    This game is a slap in the face to everyone that loved the first game. Do not buy this and save your money. The truth and context of this game is much worse than the leaks. The gameplay is very average in today's modern gaming generation. There are minor improvements from the first game and enemy AI is dumb as ever. There are more cut scenes and walking than actual gameplay.

    Gráficos: Aquí es donde no hay dudas que a estos señores no hay estudio que se pueda poner a su altura tienen un nivel en genral muy alto y sobre todo en la segunda parte que todos sabemos que han escondido muy bien los señores (por llamarlos de alguna manera) de ND.
    Sonido: Cumplen sin más no hay ninguna melodía que se grabe a fuego como en el 1.
    Jugabilidad: Un control exquisito al nivel del "MGSV" con todo tipo de movimientos y muchas maneras de llevar a cabo la aventura.Aquí como contra diría que hay mucha parte del juego que parecemos buscadores de cajones sin que pase nada y se hace muy aburrido.
    Historia/Narrativa: Aquí sin duda el apartado donde se han estrellado contra un muro y no hay quien arregle el desastre lleno de incongruencias por todos lados una historia que no tiene sentido y la que te quieren hacer mostrar está muy mal ejecutada, personajes que no tienen alma, situaciones muy forzadas, escenas que sobran, historia alargada artificalmente, engaños publicitarios que en el juego no salen y los han cambiado y podríamos seguir no se entiende como en el 1 ND sobre salió con este juego por este apartado que fue lo que lo hizo único y en este lo ha echado todo por el retrete se lo tienen que hacer mirar y mucho.

First the attention to details in this game is phenomenal, the gameplay feels satisfying ,and the graphics one of the best out there, However all I mentioned was present in the first game ,sure it has improved a lot , but that's technology , we shouldn't judge the game by these aspects but by the story,, The idea is smart ,the execution was horrible , the game is based around characters doing stupid decisions ,2 or 3 bad decisions we might understand but the game is filled with them , the characters are nothing like the ones we've seen in the first game , they lost everything defining them and that is annoying abby is not likeable at all ,,the game failed at making me build any sympathy for her , abby and ellie are both unlikable in this game and this is coming from a fan of the first game , the only one I liked was Joel he did bad stuff but reddemed himself and he was portrayed as this evil monster At the end I felt no progress whatsoever , the abby hours felt boring and annoying and added nothing to the story , the game is all about killing people we spend hours murdering people in cold blood that had nothing to do with abby and were only protecting their land ,, and when one of abby's friends die ellie feels bad for it , it's weird and forced , the only good parts were Joel and ellie's flashbacks , they took everything that made the first game brilliant and just destroyed it Revenge is bad for ellie and good for abby huh ,what a Joke ,,,,,To quote Joel's words "SEE THERE WAS A SEQUEL , ,,WASN'T AS GOOD .… Expand

    At this point I will not give Naughty Dog any money. The game gets 1 for graphics, physics, and art style. I can't deny that the visuals are astounding until you look at Abby. Nobody asked for Abby, nobody wanted Abby, yet the Ma'am was shoved down our throats regardless. Unless the Online comes out with great potential I will not spend a penny.

    After years of waiting for this game. I am disappointed it was the worst game i had ever played in a long time. The graphics amazing game play amazing story garbage. They kill of one of the best characters in a video game in the dumbest way possible. They kill Joel off in 2 hours and after that they make you play as 10 hours as his killer try to make you sympathize with her but fail. AtAfter years of waiting for this game. When a game makes as much effort as possible to remove the player’s ability to formulate opinions and make choices throughout the playthrough, the game is not engaging and intriguing to the player, it is annoying and dismissive. By force feeding us, you are treating us as if we are incapable of dissecting and interpreting the game ourselves, which is infuriating, and to that end it becomes easy to see that the game solely exists to sell us something (N**l **ckmann’s agenda). The narrative is messy. The game is burdened by uninteresting new characters. Almost every character in the game feels like an inhuman caricature of what a person is supposed to be like. The main characters are so artificial that they can hardly be taken seriously, which discredits the story. The cutscenes are extremely overly gratuitous (both in violence and in sexuality), to the point that it’s offensive. Several sections of the game seem to severely overstay their welcome. The gameplay itself is more varied than that of its predecessor, but this one positive is marred by the fact that the game is simpler and easier than its predecessor, contributing to the fact that the game is flat out boring in some parts. After playing The Last of Us Part II, it’s clear to see that N**l **ckmann hated J**l, and hated the original game, as this game desperately tried to alienate itself from its predecessor, while trying ever so hard to create a new and different identity for itself. Unfortunately, The Last of Us Part II will only be remembered as a loud and ugly failure. I feel sorry for the those who fell in love with The Last of Us in 2013, who waited 7 years only to be so incredibly disappointed and aggressively disrespected. I feel sorry for the developers who had no say in the game’s direction, who knew full well that the game they were working tirelessly on would be received poorly. This game has the worst ending and the most annoying character called Dina which happened to be a pretty important character in the game. I think many of us played this game for hours with the mindset based on the pre release trailer or encounter between Abby and Joel. I couldn't believe how horribly Naughty Dog ended the game. It was just very disappointing to invest so many hours in this game. What was the purpose of this game? Ellie didn't do anything to respond appropriately to the brutality showed by Abby. Ellie instead kept taking beating by Abby. This game has the weakest main character. I think Abby's character was much stronger and meaningful than Ellie's character. Such a disappointment. I have never given 1 star to any games before, but after finishing Ghost of Tsushima I am happy with 1 star rating for this game. I hope Naughty Dog would learn something from Sucker Punch. Last of Us II is the ONLY game that I have ever pre-ordered. One thing is for sure, I will never pre-order any Naughty Dog's game. It's a lesson learned. Given such a terrible Metacritic User Score for this game, I would say majority of the people are disappointed with Naughty Dog. I hope in the future people wait to buy games by Naughty Dog until enough user reviews are in and then buy if the reviews are good.     They ruined the game with bad story and ending. Part1 is the best game in history but part2 story and ending doesn’t even make any sense !!!!!! There is so much wrong about this game for example joel’s death!!! In part1 he ran over someone because he didn’t trust him and didn’t believe he is hurt but in part2 he trusted a girl and his group!!!!???? What!????? Why should we play abby ?!!! What the hell????? Why should we play someone that killed joel????? Why should we play abby and shoot ellie !????? What???? Why should we hurt ellie????? They wanted us to understand abby?!!!! No one cares about abby! Whyyyy should we play someone who killed joel and hurt ellie so bad ???!!! What hell was this game???!!! I think we played abby around 10 hours !!! What??????? We will never hurt ellie and we will hate abby until we die and we wish abby die always . what was this!!!? We love ellie and joel more than anything!!!!! And we care about them more than anything .     After waiting a long time for a sequel, this game was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Part of why I like this game was because of the infected enemies, and in this sequel they barely play any role. It's almost as if these developers hated the developers that made the first one. Do not waste your money and save it for something else.

    I spent 30h to finish the game and earned nothing. 1 point for the marvelous graphic, art design, music, sound effect and level design. And rest points died with the plot written without logic but full of director’s arrogance.

    It seemed like every thing that happened in the game was just to get their agenda across and not for storyline purposes. And the story definitely suffered for it. The graphics were amazing so there's that going for it. If you are looking for a beautiful looking game with not much else then this is the game for you.

Them they give you a horrible revenge plot that ends up falling through anyway. PLUS they make you play as Abby for a whole chunk of the game after his death. This means that players are forced to play a character that they hate for a large portion of the game. It makes the game unbelievably hard to finish playing. Then Ellie’s girlfriend leaves her and on top of that Ellie can no longer play Joel’s song. Terrible game, don’t recommend.… Expand

    I've never been more disappointed in a game ever. I was a huge fan of the original and I think that's why I dislike this sequel so much. If you were a big fan of The Last of Us I strongly recommend to avoid playing part 2. This game will go down in history as the wrong way to make a sequel

    Every sequel has to be compared to its predecessor and this game is no exception. If someone plays it without experiencing the first one then they could be a lot more forgiving about its story and plot , and a lot more impressed about its graphics and gameplay. However, if someone has played through the experience of the original Last of Us , taking part in the journey of the amazingEvery sequel has to be compared to its predecessor and this game is no exception. However, if someone has played through the experience of the original Last of Us , taking part in the journey of the amazing characters of Joel and Ellie and witnessing the bond they develop , then they cannot be as enthusiastic about this game.
    The reason this game SEEMS so divisive is because is is unbelievably good in some aspects and incredible bad in some others. This is obvious considering that EVERYBODY admires and respects the former and EVERYBODY either greatly dislikes or tries to defemd to some degree the latter.
    What everybody loves : It is undeniable that this game looks amazing. The graphics, the sounds, the environment and the interaction with it is astonishing and really sets the golden standard from now on. The gameplay is enhanced without diverting a lot from the original which is at the very least interesting and entertaining.
    What nobody loves : There is a reason why players have strong negative opinions about the story , the plot , the characters, the character development and the theme/politics that are presentd. And it is not because they are all bigots all of a sudden and cant handle the diversity, it is because of the way they are introduced to the the themes of the game and the course of action their characters follow. The reason why people loved the first game was because they were exposed to the immersive realistic and believable connection between Ellie and Joel that slowly formulated in this post apocalyptic world. The distand , cold and heart broken man eventually becoming the father figure to the young but cheerful, witty and strong girl that reminded him of the joys of life and gave it meaning once again. That strong bond that built up throughout the game was in the end the reason why players could justify his choice to spare her life, being inable to lose his daughter again , and possibly denying the creation of a vaccine by her sacrifice.
    In the sequel however, the bond between the charactes seems unrealistic and forced simply for driving the story. Players dont get to witness any strong characters developing over time and strengthening their affiliation with one another. As a result the fail to sympathize with the and care about their progression.
    Apart from that the characters themselves are flat, uninteresting and unlikable for the most part. Ellie is grown but that doesnt mean she has to be cold , emotionless, ungrateful and self concerned as she appears to be during most of the game and especially when she confronts Joel about saving her life. Any other character seems equally uninteresting and unimportant with very little impact .
    The choices f the characters are usully puzzling , idiotic , dangerous , dangerous and lead to way too many near death situations where plot armour instead of characters skills prevent their demise.
    Special mention , Abby who is the new addition and besides her near monstrous look is utterly unlikable despite the many attempts of the game to present her as though she is , and in the end does not find redemption in the hearts and minds of the players . The infamous initial encounter of her and Joel simply cannot be justified even when considering the death of her father. Such violence and hatred is just unacceptable and would make one believe that Joel enjoys killing his victims slowly while cutting them to pieces and making their relatives watch. It is just such a disproportionate response , it is unthinkable.
    The plot is confusing , mishandled , lacks a clear noble goal besides vengeance and doesnt deliver in the end. It lacks passion , enthusiasm , meaning and has just a chep provocation that if one has not played the first game really doesnt even care for as much. Overall it is abysmal and the main reason why the game doesnt have good lasting impressions and motivation for completion.
    And FINALLY the undeniable, the indisputable , the unquestionable and crystal clear message of the game, DIVERSITY. The reason why so many people are annoyed by the theme of the game is not because they are bigots , homophobes, sexists , misogynistes and cis gender white males. These accusations are used daily more and more in order to shelf someone or something from criticism since they are extremely vague to the point that they can be addressed to anyone. It is extremely easy to make these accusations and therefore divert the attention from the main subject.
    This game is filled with politics and progressive messages that are as irrelevant for a post apocalyptic world as they are forced into the story. The strong,homosexual female protagonist , the giant monstrous looking female antagonist.    … Expand

    Gameplay and graphics are overwhelmingly well executed. That said, it's also about 95% identical to the first game. The mechanics and the fighting has changed very little Add to that a world already designed once, it's really just following in the footsteps of it's predecessor. This is a good game, standing on the shoulders of a legendary game. My low score is reflected in the fact that the narrative of the game defecates on said giant. It retroactively ruins one of the best games ever made. It's such a bad story, that it is actually pulling down an otherwise great game into the mud. This should've been a new title. The Director should've kept his hands far away from the beloved characters and existing storyline from 13 years ago.    … Expand

E meu deus o jogo é muito forçado no tema homossexualismo, o tempo todo forçando essa tecla. Nao to nem aí se alguém é lesbica ou gay mas ficou forçado demais. Cansativo, estenderam demais o jogo, personagens secundários são tão sem expressão que voce não grava nem os nomes. Sem contar a morte do joel ridicula voce nem joga com ele e ja morre no inicio.     Plenty of open world games have repetitive elements that you can skip. This game isn't open world so there's no avoiding it. The characters are people you don't really care about because the story seems implausible. Great voice acting. Nice game play. Just not worth the time spent on it.

    Seven years ago, I bought an orange from a grocery store. It was so delicious that it fundamentally changed how I looked at the world. I knew that was a once-in-a-lifetime orange - I told everyone who would listen, "Taste this orange and it will change your life! That grocery store is the best grocery store in the world!" I kept going to that grocery store for 7 years. I even bought a remastered version of the orange just to live an inkling of the experience again.

    Then I heard the news - a new orange after 7 years of waiting. In TV commercials - the grocery store advertised a new orange - as delicious as the first one - but even more appealing! I couldn't wait. I was the first in line to get my hands on it.

    Once I got to the store and bought this "new" orange, however, something was "off." As I bit into the "orange" I knew something was wrong. I went to the manager - Nigel - and asked, "why did you give me a lemon instead of an orange?" Nigel said, "Oh, that IS an orange. That's the orange you NEEDED - not the one you thought you were getting." Distraught with confusion. I looked down at the lemon. It was a perfect shape and color for a lemon.... but still not the orange I was hoping for.

    I went to the second store manager - Hazel - and told her my story of the first orange and how Nigel sold me a lemon. Hazel said, "Oh, remember that orange you bought 7 years ago?     My last attempt at pleading with both managers to understand my situation began, "You're lemon looks and smells great, but I remember how my orange tasted. I know this new orange might not live up to my expectations.... but I know that a lemon is not an orange." Nigel and Hazel looked at each other and said, "You're opinion of what an orange was - was fundamentally wrong. You're understanding NEEDS to be challenged. You don't understand fruit."

    Sad, angry, and confused. I left the grocery store forever - carrying away a lemon. While thinking about the orange for the last time, I'm left with a sour taste in my mouth.

    The characters from the first game deserved better. The characters in the second game from the first settlement deserved better. Where did the hopefulness go? Changing the perception of the first game to suit your narrative for the second game is cheap and LAZY.

    Moments of the clarity within the game showed me what the true game could have been - that saddens me the most :(

    Forcing sympathy onto characters was distasteful and pathetic.
    Nihilism does not make a story "deep."

Ellie and Joel's story has so much potential, yet it was sacrificed just to introduce another character and transition her as the new main character. Sorry, but I will not play any sequel with Abby as the main chacter.

    The game horrendously failed to make us sympathize with Abby, even though we played as her for 12 freakin hours. Are you kidding me? Neil Druckman's marketig lies caught us off guard. And he's wonder why he's got too many backlash and threats because of this? Of course you would. Imagine how many psychopaths u made by creating this game a source of depression. With literally no tone of happiness. Each scene in the game makes you depressed and angry. Imagine having a rough day, having anxiety or depression, then you turn on the one thing that's made you happy during your worst times: playing video games. You bought your favorite one which is TLOU 2 and come across this shht. Would someone who is mentally unhealthy, act calmly? After u made a mess of the game? You know gamers in asia finished this game only once then sold it to other for half the price. Neil, I don't think it's right that you're having threats, but buddy, you had this coming. Graphics alone are breathtaking and game changing and ND out did themselves on this one. However, when I buy a story based game it’s because I want the immersive experience of being involved with a story that I can connect with and fall in love with. TLOU part 1 did this and I went in with the belief that part 2 would be the love letter to fans, as a sequel should be. I was wrong and sorely mistaken. The story is contrived and retcons characters that were previously beloved to push a social agenda. TLOU2 kills off Joel within the first couple hours and expects us to sympathize with the killer Abby who is basically a sociopath and full of hate. It tries to tell us that Ellie’s path of destruction created by Joel’s death will only perpetuate more destruction. Whereas the revenge narrative of Abby is justified because Joel killed Abbys dad and Abby is a good person. She’s not. She relishes in other people’s deaths and feels no remorse. . Echo chamber bs, I love video games and love ones that are rich in culture and personality. This is not that. It’s something else entirely... u can’t go 5 minutes with sexuality being forced down your throat.… Expand

The writing was trash, the game is supposed to be subversive and about conflicting empathy but the writing clearly doesn't understand the characters at all. If you were Ellie you would have killed Abby when you had the chance (Ellie wasn't forced to play as Abby like we were and has no reason to stop killing her in the end) because the way Joel died, with Ellie watching, would **** Ellie up for life... and the same goes for Abby, she would have killed Ellie both times she had the oppurtunity to, doesn't make sense that these characters just stopped hating one another at every crucial turn because Neil thinks the game is better than that lol. The game villainises Ellie in a way I despised, and forces/manipulates the audience to sympathise MORE with Abby. I did not wait 7 years for Abby's story, and even though Joel is a bad person I still like him a hell of a lot more than Abby, who killed him in true psychopath fashion. Every side character is barely developed, they are literally plot devices used to make the player feel awful about what the game forces you to do, pretty much every aspect of the game is there to give the same affect actually, the dogs are guilt trips, the way the random enemies called out generic names of their friends when they die like "Noooo, Mark!" to a point where I am face palming... the notes scattered around the world, having Ellie kill a visibly pregnant woman, beating a woman to death for protecting a friend, and finally the worst one that truly makes Ellie unforgivable is right near the end when Ellie threatens to kill Lev, who is a CHILD who has nothing to do with Ellie's revenge plot, also Ellie didn't chase Abby across hundreds of miles, to have a fair fight with her, the entire point is revenge!!! Like when Abby takes her revenge at the beginning of the game from Joel, she shoots him in the knee to disable him, has her friends pin him down, and then proceeds to beat him to death... so why the **** does Ellie threaten to kill Lev when Abby refuses to fight her in that final battle? Ellie isn't there for a fair fight, she wants to kill Abby! Why in the world, is Ellie letting Abby have any kind of an advantage in a fist fight, as they are both equally as exhausted and downtrodden and tortured as each other.... If I was after revenge, I wouldn't want a fair fight, if the person I hated more than anyone was refusing to fight me, not that I would ask for a fight, I would just kill them, in cold blood, and not give a **** like every npc Ellie and Abby kill without a thought before this point. And on that point, why did Ellie cut Abby down from the post on the beach where she was basically left to rot and die hanging on the post, again, if I was Ellie, I wouldn't untie Abby, I would kill her where she hung on the god damn post!!!! And further on this point, if I heard from a literal slaver, that my worst enemy, who I wanted dead was in slavery, I would be satisfied that they were recieving the punishment they deserved. It's not that Abby deserves to die like that either, it's that Ellie would want that because Joel was like a father to her, who would sacrifice himself for her, Joel would protect Ellie at all costs, always, no matter the consequences. Neil Druckman so clearly doesn't understand revenge, he's clearly never been abused or hurt unforgivably by someone that the message in his game ended up being that violence always leads to more pain, and is always bad, and that all people, even people framed initially as bad guys, are in fact people with feelings and relationships and they're all complex and deserve sympathy. I gotta say, not only do I think the writing was atrociously unbelievable, I also disagree strongly with the agenda of the game, with the idea that violence is always bad. People who have been abused by other people, the victims deserve and are entitled to hate their abusers and want them dead, or people who have loved ones who were abused or murdered or raped by someone, these victims are not wrong for wanting these awful people (no matter how complex the abusers are) dead and even to kill the abusers painfully, like how Abby killed Joel. The real life monsters of the world, rapists, murderers etc, their victims are entitled to wanting revenge or justice, and to hatred, and **** Neil for trying to say otherwise. The game is above all else completely hypocritical and pretentious as well as lacking empathy (while trying ironically to empathise lol) because while trying to tell the player that all the violence is bad and people are people, it also makes killing people in a violent brutal video-game, extremely fun. Why when Neil makes all his money off of gloriously violent video-games is he trying to say violence is bad and revenge is always bad, but then he goes and makes the combat so wonderfully fun? And he makes the awful violence so god damn gratuitous? Worst gaming experience I have ever had!!… Expand

    I can’t imagine how a wonderful storyline game in 1st part can be this worse in the 2nd part, we waited for 7 years to play again with the characters that we loved and it was a shock.
    Anyway the gameplay is good the graphics is great but none of these can make a difference for me because we loved LOU for the story.

    Bought the game without seeing any trailers or anything, all based on the first game.

    While I consider myself open minded and can go down with almost anything; at the end of the game I found myself a worst person than I was at the beginning.

    The craftsmanship of the game is beyond spectacular but the story is senseless over the top drama found on womens books.

I don't want to spoiler anything but regarding the story, this game is written very bad. It's not the events that happens but HOW they happen! The gamer will feel manipulated for 90% of the game.

    Really Naughty Dog is all they have to give after 7 years? The gameplay is better than the first TLOU because now you can jump, dodje and lay down (finally in 2020!).

    There are very long boring sections where you really don't know where to go. Sure, it's a Naughty Dog characteristic but please, listen to the gamers sometimes. I Know "artist's" ego can become too big sometimes...but, Naughty Dog should listen to the gamers more.

    Regarding graphics, I think they did a great job. That's the best part of the entire game. But it should be by default for flagship company with unmeasurable budjet.

    The game makes me very uncomfortable with the young lesbian scenes. Majority of the game is playing with the enemy who you don’t want to play with. The back and forth switching to present to past was just awful. Did JJ abrams direct this game too? Star Wars:the last Jedi, last season of game of thrones, not this trash game.     The characters from the first game The Last of Us are completly gone and ruined. There is ZERO character development. The story is a complete piece of **** written by idiots. If you like to kill zombies you might enjoy this game.. just make sure to mute cutscenes and watch tv until you can start killing zombies again. Ignore the story completly, that way you can enjoy the mwah gameplay. Yes, the gameplay also sucks. Be ready to bash square with everything you encounter.

    The way they killed off Joel is onforgivable. It's fine that he dies, it's a harsh world. It's NOT fine to kill him off like a pig, afraid and covered in blood.

    The perfect game to play if you want plot holes,lies from the devs, or just a reason to cry yourself to sleep from how disrespectful this game is to the first one.

    Mental Trauma ALERT!!!! If you played the first game and never experienced depression before, go ahead and spend 60 bucks to get it, but don't say you haven't been warned.
    Game play is old, not much new, Beautiful visuals and thats all the good things.
    For things that are bad, i don't even......
    Apologies for the visual team but for the trauma this game brought me, 1 star is generous!

    Good gameplay, the ending and story is garbage, the new characters are bad, their gender dont matter, it could have been good if the game let your choose at the end

    Mal guíon, pésima construcción de personajes, mentiras en trailers, forzar al jugador a hacer lo que no quiere con el manejo de Abby es la cagada. Le pongo 1 por los gráficos porque de resto no deja mucho que desear.

I get taking risks, but this was just misery porn. I dislike most of the new characters too. Jessie -was- cool! Owen was growing on me too. But everyone that annoyed me was able to live. I just dont know why this was advertised as Joel & Ellie. It should just be called "Me Abby"… Expand

This game is meant to be unsettling and filled with hate. It wants you to hate its characters. It debases and kills characters from the first game you love. The game play isn’t anything to write home about. It’s an in-line game that pretends to be open world for a few minutes. You press square for everything and I mean EVERYTHING. If you buy this game be prepared for a bleak endless job just to get through to a **** ending.… Expand

    This game is absolutely not the 10/10 that everyone is making it out to be...it has more than its fair share of flaws....Amy Hennig would have made an infinitely better story/game

    2.Disgusting stroy, how much you like The Last of US, how much you will hate this one

    3.To be honest, i can accpet Joel's death, but not in such stupid way !! remember in TLOU1 ? Joel figured out the hunters when he drives the car, at the first sight, and , in part2, he went into these well-trained, armed strangers' base ? Even Ellie knew not to tell her name to a stranger, why Tommy will tell everything ?

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
