The world feels much more open and natural, you don’t clearly see the only way you can exit an area to progress and areas aren’t little boxed in segments like the first game. However the story was severely lacking and as someone who adored the first game I couldn’t be more disappointed. Traits and behaviours of characters that we already know are either suspended in order to further the plot, or they’re changed until the characters are barely even likeable. The trailer was heavily misleading by suggesting that Ellie was the predominant character in the game when you spend half the game playing as someone else. Instead of getting you attached to characters and grow a bond with them, which was done in the first one with Tess, Bill, Henry and Sam, where they all felt like real people that Joel and Ellie had connections with. This game gives you characters just to torture them or kill them without even addressing it and as this is done from the start it means as you meet new people you don’t even bother getting attached because you already know the outcome or you expect they’ll be dismissed just as easily. The inclusion of LGBT+ characters, as well as strong female characters that aren’t stereotypically feminine, was refreshing and would have been done well had the plot not made you negatively view a lot of characters or situations. The first half seemed bearable albeit extremely slow, a lot of exploring and looting with little character interaction similar to the first one or any interesting plot development. In the first game each area had a ally or enemy to focus on that made it memorable and stopped any areas feeling like they were dragging, part 2 massively lacks that and while you’re next to people in a lot of the game it feels very lacklustre.

The second half of the game was almost unbearable, to the point as someone who loved the first game I was bored and I was tired and I was upset. I finished this game wishing it wasn’t made, it was just a 25 hour game where you didn’t get to spend time with people you actually liked, and when you were finally Ellie related again you regretted it. Instead of making a game about revenge that included meaningful connections, new allies, and a more in-depth look into this version of a dystopian society, what we got instead was a game that took away anything that motivated the player to continue, and stripped them of anyone they could grow to like or enjoy as a character and instead left me feeling utterly done with the series and so distraught over the game that I don’t understand why they made it at all because they clearly don’t care about the fans or the experience for them.

But unlike the first game, where a selfish decision to not lose a bond encapsulates our human need in brilliant simplicity, this entry fails to represent meaningful choices in new and original ways, it fails to offer levels of engagement masterfully delivered by the first, and with bad pacing, frustrating and unrealistic character arcs, and an end-message that has been said the whole world over, this entry fails fundamentally at offering something as meaningful as our original journey with Joel and Ellie. 2/10 for graphics, acting, and the infection. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So I just finished the game. Wow, I feel betrayed. I lost the interest in the game whit Joel’s death. Time passed and I was playing the game just to complete it. While playing as Abby I lost it even more but gain more interest when they “killed” Tommy. I was hyped for how the game was evolving. When I got the the second to last fight of Ellie and Abby, I was shocked with the way they let Ellie live(I loved that). When Ellie went back for Abby I was hyped, waiting for the final fight. Once I got there and completed everything, fought Abby and I was expecting her death but Ellie let her go. That was a complete dissapointment for me, I felt like I wasted my entire life waiting on this game to basically get screwed by a **** ending by Ellie letting Abby go. Story was terrible, terrible start and terrible ending. Gameplay is awesome and the game looks beautiful. The game was not worth the wait. It’s not worth playing at all, I would’ve rather watched the gameplay on Youtube than playing the whole game and feeling like crap. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Expand

This game is not telling a story it's trying to push a message. A poor one at that and it disregards all of feelings we had towards the existing characters.

Remember if someone kills your dad you'd best just get over it.

The reason players don't care for abby
is not because they're bad and they don't see her pain, it's because Abby isn't a part of our tribe, i.e. Joel and Ellie. Players want her dead and she rightfully should be. This game is so unfulfilling it's like having to sneeze but you can't.

This story should have ended with the first game.

Oh and all those disingenuous 10 out of 10 scores, that's disgusting.

A video game should only make someone angry if a villain is so compelling and interesting that the player actually starts hating them. (Red Dead Redemption 2 did this perfectly.) While the gameplay is still fun, it has not evolved enough past TLoU1 to warrant the story being as terrible as it is. I'm amazed by the art team that was dedicated to this project.
Hands down, the graphics are the most amazing aspect of this game.
The gameplay has significantly been improved and feels fluid and clean and most of all, FUN.

Now the reason I have to give this game a negative score.

    How DARE you Naughty Dog.
    How DARE you Neil Druckmann.

This bastardized story you gave us isn't even close to what people want out of a game.
And no, you don't HAVE to give people the story they want, nor should you be expected to deliver a product that you feel isn't right.
But how dare you take the story TLOU gave us, and then ruin it with this sequel.
Joel died. Fine, if that's what must happened to get the shock factor and emotional turmoil across to the player, you did what you had to do.
But to then turn around, and force the player to play as Abby?
To force the player to walk in their shoes in an attempt to gain sympathy points for this monster you created?
    It's disgusting.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is beautiful, I won’t lie, but the trailer was deceiving. The trailer made it look like Ellie and Joel would play through the game together, when that doesn’t happen obviously. I understand why Joel was killed I wasn’t expecting it so soon though. I think everyone expected Joel’s death. I absolutely despised having to play as Abby, Joel’s murder. Like honestly, if they expected anyone to see Abby as a human they were fooling themselves from the start. I hated playing as Abby the entire time, to the point that I was hurrying through it because this story isn’t supposed to be hers. In my opinion the story was rushed and there was way to many movie scenes, I didn’t really feel connected to the story. The ending was **** and left on a cliffhanger so that if they feel like making a third game they can. Personally I won’t waste my money or time on a 3rd game. I’m upset that this game didn’t meet the hype for me. This game disrespected Joel’s character and didn’t even give us the closure for it. It honestly just rubbed salt in the wound by making us play as Abby for 10 hours of the game and then on top of that, having to fight Ellie as Abby as well. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Joel looks Tommy in the eyes while cleaning out a guitar, telling him of the events that unfolded in a hospital in which Ellie was supposed to undergo surgery. Consequently, it would have meant the cost of Ellie’s life in exchange for a cure. At least, this is the very first scene of The Last of Us: Part 2. “Jesus Christ Joel…what did you do?” Tommy asks. Tommy can only think of the past events that unfolded in Joel’s and Ellie’s quest, as questionable by stating later in the scene, “I can’t say I’d have done differently…”. Earlier Joel simply replies and reassures Tommy that “I saved her.”. Joel was caught between an extremely controversial decision that was eventually being controlled and manipulated by individuals who wanted to fix everything an infection has brought with it, ever since its emergence. Such examples of these individuals are the surgeon – Abby’s Father, the Fireflies leader – Marlene, and even Joel himself. However, Joel was the only person that really wanted to do right by her, by saving her from her inevitable doom. As a Father, this makes perfect sense if it were to be considered that Joel’s feelings for Ellie have grown to a level of that for a daughter. However, having completed part 2, it only seems that The Last of Us is the only significant story out of the duology that can be taken seriously because it was the only one the made absolute sense. The analysis has begun.
Yes, I am stating that The Last of Us: Part 2 does not make sense. Despite it being an amazingly directed, animated, and immersive story, it lacks real legitimate purpose, and proceeding events truly hurt the story’s foundation. Why is there even a part 2, to the happy ending story we had received in the first part? Or why did the events unfold the way they did…when realistically…it is plot immortality that was simply handed to some dead surgeon’s daughter – Abby. In self-defense for Joel and Ellie, Abby’s father was the one who killed himself for not allowing Joel to leave peacefully. Abby’s father was the one who stood in front of Joel with a knife, with intent to kill him. As a consequence, Joel Killed Abby’s Father….and this should’ve been the end of it in part 1. It appears at first that the story is going by smoothly, however, things take a sharp turn when the story is dropped off on Abby. The biggest problem with Abby is the immense amount of plot immortality she has been given. I am not sure why she even exists! It is a bit outrageous how she simply and miraculously runs into and is helped by Joel and Tommy. Her entire purpose was to find and kill Joel, but the fact that the plot just hands Joel over to Abby is ridiculous. This is the hugest blow The Last of Us: Part 2 takes to itself. This is primarily the reason why the story can not be taken seriously. Additionally, it counters the fact that Abby eventually stopped pursuing vengeance after several years have passed. She discusses this with Owen throughout one of the flashbacks she has in the story. So, even after all those years, it is a possibility to reconsider revenge…but at what cost? Abby took Joel’s life in exchange for all of her friends’ lives. It just comes to show that Abby has little to no real character development. She is selfish, and extremely naïve. How can she put all of her friends’ lives at risk by taking the life of an innocent man who was simply trying to save his “daughter’s” life? It is simple, she never took into consideration the immense amount of value Ellie had for Joel, and vice versa. She naively puts herself into Ellies position and states that she would’ve wanted her dad to conduct the surgery, even if it took her life. But this isn’t about Abby, nor her Father! This was about Joel and Ellie….and The Last of Us: Part 2 shoots itself in the foot by taking this crucial fact away. Afterall, Abby with her huge guns for muscles and immense amount of plot immortality is miraculously handed Joel’s life, and she seizes the opportunity and takes her long-desired vengeance. Overall, the story wasn’t fulfilling in any way. No real sense of justice was achieved. I have lost myself, my family, and my purpose. The Last of Us: Part 2 held little to no real significance when it came to provide a purposeful story. Despite its quality, in both gameplay and storytelling…storytelling is vital when giving purpose to a story as immersive as this. (Immersive because it is a videogame after all.) The creator/author of The Last of Us: Part 2 threw away all his foundational and meaningful storytelling…for an addition that took everything away from his creation. The Last of Us: Part 2 is definitely one of the most overrated videogames of 2020…and it breaks my heart realizing this.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, the advancement in gameplay in TLOU2 is a big step up from it’s predecessor and I’ll give them props for this at least. The huge problem for me is the story. I could’ve understanded Joel’s death if it actually meant something in the end, but it doesn’t. Ellie ends up going for revenge after some encounters with Abby and killing everyone else that had a hand in his death, but as she’s drowning Abby, she has a flashback of Joel and lets go. It makes no damn sense and you’re forced to play as a character you hate for the latter half of the game. If this was the first game in the series, I would’ve been fine with it, but this game is a complete 180 from its predecessor and shows a massive disconnect between Naughty Dog and the fan base. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, the trailers sell a complete different game, it makes you think that this game is focused on Ellie and Joel, like the first one, but the reality is totally different. I feel fooled.

For me the story is very important in games and in this games it is so poorly written, the characters that we know and we love are not there, it feels like the person who wrote the first forgot who they were. Joel could spot an ambush a mile away but in this game he trusts everyone without a reason and he literally throws himself to the wolves.
The treatment he got was not deserved, he's just used as a plot device. All the things that made the part one so good are absent here, especially the ralationship between Joel and Ellie.

Tommy forced Ellie to search for revenge when she was over it because he couldn't get it himself?! is this really Tommy?

Then you are obligated to play as the Joel's killer for over 10h, and the game tries to force you into liking her giving you useless reasons that of course don't work.

And at the end surprise there is a message, Ellie lets Abby go because vengeance doesn't give you anything instead it makes you loose everything. Really? It's weird because Ellie didn't get vengeance but at the same time she lost everything and even if she had the intention to break the cycle of vengeance, how many people did she kill before the confrontation with Joel's killer? One more person to her victims wouldn't have made a difference, even better, the game would have ended with ,the only reason that made me play all these hours with Abby, vengeance for the undeserved death of Joel.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Going in with a huge bias for the franchise, Naughtydog has completely averted my expectations and made a shallow, meaningless and overall embarrassing follow up to one of the greatest games of this generation. Firstly Joel’s death was a given seeing as though the game is a revenge story so this was never a problem. but the way it was handled was completely disrespectful, seeing our favourite character, half of the heart of the franchise, killed for an ultimately pointless story hurts. The implementation of Abby’s 12 hour story line plays as padding for a longer playtime. Her slog of a story progressed nothing and is a back and forth mission for characters that are impossible to be connected too. This all leads to a ending the would not have stuck with me even if everything was handeled correctly. Naughtydog has successfully shat on a masterpiece and nosedived the crown jewel Playstation exclusive into the mud. They should be ashamed of themselves. That’s just my opinion though. Creo que el juego tenía mucho para dar pero se ha quedado como un mal sabor de boca para todos sus seguidores, NO HAY ALGUNA MANERA DE SACARME DE LA MENTE LO QUE ACABO DE JUGAR :c, DESEARÍA QUE TODO FUERA UN SUEÑO PORQUE NAUGHTY DOG ¿POR QUE LO PERMITISTE? !!! This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Visually, this game might be one of the greatest games I have ever played, right up there with Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the story Last of Us 2 took was absolutely garbage and included one of the most unsatisfying endings to a video game I have ever seen. Half the game is played by Joel’s killer and although the game tries to get the player to sympathize with her, it executed it poorly. The ending is also terrible as Ellie never even fulfills her revenge mission. The entire game is centered around Ellie gaining revenge for Joel’s death and for what? To let Abby go just because they need to “end the cycle of revenge”? Also, the trailers for the game intentionally deceive gamers to believe Joel is alive throughout the game when in fact they are all flashbacks. The only way this story could’ve been salvaged was to let the player play as Tommy instead of Abby and actually fulfilled Ellie’s mission. Instead, Ellie lost her father figure, partner, and two fingers to not even avenge Joel’s death. To think half of this game isn’t even played as Ellie (but as Joel’s murderer) is so unsatisfying. People who defend this garbage story line will say that you need to look at Abby’s POV and that “you just don’t get it” or make some ridiculous claim that you don’t like the game because of its inclusion of LGBT characters. That definitely is not the problem, the story is just legitimately terrible. Expand

I avoided all the leaks, and went into the game wanting to love it. What I got was a slap in the face to myself, and any other fans of the first game. Though the graphics are easily the best I think I’ve ever seen on the PS4, and the gameplay was improved, and very fun, it unfortunately does not make up for a horrible story. Naughty Dog betrays it’s fans by completely changing the characters in ridiculous ways, flooding the narrative with propaganda, leaving an insane amount of plot holes, and (quite literally once you play the game) spitting on the corpse of the best thing about the story. Naughty Dog has made an objectively horrible game, but since the game is loaded with forced, in-your-face diversity, ND just blows off honest criticism as “trolls” or “homophobes.”

Imagine if in the first 15 min of Spider-man 2, the daughter of some thug that Spider-man put in jail shows up, brutally kills Peter Parker, then the whole rest of the movie follows that kid as the protagonist, as she hunts down Mary Jane to kill her to. And then when people complain, they’re called bigots for some outlandish reason. THAT’S the Last of Us part 2

So much misfortune and sadness has been put in front of us these past months and one of the most anticipated games of the last 3 years, that game that will make us escape real life and truly immerse us in the story, delivered exactly what the players didn't want.
Trailers contained deceptive marketing to try and show that the game was going to be engaging, inspiring and emotional like the good old days on the first game. On the contrary you are left with a character you don't want to play as, depressed, and hating the game's plot. The only enjoyable moments were the flashbacks with Ellie and Joel and when you killed those bastards. My sympathies to the gaming developers of the game that worked their hearts out to make something visually beautiful, with amazing mechanics and fluid game-play, just to be ruined it with such a horrible story.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I wanted to like this game because I loved the first game. So I will start with what I liked about the game that at times made it redeemable: the voice acting was great, I enjoyed seeing relationships during the game, the music was great and the scenery/ graphics was beautiful. What I did not like: forcing us to play as Abby to show us her point of view/ trying to make us feel sympathetic for her. The game felt too long and I found myself saying multiple times “is this really still going? Can’t it end” I never felt like that in the first game but this game was painful to play. There was good points that if they had just stayed with it would’ve been better. I felt like they ruined previous characters traits and actions and it felt untrue to the characters. The game kept glitching especially during important scenes. I could go on for hours about it but I feel like this game ruined the first game and I’m choosing to pretend it didn’t exist. Everything I loved about the first game and the dlc for the first game was lost here. The game needed Bruce Straley I guess. My advise is not to play unless you like to be tortured throughout a game with what seems to be torture porn and lazy writing that.

Props to the voice actors and graphic designers though!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is by far the worst game I have played. It hurts me to write this as the first games holds a dear place in my heart. Here are my complaints:
1.) Joel: Joel somehow, though still going out of Jackson to hunt, has turned soft. He and Tommy both give out their names to a group of ARMED strangers and offer for them to come back to camp. It was heart-wrenching to see him be killed off in the first three hours, and the reasoning behind his death was terrible.
2.) Not only was it enough for ND to kill off Joel, they make you play as his killer for 10+ hours... no thank you. Nothing you could have done would make me like her. Especially since they have the game begin with his death. Maybe, if they had made Abby's gameplay first we would have gained more sympathy for her, but no.
3.) Tommy: So Tommy gets shot in the head by Abby in the theater, and somehow survives, it'd be hard enough to survive in today's world with that kind of injury, let alone a post apocalyptic. When we see Tommy again, he informs us that Abby is still alive. He wants us (Ellie) to go after her again ALONE after nearly dying by her earlier. We settled a life on the farm with Dina and her baby. Ellie doesn't want to go, and Tommy gets mad at her, it is so out of character for Tommy to act that way, it pains me to even watch that scene. They butchered his character along with the game.
Overview: Gameplay is great, graphics are phenomenal, but there it'll be a cold day in Hell before I play this game again. The first game was great, it's a shame to see Neil Druckmann ruin yet another series. The 7 year wait was not worth it.

The only thing that got this game points with me were the graphics. The controls were very much like the first game, but show their age. A little clunky at times, but alright. Now let's get to the big problem. The story. Jumping back and forth, from timeline to character; it was difficult to keep track of what was going on sometimes. But that was just the beginning. The characters were awful as well. Not the acting, to clarify, but the character writing. The characters from the first game made stupid choices that, if they were the same characters, they wouldn't have made. Abby, the new character, was completely unlikable and unrelateable, despite having a solid reason to be included in the story. The third problem is you can tell that there was an agenda, or another reason, the story was written and the characters made the way they were. Media, like games or movies or books, are made to enjoy and to escape reality. That all falls apart when someone is trying to shove their beliefs down your throat. This game is a prime example of this and explains why the story was so hard to follow. Too many agendas cause the story to be disjointed. It's such a shame, I've been waiting for the sequel since the first game was released on the ps3. It was a masterpiece of art. The main story, the dlc, graphics, it was incredible. Only to have the sequel reduced to someone's opinion on how the world should be. Please, let's return games to what they were and stop with the forcing of political and social beliefs. Those are some of the topics we are trying to escape when we play games. Expand

The games storyline does not allow you to properly build a connection or relation to her that would make playing as her better. Another issue I have with this game is the lack of multiplayer. Joel was so out of his role, that man that survived so long simply because being cautious and never trusting stranger, just gives all informations to a bunch of stranger which then buchered him.

not enough? i was already massivly frustrated and the next shock, that sex with abby which could be based on Greta Thunberg, had almost to throw up my lunch.

    graphic 6/10

    story 0/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First review I have ever written, but i have to do this to blow some kinda steam out. I was such a big fan of the first game, played it countless times. Loved everything about it. As a huge fan of the first game, this game just hurts. Characters you fell in love with, they lose. They lose everything. And it gets worse and worse for them as you play through all the way to the very end. And the characters you dislike, the villains, they win. And i just don't understand how this could have gone in the direction it did. Its disgusting. When i got to the end, it just felt like i was staring at a big fat game over loss screen that i could not go back to and win. I just lost and now i have to deal with that.

Its tragic because i actually loved a lot of things as i was initially playing the game. The gameplay, the graphics, the voice acting, the horror aspects, the musical score. So many things i was enjoying, but the story was so poorly written and executed that it was actually a distraction from these good features of the game.

So lets talk about this story. Its hard not to talk about the first game during this because the story of the first game got so much right. It built up characters that the players fell in love with and cared for. Characters that we could relate to, with flaws that we could understand. We witnessed the journey and shared the emotions of the various characters we encountered throughout the game. It was so enjoyable and because of this we were excited to see how this story could continue.

What we got instead was poorly written revenge story with shallow characters, that the players didn't know and never care for. We weren't built up to like any of the new characters. And the characters we came to love from the first suffer and they suffered as a result of not being the characters they were in the first. Players are forced to witness a tragic, gruesome death of one character as a result, and its a death that was hard to watch. Players wanted revenge just like Ellie. They wanted payback for this hurt. Instead we are forced to play as the killer for 8-10 hours? Forced to fight and try to kill Ellie and Ellie's friends? Then we let the killer get away and we leave Ellie with nothing.

Why? How does this make sense as a good story to tell to your fanbase who loved your first game so much?I understand for some stories, especially in a world like the last of us, characters will die. That's fine. But what was the point in this? We suffer, and these characters we care for suffer, and nothing enjoyable came from that whole experience. Many people dont care for whatever message this game was trying to communicate. It sacrificed too much to try to deliver this message and instead players are angry and hurt and NaughtyDog is going to have to deal with that.

I'm done talking about it. I'm going to redownload the first game now and experience what made the FIRST last of us great.

    Summary:
    Story: 0/10
    Characters: 2/10
    Gameplay: 8/10
    Atmosphere: 9/10
    Music: 9/10

    Overall: 2/10.

Disgusting on Naughty Dog's and Ne*l Dr*ckmanns part. False advertising, character destruction, absolutely horrible story, 10+ hours as an unlikable character who we never even heard of in the first game. Beautiful first game, sad to see it's legacy drowning in this garbage fire. Also testing to see if this posts on a high rating since it won't let me otherwise !!!!

While the game excels in graphics, environment, and some new (to this game..) mechanics. The story for this is absolutely horrible, it's like the people that made this weren't even aware of the first title, nor it's character's backstories.
I strongly disagree with the people leaving 0/10 scores though because while this game definitely doesn't deserve the 10/10's it's getting..it's not a

Story-telling was the key successful factor which made The Last of US become one the the best game in the past 10 years. The trailer never mentioned Abby will become the new protagonist in PART II. The trailer also try to mislead our customer to believe Joel shall rally again with Ellie to have another journey. I considered this kind of advertising as Scam. Thank you!

The small details like Joel at the museum and ellie playing the guitar make it a 2. Want to experience the 3rd person view of your attempted murder at the hand of your nemesis while you HAVE to be the one doing it.Play this game.if not, do yourself a favor and play Horizon zero dawn. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Being a naughty dog fan and loving the first last of us it breaks my heart to be making this review.

I've been waiting for this game for about 6 years now ever since I played first game in 2014 and I couldn't wait. The gameplay/graphics/mechanics was amazing. I was really immersed into the game and the new mechanics and the animations and everything was beautiful. It was easy to appreciate all the effort put into the details, scenery, cutscenes and the like, But when it comes to the story man.. At first, the story was doing fine but the part where you play as Abby, I just dreaded it and was so bored. It just didn't give me the same feeling I had in the first one. I just wanted to get over the Abby part and get to Ellie's already, basically hurrying up the looting and the like. I really hated Abby and honestly don't get how people sympathize with her and like her character, like I get where she's coming from, Joel killed her father, but then having to play her character for 10 **** hours and just pretend like she's not bad and sympathize with her. Let's not forget the fact that she has sex with a guy who has a girlfriend who's pregnant like wtf she's obviously cold-hearted and has no remorse on what she did and does. I at least tried to sympathize with Abby but nope it didn't work one bit. The first one was focused on Joel and Ellie's relationship and I loved the character development in the game, how Ellie would make lighthearted jokes during serious moments and stuff like that. But in the second one, however, it just disappoints you. The characters just don't feel the same anymore as the character development is not there. I understand that they killed Joel off and it didn't really stop me from playing, but obviously I was still very sad and bummed out by the fact that Joel dies, but the way naughty dog executed it is what made me dislike his death scene. The story is just infuriating and doesn't really make sense. The whole goal and point of the story, in the beginning, was to get revenge from Abby for killing Joel. You go through this really long journey and in the process, you lose some people like Jesse and more. Then you finally decide to back off and just live a normal life with your new family (Dina, and the baby), but then all of a sudden you decide to leave your family behind to kill Abby, but doing so will mean leaving Dina and JJ (the baby) behind. So skip to when you finally get caught up to Abby, instead of killing her you have a fight and it leads to her biting two of your fingers off, then you get the upper hand and almost drown her but decide not to because of a short flashback scene you remember. So now you let her go and go back to the house. Which is so stupid because she's basically back to square one where Abby's not dead, but Ellie gets the sad ending where she loses her family, her fingers, and Joel. Like WTF, it's so disappointing.

I was really looking forward to playing and was genuinely excited, but the story will just get you annoyed and get you stressed. It doesn't feel the same as the first game and suggest you just watch it instead of playing because trust me it will give you a hard time mentally and emotionally. Especially if you're someone who loved the first last of us, this will ruin it for you.

If you are a genuine fan of the original game, save yourself the time and do not waste your money on this hot garbage! Neil **** and his lap dog Rita have ruined an amazing story by folding to the way of sjw pandering politics. The graphics are Top notch don’t get me wrong, but the story and treatment of characters is Pathetic and lazy. I am bitterly disappointed with this but hey it’s 2020

I wasn't going to write this but, I had to because of this game being so close to my heart. When I see Last of us Part two, I am supposed to the sequel of Last of us. But what I see is a garbage story with OP graphics and a fine gameplay. If you have played Last of us, this is what you see when you play Last of Us Part 2: Brutual starting, pointless characters and a horrible ending.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
