    I have long been waiting for this game, continued. By pre-ordering, I decided to support the developers, because they promised a lot. I realized that I was deceived. the game is not worth the money. I have almost no gameplay, this was the most important aspect in my opinion. in general, this is an open hack from the developers. Let's just insult the whole race, and at the same time we will curtsy the religious symbols of another nation. This is a bloody "Andromeda code", I regret that I bought a CD with this game.     Expectations high but if fails to deliver. Abby being an made to be a redeemable character and falling flat. The ending making the entire game meaningless with the message of revenge isn't the answer unless your Abby.

It is basically a one dimension revenge story, with something of a story that really plays on the worse of us and not progressing any moral improvement but simply just portray everyone as the worse. Marketing of this game and early reviews of the game push the narrative you'll be playing the characters you loved from the original, it is not the case, basically one of the key characters from first game is basically murdered for the sake of murdering him early in and you then get to play the character that murder for the majority of this trash. There is nothing to love about the new characters, nothing attractive or sticky to make you enjoy play the game, it is basically all about pointless violence for no reason.

    So writing is basically lazy, uninspired, and seems to play to the twitter rosenspires and not really to the anyone that is actually a fan of the original game but basically an audience that actually doesn't even play games but love to complain about them.

    Basically this game is a waste of time, you're never going to get those hours back and tbh you'd be better off grabbing any other game and playing that.

    Finally, there is a massive double standard with some of the content that Sony have allowed to be in the game in comparison to other titles on PS4.

    I want to give this zero, but visually this game does have some good art and animation, but that is it.    … Expand

    The story is extremely poor and its hard to digest, the writers took this franchise down the wrong path and totally shat on its predecessor. The only redeeming qualities are the graphics and gameplay. You might as well play the first and be done with it.

    What a mess, what made the first game one of the best game of all time? The history The gameplay from 1 and part 2 are decent but to be honest is nothing exceptional is a basic 3rd person shooter. But here its the same formula with such a terrible history that somehow manage to bore people playing for the first time and piss off people who love the first one. And man what a trainwreck is this history that leads nothing to nowhere, with plot that make absolute no sense. Also metal gear fans will know the felling....you want to play with they advertise to you right? You buy the game to play with the character the "sold" to you in the trailers, in their ads. Well guess again you Will spend half the game playing as a character who torture a beloved character from the franchise. Naughty dog/Neil druckman tries so hard, be bold put a powerfull history and Sens a message and all this blahw blah...that turns everything in a huge cliche.
    Just ignore all dialogues, cutscenes and the first game and you might have a good time. Imagine John Wick letting the guy who killed his dog walk away after killed hundreads of people, cause you know...revenge leads tô nowhere bla, bla,bla.

    TLOU1 is one of the best games of all time. The devs of this one managed to **** on the grave of the first game.     Now the disgusting part of the game is its story. I dont have to see this paying 50$ and spending 20 hours playing it. This is the worst story and storytelling I've ever played. It´s not really a videogame, more of a interactive movie. You wander from setpiece to setpiece, give the inputs which are very basic and move on.     A lot of things happen out of stupidety of the characters which is often a result of bad writing. Characters are very flat and only few have signs of development.
    Personally I´d say if you´ve played the last of us, you´ve played the second installment with the main difference that you control a character which you probably can´t really get into.
    Only good thing are visuals, which is not enough to make a interactive movie into a game, but needed to sell this product to a wider audience.
    If you have the urge to "play" it, I´d say ask a friend to borrow, wait until a sale or a used copy because paying 60$ for a tortue porn movie is a bit much.
    Just a friendly insider warning, if a game has too much positive ratings, there´s something fishy going on.    … Expand

    Good Graphics and Good Performance is equal to 3 stars. Only 1/4 of the story is 1 more star. The rest of the game is disgusting with poorly written story (3/4), Agendas, and the disgusting way Naughty Dog designed the female characters.

    The last of us part 2 is very disappointing . The story is poorly written in my opinion. The only characters that stuck out to me was Ellie and Joel along with the flashback scenes of there time together. But everything else is just bad

Геймплей однообразный, стелс работает очень странно и чаще всего необходимости прятаться по кустам нет вообще, всех можно спокойно и так покрошить, скучно вплоть до сонных позывов. В части с Эбби пропадают собаки, которые действительно были серьезной опасности при прохождении за Элли.
    Игра де-факто заслуживает 6-7/10, если бы не продажный игрожур, то у пользователя никогда бы не возникла мысль идти и обваливать рейтинг этой игре.    … Expand

    Shame on Neil Druckmann and Naughty Dog for butchering the last of us, I fully completed the game and the whole story is utterly unbearable bad... With unlogical choices from the main characters. Technically game play and creativity the best I have played, but whoever came up with the story needs a golf club to the head.

    Environments feel more real and they were a blast to play through. Those were my only positives sadly. I played this game on hard and god damn is this AI bad, absolutely no strides forward since 2013 and I had to check a few times to see if the difficulty switched to easy or something. And the story, I hated every second of it. The reason that I fell in love with the first game was because of how real the characters were. I know it has been said a million times but I love the relationship between Joel and Ellie and I couldn't wait to see what they would do in this game. So why does Joel get merked in the first 2 hours? It pisses me off beyond belief. In my opinion, the characters seem way off and boring. I hated Jesse instantly and Dina is such a dry and uninteresting person. And Tommy seems so off and the way he acts was so strange to me. Ellie is no longer a witty and impulsive girl that made you laugh and happy. She is now a stone-cold killer with little to no emotion. The revenge plot is just so stupid and I never thought it would pay off. Which it didn't. I hated every second that I had to play as Abby, and since you play her for nearly half the game, I lost my mind. I have absolutely no sympathy for her and what her past was. She is uninteresting and her character depth is dog ** The game is so brutal and violent it made me sick. The way every person is treated and how they all suffer in some way just hurts me. Joel dies, Jesse dies, Tommy gets shot in the head and loses an eye, Dina abandons Ellie, and Ellie ends the game alone, fingerless, and sad. This brings me to the ending which I could barely get myself too. My mental state was that bad. So, why does Ellie spare Abby? You spend the entire game hunting her down and you kill hundreds of people to get to Abby. The moral of the story is that killing is bad and the cycle of revenge, so basically the game is telling me that killing Abby would get me nowhere. But this is stupid because the story tells me that you need to kill everyone in your path to get to Abby and when I get there, the game says no and insert cutscene. At least give the player a choice. I bet 95 percent of all players would absolutely destroy Abby in the worst way possible. Why am I told to kill for the first 25 hours but not the final resolution? It feels cheap and left such a bad taste in my mouth, I couldn't even break a smile. In fact, the only time I did smile was during the flashbacks with Joel and Ellie. It shows what the game could have been without all the hate and sadness. And the scenes like Owen and Abby in the aquarium I just thought about how this scene could have been good if replaced by Joel and Ellie. The game ending with Ellie unable to play guitar and all alone just crushes me. She didn't deserve any of this. This game is so depressing and intentionally filled with hate. By the end, the game gave me so many negative feelings I can't even explain them. Why would anyone want that in a video game? I cried because the game is so sad and feels like a slap in the face compared to the first game. The game did not need to be like this, I would have loved if it was just the Joel and Ellie flashbacks. I still can't believe this is the end result. I could go more in-depth but I don't want to. I can't express how much it hurts me. Just like Reggie said, "If it's not fun, why bother"? So don't. Don't bother."    … Expand

    Obviously this game doesn't deserve 0/10 nor 10/10. But after i finished it i felt only relieve that this is over. Poorly written characters, stupid desitions that they make, this is not what you expect from tlou. Story has potential, but it doesn't work. Work of a crew - 10/10, writing - -10/10 and since metacritic deleting 0/10 reviews like it did with my last one, my score is 1/10.

    What Niel Druckman did with this game is unfair for those people that played the first game with their heart. Having created a relationship with Joel and Ellie on their peak of the firs adventure is something very difficult to overtake in a second take like this. If they wanted to make a new character for this, they must consider then build that character into the players.

    I like first game but this one is very poorly written, and seems like graphics looks way better in the first game. I hate all about this game, faces, story, characters etc. is so sad that first game was so popular and we expected this one to be the same. But sadly one of the worst games ever. 4/10

    Look, when I want to watch a movie, I just want to sit back and watch the magic happen. What I DON'T want to do is touch the damn controller every 45 minutes because another walking segment interrupts my movie. Please fix this, it's really annoying.

    They should really have a mark for all the critic reviews that were paid for by Naughty Dog. The first game thrived on its plot above all else, and this game flops horribly in that department. The story is atrocious and horribly delivered. I was so excited when this was announced, but this squeal has disappointed me on every level.

By all means, put whoever you want in your game but it's is just plain boring, simple as that. Whatever, we're all incels in Neil's book lol

The story is a mess, zombies are irrelevant, a third into the game you realize they're retconing the first installment, which already was an obvious plagiarism of the movie Children Of Men. This is a game about lesbians and travestites, if twitter collectively had developed a game this would be it. Absolute ****

This game has totally destroyed The last of us. If you can stay away from this **** and play any better game. Naughty Dog has totally **** up.     No sé cómo sentirme después de que hayan destruido todo lo que crearon. Nada en el juego tiene sentido. Ojalá nunca haberlo jugado y nunca haberlo comprado. Me quedo con lo maravilloso que fue el primero. Para mí la segunda parte no existe.
