    não da para pegar carisma com os personagem e o único personagem que você sente um afeto morre no inicio do jogo para fazer uma historia sem criatividade que leva só na vingança de merda com personagens que aparecem e somem rapidamente sendo que no final a Ellie quase morre. O melhor é quando eles recriam a parte do museu da Ellie com o Joel com a vila que mata o Joel toma no cú Naughty Dog

    It worth a 7 if it's not TLOU2.
    Might be a decent game if named like Mushroom Adventure cuz it's gameplay is nice , but still , it's poor cutting skill make it a disaster to make players feel the same with the characters , not to mention those
    incomprehensible decisions made by main characters , make it impossible to reach 10.

    Jugué 2 veces, la primera en 27 horas, la segunda en 24 horas, la historia es pésima, como dieron fin a Joel, un gran personaje que sabíamos que moriría, hasta un personaje que acompaño a abby, tuvo un final más épico que joel, historia pésima, muchas veces repetitiva, en exceso obligarnos a jugar con abby. El juego no me gustó.

See...The gameplay is a masterpiece but the story is **** & if you're marketing a game as a story-driven one...you need to deliver your peak performance in that one but this is just Lazy writing to elicit some kind of emotional response from the player...it just feels cheap & the Abby part of the game is real long & feels forced...instead of rooting for her..i just wanted to get this over with but the climax was just a roundhouse kick to the nuts & the entire journey i felt throughout the game was just wasted.… Expand

    Graphically the game is amazing and the game play is the best from naughty dog. But the story is a disappointing wet fart. If you care at all about the story dont by this game cause it will just piss you off and make you never really want to play a naughty dog game again.

    Sadly a terrible story. Can't even lovethe new main character as much as I am trying to emphatize with her. The tragedy of the first game went to waste.

    I mean wtf is going on here? Lesb***s? Triangle love? WTF Naughty Dog. The last game was known for its character development and emotion, not for graphics or whatever. This game has too many time jumps and flashbacks. They completely messed up the whole story. I'm giving this 2 outta 10 for the hard work they've done so far.

FLASHBACK "Ellie, you need to take revenge ..." - I need to take revenge, FLASHBACK "No, Ellie, there is no point in taking revenge" - yes, I do not need to take revenge. This can describe the whole game.

    Honestly, give me a month, I'll write twice as best on my knee.

    The gameplay is exactly the same. Nothing "incredible", "IMPOSSIBLE" is not here.

    The guys who painted the whole world - well done, worked hard for fame. Two points for you.

    First half of the game is okay. Gameplay is good. Graphics are good. Hated Abby from the moment she appeared on screen. Not even upset at what she did but even bad guys have dead parents. She’s the bad guy in the game. I don’t want to hear about how there isn’t good and bad in this world because, despite how this world is, Ellie is the “good guy”. Forcing me to spend half the game as aFirst half of the game is okay. Gameplay is good. Graphics are good. Hated Abby from the moment she appeared on screen. Not even upset at what she did but even bad guys have dead parents. She’s the bad guy in the game. I don’t want to hear about how there isn’t good and bad in this world because, despite how this world is, Ellie is the “good guy”. Forcing me to spend half the game as a character I don’t like, trying to get me to like them, made me want to keep stopping the game. Why would I like her? Because she saved a couple kids? Or because she had sex with her ex who had a very pregnant girlfriend? Or that she whined? Or was a **** It also threw off the pacing of the game and made it feel super long. When Abby and Ellie fought in the theater and I was forced to beat up Ellie, I was mad. Then, when you think it’s all over, Ellie is living a normal life, the game keeps going and you go after her again? Dumb. 2/10… Expand

I don't want to type out paragraphs upon paragraphs but, the general gist is that the developers and publishers embargoed this game for good reason- they knew fans would not like the story, and tried to hide it, which is shady and disloyal. Neil Druckmann is a SJW idiot and has ruined the sequel to one of the best games of all time. I just...don't know how to convey my disappointment properly. The story makes you feel things, but not the same way the last game did. The story is bad. The new characters are shallow and bad. The resolutions to both are just BAD. Gameplay has not evolved ONE BIT from the first game.

    Graphics are good though. Wait to buy this game on a steep sale (no more than $15), otherwise just replay The Last Of Us. Rate this game a 1/5.    … Expand

I'm sure no one will read this, but I need to write this for myself as much as for the off chance that it will actually get read. I am Joel's age, I have two daughters that were Ellie's age for game one and subsequently game two. Hell my youngest daughter, who is now 15, is named Elle and has come out as gay!! This was OUR game, we loved it. We COSPLAYED it at Houston's COMICPALLOOZA. We have been waiting for this game for 7 years. The pre-order for LOS 2 was their Christmas present to me last year. And in a blink of an eye, NaughtyDog destroyed that for us. Tore up my memories and a very special connection that I had with my daughters. Of course in the span of things this is a small hurt, but it was special to me. There are no games that have had this relationship explored. Seven years ago, I teared up when Joel lost his daughter. NaughtyDog not only killed Joel, but they killed his relationship with Ellie and they also killed the Ellie we all knew. They did this for selfish, narcissistic (sp?), and ( I suspect) SJW reasons.

    Additionally, NaughtyDog knew they had a pile of crap on their hands because they lied to us for over a year on what the game would be. To compare, if you were sold that "Schindler's List" was a wonderful period peace love story set in Nazi Germany; rather than a heart rending true story master peace, you would come out of the movie pissed; no matter how good the movie was. Is Schindler's List a great movie? Yes! Was it what you thought you were buying you and your date a ticket for? HELL NO!!!

    The game is beautiful, the mechanic's are good but boring, and it's very similar to the original. However, it's depressing, with a convoluted story where characters make decisions that would never be made. The game is just bad. These Hipster SJW's gave us a "Tin Man", excuse me...a "Tin Person": Shiney, Operable, but NO HEART!!!

    Finally NaughtyDog (if anyone associated with Naughty Dog actually reads this) shame on you. You lied and cheated your fans for 4 million pre-release sales, you stuck Joel's head next to Luke's and Han's, and you tore apart a very special bond between this father and his daughters . I will never forgive you all for what you did to a wonderful story and I most certainly will never buy another one of your games.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the game is not bad but it is not a masterpiece, the first one was much much better (story or gameplay) what happens to a certain character could have been avoided it was useless and naugthy dog playing badly are games for this part,being forced to play the killer of a certain character it was necessarily not the best way to attract players to play your games, if could have played Abby in another context without coming to the end of a revenge for an old spaghetti movie that leads to nothing at the end the story would have been different and i think all gamer would have seen the arrival of new characters like Abby better, and joel could have survived without having to fight, for a main character history they could have started in another way without having to kill like a vulgar dog, the gameplay was good anyway and the functions for disabled person it deserves one more point… Expand

    Nowhere near the finely crafted story of the first. The graphics are phenomenal, gameplay is okay, but story is straight up awful. The choices made in this game give absolutely no satisfaction for the player, and in the end all choices mean absolutely nothing. It's a shame ND took this route, I expected better. Save your money and skip this one.

Ever since I played the first last of us I loved the game and story that came with it I absolutely adored the universe but Neil had to go and ruin it with the last of us 2 I’m glad some people were able to enjoy it but the game just felt so unrewarding and messed up the whole franchise for me with the way they handled the game they could of added so much to it and made it great but they fell short for me. An example would be Joel’s death yes I get the world is crazy and anything could happen but cmon you could’ve done it better than that sorry excuse for a character death a great example of one would be lee from the walking dead I hope Neil doesn’t come back on the third installment because he just ruined the characters and their arcs feel completely pointless now.… Expand

    Completed the game few days back and currently on going New Game+ only for obtained Platinum trophy. Story plot was kind of horrible arrangement, characteristic especially those from previous game must be having some mental ill issue causing they did some extraordinary move in certain scene.     As for the system, besides the accessible function was new for some disability person can enjoy the game, the rest really look like an upgrade version from previous game without any surprise in between the change. (For example, RDR1 & RDR2, RDR2 have almost 50% in at least on system part was different if compare with previous game).

    The graphic was nice, only certain small detail was kind of weird if you not look into it in detail.

    Friendly advise for those who want to gain platinum trophies in this game, you might being torture by the loading time instead of re-watch those skippable cinematic cutscene.......it was slightly long to wait especially skip the cutscene in between the chapter, it take time to fully load up a new chapter.

    Mechanics wise the same as you'd expect from the first game. No complaints there. Though none of us are playing TLOU for the gameplay, we are here for the story. And the way a major character was killed and the obviously low skilled emotional manipulation involved absolutely destroys this game's value.

Слили Джоэла, слили Джесси, ничего не оставили в конце. Любовная линия с Диной абсолютно никакая, её не за что любить, пока был жив Джесси, она металась туда и обратно, то к нему, то к Элли, поэтому не возникает никакой привязанности к ней, никакого сопереживания. Единственный положительный момент, который можно разве, что только додумать, это личные переживания Элли, из-за невозможности простить и проститься с тем человеком, который заменил ей отца, всё. В остальном игра крайне никакая, не раскрыта, растянута. Полно "сильных" женщин, которые все решают за "слабых" мужчин, в постапокалиптическом мире полным полно гомосексуалов и трансегендеров, что мы натыкаемся на них почти повсеместно. Мир игры остался на том же самом месте, ни развития, ни изменений, как подготовленный кусок глины, но без гончара. The only things i can praise about this game are 3 things :The Graphics, the gameplay(for the most parts) and the attention to details. Let's start with the pros of this game . THE GAMEPLAY: The graphics look amazing :these might be some of the best graphics i've ever seen in a game,the ridiculous attention to detail is astonishing .when you're aiming if you wait for a second your character will cock the gun back. the gameplay against the humans is some of the best i've ever played: the AI is excellent in gunplay :using flanking maneuvers, calling out to one another periodically. It's pretty damn fun playing when you get to these parts.Unfortunately i can't say the same for the infected parts : these encounters are extremely lackluster. The game added these zombies called shamblers :they're basically Bloaters that don't one hit kill you and i honestly think they were the were the most annoying zombies ever.Shamblers have these spore bags which emit acidic gas.This gas acts like a poison that you've got to get out of if you want to live.Unfortunately, they take ages to dissapear so if the shamblers throws too many bags you're dead . I would also like to add that the melee aspects just plain suck. It feels like a downgrade from the first game because now it's much harder to actually kill your enemies:even with a bladed weapon like a machete ,it'll take you 3-4 hits to kill one person. Apart from that most of the new things are pretty great :you can attach a supressor on your pistol, weapin modification looks awesome:you actually see your character upgrading the weapon instead of Joel holding down his bag. However the workbench kinda lies to you : in a scripted event ,you'll get attacked while on the workbench. This could've been a good idea to be mindful of your surroundings but the game never does that. Anyways that's pretty much all i have to say about the gameplay :it's decent but pretty terrible in some areas. Now you might be asking yourself if i like the gameplay why is my review only 2 out of 10 and that's because the "gameplay is king" aspect doesn't apply to games like The Last of Us: sure the gameplay has to be fun but the story has to be great . THE STORY: This is probably the worst story i've experienced since Game of Thrones Season 8 .Yeah,it's that bad. The story takes place 5 years after the first game:Ellie and Joel are barely in speaking terms and Ellie has grown up to be very unlikeable.Now the first part of the game is honestly the best part in the entire game. The game opens up with a flashback where Joel tells Tommy what happened in the first game while cleaning a guitar .Joel acts very out of character here.He says with certainty "They were gonna make a cure" even though Joel from the first game was well aware the Fireflies would never have been able. The horseriding back to Jackson is the only time you ever play as Joel so enjoy it while it lasts. After that Joel returns home to Ellie and gives her his guitar promising to teach her .You play a guitar minigame and Joel starts singing to Ellie.After that he puts the guitar down and tells Ellie a bad joke.This scene is probably the best scene in the game ; it captures the charm of the first game with our 2 main characters and actually makes you happy. After that we cut to 4 years later :Ellie wakes up and goes to the bar to hear an apology from someone who called her a dyke for kissing a girl.The guy admits he was at fault,blaiming his bevahior on being drunk .He offers Ellie steak sandwiches but she declnes stating they are "bigot sandwiches" .Now not only is this scene awful it's also **** stupid:who ,in a zombie apocalypse, would care what someone called them ? This isn't modern day America this is a zombie apocalypse where people try to kill each other. After that we control Abby, the new main character, she talks to a guy called Owen about tracking someone .Owen tells Abby it's too risky.Abby responds to that by jumping into infected territory with no plan or backup to find Joel .By pure **** coincidence she does. She,Joel and Tommy escape from the infected by returning to Abby's group. They take care of their horses sdaying they're leaving soon.Then for no **** reason they decide to enter the cabin with all of the armed strangers. Not only that but Tommy tells a group of well armed strangers their location and their names.This makes no sense why would Joel be so lax with trust when in the first game he ran over someone because he knew it was an ambush whilst in this game, Joel stands in the middle of a room with strangers unarmed. they blow off his kneecap and start torturing him to death with a golf club. Ellie finds them and vows vengeance on them.They killed Joel off in extremely moronic ways but guess what? You play for 10 hours as Abby trying to make us sympathise with her .At the end Ellie decides to spare her because she had a flashback of Joel. 2/10… Expand

    Music 6/10

    Honestly, I find the music to be quite unremarkable, none of the tracks stuck with me like other OSTs have in the past. At the end of the day, this type of music isn't for me and I accept it.

    Graphics 9/10

    The game is visually stunning, with the reason why it's not a 10/10 being that I found some visual bugs along the way, some of which were very noticeable.

    Gameplay 8/10

    The gameplay being 8/10 is me comparing it to the previous game, combat as stayed mostly the same and, for the kind of game it is, it works. However, even though gameplay would generally be the most important part of a game, this is more akin to a movie, which is why I feel sad to have to give the story...

    Story 1/10

    There's no way to explain how I felt after finishing the game, although disgust might be the closest feeling. Upon finishing the story, I just couldn't understand why they would shoot themselves in the foot like this. It's genuinely baffling that after the emotional story of TLOU Part 1, that they would manage to screw it up this much. Killing off the character that served as the protagonist in the first title of a series has been done before and, when done right, can cause some emotional responses from people that no other medium can. However, never had I seen that treated it's past with such disrespect, literally spitting at it's corpse. Some other writing decisions were also dubious, such as playing from the POV of the antagonist. However, the game tries to convince the player to like the character who killed the previous protagonist. When games make you play as the villain, it's generally in one of two ways: either because the villain is cool and interesting (examples: Vergil from DMC or M. Bison in Street Fighter) or to reinforce how evil the villain really is. Instead,the game tries to make the villain sympathetic and utterly fails at it. Additionally, it feels like the game is trying to send a message, that THIS is what you have now and you'll buy it and play it and YOU WILL LIKE IT, borderline disrespecting the people who have waited for years for this game. In summary, the story doesn't feel like a downgrade, it feels like they threw together ideas from what could have been a good story and worked their hardest to make it as bad as possible.

    Conclusion

    Some might think that "since everything else was good, then the game doesn't deserve a 2 because of the story". However, as I said, The Last of Us is more of a movie than a game and, if this is the best that the writers can come up with after 7 years, which, then I can only say that I'd rather pretend that this never happened and keep waiting for the release of the game that I and many others were expecting, one that doesn't make such ridiculous mistakes in it's writing.

    Also, I want to leave a note at the end, the way Naughty Dog (specifically the director for TLOU 2, Neil Druckmann) and Sony have been taking the criticism against the game has been nothing short of ridiculous. You could make the argument that the people leaving negative reviews are hate-filled trolls and, to an extent, there's always people like that but you'd have to be insane to believe that everyone who dislikes this game is like that. I want to leave it as clear as possible, I don't have any problem with the representation in the game, although I still question if it was necessary in the game. However, the "progressiveness" of a piece of media does not make it immune to criticism and I stand by what I wrote. The game is a true narrative mess and to treat the fan base as a bunch of "haters", "trolls", "bots" and "racists" for disliking it is not the way to go.

    And there you have it, I hope I managed to convey how I fet about the game as a whole, although I feel like there was more to be said. I doubt anyone at ND will ever see this but understand, this review comes from someone who admires the work you do, I have nothing but respect for the people who work on video games for people like myself who enjoy playing them.

    TL;DR: Saying that I was disappointed isn't nearly enough to express how I felt about this game's story.    … Expand

I don't want to play as the one who killed him, at least not in that way. All that comes after, when you are forced to play as Abby, is a shallow attempt to force me with a character I don't like.
    If the game made me first play as Abby, and then she reveals to be the one who is going to kill Joel, then it would have been WAY better.

    Joel muere de forma muy estúpida, prácticamente entregándose a Abby.
    Ellie deja de ser un personaje dulce y valiente, a alguien irritante e hipócrita a más no poseer.
    Dina solo existe para decir que Ellie es lesbiana, pues pues a las 5 o 6 horas de juego ya la dejas abandonada en un teatro.
    Abby es una antagonista plana y sin gracia, pues solo es una soldado más sin motivación mayor que matar a Joel. Su razón de existir es por culpa de un personaje nada importante del primer juego y eso también le resta puntos.
    Desaprovecharon por completo utilizar a Tommy durante el juego y en su lugar nos pusieron a jugar con Abby, y he aquí otro de mis problemas. Nos meten su historia en un momento interesante y nos corta por completo el rollo. ¿Por qué la necesidad de hacer la historia de Abby tan larga? Que sí, que es para empatizar con ella y todo, pero yo no quiero jugar 11 putas horas con un personaje que odio por matar a Joel, y su historia es aburrida... No nos dice nada importante, solo lo que hicieron Abby y los demás después de estar en Jackson. Eso no me interesa en lo absoluto. Después nos meten una innecesaria e incómoda escena de Abby teniendo relaciones con Owen... No tenían que hacerlo, es simplemente innecesario y asqueroso. La historia avanza un poco y tenemos que darnos de puñetazos con Ellie, dejándola casi muerta.
    Pasa un poco más de historia y vemos el como Ellie sufre por la muerte de Joel, por lo que decide buscar a Abby para matarla... Y aquí, lo peor. Su final. Ellie encuentra a Abby y no la deja ir, pues quiere matarla. Se pelea con ella en el océano y, antes de matarla, tiene un flashback que la hace dejar ir a Abby... Ole tus huevos... ¡ASÍ NO ES UN SER HUMANO! ¡UN SER HUMANO SI LA HABRÍA MATADO! Háganlo bien la próxima, joder. Ese final no sirve, sólo hace ver a Ellie más hipócrita de lo que nos habían mostrado. Después de matar a cientos de soldados WLF y a los amigos de Abby, ¿a la asesina real la dejas vivir? ¿¡Qué te pasa!?     It's weird that Neil Drugman used 28 hours to teach us that revenge comes with payback. It seems like he doesnot know we knew that already before we play this game and he just kept talking and talking and even making up stories that doesnot even make any sense to pursuade us.
    And *** cheating behind his wife when she is pregnant? Seriously?That's disgusting.

    While I did respect the gameplay, and this is a major graphical improvement, the story is just not great. This game is unsatisfying, depressing, and above all not what anyone wanted. Naughty dog has destroyed their own magnum opus, spat in it's face, and false advertised it to be something entirely different. It's no wonder this game got leaked, it almost feels like an intentional disaster.

They enhanced much more than the first game, with new mechanics and challenges. Better AI and of course new enemies with bug environments allowing you to be stealthy or aggressive with the amount of the room. Graphics are amazing and they did have some pretty cool levels. A couple of nice characters that were built upon. I do like Dina’s and Ellie’s relationship just wish it was more explored on. Cool zombie types, and love how bloaters we’re aggressive. Now with the main issues of the game. Joel’s death was disrespected, with him going out of character (even after 4 years I’m sure they would play it safe just as Tommy). That’s what bothers everyone. The character who built upon in the first game was spat on with a horrible death. He deserved a fitting end. If that’s a small issue you naughty dog it’s not since they should know how to Deliver a character’s beginning and end. The story was a huge mess, they way of how naughty dog structure it was painful and disappointing. Making you play Abby after the death acne of Jeese feels way worse and Joel’s killer. Trying to build empathy for her but we all had hatred towards her which was a horrible way of delivery on how the story was structured. Actually no the game forces you to like Abby, which is a horrible way showing the aftermath of this. There was no need to make the player have to play her as of how the game was structured. Abby felt very unrealistic, she shouldn’t have muscle like that and no I’m not saying that every women doesn’t have the ability to gain that. No I’m saying she shouldn’t have big muscles like that since it’s a zombie apocalyptic world we’re I’m sure they don’t have much food like that since there’s few resources just as every other supply. Ellie feels out of character in game just as Joel’s death, when we get to her beating Nora, she doesn’t feel as much pissed off as she was when she was killing David. Yes I understand they were both different situations but I felt it could’ve been handled better. David wanted to chop Ellie, but Nora was a person who stood along side with Joel’s death. Ellie should’ve hit Nora interrupting as she spoke of her immune system, making her talk, showing how mad she is, of how badly she wants this revenge. This game was made to be hatred as the first was love. But we don’t feel hatred from Ellie, just hatred from the fans of this game. Not to mention of how we don’t see Nora getting beaten up but we see Joel getting clubbed. Shows a bigger disrespect to the character. There’s not enough character development other than Ellie (a bit). We were also given the most unnecessary sex scene, no need to have that. Ellie didn’t feel as much emotional during the aftermath of Joel, which is what bothered me, along with Tommy. Not to mention the ending, it destroys Ellie, this isn’t a game of hatred or revenge anymore. Doesn’t even feel like a Last Of Us Game. It was about survival, now it’s about killing people and having sexual acts along with pointless events. This game is the biggest F U to the fans. Majority of the fans are going to pretend this never happened, everything could’ve been delivered better within the story. So far it’s the biggest F U to the fans and the company. I know Naughty Dog won’t survive this lost, not just because of the people who left the project, but the amount of disappointing fans. Creator of Naughty Dog, basically had sexual intercourse with every fan which did not give consent. Wish I did read the leaks, this made my brother having to suffer to fix the PS4, and buy The Last Of Us Part 2 twice due to issues of the PS4. As us fans get a F U from naughty dog, we give one back but one much harder. Never again to trust them and buy a product from them.… Expand

I will say that this game has ok gameplay, but why did we love the first game so much? We loved it for the excellent storytelling, the complexities of the characters, and the developing relationship between them. This game took everything we love about the first one and threw it in the toilet. Or rather, bashed it's brains in with a golfclub.     I'm ok with people liking the game, but real fans of the story can't stand by a positive review. It is not possible. I have accepted the message of the game. On the other hand, from a studio that strives for masterful story-telling, this game is a spiteful nightmarish slap in the face to fans. Story with PLOTHOLES and atrocious character development.

    The flow of this would have been great for a art house movie and a entry at Sundance.But it's incredibly damaging for a video game.This game is ultimately what happens when a game is written for both the head writer's ego and the blue check marks on Twitter. To see a developer become so anticonsumer within the development of one game is truly heart breaking.R.I.P. Naughty Dog.

    For what it is - stunning graphics i can give it a 2, because thats it.
    Critics are telling you that it is a masterpiece but thats just not true, game lost its charm, not only because what happened to Joel, but also because there is no solid story now, noone wanted to play TLOU for revange, so why choose that direction?
    To the main complain:
    Not only the game gets rid of Joel in first minutes of the gameplay, it also makes you play as his executioner and tries to force you to feel for her, how? Maybe if you didnt kill the the main charcter at the beggining that would be possible, but game doesnt let you.
    If you wanted us to feel anything then maybe kill Joel later, so his death has some actuall weight to it? Let us play with him, let us play as Ellie, let us play as Abby and feel for her, dont just throw away main aspect of the game just for sake of doing so...
    If you buy that garbage - be prepared to waste 10 or 12 hours playing as character that you just want but during that time cant kill.
    Honestly id be more happy to play one of the flashback of Joel and Ellie for 12hrs than playing that thing.
    Even best graphics alone cant make the game good if there is a story not to be found.    … Expand

I literally had to Force my self like it was a job to finish the second half of this games. Literally when I switched to Abby, I said to myself, I do not want to play this game anymore I hate this **** I 100% will not pick this game back up and play again in the future.

    Abby .. From Abby you made the perfect all-forgiving character who is forced to empathize by squeezing a tear from the player.
    Side characters are faceless and have no open story. However, like all the surroundings in this game.
    Why didn’t you open the gang war? Why didn’t you reveal the relationship between Abby and Owen? Why didn’t you reveal your relationship with Dina?
    All that is in this game is an incredibly beautiful picture and a bunch of questions about what is happening.
    You say that the players did not understand the idea? No, this bad plot could not convey any idea. You wanted to show the story from different angles, but it didn’t work out. The second part of the game is long and not interesting. The gameplay moments remained the same and simply do not work as part of the passage for Abby and the turns in the story are very predictable.
    But the saddest thing is the end .. It would be better if you let Ellie finish the job. The plot would come to a logical conclusion.
    But you ruined that too.
    So, all that this game has left is frustration, resentment and emptiness.
    Of course I do not regret the money spent because this is the most beautiful game I have seen. Animations, graphics are all great. But this is not enough. First of all, I was waiting for a great plot, but I got nothing.    … Expand

    disappointing 5 minutes into the game and doesn't redeem its self at least story wise also not much is added to the game play on the positives of the game i can say it is pretty to look at and has great facial animations but the game as a whole lacks innovation and the story lacks substance i recommend picking this up at least half price

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Such a disgrace to the previous game. This was supposed to be the continuation of the first game, which the false advertisement showed us. Everything I liked from the first game, the relationship between our two main characters, the depth of their personalities, the story of hope in an uncertain world, all of it was taken away. The franchise was all about the story, you would think ND knew that since he co-wrote the first one, but no. He just threw it all out the window within the first two hours of the game, and then tried to make us feel sorry for a despicable side-character through the 2nd half of it.
    Even if we ignore the plot holes and inconsistencies throughout the gameplay, the story still feels forced and poorly written. It tried to make us feel guilty about violence even though it gave us no choice to avoid it. The message it tried to convey was soo dumb.. like we didn't already know revenge was a bad thing. I hated the Abby gameplay, I actually considered quitting many times but I kept playing with the hope that this story would turn out to be one of Ellie's nightmare.. which would still have been a better plot that the one we were given.

    Thank you Neil Druckmanm for ruining a franchise with so much potential, at least it will serve as an example for future game developers.

    I'll give it a 2/10 for the graphics improvement, and out of compassion for the people who worked hard on it during 5 years.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
