    Великолепная игра. Достойное продолжение 1-й части. Совершенно не понимаю хейта к этой игре, сначала пройдите, потом критикуйте! История очень интересная, графика, окружение, проработка мелких деталей выше всякий похвал. Игра очень длинная, ощущение, что прошёл игру, 2 dlc, ещё и фильм посмотрел) В общем всем советую, не слушайте других, если понравилась 1-я часть, то смело берите эту,Великолепная игра. So much attention to detail the scenery is breathtaking and don’t get me started on the infected. The newest infected are cool yes but the stalkers!! Oh man those things are going to give me nightmares...they scare the living crap out of me!! BUT to where it fails...THE STORY!!! It was a MASSIVE disrespect to the fans! Yes we expected for Joel to die BUT NOT LIKE THAT AND RIGHT AWAY!! And the ending...okay okay I did feel bad for Abby at first because she was basically tortured and I KINDA...that a really WEAK KINDA felt bad for her...BUT...SHE NEEDED TO DIE!!!! The story, the writing, the characters ALL GARBAGE!! Sorry Naughty Dog you disappointed so man fans with...THIS.     Never usually post reviews but I feel the amount of hate this game is getting is unfair.

    I loved the game from start to finish with the gameplay and story keeping me hooked along with how amazing the game looks. Very well written and acted, I felt so immersed within the game throughout and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Very, very good game. It’s a shame of the reception it has achieved.

Оценка этой игры только 6.Ни больше,ни меньше.30 часов игры,где 20 часов это сбор лута-стелс-сбор лута со стелсом.Уже после 7 часов,геймплей становится душным и думаешь "скорей бы кат-сцена".Графика красивая,но не такая что бы я, в 2020 году сказал "ВАУ".Теперь сюжет.Это самое главное в этой игре.Он основан на мести,которая в итоге не осуществляется.То,что случилось в финале это НЕУВАЖЕНИЕ к такой древнейшей вещи,как месть.Ладно,если игроку не дают право выбора и Элли опустила Эбби,я хочу знать её мотив,почему она её отпустила....Но нет,Нил мать его Дракманн,хочет что бы игроки сами додумывали этот момент.Оценка 6.… Expand

    What an emotional rollercoaster ride. The story perfectly displays raw emotion in it's most primal form. The characters were all stellar. If you were expecting a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

    The game graphics is awesome, gameplay is awesome, but the story is garbage. Lazy writing, and the characters seems like they are not from the first Last of Us game. Joel being non-cautious is bullcrap. other characters are forgetable, and that big arm lady is bullcrap, how can you gain those muscles on women on post apocalyptic world? is she a cannibal?

    Naughty dog didn't chose an easy path, to please the player, but never in a game before i loved to disagree with what I was doing with my character, but I was driven by a story, like Moby Dick somehow, and not with the feelings of the game giving fake choices.
    They succeed what Walking Dead series tried to (last seasons at least), making disturbed characters that you can relate to, empathize to, never characters animation felt so alive, with great acting. Even Seattle has a story, visually.
    If the game isn't about Joël that much, TLOU 1 was more about Ellie at the end of the day (remember that we skipped 20 years of Joël's life). And now we face collateral damages her life (saved) engendered, literally in the skin of protagonists, which might be disturbing, but also exciting.
    It definitively not deserve a **** note because you wanted a story you expected .
    Now about the gameplay, to make short, the violence makes it so reel, it almost hurt when you get shot, I found it more immersive than many FPS. I'd wish a better menu though, Days gone was more intuitive with weapons. But hey, i didn't give a 10 :)
    And visually, it's stunning.
    A must have, if you are not bother to feel uncomfortable by the experience.

    Não gaste seu dinheiro ou compre em promoção ou algo do tipo, assista no YouTube mesmo são 11 horas de filme ruim mesmo.

TLOU2 improves in pretty much every category compared to the first opus and even dares to tell a story that leaves you conflicted at the end of it.     Certainly one of the best games I have ever played. This game amazes me every second I play. It visually perfect and really strong at its script. Thank you Naughty Dog and thank you Sony for such a great gift. It was worth waiting for a hundred percent.

El videojuego como tal es muy bueno, graficos excelentes, animaciones de 10, detalles soberbios y por estar pulido sin bugs todo bien hasta ahi pero no llega al 10 por los malos momentos de la historia por el relleno innecesario de gameplay con Abby y por tocar temas como la homosexualidad de Ellie y escenas de sexo que no eran necesarias, por matar a Joel de una manera ridícula, tonta y cruel, por mostrar a Joel como personaje jugable cuando en realidad no se se juega con El, por querer que empatize con Abby durante 10 horas a mas y no lograrlo y por el final que es un despropósito a las 30 horas de juego.
    Si no te intereza la historia seguramente tendrás un juego de 10 pero como estos juegos la historia pesa y mucho se a ganado el odio de la comunidad.    … Expand

    Loved the first game. Have given up after the first 8-9 hours on the second. It's nothing but a celebration of absolute depression and ultra-violence. Awful story. Characters that you hate. Violence that's way over the top. Messages rammed repeatedly down the player's throat. Naughty Dog has done everything to subvert the players' expectation of the sequel but as a result, have created aLoved the first game. Have given up after the first 8-9 hours on the second. I believe The Last Of Us Part II to be an amazing game , not just due to gameplay, which has been improved since the first game, but story-wise as well. Many people are upset about Joel's death, and the fact that ten hours is spent playing as Abby, but I believe this adds character growth, and shows that the game will not be pulling it's punches. It tells a dark story, set in a dark time, and shows that not everyone can have the happy ending they deserve. In terms of gameplay, imagine the first game, with more involved melee combat(being able to dodge, for example) and more crafting recipes available. The games stays fresh when switching characters, due to different weapons, different allies, different character abilities, and different melee combat. The difficulty settings allo each person to make the game's difficulty to their taste, allowing AI to be smarter or dumber, resource availability, player damage received and dealt, even the friendly AI can be modified to be more aggressive or passive. There are afew minor visual bugs I encountered, but they were easily fixed, but that is the only fault I encountered, and why I rate this game a 9.8 out of 10.… Expand

Aside from Ellie, Joel and Tommy, the characters weren't duly explored, which made me think "if they die now, I don't care" a lot. The message about revenge was also poorly conveyed, mainly because, once again, the story feels very artificial. Another bad aspect is the length. 20+ hours is too much for a first play in a game like this. It's unnecessarily dragged where it doesn't need to be. All in all, I wouldn't recommend.… Expand

    i just finished the game and it s great. don t go after those who say aberrations but many didn t play the game either. everything that happens in the game has a logic. the only thing i didn like was o female caracter with muscles that looks weird. but the game is so good so it doesn t matter anymore.

    I have no idea why everyone is trashing on this game I found everything about it to be exceptional. From the gameplay the music and especially the story
    it goes in a different direction that no one was expecting and it benefits from that for not being too cliche

    Just wrapped up my first playthrough of the game, and liked the overall experience.

    Gameplay wise it added some interesting mechanics which allow stealth to be a more viable option, however the loot and shoot method still works a charm. There are some 'on-rail' parts which cannot be Negotiated by the player, which in my opinion takes away from the immersion, but overall solid. Enemy    Just wrapped up my first playthrough of the game, and liked the overall experience.

    Enemy design was great, with some new introductions and reworks.
    In the case of the infected, the way the different enemy types worked together was awesome, something that last of us 1 was missing.
    The introduction of different factions gave the human AI a breath of fresh air,with different factions having a different amount of aggression and tactics.

    Visually the game looks amazing, there is no arguing that, another Naughty Dog masterpiece.

    The music even during gameplay fits every scene perfectly, from darks sewers and apartments to populated streets, the music is ace.
    Love the little guitar set pieces during gameplay too.

    From a story perspective, Naughty Dog built another interesting world, that I thoroughly wanted to explore.
    While many players are not fans of a particular part in the story, this series it not 'happily ever after World', but one of suffering and growth and I think part 2 develops on this in a interesting way.

    Overall I really liked the way the story progresses and while I do have some questions about certain characters development, the overall cohesion of the characters works well.

    The game is a masterpiece. Carefully directed, it engages you in a story that develops in an Oscar-movie style. The mechanics are great, weapons and fights feel amazingly real and brutal. Setting of post-apocalyptical Seattle is beautifully made. Really it is a pleasure to play the game, it holds you tight until you see the final titles. Strongly like!

    1. Gameplay
    Solid. It has what seem to be a few but very meaningful improvements from the 1st game. Better stealth aspect, a more detailed skill tree, also there are tons of options on how you can approach combat within game due to its size. You can go absolutely silent, or full Rambo mode. Each encounter is intense and brutal. I love the horror aspect of this game. It can get repetitive on few parts but thanks to the improved AI and added verticals, the combat gives you more pressure to decide and act quickly. 9/10

    2. Graphics
    Legendary. I haven't seen a game better than this one in terms of graphics. RDR2 and God of War are the closest. The environment, vegetation, facial expression, special effects were spectacular. 10/10.

    3. Story
    Alright, straight up I will be honest. I was aware of the theme setup for this 2nd installment of the series, which is based on hatred and vengeance (opposite of the 1st which revolves around love), and oh boy they gave it all and went extra mile. This game is not fun. It’s stressful, nerve-wracking, and depressing, on which those tonal approaches made it as the most emotional game I have ever played. There are few parts that I hate about the story, specifically on how they handle the death of Joel (which I realized was coming to him sooner or later due to consequences of his past actions). The story also feels a little bit dragged on few parts (looking for Leah and the last Rattlers arc), other than that, the pacing is acceptable. I understand playing the character that killed everybody’s beloved guy is enraging, but this is a perspective game/story. There are always two sides to every story, they have differing motivations. The game forced the player to play a different side of vengeance which I know makes people (including me) uncomfortable, but it forces you out of your comfort zone. To me, it’s not some **** writing, it’s challenging-writing. I actually grew fond of Abby as I played the game (no kidding, I could relate to her especially on 1 thing we feared about, heights. Funny I know, but they did incredible on this specific story arc of hers). Despite this game’s flaws, it left a big impact to me after finishing it. There are so many parts that I love, even to the parts where it hurts. That’s when I knew I understood the message that the game’s trying to deliver. I personally think that the entire point of the game is to criticize blind hatred and revenge. Thus the ending is about breaking the cycle of revenge. Abby blindly charted path for revenge and lost everything she had, the same goes for Ellie. Abby spared Ellie for the sake of her and Dina’s child, and Ellie did so for the sake of Lev. One final flashback where Ellie said she wants to forgive Joel is even proving the point where Abby in this story is parallel to Joel of the first game. A bad, evil person who’s done unforgivable things finds redemption in a child who needs protection. 8/10

    4. Characters
    There are plenty of new characters introduced in this game. They have great and diverse personalities, quality banter, and interesting backstories. Each of the factions introduced in this game also have compelling stories though a bit lacking in depth. My complaint is specific people were acting out of character from the 1st game. 8/10

    5. Design
    It is a linear game but with huge maps for exploring. The environment is surreal to behold. The animation produced by the motion capture is a beauty to look at. The cast' performance is brilliant 10/10

    6. Sound
    the sound of every scene and encounter, every gunshot and weapon modification, item interaction, etc were marvelous, it gave the game great immersion. I have no complaints, pretty much perfect. 10/10

    SCORE SUMMARY : 9/10

    That major reviewers are giving this game 10/10 is such a farce. This is like what happened with bioware mass effect andromeda/anthem.

Imagine seriously saying that this game is bad, it doesn't even make sense the bad reviews and grades that the game is getting, especially with regard to Joel's death and with you not killing Abby in the end, the people who say that just let themselves go for the hatred and most likely not have the maturity to understand the real meaning behind the history of this game, another ridiculous thing is to say that the game is bad because of the "militancy" that "exists" in it, admit that this is an idiotic excuse for cover up a reason so stupid that it makes you dislike the game that you prefer to give that nut excuse instead.

Which is absolutely **** disastrous to the script, the script completely blows up and fails hard if you don't empathize or give two **** about abs, which the game tries very hard to get you to do in obnoxious ways. Lots of blatant guilt tripping which is eye-rollingly opaque.

    Two, people who DO fall for the cheap emotional tricks as the director intended, and the script actually DOES work as intended so they think the game is deep and has the impact on them that was intended.

    If I didn't feel like this game was constantly insulting my emotional intelligence with a combination of lazy and/or bad writing and ham-fisted manipulation, I'd give it a solid 7/10.    … Expand

    There are many things to say, but I just wanted to state one important point. We definitely understand the desire of both characters in the game, but is there anyone who can understand why two of them, Abby and Ellie, gave up from their ultimate goal? I mean we are fulfilling these gaps with some logical explanations, but the game must definitely give us more clue about it. Especially, in the last scene, Joel was the fuel of this revenge and suddenly, I mean she lost her two fingers for it, Ellie gave up after a scene of Joel's guitar playing. As much as we love the first game thanks to its extraordinary features for character development, firstly because of unnecessary risky decisions, and secondly, because of some important gaps, this game will not satisfy the players. Even if you use masterpiece mechanics, without a coherent story this game looks like a beautiful soup without salt. One last thing, some dilemmas are definitely making players exhausted while there is no need for it. In the first game, we were using it in a situation like when we need to save Ellie. Finally, in a good story, there must be critical points, but also there must me relaxing points. Unfortunately, this game lost the balance between them.    … Expand

I would genuinely pay for ability forget I ever played this. Never buying another game written by neil ever again.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If LoU part 1 is about hope, survival and tough love, part 2 is about the revenge killings enacted between two protagonists. While there is a sense of redemption throughout part 1, part 2 is about damnation. It essentially begins with Abby who decided to exact justice on Joel for the death of her father. To settle the score, Ellie decided to hunt Abby down. Thus a cycle of violence of death - Ellie kills Abby's friends, Abby kills Ellie's friends and so on. The moral dilemma is about when the two protagonist finally decides to let go. In the theatre fight, Abby becomes her better self after she was persuaded by Lev not to kill Ellie. At the Rattler's beach, Ellie was persuaded in her subconscious by Joel not to kill Abby.

    The story largely reflects upon the social dimension of indulging in hatred and the consequences that it engenders. In this regard, the game succeeded beyond expectations because the circumstances were so bleak and desperate that many players actually hated the game. The ending was very poignant and heartbreaking with Ellie losing everything because she failed to let go of her vendetta. We essentially loses the two leads that we have grown to love and care so much.

    The premise of the Part 2 storyline seemed improbable because in a world that is so vicious and inured to death, it is not likely that the characters esp. Ellie would have taken on the type of risks and vendetta that they did. The battles are really repetitive and in terms of character development, none of the factions (Jackson, Seraphite, WLF), or even the new infected feel refreshing or inspired.

    The storyline seemed to be born out of desperation to cling onto the franchise. As there is actually so much material to explore in the LoU world, it would have been better to focus on entirely new characters and different backgrounds.    … Expand

    I felt angry, sad, and mad. The exact emotions Ellie felt, and what pushed her forward. The writers wanted the player to experience those emotions as well, and I must say they succeeded. Even though I don't agree with how the story went, but I accept it since it's true to the world of ''TLOU''

    Graphical department in all regards level design and sound. Superb. 10 out of 10.

    It's even confirmed by nathan drake s ring found in a vault in seattle that occur in the same universe both tlou and uncharted. But only in tlou counts. But gotta tell u ND nathan drake is a mass murdered who left thousands of daughters and sons without their fathers. Why not make a game where all those neca hunt drake to the grave?

    No... you just gotta do it for tlou. Ok fine. Then if all npcs matter now, why are you repeating same models for npcs throughout tlou2?
    Why? Coz if all kills count all of them should SHOULD be different NPCS and more now with the level of graphics and realism you're applying to this game. That disconnected a lot from what you were trying to say. So it's bad to kill in tlou world because it has consequiences but what about same model npcs that repeat themselves all across the board. And now you use that excuse that for more fun because that's part of the fun in ND games Joel killed an entire hospital full of nocs and that justifies being disrespectful toward a character just for the sake of taking this world too real???

    Then your game is based on getting revenge for that beloved character? Ok. That's why I played it then. To see what this thing would be at the end

    But then at the middle of the game you put a stop to play a kojima mgs2 stunt and gives us the fans the playable killer of our beloved icon.     Is this a game of revenge or was it about the pandemic and survival?

    Not only she is denied of that. But in a burst of rage she is about to kill Abby and she even bites off 2 fingers and in that burst of anger she stops? No one in the real world would...

    Maybe jesus or ghandi or mandela... But never a video game character to which the game wasn't aiming towars forgiveness ever.

    Hey ND I tell u at least u could ve corrected that mistake by ellie not saving abby but not killing either. Knowing she was meeting her end hanged... and that could ve fixed at least the intention. Seeing that not always revenge gets u your goal, but violent people can .eet their end by their own karma and actions.

    I dream of seeing a scene where ellie says to hanged abby: i came to kill u but u are already dead / i won't kill u but i won't save u either u are dead

    And then to put the final nail in the coffin ellie gets severed of her last connection to joel. The guitar. She loses all. Then I wonder


    Joel denied her being mankind s savior but ND denies her the life that Joel gave her once. Because she now has nothing. No joel. No connection. No couple. No famikiy.

    So ellie is more than broken now. Did she deserved that fate as a character? What did she do?

    And I didn't even mentioned agendas of stupid sexuality things.
    That is beyond stupid to low a score based on that.

    So for a linear story driven game all I got was something that missed the mark. Giving misery to beloved things just is not the way to go.

    If I could I d erase what I witnessed. But we'll. It was so big my disappointment that I had to come here to publish my personal rate on this game.

    The story seems to get flamed so I'm starting with that and why its 3/4 of my review. So lets go.

    For about 10-13 hours you play as Ellie (depends on how long you loot and explore the city). As you play as Ellie you see how she is consumed with getting revenge on Abby for killing Joel. However, the more you play you see how consumed she really is, and how far she takes it to kill Abby. During the story she loses friends, family, and fingers to get her. The more you play, it gets you thinking, is the revenge for Joel worth it? Many fans would say yes. However, I took a step back to see if it is actually worth doing so. As Ellie, you kill many people as revenge for Joel. However, there're times when you question it, such as she kills a pregnant women (though she didn't know she was) and when she threatens to kill a child (Lev). The longer you play, the more you question if Ellie's actions are Justified. If you believe so then wouldn't by the same logic Abby's actions are Justified for killing Joel??? I mean Abby isn't really the evil one in this story, Ellie is. Before you hate me for saying so, Abby doesn't kill anyone besides Joel. She only wanted Joel no one else, that is why she sparred Ellie and Tommy. However, Ellie kills almost everyone that is friends with Abby. She kills her ex, hers ex's pregnant gf, and more that took part at Joel's death but didn't kill him. They also wanted Justice for Joel killing their friends, but did they deserve to die? That's for you to decide. But what helps your decision is that you play as the "bad guys".

    After playing as Ellie, you reset the clock and play as Abby for about 10 hours. You see her complicated story, the friends that took place at Joel's death and gives them the reason they where there. The women that was pregnant? She didn't want to part take, but only went for the safety of the people (she is the medic). As Abby, if you allow yourself to open up to her character and gave her a chance, you'll most likely ending up caring for her. Once you begun playing as a character for about 10 hours, you begun to understand her, her motives, her thought process of the world. You start to care for her and her complicated story. You see as she changes through out the story, and at the end of the game, I actually didn't want to kill her, she was basically Joel at that point because of how much you played as her. At the end of Abby's story, Abby kills Ellie's friend Jesse and beats up Ellie and her GF Dina. She was going to kill Dina until Lev says her name, where Abby then AGAIN spares Ellie and Dina.

    After playing as Abby their is a time jump of a year or so. Ellie seems to have given up on Abby and his living happily with her GF Dina and her child JJ. However, she begins to have PTSD of Joel's death. Including that Tommy comes back and tells Ellie where Abby might be somewhere is California. At first Ellie decides no, but then at night she decides to leave her family and goes on the search for Abby. Her consume for revenge makes her lose her family. She then fights another gang of people and at the end fights Abby. She forces Abby to fight (which Abby is a shell of her former self because of the people in the gang). She forced Abby to fight by threatening Lev, a child. Again, her revenge threatens a child's life. A fight starts with Ellie winning, however later in the fight, as Ellie starts to drown Abby, Abby bites two of her fingers off. However, Ellie gets back on top of her and continues to try and drown her. She is only stopped by having a brief memory of Joel. Where she realizes that killing Abby wont bring Joel back, and that if she kills Abby, she will be Abby. She realizes it isn't worth anymore, and lets Abby and Lev go.

    At the end she loses friends, her only family she had, and her fingers. Her fingers are important, because through the story she plays the guitar. The guitar symbolizes Ellie's memory of Joel, throughout the story she is constantly remembers him, however at the end, she cant play the guitar due to the loss of her fingers and she stops playing it. She then sets it down, has a small last hopeful memory of Joel, of her telling him she will try and forgive him for saving her in the first game. Then she leaves her empty home, and the memory of Joel, and moves on.

    The story is all about revenge, but not the way you would think of it. You question Ellie's actions and choices. You start to see how hate and revenge consumes her. It is a story that is complicated, but it inst bad. It takes an open mind to understand it all. And once you start to understand it all, you'll enjoy the game so much more.

    Gameplay is the probably the best part. It's fun to loot, discover the secretes of City of Seattle, and combat is smooth. More guns to unlock and upgrade. The Game also looks absolutely beautiful. The world looks polished and realistic, with so much depth to it.

    A true masterpiece! Cound not put it down! Went in with the knowledge of the Spoilers (thanks for nothing internet) and I would have done a great mistake if I wouldn't have given the game a chance. There is so much good in this game that I can't talk about because of spoilers. Best advice: Play the game.

The layouts of fights were sometimes claustrophobic enough to induce panic, and sometimes wide and open with many options for stealth or head-on fights.     The good:
    Characters: The supporting cast was charming and fun without devoting too much game time to fleshing them out. Ellie is older and is grappling with some heavy stuff, and you can't help but feel everything alongside of her. New characters are a welcome addition to the mix of motivations and interactions.
    Setting: The locations are great and feel fresh, even spots that can be overused in games (subway stations, banks)

    The bad:
    Timeline/series of events: Sometimes I felt a little like I was watching Westworld Season 2. Where are we? What's already happened? Non-linear timelines can be executed well, but in this case it was a bit distracting. The structure of the game was already a creative use of timelines, so adding in random flashbacks was additionally jarring.
    Theme/gameplay combo: This game has a strong message about choice, but at no point did I feel I could make a meaningful impact on the story. Games that are on rails are totally fine, but I have to imagine a small decision tree could have been implemented to great effect.

    Overall, great game. Suffers from a sequel's curse of not quite hitting exactly the same notes as the first game, but amazing nonetheless.    … Expand

I didn't enjoy some parts of the story. For example, when I started to play as Abby I found it hard to care about her but in the end, my opinion shifted just slightly. The long epilogue chapter was a great touch.
    About the gameplay, it took all the parts from the first game and improved them, and visually this is one of the most gorgeous games I have ever played. Very often I found myself just admiring the world around me. Lastly, I need to mention the music... absolutely superb.
    It seems like a lot of people just review bombed this game without playing it, but considering the record-breaking sales it doesn't really matter.    … Expand

Apparently it's an unpopular opinion but I am an even bigger fan of the Last of Us II... Most of the hugely negative reviews I've read have painted this game as a demon coming to rip your soul out and drag it down to hell. Few of those people have good points. Others? Simply not in touch with their emotions or cannot comprehend situations and accept them for what they are. This game tells an amazing revenge/forgiveness tale that what seems to me would be pretty damn accurate for most humans going through these situations. Joel dying off? IMMENSELY saddening. Not ashamed to say I cried. Naughty Dog did that very daringly KNOWING everyone who has played TLOU is extremely connected to his character. It's a post apocalyptic era for **** sakes! I'm surprised they didn't die before this! Anyways, loved the ability to play as Abby. Made me like her and sympathize with her. Made the fights between Ellie and Abby painful to play. Meaning I didn't want to kill either of them. All other aspects of gameplay... Masterfully done. Sounds... Made me feel like I was there crawling around on the ground, assassinating enemies with Ellie or Abby, running through buildings, shooting, etc. (headphones work best for this game unless you have a kick-ass surround sound system) Story... Dark, eye opening, makes you think, perfect sequel Controls... Way smoother than the OG All in all... This is one of my top 5 favorite games ever made.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. At first I didn't know if people were trying hard to give bad scores to the game (I was still waiting for my copy to be shipped) so I wasn't sure what to think about all of this.

    I started playing few days ago (done now) and while the game has some good points (graphics, level design etc.) the most important part (the story) is all messed up. Last of Us's key element is its story and I don't know what they were thinking. I understand they all live in an apocalyptic world, which means some people will eventually do bad things to survive, but many points do not make sense at all. Let's break it down :

    They kill Joel in the first 2 hours of the game. It's something that could actually make sense, but the way they did it, it doesn't. Why ? First, they kill him WAY too fast and by some random character we don't even know about. Then, it's the way they kill him that doesn't make sense too. Joel has more experience and trusting such a group at the beginning of the game just to get killed few minutes later makes no sense too. He had to be on guard, eventually wait outside, call for help or whatever. But to join a random group just to get killed? Yeah... excuse me but that's a very bad way to handle it.

    Now let's talk about Abby, the newly introduced character. When she's about to kill him, Joel doesn't seem to recognize her or anything and from our player's standing point, it's just confusing. Joel's reaction : ok, let's do this quick, just finish me. WTF ? Come on man, fight for your life, try to understand what's going on at least. Joel looked so weak, damn.

    If Joel died trying to save Ellie or a natural death (even a bite), I wouldn't mind that much (even if I loved that character), but to kill him like that? Nope... I can't accept that.

    And if you think about it, Abby killing him has no meaning and for one more reason : if Joel had to get killed by all the father's daughters he eventually killed in the previous game, there'd be an army hunting him down. So why Abby? She barely has anything special, it's a random character we never heard of, anybody else that got killed could have an angry son/daughter to go after Joel. I'm so disappointed by this non sense that I'm losing my word, so I'll skip to the next part : Ellie's choice.

    So during the game, you basically destroy innocent people that never touched Joel, you kill hundred's of enemies and in the end, Ellie's like : you killed Joel? Nah it's okay, let's move on, happy ending for you Abby!

    As mentioned, we kill hundreds of enemies just to let her go... Who the hell decided this? Oh and I forgot to mention, I bought the collector's edition and Neil Druckman had a letter for us saying something like : "how far you would go for revenge?".

    Okay, how far would I go? It goes both side. How far Abby would go (she decided to kill Joel) and then comes Ellie's turn. As a player, why you NEVER gave me the choice to DECIDE BY MYSELF? You ask us how far we'd go just to decide for ourselves without giving us any options. Do not ask uf what we would do if we're condamned to follow Ellie's bad choice to let Abby survive. It was your decision as a game creator to not to as far as revenge, so why bother ask us? If our decision doesn't interest you, just don't ask, ffs.

    I can't give a 0 to the game because some things are actually good, but as I've already said, the narrative part of the game (the most important one) has been ruined. If TLOU was my grave, Neil Druckman just spitted on it.

    I'll give one point for the graphics, one for the music, one for the gameplay.

    And please, I beg Naughty dog, if there's a 3rd part, don't let that man work on it unless you want to release another bad story.

    From now on, I'm just going to forget about this game and will consider that everything's over at TLOU's ending.    … Expand

I didn’t mind the bait in switch in characters and towards halfway through the game , I could see that the first protagonist went too far in her actions and that the second protagonist was actually the good guy. My advice , leave your politics at home and simply enjoy the game for what it is ....escapism. I’m a conservative and didn’t feel that this game was endorsing any politics .… Expand

The story has made drastic changes which made me feel alienated and overall upset with the direction of the new title.
