Im soo UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED. waited before i write this review to finish the game with hopes that it could redeam itself with such a memorable ending. But everything in this game was a disappointment from SPOILER ALERT you know who's death and the stupid LGBT bs that they kept shoving in my face.
    I dont mind that BUT I wouldve wished they wouldnt have done it the way they did. It seemed they tried to replace JOEL WITH THIS RELATION WITH THAT STUPID GIRL (which i never gave a **** about in the first place).
    There was the time they made a teaser and showing Joel and ellie and EVERYONE WAS HAPPPY TO SEE THEM but then you decide to kill him in like 2 hours ? such a meaningless death by a meaningless charactor well played ruining his legacy in our hearts. I DONT MIND JOEL DIEING but maybe make it more heroic like ellie gets captured in order to BAIT JOEL. Joel goes in to save here and be a bad ass just one more time and during the rescue he gets shot and bleeds out till death SOMETHING LIKE THAT WOULD'VE BEEN SO COOL... JOEL DIEING TO SAVE HER, The idea of saving Ellie one last time would've been mind blowingly amazing. I thought of this in 2 minutes and you couldn't have made it any better in 7 **** YEARS.     "The Last of Us Part II" is the most recent and important proof of what happens when the developers are most concerned about "subvert expectations" than telling a good story. If this game wasn't named "The Last of Us" no one would be defending this poor excuse of a plot.

    If the critics are allowed (and of course paid) to exaggerate the good aspects of the game to give it a 10/10. The fans are allowed to exaggerate the bad aspects of it to give it a 0/10.

    This game and apparently the Naugthy Dog of these days, represent everything that is wrong with the industry and its just sad. But hey, my expectations where indeed subverted since I thought it would be a good sequel and story and resulted being trash.    … Expand

    Preferia ter visto a história pelo youtube do que ter gasto quase 300 reais na pré venda!

    Os gráficos são belíssimos, o game design é estonteante e a iluminação é de encher os.olhos... mas a história e o desenvolvimento de personagens são superficiais demais! Quê decepção!

The story is mind numbingly boring and exhausting, I’d argue that the gameplay has gotten worse somehow, and the graphics look about the same as tlou1 (not the remastered version). If you told me 2 years ago that this was tlou2, I’d call you an absoluteDamn those leaks weren’t kidding, but even then holy **** this is God awful.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Despite all the review bombing (on both sides, positive and negative), I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and give my honest review. I try to keep it vague, but I couldn't keep it 100% spoiler-free.

    If you think this game deserves anything close to a 9 or 10, but have not yet beaten it, you really need to do that first. The first half of the game is incredible, but it takes a nosedive after Seattle Day 3. You'll know exactly what I mean when/if you get there. If you have gone through it all and still think it's a masterpiece, then that's great. Congrats on having your perfect sequel, and for being part of the 3% of players that have the "completed the game" trophy. Anyway, onto my review.

    Throughout the first half of the game, Ellie is hunting certain named NPCs. You either find them dead or kill them yourself, all in pursuit of a High Value Target. There are some incredible parts here. For example, Seattle Day 1 has an incredible free-roam section, and there are flashbacks to Joel and Ellie that really make you see where the 10/10s come from.

    The second half, though, tries to humanize those already-dead named NPCs via an obscene amount of flashbacks. It tries to make you feel bad that they're now dead, whether it was by your hands or not. This falls flat, though, because not only are they 6 hours too late to try to get you to feel for these people, but the reasons you're hunting them in the first place are very good ones, that most players will agree with.

    In the end, the High Value Target gets to walk away, because the game assumes by now that you feel bad for doing what you did. It doesn't matter that you were *forced* to do it by the game, it's your fault.

    If this was any other game, it'd be maybe a 7 or 8, but it's The Last of Us Part II. They completely **** over beloved characters to make this mediocre plot with a cliche message happen.

    The gameplay is fun, the character-on-character dialogue is great, the graphics look great, the RPG mechanics are well-fleshed-out, but the overall plot is so unforgivably bad to me that it kills the whole game, because the reason I consider The Last of Us to be one of the best games of all time is due to it's plot.    … Expand

    Pros:
    Nice graphics, when it's not bugging out
    Nice animations, when they are finishing properly and not clipping
    Nice sound design

    Cons:
    Graphics is buggy - frequent shimmering of reflections, visible LODs, sometimes textures do not load in hires for minutes, occasional props made from literally 3 polygons, breaks immersion all the time
    Animations can be very unnaturaly canceled when transitioning to one another, models sometime cant let go of objects from previous animations
    Gameplay is still same from tlou, NPC is still dumb, you can deal with every encounter by sitting in one corner and "stockpiling" bodies cuz dumb enemies just go straight to their dead allies without flanking or waiting for help, all my death was to scuffed controls (like looting box instead of grabbing enemy)
    Worst part is the story, its full with bad character development, awkward phrasing, plot holes and out-of-character moves - Dina moves from "first kiss" to sex and " i will go on a suicide mission with u" in ~48h? Joel risks his and brother lives to save some stranger? Tommy forces Elly to go on a suicide revenge trip twice? Secnod time in very rude manner & while Elly has family? Etc. Some small things, like Elly never mentions death of hers horse, which was wtih her for at least 4 years? List goes on ...

    Ending is garbage - "right/good" act cant be truly appreciated without freedom of choice, wich developers could done with ease, not to mention that this sudden change feels strange and out of place

    This game is probably 4/10, but i give it a 0 to compensate for 1010 fanboys and out of contempt to misleading marketing wtih Joel in every trailer and "CINEMATIC COMBAT WITH SMART OPPONENTS".

    Better stay away from this game if u value your money and time, good games dont get review-bombing.    … Expand

    Guión decepciona en casi todo, desencantado y defraudado con el final. El juego obliga a ver las cosas con cierta carga política (No tiene que ver en absoluto con la orientación amorosa o sexual de Ellie) y obliga a perdonar, sentir o manejar a personajes imposibles de empatizar, lo bueno que no hay juegos parecidos que trasmitan esta sensación de odio sin sentido, tambien los gráficos, laGuión decepciona en casi todo, desencantado y defraudado con el final.     You know..video game reviews are where perfect justice is served...those who don't like it...don't have a good time..and those who do...have a great time. I am having the time of my life with this game. Having played the last..I'd say this continues on the great path of a game that is extremely hard to follow up. This is one of those games that I try not to binge too hard in fear that the adventure might be over too soon. I feel the suspense all the while walking through. I love hitting a patch of clickers that I gotta take down. The game is just so beautiful it makes every moment playing a gem. I just can't give it high enough marks. Not to mention the quality of the execution...this game shines all the frigging time..almost never is there a time that I don't want to zoom in on something in the environment. So...if you can put your favorite controversy on hold...enjoy this seriously outstanding example of interactive gaming. Been playing since Atari 2600 Pitfall. I'm a gamer..not a political tool.     Abiertamente puedo considerarme un fan de la primera entrega debido a que adquirí en su momento la versión de ps3 con the last of us y no solo eso también adquirí el ejemplar remasterizado para ps4, una maravilla para ser sincero pero esto no lo absuelve de cualquier otra critica positiva que esperábamos que las minúsculas carencias del primero sería solventadas en este segunda entrega,Abiertamente puedo considerarme un fan de la primera entrega debido a que adquirí en su momento la versión de ps3 con the last of us y no solo eso también adquirí el ejemplar remasterizado para ps4, una maravilla para ser sincero pero esto no lo absuelve de cualquier otra critica positiva que esperábamos que las minúsculas carencias del primero sería solventadas en este segunda entrega, pero oh sorpresa con lo que nos encontramos es con una narrativa totalmente carente de sentido alguno empezando con el primero error garrafal de haberse desecho de un personaje que se tomó un excelente trabajo construirlo en la primera entrega como lo fue Joel el cuál nos había transmitido una empatía innata con respecto a su decisión de salvar a Ellie debido a que a lo largo de su vida a partir del brote del hongo que volcó al mundo en caos padeció perdidas muy importantes y en este momento en el que pesaba sobre sus hombros la decisión de que vuelva a pasar por esta situación decide salvar a Ellie como un mensaje de que no se puede salvar la humanidad perdiendo la propia humanidad y que el mismo joel que en una secuencia del primer juego es precavido debido a las condiciones hostiles que los rodean donde pueden ser sujetos de ataques por la supervivencia este mismo Joel sea burlado y humillado de la manera en la que lo hace este juego simplemente demuestra que antes de entregarnos una buena historia estaban priorizando enfatizar cierto mensaje muy forzado casi agobiante a lo largo del juego y que justifiquen todo tipo de criticas con el argumento que somos personas con mensajes de ¨odio¨solo demuestra la carencia de vergüenza para/con los usuarios que somos el público a el cual está dirigido su producto, en todo sentido debieron haber priorizado al usuario antes que satisfacer cualquier tipo de agenda política y que pese a este error abismal de narrativa al final de toda la historia, después de a lo largo del trayecto de la misma en el cuál hemos perpetuado asesinatos de diversos tipos, de las maneras más atroces me quieres impartir un mensaje que todo lo que acabo de hacer dentro de este juego fue en vano? Dejando ir a la causante de la ira de la protagonista...... ira por la cual asesinó a todo quien se le cruce en su camino de venganza. Aquí único que no tiene sentido alguno definitivamente es la existencia de este juego, no descarto que el apartado gráfico sea muy increíble y que la jugabilidad me guste tanto y me traiga un efecto nostalgia del primero, pero lo que hicieron con la saga de The last of us en esta entrega es simplemente decepcionante.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part 2 is easily my favorite game I have ever played. The gameplay was intuitive and evolved to what ever strengths you wish to go with, the story was incredibly emotional and moving. Old characters and new manage to all make an impression that I will not soon forget. It will take a lot for another game to top this one.

    The game looks stunning! Voice acting is great! These are the only positive things i can say.

    This game (technically) isn't a zero... BUT.. it really is. I didn't want to continue playing after the first two hours. I stopped playing the game and will not be playing it ever again.     The graphics are good, it runs pretty well on base PS4 and the gameplay is solid, so why is my rating so low? It forces you to play as an unlikable character midgame, and damn, the story is such an incredible downgrade from the first game. If you like unlikable characters and unskippable awkward sex scenes, then this game is for you.

Es horrible cuando tratan de innovar o dicho de otro modo renovar una historia que ya funcionaba, en primera la calidad gráfica es buena a la altura de red dead redemption, pero en lo demás flaquea, la forma de crafteo es básica y algo sosa, casi resulta que está para evitar el uso de un inventario y así lograr sacar horas al Gameplay, por el lado de la jugabilidad es un copia y pega de los juegos que ya existen, AC, muy parecido al red dead redemption, aunque lo peor es el trato que le hicieron a la anterior entrega, desdeñar a los personajes principales y entregar una moraleja final que no cuadra con la situación, en primera giros argumentales hechos para calzar la historia a fuerzas (la actitud de los personajes no debería permitir tales decisiones), asesinar al Real héroe de la manera más simplona. Más allá la matanza sin sentido de personas por puro gore morboso, el he hecho de que mueran animales y la enseñanza final sea la venganza no es buena dejando a la villana viva cuando es la causa sobre la que se sostiene el juego, ese es un error brutal. Sumando el hecho de obligarte a jugar con tal personaje nefasto, por su guión, como por su motivación, en conclusión este juego queda como algo que quiso ser pero no pudo, se les atragantó tantas ideas que no quedaron bien ejecutadas y el mal sabor de boca del final no por la historia sino por obligar a la historia ir en ese camino. Si hubieran llevado la historia como la primera parte seguro merecía el Diez, al contrario parece un juego ambientado en el mismo escenario, sin pasado, con los skin de personajes y el nombre de la anterior entrega.… Expand

El hecho de dar un fondo más allá de el como se siente Ellie por la muerte de Joel con la vista de Abby y sus motivos para matarlo y buscando el trasfondo de el meollo es el por que este juego se me hizo magnífico, el como te hace sentir incomodidad no solo visualmente si no jugabilisticamente cuando casi llegando a el final tienes que usar a Abby para pelear con Ellie, algo que claramente no quieres hacer pero el juego te obliga a hacerlo, es de lo mejor, amo como te manejan a ti como jugador y espectador, te hacen replantear pensamientos y de más, es una joya entera… Expand

    Mediocre game. The graphics are good, but nothing to really boast about. Gameplay is pretty much the same as the first game. Music is good for the most part and sound design is great. Story is pretty bad. Druckmann is a hack. Bring back Amy.

    Incredibly well written y directed. It lives up to the first one. It surely live you with a bitter taste, but keeping an open mind will help you embrace the story. Great gameplay length, awesome graphics, fantastic actors, and one hell of an emotional rollercoaster.
