This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The first game was my favorite game of all time. When the trailers came out it was so obvious what this game was going to be about. There were articles and YouTube videos talking about what we all thought it was going to be about. Now suddenly we're acting like we're all surprised? the first game is a 10 for me and this one can't reach that point because I do have some issues with it. But it has nothing to do with most complaints people have. the leaks led me to believe that this is going to be left-wing politics shoved down my throat and that's not the case. So now we want to pretend it has nothing to do with the LGBT controversies, and we all want to claim we're just mad that you have to play as Abby. movies and stories follow antagonist side of the story all the time this is nothing new in story telling. if you genuinely loved the first game, and don't care that there's some LGBT characters in it, by the way Abby is never implied to be trans, try the game you'll likely like it. Now I know people are going to claim I'm just calling people bigots if they don't like this, that's not the case at all. I am actually a right-leaning conservative person in most people's eyes. I was fully expected to be pissed off at a bunch of left-wing politics being shoved down my throat in this game, then it never came and I was wondering what all the outrage was about because while I didn't read the spoilers that's what all the memes were bashing it for. I saw one person say he refused to play the game because Abby was trans (even though the games never implied that l, after I beat the game my friend asked me if they really put tr@nny porn in it. Clearly that is one of the biggest issues a lot of people have, so many of the comments seem to imply having gay lesbian or trans characters is their biggest issue. of course I am not claiming that's everyone though.

If you can't handle that bad things can happen to characters you love and stories then you likely won't like this. As I said, the first game is my favorite game of all time. I can't accept that a character I love dying means it's disrespect to the character or disrespect to me as a fan, that is incredibly simple-minded. and going back to the first trailers, this is exactly what everyone was predicting the game was going to be about so it's ironic that we're acting like that's the part that pisses off so much. I've also seen so many people say it would have been better if you got to get your revenge at the end. That completely defeats the point of the game. If that's the case it would be like Ellie becomes the villain and completes her path to the dark side. that would mean Abby and lev become the protagonist and Ellie becomes a villain. Even Abby spared Ellie's life in the theater. it would have made the story worse if Ellie actually kills Abby at the end but people seem to be too simple-minded and think the only logical story conclusion would be Abby being murdered Ellie. the story was not what I was expecting and obviously controversial but I think the more and more I contemplated the more I actually like how the story comes full circle similarly to how the first game came full circle. And people forget that Joel was a murderous **** and condemned humanity to no cure by killing the doctors. I hope for a part 3.

Without a doubt this is the best game I've ever played. The graphics are outstanding, the story is compeling deep and breathtaking. This is NOT your story. You have the right to tell you dont like but that doesnt make the game what you say it is. Grow up.

In my opinion, what makes the first entry so good was the breaking of stereotypes and the deep care for its characters. This game does that as good or even better. It makes you feel desperated and anxious at first just to make the player feel disorientated, without knowing what to do or to think or what to expect. Then everything changes and you enter in a storm of emotions just to realize everything has a reason, even though we may not like it.

Was this game worth it? YES, every minute I've played it (around 30h just in one playthrough) and every cent I've spent. If you are searching for a stroy that makes you THINK and an appeling but brutal and cruel world, this is your game. If you want a game with the story you already have in your mind, go for another one, this is not for you.

Assolutamente, ma a me è piaciuta molto.
Complimenti a voi e grazie, grazie davvero.

Ignore the narrowminded alt-right hate trolls steamrolling this game, which I would estimate a good 80+ percent of the hard negative reviews are. Poor little insecure twits unable to deal with the slightest challenge to how they want to see the world.
The first TLoU game is one of the few games I've played through more than once. In fact I've lost count of how many times I've played it.

The first TLoU game is one of the few games I've played through more than once. In fact I've lost count of how many times I've played it. Certainly more than any other. LToU 2 lives up to the original on all counts. At first I was a bit tentative about it. The first few hours felt like a bit of a rehash of the original in a lot of ways, but then the game shifted gears and took off. People hollering about plot holes need to use their imagination and understanding of the human condition. Nothing seems out of character. I think a lot of those comments are simply forced onto it to hide the fact that they've got some personal anti-sjw agenda. Why do they hide it.? Because they know, deep down, that they should be ashamed of themselves for being closed-minded hate mongers.

This game literally shocked me because it is not what I expected in this game with regard to the trailer State of play. Did you know? I was really motivated to buy this game because of the scene at the end of the trailer, we clearly saw Joel grab Ellie by surprise ... And the following was:

    - Ellie: What the hell are you doing here? - Joel: You think I'd let you do this on your own.

But in the game they put another character in place of Joel, Seriously it disgusted me to see this scam in the gameplay so much that ... I ejected the game from my game console immediately and I won't play this game anymore ...

The last of us I.
La banda sonora me ha encantado, siguiendo la línea del 1º, con 4-5 temas memorables, aunque el tema principal de The last of us I me gustó más, pero Santaolalla ha vuelto a crear unas piezas acordes al mundo y a la historia pesimista con toques de esperanza que nos cuentan.

Seven years of waiting and honestly, I would've rather waited forever than have the name of this game tarnished with memory of what I just played. I don't have a problem with whatever agenda this game pushed, I have a problem with the story overall. Sorry, but if someone broke into your house and killed your dog, would you forgive them, or go John Wick on them? No one wanted to play as Abby, no one wanted to understand her side. The only reason I am giving this game a two is because obviously the graphics are were going to be phenomenal. In all reality, I should be giving it a zero considering I can't return this game. I think the biggest mistake I've made with it is buying it to begin with...

Expand

    Good
Its disgustingly good looking ( probably the best looking PS4 exclusive)
The sound design and music are top notch
    Runs silky smooth

    Bad
The gun play feels last gen and is mainly stealth based and when compared to other stealth games (dishonored 2, deus ex mankind divided and MGSV) its really mdeiocre and gets very stale after 10 hours
    The Ugly
    Story
The story is horrendous, dark, bleak ,hopeless, nihilistic to the point of being gaming first snuff game. You feel sad and drained not because you empathized with the characters, but becuase the game relentlessly through dark gritty brutal violence at you. Its like watching a puppy getting kicked violent down a flight of steps over and over and over again ...its really puzzling TBH as Naughty Dog are really good at telling competent stories

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I just finished the game and there are so many problems I have for it. First The false advertisement, they advertised like Joel would be in the game a lot longer then he was by model swapping characters in the trailers if I knew that was the case I would have cancelled my pre order immediately. It is a completely scummy thing to do and before you say oh it’s a bait and switch no this is just pure lies which is no ok. Second is how they disrespected Joel the most beloved character by changing who he is you’re telling me the man who spotted a trap miles away would just give out his info to these random armed people and then center himself and make himself vulnerable? No no matter how long you live in a safe area those instincts don’t just go away it’s just poor writing on naughty dogs part. Then they make you feel like Joel is a bad guy for what he did to the surgeon who forced Joel’s hand. It’s made to seem like such a forced back story. The surgeon holds a scalpel up to and armed man trying to save Ellie. He sealed his own fate when he did that. Plus joe made the right call if you watch game theory’s video on Joel’s choice it’s well explained that the surgery is the worst choice possible in the first place and the vaccine would never work so Ellie would have died for nothing. The next problem is they make Ellie look like a villain, her seeking of revenge makes her look more and more evil by making her kill animals and the pregnant girl with Owen even though they both forced Ellie’s hand but you’re still made to feel guilty for it all. Then the unnecessary death Jessie because Ellie just leaves the map the screams here’s our base at the scene where she killed abbys friends just so it can be found just more lazy writing. By adding McGuffins at every turn in the story. The third huge problem is forcing us to play as Abby for Half the game, the person who killed Joel. I did not spend 60 dollars to hear about a story I could care less about. It is obvious they try so hard to make you like her by making her the good guy just after she tortured Joel for who knows how long. Joel killed her father quick he didn’t make him suffer for a long time like the psycho Abby. They make her look good by loving animals and helping two people get out from the trouble they are in and make her seem like such a loving and caring person. She was a poorly written character that was made to make you like her and make you feel bad for her. If they put even half the time into making the story line about Ellie and Joel like everyone wanted instead of making such a boring story about a new character no one wanted to know about there wouldn’t be so much hate for the game. Now they ending is what makes this game just so unbearable. Ellie and Dina have a good life they are finally happy. But they make Tommy into an ass just to guilt trip Ellie into getting revenge again. Ellie leaves everything behind to hunt Abby again making her look like the villain once again. Then when you finally find her they don’t even give you the satisfaction of getting your revenge Ellie is left maimed and Abby gets to go free Ellie returns to find Dina has left and Ellie is all alone. She finds Joel’s guitar and can’t play it due to her injuries instead of taking one of the only things she has left of him she leaves it behind and we have no closure for any parts of the story that we started. What happened to Dina and the baby? Where will Ellie go now? What about Tommy? Hell even their golden child Abby doesn’t get closure. If the game had just ended when Ellie and Dina would have settled down and Abby would have walked away I could have been happy with that ending it’s close for Ellie it’s the life she wanted but they had to destroy everything they built in the two games within an hour span. To me this game was lazy and instead of focusing on the character they should have they put their time into a new character who no one cared about and who isn’t the embodiment of the game series. The bond between Ellie and Joel was what made the first one so amazing but taking that all away within two how’s and making Ellie look like a villain towards Joel in the last moments together it just makes the game feel like a chore to complete. Now gameplay and visuals are great but I bought the game just for the story I knew from the first the gameplay would be fine and to me it was a spit in the face to what was truly loved about the first game. I was praying all game it would just be some big dream because honestly as much as I hate those endings it would have been 100 times better then what we got. Just save your money and stay away from the game I wish I could return it but it’s too late. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is great. It's not the story most of the players imagined, but you can't blame the writers for doing something that does not align with your imagination. For me it worked perfectly. I see many people saying that Joel would never have trusted Abby in the first place, but you must take into consideration that he has gotten cozy in Jackson for the last 4 years. He saw a young girl in danger and he helped her. Ellie has changed him. Joel's death is the perfect drive for the story. It is still horrible, but the story in The last of us was never a happy one. To expect them to live happily ever after is not realistic. Joel has done awful things in those 25 years. And in the end he faces the consequences. When the writers decided to make you play as Abby for half of the game, they knew the players will be angry at first. That's the point. But you get to see things from her perspective. Nothing is black and white. By the end of the second half of the game i sympathized with Abby. I didn't really wan't her dead at the end. The characters and story were well written.
As for the gameplay, it was amazing. The action is very satisfying. Every mechanic, well thought out. Sound design, voice acting, animation - all perfect.
In the end the leaks managed to turn the fans against the game without offering almost any context for the things that happen. It's a shame that many won't even try the game and instead will continue to take in all the negative reviews from the internet. It is something you have to experience yourself.

Congratulations to Naughty Dog for making such a great game! And wish them luck in their future projects!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After playing this from start to finish, and not reviewing early like i’m certain some have, i think an average score is very fair.
The gameplay is excellent and on par with its predecessor, the graphics are impeccable, the attention to detail is on another level also. If the story was on par with the original then this would easily be one of the greatest games ever made, unfortunately that is not the case. The big shock is not what ruined the story for me, it was a wow moment an i carried on, when Dina came into play as your partner it got very confusing as i could not tell who was saying what due to their voices being extremely similar, even with subtitles this didn’t help. Then you have Jesse (aka glenn from walking dead) boring as hell just get out of here please....thankyou.
Finally when i thought it was all over it wasn’t you have to play the game as shehulk, and what i can only explain is naughty dogs attempt to pull a breaking bad on us and make protagonist become the antagonist, nicely done but predictable, Then the story goes off on another tangent whereby you make friends with who i describe as the One-Arm bandit an the last airbender, this part of the story seems wishy washy and pointless, its as if they struggled to think of what Abby could have been up to whilst Ellie was raising hell, the term wild goose chase comes to mind.
The cherry on the top that really destroyed it for me and when I thought no, please no, no naughty dog, you didn’t just, oh my yes you did, was when they pulled out the transfender storyline, the lesbian love story was fine although a little awkward to watch at times. But when the transgender storyline popped it was as if naughty dog pulled down their preverbial pants and let current affairs/media/society as a whole slowly insert a 10 inch d1ldo inside them, If the game came out a year later I wouldn’t have been suprised if Abby was Black! I’m by no means homophobic at all but i hear about all this daily in the news, the last thing i or i assume most people want is for this kind of crap to smear its way into our beloved game storylines, theres a time and place an this isn’t it, Naughty Dog should try less to be “original” and please the mass population but instead try to please the gamers and the people who actually play the games.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Pros:
    - Increadibly good graphics (I don't know any game that comes close to TLOU2 in that regard). Actually I didn't think the PS4 (even the Pro) could handle those graphics with such a stable framerate. Yeah, sure, I'd wish I could play the game on my PC so I can crank up the graphics even more and enjoy a higher framerate, but that's just complaining at a very high level.
    - Extremely good sound design (You can hear so many things going on around you, the sounds are perfectly matching all the movement and environments, enemies, weapons, etc., it's just perfect)
    - The vistual art style is superb and makes the game look extremely realistic and organic. Even though some objects are re-used over the game, it doesn't feel like it. Reminds me of "The Vanishing of Ethan Carther" where almost no object appeared twice in the game.
    - The enemy design really nice and makes enemies (especially the monsters) feel more dangerous.
    - The athmosphere is phenomenal. I would've loved the game even if it was just an exploration game without combat or anything. Just exploring the world was much fun.
    - This game is huge and I believe it took me at least 50% longer than the first part because it as really big areas to explore and to fight through.
    - Movement is on the spot and I'd say 98% of moves look astonishingly realistic and organic and give a real sense for the weight of the character. It didn't feel like you were shoving around a weightless "thing" but a real person with weight and a center of gravity that's changing depending on how the player controls the character.
    - The facial expressions of the characters are over the top well done. I loved them so much. They are the best I've seen so far in a game and they are even better than most movies' with real actors.
    - Overall gameplay didn't change too much so that anyone who played the first game should feel familiar with this one immediately. It's mostly stealth and action, split by countless ingame cutscenes (was there a pre-rendered cutscene anyway? I'm actually not sure and when the Intro was over I first didn't realize it was ingame and I wondered why nothing happened :D)
    - The Listen Mode is improved in a way that it feels more realistic. You can't "see" as clearly as in the first game anymore (even though you can level that skill up).
    - The amount of options (especially for people with bad hearing or bad eyes) is suprising and satisfying. You can adjust so many options so that you can make it your very own experience and you are able to make the game even easier or harder with that.

Nonetheless there are some Cons which I want to name:
    - The decision to kill Joel at all a punch in the face. Sure, it helps developing hatred for his killer and thus feeling what Ellie feels. But, man, this was a hard punch and I wish the Devs hadn't done that because they destroyed all of the relationship that Ellie and Joel built up in the first game. Yes, I know, since Joel saved her from death their relationship was a bit frozen but wouldn't it have made for a wonderfui story if the two would reconcile and he would FINALLY admit to her his father feelings for her? Instead he had to die (felt very rushed and extremely unecessary) and all of what the first game built up was ... gone. Poof. Like it never happened. That's not a very good storyline in my eyes but rather the failed try to make the player feel angry.
    - The boss fights were way too hard (even on lowest difficulty). They felt like 5 times harder than usual gameplay.
    - The game makes you feel stupid. Let me explain: There are many many situations where you exactly know that after the next squeeze-through/door/drop to a lower level either a boss fight or at least new hordes of enemies await you. You 100% know it but the game leaves you no choice in going around or hiding. It forces you into the fight or at least into being hit from your left and overwhelmed by some enemy. I consider this as cheap as a trick as jump scares in movies. Don't make the player KNOW what's coming and then make exactly this happen but instead let it happen when the player least expects it. Make the game unpredictable. Unfortunately the game is very predictable when it comes to enemy encounters.
    - The AI of the enemies is better than in the first game in my opinion but especially human enemies are more or less cannon fodder. The stalker though was an extremely nice enemy to fight and those encounters were the only ones where I really felt adrenaline. Most other encounters are more like planning a trip. Make the AI more unpredictable.
    - This game has way too many situations where you need to force push doors open because they are blocked by a shelf or something. Most times there were so many ways around those doors but you were forced to use this single way and no other.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. From my point of view the game isn't as bad as every one makes it be. To be honest it is a very good representation of real life, and bare with me until i explain my point. In real life bad things happen for no reason, to good people, to bad people, to people we love and hate. Life does not wait until we are ready to face the difficulties if we will ever be.. we have all lost people (sometimes in seemingly unfair and humiliating ways like Joel who deserved a more heroic death but life didn't provide it for him ) who we loved and we all know how devastating searching for reason is in a world without reason, so i respect a game who manages to make me feel so deeply even a terrible feeling as that of losing someone and feeling hopeless and unjust about it. As for the the decisions the characters make throw the game that some times seemed out of character i believe the help to color the humanity of each person, i prefer a character who has inner conflicts of values and desires and because of that are unpredictable rather than a character who is predictable and already fully established. I believe this game is a (sad) piece of art for a different reason than the 1st one, and for sure it does not deserve a 0 . Anyway thanks for taking the time to read this Expand

Such great potential, wasted for a bad story. This game is disrespectful to the fans of TLOU and the franchise. They could have made an incredible game if they considered what the fans would enjoy but instead it seems that the writers just wanted to be edgy and political. I hope naughty dog doesn't make this mistake again or it will ruin them.

The game got so big that a sequel was inevitable whether we wanted it or not. The Last of Us Part 2 is a game that is based around perspective. And the games main purpose in order of successfully telling this story is to ensure that you as the individual can empathize with both sides. Within this game, you play as fan favorite Ellie and as a newcoming character named Abby. Ellie's journey is that of revenge while Abby's is that of redemption. Ellie witnesses a horrific event leading to her hunting down Abby as well as anyone who gets in between. Ellie's tale is actually one I personally enjoyed, as you really understand her anger from the beginning. As you have grown with her, you tend to root for her as she takes out her adversaries one by one. Abby on the other hand is really where this game can be hit or miss. Abby committed a horrific act(which is why Ellie hunts her) and when it comes to her side of the story, the writers really try to make you understand where she was coming from and empathize with her. Personally it just didn't work for me. I didn't care enough for what she was fighting for nor her friends. So to me the story felt good for the first half and for the second half had me bored. What about the gameplay? That is where the game can really shine. TLOU2's gameplay is a much more improved version of the first entry. You know exactly what you are getting into. Looting and using your resources to craft various tools to help you while you brave through areas of infected or one of the new factions. Stealth is something that feels way more important this time around. As every bullet of your gun counts, you should really save it for moments that you need them. Stealth can be really fun as there are a lot of opportunities for you to take down your enemies, using vehicles, holes in walls, and tall patches of grass to get around the area unspotted. There are new enemies that also really help to mix up your experience. Dogs, are new enemies who force you to constantly be on the move to evade them. In terms of infected, there are stalkers who are a weaker version of Clickers that like to sneak up on you and alert other infected around you. The human enemies are also really interesting this time around as they will now call out to their mates and make sure that everyone around them is still okay. The pressure is very much felt within these stealth sequences. Combat is improved as well with a new dodge button being added. And although it isn't a mind blowing addition it is a welcome one. The dodge button really feels like you have a chance in combat, when it works. The only issue with this button is it sometimes feels delayed and even when you're sure you hit the dodge button at the right time, you still end up getting hit. Friendly ai also add quite a bit to combat and stealth sequences. Unlike the first game, the allies will actually help you kill enemies or even spot them out to you. And they can either feel useful or feel like they are weighing you down. Thats one of the biggest issues I have with the game in terms of gameplay/mechanics is the AI can be really good, or really bad. The allies suffer from this, constantly getting in your way and making dumb decisions(ex. I got spotted by a clicker and an ally came and shut the door behind me, resulting in my death). The enemies are no different, they sometimes feel blind or just stupid half of the time. When the AI works, it feels great especially when the enemies start coordinating with methods of how to attack you. In terms of boss fights, there aren't much but they have some good ones(with one being awesome). The graphics are also really good but can sometimes look off. The scenery is incredible! There were plenty of moments where I would just stop and admire the world. And the sound design is phenomenal; when I first heard the clickers in this game I got chills. With a played time of about 26 hours, there's a lot to dig into. But having loved the first game so much, and with the first games influence on me being so massive, I just couldn't find myself to care for the story despite the fun gameplay. Expand

I was then forced to play as a bulked up female character, Abby, who I didn’t care anything about.

Game pushes an agenda instead of telling a coherent story, and fails to develop characters in a realistic and thought out way.

As a big fan of the first game, which I still consider to have the best story in any video game so far, I was truly conflicted with the change but I said I wanted to see where this was going. Is it possible to forge a relationship with someone who just killed a beloved character? We see her fears and hopes and where her hate comes from. Slowly but surely we don't see her as a 2d character but one that has hopes and wishes and flaws and strength. There are some really heart wrenching scenes and gameplay which aren't suppose to make you feel goody and such. It was planning on making you feel like the character. They managed to do this so well in the first one and managed to do it here as well. The gameplay really got a lot better, one of the things I found to be a bit mediocre in the first one. The graphics are stellar and overall the story kept me wanting to know more and see where this was headed. I couldn't wait to get home and play it. It challenged me, made me sad, angry, happy, disgusted. I do recommend it wholeheartedly. I haven't had this range of emotions and in any game or movie for a long time. The bad reviews that came out the 19th of June should be taken with a lot of skepticism since there is no way that they can have grasped the full range of it all. I can see that you either hate or love this and the middle ground is pretty thin on this one. For me this was a great game which I will come back to and play again. Expand

The start was heart-breaking and probably put a lot of players off but on the grand scale on things the game is very human. Not everything pans out like we want it too. The game-play is new and exciting but at times, get repetitive. The story is dark and depressing but very gripping. The graphics are incredible and nothing like I’ve seen before. The only thing missing is Ellie’s happiness in the end, does she go back to Dina? But I suppose that opens possibilities to a potential DLC. Expand

Judt finished it and honestly I enjoyed the gameplay and the breathtaking graphics and the world they built is phenomenal but after sometime the gameplay get really repetitive and a bit boring. The story is the worst part of the game. The characters are uninspiring and the way they killed off Joel was done poorly. Half of the game you play as Ellie and the other half as Abby and I hate that I have to play as Abby it gets really boring after sometime and felt more like a dlc and disconnected from the actual story. They try so hard to get you to care about this character and other character that are just bland and it just doesn't work. And the ending was put a nail in the coffin. Ellie killed like 1000 people to get to Abby and when she had the chance to do it all of a sudden she has a change of heart. The theme is just a generic revenge story and you learn in the end revenge is bad. This one was a disappointment story wise Expand

Tackling themes of selfishness, revenge, forgiveness, gender fluidity, sexuality and xenophobia, it is an absolute masterpiece.
A landmark for story telling in any form of cinema, character development is just, wow. I have never cared as much for a fictional character as I have for Joel, never felt so conflicted about a protagonist’s decisions and never ever have I empathised so much with an ‘antagonist’.
Much like the human experience, nothing about it is easy.
In fact I believe it to have set a new precedent for NPC difficulty and AI.
the game is gorgeous and lovingly filled with treasures from past beloved naughty dog games. I enjoyed every single moment of my 24 hour play through. This game shines through its contrast and parallels. Light and dark, lush green and concrete, guttural violence and gorgeous vistas, somber moments and unencumbered elation. All the while highlighting, the grey of it all. Constantly reminding us that we aren’t all that different, that we share pain and loss as the human race. Cannot speak more highly of the game. Anybody who’s thinking twice before getting TLOU2, my advice would be - get it, and you’ll never forget it.

Some clever alterations such as the added skill trees have definitely improved the game along with something as simple as going prone to improve the stealth mechanics. there are many welcome changes like this that keep the basic gameplay the same as its predecessor albeit a more refined version. The familiar feel of the controls is what reminds us of the original and the addition of new types of infected keeps things interesting. As a game the last of us part 2 is excellent, the graphics are some of the best ive seen on ps4 and the gameplay itself works well. the emphasis on the brutality of melee combat is also a good addition. There are however some major issues with the story itself that i do not agree with. it is not just the events that occur that don't feel right but the pacing itself seems odd at times. some parts of the game feel as if they would work better in a different order. I also found myself enjoying the first sections as Ellie on her quest during the first 10 hours or so alot more than I thought i would given what had happened. However i really disliked Abby and no matter how the character development tried to justify her actions to make you like her it wasn't going to work. I found the latter part of the game where you play as Abby to be a tedious slog that I just put up with to get back to being Ellie to find out what happens next. I was also bitterly disappointed with the end of the game but understood the direction they were going in. To conclude the brilliant gameplay and graphics make this a must play but it is seriously let down by its story. Expand

    - Ellie and Abby's forced cooperation, I really want to hear the diologist between them.
    - Please don't make Tommy villain.
    - the scene with a mass outcome of Tommy's community from the place of residence and attack them bandits, and then infected.
    - I want Ellie to be in Joel's house where Tommy will take her.
    - system of selection in key points, to implement variability of passage.
    - transport, that would player could manage them.
    - helicopter! To fix it and use it in a story.
    - a fraction of military scientists who would grow fungus in laboratory conditions to understand this phenomenon.
    - neutral factions of NPS with which could be agreed, and not kill each other when sorting for resources.
    - infected wild animals.
    - random events on locations between NPS that would affect the atmosphere. (Red dead redemption 2)
    - the Horde of the infected.
    - I want to scale, drama and light beam at the end of the tunnel.

This game, while linear, had some great open world aspects. I was excited to go into buildings off the beaten path even if that meant facing more infected. The accessibility options were also wonderful. I get motion sick, so being able to mess with those options allowed me to play the game unhindered. The at mostly of the game was amazing as well. The intense moments were intense as hell, and the beautiful, breath taking moments were a much needed breather from scarier parts. And those death animations, whether from the player character or the enemy were VERY realistic. The animation team did a great job.
As for the story...A+. I grew to like every character (yes EVERY character)! The story surprised me in ways I didn’t expect and the characters were well fleshed out. I also appreciated the inclusivity in terms of gender, race and sexuality. Nothing was forced down my throat; ND introduced nuanced characters in a great way. The game left me emotionally drained because the themes were so heavy, yet human. Despite that, I can’t wait to start New Game Plus. I’m ready to be hurt again.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
