. A 10/10 gameplay experience should really push a genre and set a bar in some respect. Does this game have any stealth ideas that push the genre past where it already was? No. How about the third person shooting? The platforming? The puzzles (the handful that there were)? Nope. If you really enjoyed the gameplay that is fine, but none of it sets any kind of bar. The only bar this game definitively sets is in presentation and acting.    … Expand

    I finished tlou1 and tlou2... how could they kill part 1s main protagonist in the first hour of the game and force abbys gameplay down our throat? It's unforgivable that they did Joel like this. I'm okay with Joel's death but the way he was killed I couldn't understand. Tlou1 Joel was like Rick Grimes of twd never trusting strangers and is the survivalist to the bones. In this game heI finished tlou1 and tlou2... how could they kill part 1s main protagonist in the first hour of the game and force abbys gameplay down our throat? It's unforgivable that they did Joel like this. I'm okay with Joel's death but the way he was killed I couldn't understand. After she bites off Ellies fingers, and bashed the characters we loved from the first one.. why are we not satisfied with the ending? Because you are forced to watch the pig roam free after all the **** she did. And using her to fight Ellie was painful. Tbh I enjoyed having ellie killing her over and over. I was never interesting a lot in characters so the death of Joel was a surprise for me in a good way. This game for me is a Gay Gears of War! Well They are similiar in many ways and they are also a signature titles for each console. As A gay gow game for me is doing great! Great gameplay amazing fights and lesbian kisses!!! Well it sounds like a sex and the city zobie game, but is this so bad? I have not finished the game yet but Dina is already pregnant and what will happen next?     Visually, the game looks amazing. The gameplay is relatively similar to the first game. However, due to the story that does not make sense and is filled with tons of plot-holes, it makes this game one of the worst sequel to a video game. If you are a fan of this game for its characters, trust me dont buy it. You will regret it for sure 100%.

    I am a huge Naughty Dog fan but I am extremely disappointed with this game. They seem to have to taken themselves too seriously with this one. The story has no rhythm. They completely lost the pulse on what made the first game so great. Visuals are stunning, gameplay is improved from the first one but the story is complete garbage. Os personagens são comoventes, você se identifica com eles, você sofre quando eles sofrem, e sente desprezo por outros quando necessário. A atuação é impecável, você se sente tão imerso no universo que você acaba esquecendo que está jogando um jogo. A trilha sonora é indescritível, não há palavras que se apliquem à ela e aos gráficos, que são sem sombra de dúvidas, os melhores gráficos da atualidade. O jogo é simplesmente perfeito.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
