Made an account just to review this game.
Finished the game and traded it in immediately. I have to pretend like this game doesn't exist now as it ruined the franchise.
    Story was garbage 1/10
    Characters suck 1/10
Gameplay - basically the same as the first game
    Graphics are an easy 9/10

To be fair the game play, though not much of a change, still okay. graphics was nice and good. that being said, the reason i like the TLOU1 is the story so for me this is just a let down. if not for the story i think it wont be much of a drag to play this. new characters are just not likable. original characters just nerfed for the sake of the plot so dissapointing. too linear and just bleak

Definitely the worst of the 2 with the first one being the best. The story is just...awful. Definitely a rent. Gameplay is great so is the sound, controls are basically the same if you played the first one, lots of gathering, stealth is just like MGS. Terribly bland.characters

I am bewildered at how simply bad writing could turn a beloved franchise and the whole community against itself. There are so many things fundamentally wrong with the game I can’t even point out one and say this is the problem here: my personal issues were with the poor writing, with inexistent character development, with inconsistencies between how the story was presented in the trailer and the final product, with how contradicting the plot was, with being forced to play an insignificant character you were just introduced to, with how character progression was managed from the first game, with inconsistent message, with misleading presentation of the game pre-release, with lackluster ending that undermines the purpose of the whole journey, with unnecessary sex scenes, cheap plot devices and slight character remodels that served to further the game’s message with disregard to characters and plot. I am sad to admit that this game has been more than a disappointment from the first part and this makes me question whether I trust any further products Naughty Dog puts forth. I give it a 2 only for the fantastic job from the technical department; 0 for characters, story, ending and message. Expand

When I played the game I was pretending to have a really good story and a comfortable final with Ellie and Joel. And it was a completely bad idea to introduce a character that never gonna be important like the doctor from the fireflies or Abby and her friends. If Naughty Dog introduce some new infected to the game that was a good idea but killed one of the main character that is a completely bad idea . Taking into consideration the first game, this is one of the worst games I have ever played. The whole thing was a message trying to push an agenda. Nothing made sense, the way Joel dies, the ending Ellie gets, this game is just awful.

The Last of Us is my favourite game.

Uncharted 2 is a top 3 game, and the rest of the Uncharted series on my top 10 list. So I hold ND in VERY high regard. To say I was excited for TLOU 2 is an understatement. To say I was excited for TLOU 2 is an understatement.

I knew going in I would not be playing as Joel. I wasn´t in love with the idea - but I was fine with it. I liked the Ellie parts in the original and played the expansion - so it was all good.

What made the original my favourite game is simple: Atmosphere and Story. I loved the gameplay mechanics and pacing of course, but the overall atmosphere with that relationship at the core, that's what elevated it to the top.

The sequel has none of the magic of the first.

The atmosphere is just depressing. The way violence is portrayed will make many uncomfortable, but it did not bother me. But it was all just so depressing.

If the story was the magical ingredient of the first game - it is the undoing of this game.
    It's also depressing. Boring even.
There is a central character that I did not like at all; Had no empathy for and I would go as far as to say I disliked - intensely.
To put the cherry on top of this cake of misery, I was then forced to play as this character.

i'm sure the developer had some profound vision of lessons the player is supposed to draw from the game. What is the point of revenge and violence? - put yourself in the shoes of others or something or other. I don't know.

What this game taught me is that playing as a character you don't like is no fun - no matter the lessons.

So to end this - this game was not made for the fans of the original.
ND has a different audience in mind. It makes me sad.

    Very disappointing.

The gameplay was never the best. The
graphics were just fine. But the game was one of the best of that era.

The story in this game feels empty compared to before, the emotion has been replaced by endless violence. The new characters have no depth, I never felt any real connection between them while I played. Characters would die and be forgotten for the rest of the game before you really even knew who they was. The only time they did a decent job building a relationship in this game was between Abbie and Owen. And the problem was I didnt really care because of the weird order they told this story in. I understood that they wanted us to see things fromthe other perspective (Abbies) to show that everyone can be the villian or the hero in a story like this. But that was the only message and it was drilled home for 30 hours. The game needed to build Ellies relationship alot more to make me care. The game needed to make me care about Abbie BEFORE she takes her golf lesson. Because after that playing Abbie was a massive depressing chore. 30 of hours of gameplay and cut scenes and at the end I couldnt care less about anyone or anything. I shouldnt get to the end of the game and not care, not this game. The only thing that I wanted was at the end was to get my revenge and they didnt even allow us that!

Gameplay and Graphics are fine (Nothing special) but was never the reason I played the game. Just a massive let down. Played for 30 hours and the entire game is just forcing you to do stuff you dont want to do and then makes you feel **** about it. Lucky to get a 2/10 from me but I felt generous.

I can't believe ND had done this. Game-play and graphics -wise the game is top notch, however the most important things about ND games, which are the story and characters, are completely butchered. They are trying to create a realistic gaming experience while at the same time manipulate the narrative so that the players might be on the side of a particular character (Abby). But it does not make for a compelling and intelligent story. Simply put, the characters are unlikable morons. Even Ellie and Joel are dumb in this game. Let's start off with the pros. The graphics and scenery are amazing in this game. Everything looks extremely well polished and is just pure eye candy from the interactive environment to just the way everything literally just deserves an absolute bravo. The gameplay itself is much like the last of us one band hasn't changed all that much but I didn't feel that this was a downside due to the fact I liked the last of us one in the way that it felt and handled. I know that can be a bit tipsy because some people say it should run smoother or aiming should be better but overall I felt like it was just fine. I hate to admit it though but that storyline is awful. I tried so hard to like the story and tried to approach the game with an open mind but ultimately in the end it did nothing for me. If anything I walked away from the game feeling totally unsatisfied with the character development, general storyline, and not necessarily the events that took place but how the events took place in the game. There is just too many things that didn't make sense to me and overall I feel it was a bad decision for the developers to go this route. I get the whole concept of trying to do something new and edgy but there is a way to do it and I just felt like the developers missed the mark completely on really capturing the spirit and soul of not only the players but the characters that pulled the players into the game as well. The reason why I am giving it a low score is just because I was so enveloped and immersed in the story of the first one but absolutely felt nothing but frustration and no payoff in the end. I really understand that a story doesn't have to go my way and it honestly shouldn't it should be up to the directors and writers with however they see. But video games just like movies are here to entertain their audience and me personally I did not find any entertainment out of the story that I was hoping would really incite my inner emotions and leave me feeling like I played a masterpiece like The first game but unfortunately that feeling never came out. If you want to play this game then I wish you luck. If you did play this game and actually liked it for what it was and truly enjoyed it I'm not only happy for you but I am jealous of you. I can honestly say that there is no put way I will play this game again and it breaks my heart that it went this way. Expand

I’ve read elsewhere that this game would have been better served with two separate run throughs - an Ellie primary with a conclusion, and an Abby post finish that brings nuance (if you wish to revisit). For me, pretending that this is the case is the only way the disappointment dampens.

    Other points
*Playing as Abby halfway through the game for hours on end was a gut punch and not what I signed up for. No wonder the embargo hid this aspect of the game.

*On the social justice stuff - why did it have to be so in your face. Cool, Ellie is gay. Fine. We explored this aspect in the first dlc. Pushing it so hard this time with a trans arc for a major side character? Much of this story was written for an echo chamber that will never play the game.

ND should get a lynching for the frivolity crap they've shown us. Do they really hate their own created heroes? Or they so weak that they only want to become popular with a scandal? Definitely NOT for such productions.

Naughty dog writes the story while watching GoT TV series. Starts good and then plunge into the abyss as soon as you started enjoying the game. Killing off previous main character right away after the introduction is a shame. There are too many plot holes in the story. Why the infected started to swarm Jackson area. How come Abby timing is so perfect that she met Joel. Jesse survive travelling alone from Jackson to find Ellie and Dina just to get shot by Abby because he rush head first. Ellie could've prevent the dramatic chase of Nora by clearing her surrounding, I've been watching Nora suspicious hand but how come Ellie did not notice it? She sneak into the hospital alone, This character is supposed to be super vigilant. She did not have to Kill Owen and Mel, by making distance from them and separating them to write Abby location but no, we need dramatic death and many more just so naughty dog can show us some brutal deaths and show that our main and loved character is a bad guy. However even then it still has many many faults - the gameplay is far too repetitive and artificially drawn out. The writing is cringe worthy awful with plot holes the size of the grand canyon and I found myself bored and completely disinterested through large parts of the game.

But the main issue here is that players aren't playing the sequel to The Last Of Us for the graphics, heck they aren't even playing it for the gameplay - they are playing it for the story and characters. And this is where it all comes crashing down like a hurricane.

Aside from what actually happens and what the player is forced to do and play as, it cannot be denied by the developer the sheer amount of deception created in the build up to the release.

Players expected a certain experience and through the developer's selfish actions they seemingly set out to ensure the exact opposite of this would happen.

As a stand-alone game titled something like Abby's Tale set in it's own unique game world, this would have been a more than acceptable game. The problem is, it isn't and as a 'The Last Of us' game, that is unforgivable and it fails spectacularly.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’m giving it two points because of the graphics and the gameplay/crafting. Those three things were awesome in this game! I was hesitant to purchase this game after reading the leaked spoilers, however “The Last of Us” is my favorite game of all time therefore I owe it to Naughty Dog to purchase Part 2. I will not go in depth since A lot of the things I want to talk about, a lot of reviews have already addressed them. I think I’m in the minority when I say that playing as Abby is really fun. I love her character model because it’s intimidating and she’s honestly a bad@$$! I don’t like the role she plays (NOT AT ALL) but I think it’s Naughty Dogs fault for making a majority of the player community dislike her. What I’m trying to say is that It sucked playing as the person that killed your favorite video game character of all time BUT I didn’t really care much for the story after that event so I tried to close that out and just have fun with the gameplay. The Last of Us Part 2 was a terrible story compared to the first game which is why I’m giving it such a low score. These games are pretty much defined by how good the story is and if the story is horrible then the game will pretty much be horrible as well. To finish it off I was extremely disappointed how this game turned out and really let down knowing that this is the sequel to my favorite game ever. Nonetheless I will always thank Naughty Dog for making “The Last of Us” and setting the standard that high! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is such a dissapointment, its sickening. Coming from the first game which i think has some of the very best characters, story, atmosphere, moral dilemmas, storytelling, pacing, gameplay and many other pros and some cons, with the story and the way its told being the best part, THE LAST OF US PART II IS SO AWFULLY TELLING AN ALREADY MEDIOCRE AT BEST (but still **** compared to first one) STORY (best part about the story being the flashbacks those were actually really well executed) THAT MAKES ME SICK TO THE POINT I WANT TO THROW UP. I somehow played the ENTIRE game, even though i was HEAVILY bored throughout alot of it simply because the characters were so uninteresting - no character in this game had any development whatsoever. Whoever thought that the boring surface level chemistry lacking relationship between Dina and Ellie or Owen and Abby or her dad or whatever could ever replace the beauty of Joel and Ellies relationship, derseves nothing but to get fired and banned from ever touching anything good ever again. NOW lets talk about what i dont like about the game -
So, the game has several messages throughout, some being about empowering women and some being about representing lgbt but i dont care much about those because i felt they were forced down my throat without being relevant for the story.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

Also, the narrative in this game that 'violence and revenge is bad' is simply outrageously backwards, this is set in a post-apocalyptic America where violence is the only way to survive.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The only good part of the game is graphics, so big thumbs up to the graphics team, you are the only reason I'm giving the game any points... And by the way, I'm sick and tired of people saying "You need to grow up" or "You're not intelligent enough to understand the meaning of the game"... These are the only things fan boys can bring up against negative critics, and actually they are the ones that just simply can't accept the fact that the game is full of mistakes, on almost every level. Don't get me wrong, I am a big Naughty Dog fan, I LOVE the Uncharted series too, and I absolutely loved the first episode of the Last of Us, and it's always going to be one of my favourite games, but at this point I just wish Part 2 was never even made. But then again, this is only MY OPINION, if there are people that actually like it, I'm honestly happy for it and wish them a lot of fun playing it, but as for me I will just pretend that there is only one Last of Us game.

Edit: After submitting it I realized that this is not a "proper" review where I say my opinion on the game and mention the things I didn't like and why didin't I like them, but everything that I could say about it was already written by about 70% of the negative reviews on this page, but here is a quick going through: I understand, that this is not a "typical fun" game, where everyone survives and the game ends with a happy ending, and at some point I even like it, it just makes it even more realistic. (Now, if you are going to keep reading, you'll run into some spoilers, so if you don't want anything spoiled, click away!).

I think it's safe to say that Joel was almost everyone's favourite (or second favourite, after Ellie) character. At some point I even understand why they killed him, because this is the "motivation" for Ellie to go on a revenge mission. But what's bothering me is that they did it in such a disrespectful way, and also in like the first hour of the game (or second, depending on how fast you play it). But let's just say that even this can be understandable (not for me though). After this, at a certain point in the game, you have to play with Abby... Even if you somehow can manage to gather the strength to continue playing the game, you are most likely going to do so with absolutely no fun. I know it was said that "this game is not about fun", but there shouldn't even be parts that players absolutely hate, there is a big difference in those two things. Even if they made an explanation about Abby's story, to make it understandable why she did what she did, most players won't really care, because they will look at her with hatred and will have absolutely no fun playing with her nor any willing to learn how to like her character. And just the whole story, about Ellie going through hundreds of men and women, killing all of them just so that she can get to Abby, and then in the end when she could take her revenge she actually leaves her alive, it just makes the whole game pointless, because everything you did, everything Ellie end everyone else has lost was for absolutely nothing.

Again, this is only MY OPINION, You don't have to feel the same way, as a matter of fact, if you feel otherwise, I'm genuinely happy, but don't start with all that "You don't like the Last of Us Part 2, so you must be an idiot, who is not mature or intelligent enough to understand the story" or the "You only say bad things about it because that's what everyone else does".

The biggest issue for me was Ellie’s journey was terrible and riddled with plot holes. Someone needs to tell me why, after mowing down tons of bad guys who literally had nothing to do with Joel’s death Ellie suddenly has second thoughts when she reaches her targets who took part in the killing of Joel. Oh no I had to beat a lady with a pipe to get the info I needed.. take a look at the morality here. I’m what... I just stabbed a fire poker through a guys head who was just doing his job and walking his dog. Immersion never happens for me as I never found Abby a like able character.. Joel’s decisions leading to his death made no sense, he wouldn’t trust a group of people he didn’t know. The ending had 0 satisfaction, as Ellie makes some decisions that are questionable and never gets her revenge. And what developer intentionally makes a sequel he knows his fans will dislike makes no sense

I came away from the game just feeling sad. Not because of the heavy handed guilt trip that is put on you by forcing you to kill characters and then trying to make you feel bad, but because it doesn't really make sense. All of this pain and anguish for what? To torture characters and motivate me? Motivation is pointless when a couple of hours later the game works overtime to destory that motivation and just make you confused and leaves you just wanting to leave the situation. I don't think this story is putting across what they thought it would. I just felt extremely let down by the reactions characters have when just before the cut scene we were murdering dozens of people and animals. Maybe an action game where you are required to kill isn't the place to force shame onto the player for playing the game.

The other parts of the game are great. It is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen and the acting in most of the game is fantastic. The story just ruins the overall experience and the legacy of the first game and destroys any desire that I would have to play through it again. I wish they would have done things differently. I really do.

Overall it made me sad and made me disinterested in any further Last of us titles. The investment that I had in that world and the characters is gone.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It’s hard for me to express just how completely and utterly disappointing this game is - not just as at the gratuitous violence that serves no purpose other than to embellish trite narrative themes, but at the audacity and self indulgence of the writers who think their work is some form of sophisticated art. And it’s all the more disappointing given the brilliance of the first game.
Credit is first due to the passionate workers who created a technically stunning game. This is one of the best looking PS4 games to date, and a taste of what next generation graphics have in store. I know creating this game came at a huge cost – both emotionally, mentally, and physically – to the artists, animators and developers at naughty dog. We’re all aware of the stories behind the awful working conditions at this studio and the high attrition rate for employees/contractors. If only the director of this game was half as concerned with the working conditions of his vulnerable workers as he was with using a videogame to promote militant feminist power fantasies (see the comically muscular Abby and the pregnant women scaling heights and fighting). Systemic oppression comes in many forms; management at this studio should focus on making their environment a better place to work in for all before taking on the tall order of ridding the world of its social ills.
A game of this kind lives and dies by its story. The first game was beloved because it was a well-told story. It had relatable and interesting characters, and you were able to see their growth. It wasn’t a story designed to “subvert our expectations”, and it didn’t need to be. None of that can be said for this story. By and large, the story is trite and surprisingly juvenile in contrast to the prequel. Yes, violence begets violence. Yes, none of these characters are completely innocent in the broken world which they inhabit. So what, exactly?
The game starts off early with the death of Joel. He is brutally murdered by this new character called Abby (whom he initially saved during their first encounter), while Ellie is pinned down to watch in horror. This happens in the beginning of the game, without much context. For many, Joel is a beloved character and rightfully so. We come to love Joel by design through the first game. Having seen him lose his daughter in the introduction, we empathize with his struggle to find something to live for. We understand his decision to rescue Ellie after that long journey, who was taken unconscious to be operated on and killed. Let me make this abundantly clear to the director of this game: there is no moral basis that would justify killing a child without their consent, and children by definition cannot consent to such an act – regardless of what results such acts might bring about. Joel’s act to save her is not morally ambiguous, unless you’re morally depraved.
Joel, however, is made to answer for the sins of his past in the dumbest way possible. Leaving aside questions of morality, we’re supposed to somehow believe that a veteran with decades of experience in this world would somehow rescue strangers, follow them to their encampment outnumbered, and then tell them his name. This is the same Joel who could spot an ambush while driving a mile away. This is the same Joel who wouldn’t rescue a stranger in the introduction of the first game. The writing is inconsistent and beyond amateurish, and coupled with the unceremonious way they killed off the leading character, I really struggle to understand the creative decisions made here. That’s not to say there isn’t a right way to kill Joel. You can kill off a strong character without making them a bumbling idiot (see Gus in Breaking Bad). It’s obvious that Neil Druckmann had neither the talent nor skill to fully realize such a scenario. Instead, the director is more pre-occupied with inserting a character into the game bearing his likeness just to spit on Joel’s body. It’s no wonder videogames aren’t taken more seriously as art.
So this introduction is what sets the stage for Ellie’s revenge story. And it, too, is not a compelling story in the least bit. She kills hundreds and hundreds of people, brutally, I might say, only to find that she suddenly forgives Abby, because that’s what Joel would have wanted. She ends up losing everything, including her loved ones and two fingers, and the player comes to find that the dozens of hours they spent playing the game were all in vain. Oh, but you see, you didn’t realize that violence only begets more violence and nobody is innocent in this world. Don’t you feel bad for killing the dog we made you kill? The writers actually believe we would be impressed by the 9th grade attempt at moral philosophy. It’s such a miserable, nihilistic, and pointless story that serves no purpose, I can see why the studio refrains from using the word “fun".

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Absolute failure of storytelling. If I were to rate this game purely off of storytelling then I'd give it a 0/10, but the graphics were undeniably amazing so I'll give it a 2.

Now, let me elaborate. In a nutshell, the entire foundation of The Last of Us is the father-daughter relationship between Joel and Ellie and how they grew and developed together throughout the course of the game. It was the glimmer of hope for Joel's second chance at having a daughter, it was Ellie finally finding someone who cared after her and never left her, the theme of the light in the darkness shown through Joel and Ellie's relationship that made The Last of Us so amazingly good.

The Last of Us Part II then proceeds to take a massive crap on everything the game was founded upon, and not only kills the beloved main protagonist Joel in the beginning, but also completely rushes it with absolutely no build up at all. It resembled that of a 12 year old forcing an amateur plot point into a story that just doesn't fit. After the death of Joel the entire game is a series of over the top violence with the only intent of hateful revenge, thus making you begin to extremely dislike Ellie by the end of the game. The ending gives no pay-off and there's no character development at all. If anything the characters regressed. That "light in the darkness" theme of the first game is completely ripped out of the second one, thus butchering everything the first game stood for. To top it all off, the only Joel and Ellie interactions we witnessed were in flashbacks, which ended with Ellie hating Joel and telling him she can't ever forgive him. Again, crapping all over the original games foundation.

The feminist/LBTQ agenda is also very apparent in this sequel, and it seems obvious to me that Neil Druckmann traded out quality storytelling for an in-your-face preachy message, and used The Last of Us as his soap box.

This story ends with no hope, no redemption, no more Joel and Ellie, no love, nothing. It's not even bitter-sweet, it's just bitter. The first game ended bitter-sweet, but it was perfectly executed. This sequel felt rushed even though they had 7 years to perfect it.

If anything this sequel shouldn't have had anything to do with revenge, but should have picked back up where it left off with the lie that Joel told Ellie at the end of the first game, and became a story of Ellie learning to forgive Joel and further strengthening the bond between the two.

Like I said, this doesn't feel like a story, but feels like Neil Druckmann's soap box. An absolute failure in storytelling and a disappointment to fans.

Good graphics but horrible story. Also misleading trailers in advance make it sort of a scam.

When I started playing the role of Abby, I felt really bad. Play with the person I hated most in the game. And the fact of having to face Ellie in the role of Abby, I felt disgusted.

The Last Of US, never again. Bad story

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To start this game is a straight slap In the face to fans who fell in love with the original game. The characters are shallow and unplayable at times. The story is a train wreck from start to finish with only a few redeeming factors, and the new characters introduced are forced onto the player so heavily, it’s annoying. The first games story was so deep, characters were lovable, combat and fights felt smooth (at the time) the world was built so beautifully it felt you were there. Now what did TLOU2 do...well little to nothing. The story to start is a mess, so many plot holes you can’t figure out what is what at times. Characters who’s motivations and goals are confusing and at times can make no sense. The world is way more linear than the first which is bad, because the story than forces itself onto you without you being able to breath. On the other hand the graphics are a clear upgrade, as they should be for it being over 7 years since the release of TLOU1, the combat feels smooth and fights are intense, like the first game encounters with infected are thrilling and get your heart racing. The fighting is a good way to take your mind of the disaster that is the main story.

Moving on to the ending, Ellie is finishing her long and seemingly pointless journey, to confront someone who caused her immense pain. Throughout the story you feel hate, anger, sadness, throughout the deaths of Joel, Jesse, and the harm to Tommy and Dina, and Ellie, you think at the end you will get to release these emotions...but then the writers take a questionable route, and let the antagonist (Abby) leave with her life. Ellie then goes home to Dina but is found that they left with there son JJ. The credits roll and you begin to question everything. During the credits the only thing you can think was “what was the point.” What was the point of this story being told? Was it to make the player angry? Was it to make the player uncomfortable? I don’t know, and not many others do either. Overall the graphics are a beauty to behold, combat is tight and fluid, landscape is beautiful, but the sheer amount of flaws in the story and character motivations makes this game feel unplayable at times. If you enjoyed TLOU1 for its story this game is not for you. Graphics-9/10

Instead they try to make you pity the killer and force you to play as her as well. (FOR 10 HOURS!!) overall I wanted to skip half of the game and just get it over with. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game has excellent combat and graphics, but the story is completely out of logic. I’m not heartbreaking by Joel’s death, but I’m frustrated by those contradictory actions both Ellie and Abby took in the game. When Abby saw her all friends are killed how could she bear not to kill Abby, instead she left them alive, but for Joel, she didn’t even hesitate. Abby also made some ridiculous decision like go to the scar base to rescue Lev from his mother who was tripped by herself to death, I almost laughed when I see that, all the actions come in vain and she had to kill hundreds of soldiers for that decision. And then after Ellie killed all the friends of Abby, she found out Mel was pregnant, she felt guilty and Abby also left her alive. How could someone with such sin still go after Abby and then again, she ended up saving Abby and lost two fingers! What a joke story! Is this story a dark comedy or something? What kind of chaotic story, even worse than GOT season 8. Expand

using excuses about lack of tolerance and bs like such. If your story and characters are trash, no one gives a **** about them being straight, or white or ****ing purple. stfu. Just acknowledge that a buff ugly girl kills a beloved character for no reason and then becomes playable and then

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The problem of TLOU2 is that they have been selling it to you as "the best story ever written" for months, I do not dispute that its mechanics are excellent, that's why I did not give it a 0 in metacritic, but its script seems written by a **** amateur, riddled with inconsistencies and plot holes and with a ridiculous ending at least, that Ellie is a lesbian or stops being a lesbian would have nothing to do if it were not for the fact that they force the character to rub it every 2 minutes by the face, Life is Strange in that aspect it does it INFINITELY better than TLOU2, and the fact of killing Joel a main and beloved character, as if he were a stuffed character only because he does not represent the LGBT figure and the **** that they want to make people bad ... that disappointment. After playing the game the first hour was very intense and full of excitement and get you hooked into the story but the rest of the game is pure disappointment.
I've already finished the game and i regret every penny i paid for

This game is gr8 on its graphics, its music and dynamics. Still it's more a test than a pleasure to play it. There are many parts that you literally get killed a couple of times on purpose as you don't give a fu** about the character you are playing.

I really don't know where the 10/10 94/100 score came from but now we know this "critics" scores are worth a s**t.

Mechanics +1, although gameplay itself remained 95% the same.
And the story... I've played last of us remastered for the first time only 1 month ago, and I remember what great feelings I had ending it. Yes Joel is a jerk killing all those people and the end, but he is our jerk. He goes for it to safe a girl he and we truly began to love and by the way who was not asked permission to be killed. In part 2 they show us how great of a city Jackson is letting people in, how Joel is a good man sacrificing himself to help a stranger, how Ellie feels bad as **** killing people for the sake of revenge in her path. On the opposite they show us what awful decisions wolfes make with all that torture, endless killings, not letting people in. And Abby one of there's best soldiers, even here friend tolled her she is an awful person. On here way she has ZERO regrets for any lives taken and at the beginning she tortures Joel not for the sake of getting iinformation from him but for pleasure. And they want us somehow to understand and show sympathy towards Abby????? I hated every seconds of playing her and then found myself hating the game itself.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
