    This is the first time that I'm in trouble reviewing a videogame. Because tlou 2 grafically is gorgeous and gameplay and level design are good, though is simply a more of the same. But the plot and the characters in the game are the most disappointing developer's choiches ever seen in a videogame. Naughty dog wasted everything with a poor writing.     Why oh why on earth would u ever want to do that to us!! I mean the visuals and audio are definitely one the best ou there, but damn it is that much how u hate you're own characters? and what is wrong with the charcter design i couldn't assume the gender of pretty much half the characters involved in the storyline and especially abby!

    It breaks my heart to write this, but I really did not expect such a poor story after all these years of waiting. While there were a few genuinely good moments, majority of game filled up with plot holes. It just took elements of what worked for the first game without understanding what made them compelling. Para empezar los mismos desarrolladores dijeron que querian que la segunda parte se sintiera un juego distinto del primero pero directamente lo que hicieron fue tirar al suelo y escupir todo lo que habiamos jugado del primero y que en ves de que se tratara de cariño y respeto seria de odio y venganza y eso no esta mal como concepto pero a la hora de ejecutarlo en el juego lo hicieron todo mal poniendo personajes que nadie conocia y a nadie le importaban y matarlos para hacer que el jugador "sintiera pena"? no lo e pero el hecho de que maten al personaje principal del primer juego de una manera tan humillante y ridicula solo para que despues a la hora de vengarze ellie decida personarla despues de todo lo que le hiso de matar a la gente que queria y lastimar a dinay tommy y aun desoues de haberla golpeado brutalmente cuando pelea con ella al final solo piensa " a mejor la perdono" es simplemente estupido, ridiculo, lamentable y sin sentido porque lo unico que querian todos los jugadores era matarla de la manera mas dolorosa posible… Expand

    No es necesario crear la secuela de un gran juego simplemente por interés político y propagandístico.
    TLoU2 tiene el peor guión jamás escrito, sin sentido y forzado.
    Se creen muy transgresores por acabar con ciertos personajes como lo hacen y dar protagonismo a un personaje salido de la nada y quien nadie quiere, y para más inri encima: "tia, la venganza es super mala tia".
    En fin...

    All the politics aside this game fell flat for me.

    Mechanics and game play were a bit outdated, Voice acting and presentation were good, Story did not line up with the first game, seemed far fetched.

    I expected more from this game since the first one was so awesome. The connection you felt between Joel and Ellie in the first game is not present here.

    This is such a negative game! The script is very bad after playing a couple of hours I had to return it. It doesn't make any sense to play it. I should become a lot of happiness but instead, I got a lot of disappointing moments. Is this the game for players? No, this is a game for critics and newspapers.

A total disrespect with the character and the fans. Oh graphics are fine, but after almost seven years it is the minimum we expected. And worse, you get to play as this trans! From inserting a character almost certainly based on himself who spits on the corpse of the first game to adding parts with his religion and personal politics there can be no doubt that this game is Neil's fantasy or else a physical embodiment of his own arrogance. Who signed off to release this? From the original games heartwarming and brutal paean to the relationship between Fathers and their Daughters to a confused mishmash of hysterical modern political preaching and violence to the point of parody this game wants to be hated to make a point that even it isn't sure about. In places visually stunning but the animations at times leave a lot to be desired. The jump button is useless and the box declaring it as a feature in 2020 is ridiculous. To best sum up TLou2 we must compare it to the first game because it is an unashamed vendetta against everything that made the first game special. It is akin to tearing down a classic painting, burning it and then proclaiming yourself the true artist. I understand certain zeitgeists put deconstruction of a classic on a pedestal but this is just crude and bitter. Even the pseudo Kojima trickery attempted by the trailers was bought by nobody. The fans knew what was coming. The main point of my review is that hardly any of what is in Tlou2 needs to be in a video game. A good video game with a bad story is playable. A bad video game with a good story is acceptable. Tlou2 may have familiar controls to the first game but the game tries to guilt trip you for using them. A survival horror game that tries to guilt trip you for surviving is not worth the plastic its printed on. Do sports games penalise you for scoring? All in all the game sought to elicit a negative response and I hope it gets it because contempt for the fanbase should never be rewarded. But then without warning you are stuck being negan and meant to care about him how ever nice he is.....and then you gotta fight negan as Rick and then fight negan as Rick and at the end nothing happens and it was all pointless. Thats this game. I gwt the devs choices but it didnt work. It took me like 8 hours of being pissed ofg about having to play as abby that it spoiled the game.... And the ironic part is abbys story is the only good and interesting part about the story. I just spent 26 hours disappointed. The combat seems very unbalanced. Its either too easy or very OP. fighting doesnt happen very often so its difficult to get into a good momentum. The autosave at times was twrrible. Beginning of a boss fight unprepared with nothing made and it saves like that. So have to die rinse and repeat u til you fluke the win.... This happened to me with the mega monster in the hospital. Tbh probably wouldnt be a bad game if it wasnt a sequek to one of fhe greatest stories ever told.… Expand

Personally, I don’t care about the LGBT + agenda, but this game was created just for this purpose. Not for players like me who love the first part and look forward to continuing

    After playing, I understand why the critics were censored to only review the first half of the game. After that it takes a total $h!t. Poor writing and lack of a compelling story and character really hurt its potential. Visually, it's incredible. Everything else needs major improvement.

Everything else is complete brainwashing **** The story is **** the characterization of many characters is **** the pacing is **** and even the animations don't look that impressive.     The first game is one of the best games ever made. This game has no reason to exist, hence it is 1/10. I have never felt more betrayed in my life. Characters are treated so poorly, I thought this was star wars the last jedi part 2. Deeply saddened by what became of this series. Alas, this game does no exist to me

TLOU2 sums up all of their mistakes in this generation. Naughty Dog never really knew how to handle the evident crisis they had while developing this. It shows in the final product.     La primera sensación tras poner The Last of Us Part II en mi consola, fue la de estar ante el juego de la década. La puesta escena, el trasfondo narrativo y los valores de producción se sentían fantásticos, uno de esos juegos que desprenden cariño y dedicación por cada uno de sus costados. Creo además, que sonoramente supone un punto de inflexión en los juegos de gran presupuesto, laLa primera sensación tras poner The Last of Us Part II en mi consola, fue la de estar ante el juego de la década. La puesta escena, el trasfondo narrativo y los valores de producción se sentían fantásticos, uno de esos juegos que desprenden cariño y dedicación por cada uno de sus costados. Creo además, que sonoramente supone un punto de inflexión en los juegos de gran presupuesto, la inmersión en el mundo es absoluta gracias a este aspecto, y suma sin duda alguna, un plus extra a la experiencia. Sin embargo lo bueno acaba ahí, cuando profundizas en su jugabilidad te sumerges en mecánicas toscas y poco intuitivas, lo que termina lastrando la experiencia. Además a nivel narrativo presenta algunas incongruencias, especialmente en el caso de Joel, y visualmente no parece aquél juego que nos deslumbró en el ya lejano E3 2018. En cuanto a la IA amiga parece hacer perfectamente su función, pero la enemiga vuelve a estar lejos del rango de acción que se mostró en el E3 2018.

    Por otra parte el juego presenta algunos problemas técnicos en forma de bugs que en algunos casos te forzarán a reiniciar tu progreso en el juego.

Bonito y hostil pero hueco, no me termino de creer que Ellie, una muchacha escuálida de 19 años pueda cargarse a tíos evidentemente más grandes y fuertes en combates 1 a 1, y para intentar dar ese toque de vulnerabilidad aparece Abby como personaje jugable cazándose entre sí para “equilibrar” lo vulnerable que puede ser Ellie, tanto odio y venganza para un final cutre sin imaginación, un escupitajo en un ojo, así sin mas!.
    El juego se nota “manoseado” por 2 o mas equipos distintos de desarrolladores, en momentos se ve muy bien y en otros deja muchísimo que desear, algunas animaciones y texturas son bastante cutres como la deformación y calidad del terreno, o en bastantes de los objetos que sirven de cobertura con calidad nula, la narrativa es de una novela barata e infantil que le pasa factura tratando ser inclusivo pero de manera forzada y hasta de mal gusto, la falta de respeto hacia los verdaderos fans se hace evidente.
    En cuanto a la jugabilidad ha progresado muy ligeramente respecto al anterior se siente “más de lo mismo”, (Infamous, Uncharted, Horizon, Days Gone, Dead Stranding) escenas escriptadas por todas partes, sigilo mal logrado, gunplay sin emoción y terrible IA, demasiadas veces hay que pasar por grietas y recovecos que resulta totalmente irreal, misma jugabilidad que los juegos mencionados, que por cierto al menos en mi opinión ya cansa la verdad.    … Expand

This game has totally destroyed The last of us. If you can stay away from this **** and play any better game. Naughty Dog has totally **** up. Between that, the close up camera and 20-30 FPS this game doesn't feel fun to play. I didn't have this problem with RE2, but maybe because it was 60FPS on PC, not sure. After seeing all the review sites and shows giving this game awards, I finally decided to pick it up on the ps4. What a big mistake and waste of money that was...... I was expecting some amazing storyline with amazing gameplay but that is not what this game is at all.
