    Despite what people say, this game has the best gameplay. And you need to play till the end to see how you feel about the plot. I hated it at first but loved it at the end.

    Shame on Naughty Dog for destroying such an epic franchise in such a disgusting and gruesome way. I am a so glad I cancelled my collectors edition after I saw the leaks. I am a huge fan of the uncharted series, which definitely are masterpieces, but to give this game a 10, so many reviewers got paid....this is definitely a disasterpiece.... I am just going to keep playing my tomb raider,Shame on Naughty Dog for destroying such an epic franchise in such a disgusting and gruesome way.     It is true, the story is not what i expected or wanted, it assumes a lot of risks but fails to deliver in the end. But the gameplay, music and atmosphere are very well done and puts you in the mood. AI on higher dificulties is very engaging and actually you feel like you are haunted by the enemies. Graphics are very well done, especially in open areas and in the tunnels. Though the gameIt is true, the story is not what i expected or wanted, it assumes a lot of risks but fails to deliver in the end. But the gameplay, music and atmosphere are very well done and puts you in the mood. AI on higher dificulties is very engaging and actually you feel like you are haunted by the enemies. Graphics are very well done, especially in open areas and in the tunnels.     Первую часть переплюнуть не удалось, буду честен. Но это всё равно шедевр, в котором нет ни хороших персонажей, ни плохих, у каждого есть мотивация как на ужасные поступки, так и    The Last of Us: Part II - это игра, которую мы заслуживаем, но не та игра, что нужна нашему обществу сейчас!

    Касательно ЛГБТ, ничего в этом плохого не увидел, тем более в игре времени этой тематике уделили не так уж и много, а если брать сцену, в которой есть отношения между мужчиной и женщиной, то там показано в разы больше!

    After some scenes were leaked I joined the hate bandwagon. I genuinely believed the story was a mess and criticised the game and its creators without even going over the whole story.

    I've just completed the playthrough and I'm ashamed of all the hate I gave Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann. The game was actually frickin' incredible. The storyline was multilayered, thrilling, shocking and profound. The characters (along with their dialogues and relationships) were organic, human and didn't feel unnecessary. The graphics were bordering on next-gen. The stealth mechanics were a huge improvement from the first game (which was nearly perfect in its own right).

    To anyone who thinks Naughty Dog failed, play the game or watch a playthrough online before you judge the story based on a few disjointed scenes.

    Its a shame what many reviewers are doing here. to downvote a game because the shown things are not compatible with the own world views is just sad. I played tlou2 and its just awesome! to everyone who did not play the part2: When u liked first game, part2 is also youre game.
    everybody who gave the game zero points, has definitely no taste for good games.

    I just finished the game and it was incredible, Abby and Ellie are great leads and their struggle against eachother hurt me in so many ways.

    This story is fantastic and I genuinely think the people badmouthing this game have NO IDEA what they're talking about.

    9/10. Maybe if I was more upset about visual glitches I'd give it an 8.    … Expand

    Stupid story! Last of us part 2 it's not the continuation of Last of us 1! The story Last of us ended with the 1! The post-apocalyptic world of last of us part 2 is hardly present, apart from a few infected with this! the infected are no longer the main threat as in 1! etc... there are so many flaws in this part 2, and wanting to tell another story in this episode and well, its ended upStupid story! Last of us part 2 it's not the continuation of Last of us 1! The story Last of us ended with the 1!     Really like this game. Mb too dark for me, but still amazing.
    And i really like Abby too. For me she protagonist -like Elly. And i think she very interesting character.
    Im very sad what people hate this game only because "boohoo they killed Joel". Joel amazing character and i like him very much. But Earth did not stop after his death. And "The last of us" never was game about only Joel

    Fantastic sequel, every bit as good as the first. I have no idea what game players who are giving poor reviews actually played, but it couldn't have been TLOU2. This is a must play without a doubt.

    En cuanto a apartado grafico y gameplay el juego esta bien,pero la historia no hay por donde agarrarla.
    La hija de uno de los doctores que mato Joel en el primer juego llamada Abby viene a matarlo por lo que Ellie va en busca de venganza,hasta aca mas o menos bien,pero el problema es que tras presenciar la horrible muerte de Joel nos obligan a jugar con su asesina y tratan de hacer que nos encariñemos con ella,es decir ¿de verdad pretenden que me encariñe con la persona que acaba de matar al protagonista del primer juego?.
    Pero la decepcion no acaba ahi,despues de que Ellie asesina a muchisimas personas para matar a Abby y despues de que renuncia a estar con su pareja con tal de poder matarla pues cuando esta a punto de acabar con ella la deja ir lo cual no tiene ningun sentido,ya que si ella estuva dispuesta a sacrificar tantas cosas y matar tanta gente con tal de llegar hasta Abby pues no tiene logica que la deje vivir,seria como si Kratos despues de asesinar a tantas personas para llegar hasta Zeus al final decidiera dejarlo ir porque "la venganza nunca es buena mata el alma y la envenena".
    El mensaje de este juego esta muy mal contado por 2 motivos:
    1er motivo:si querian mostrar que la venganza es mala pues tendrian que haber hecho que Ellie matara a Abby y luego se diese cuenta de las consecuencias de sus actos y de todo lo que tuvo que perder a cambio de conseguir su objetivo.
    2do motivo:Abby consigue su venganza y no recibe ningun castigo ni tampoco se da cuenta de que lo hizo esta mal,por lo tanto el mensaje real de este juego vendria a ser un:"Algunos pueden conseguir la venganza y otros no".

    Por lo tanto a pesar de los graficos y el gameplay no compensan la mala historia que tiene el juego ya que el mayor atractivo del primer The last of us fue su historia.

    Don't pay attention to the haters. Half haven't even played the game and the other half are just bombing the score because they're mad. The story is what it is. Naughty dog didn't mess it up. They did ruin some characters but intentionally. You are supposed yo not like what your character is doing. Couldn't wait to hop back on and see the next encounter. Or see where the train wreck was heading.

    I do wish there was room for more improvement in the game mechanics. It plays exactly like the first. You like to see innovation in sequels and most of that was in the graphics and animations. The levels are bigger and look amazing. . Enemies are dopes even on hard. It had a small open world segment which I do wish they did more of, it was a very enjoyable and memorable part of the game.

    You're not going to feel like you did after the first game when it's over, but to say the game is bad or the story fails is simply not true.    … Expand

    Pero como secuela de TLOU es una soberana mierda, este tipo de juegos son aquellos cuyo 90% de valor reside en una historia y como esta es narrada, una cosa que una compañía no puede pretender es que tras, en un primer juego maravilloso, cuyo desarrollo de personajes es exquisito, nos traguemos una actitud para nada acorde en los personajes a lo que se presenta y desarrolla en el primer juego.
    Joel y su hermano son presentados como supervivientes, desconfiados, Ellie en pocas semanas de estar con Joel es consciente de que nunca hay que dar el nombre a la ligera, y en esta segunda parte hay un comportamiento totalmente incoherente por parte de los hermanos que no deja de ser una mala excusa para quitar a Joel del medio. Me parece perfecto que se quiera matar a Joel, que se haga de forma humillante, como muere el 99% de la gente de ese mundo post apocalíptico, pero porfavor que esta muerte no se sienta estúpida,es una muerte en la cual el jugador es consciente de que los personajes que una vez fueron presentados, nunca caerian.
    Por otro lado Ellie presenta una incoherencia constante, y no se trata de aquella incoherencia propia de un ser humano, hipocresia, reacciones inesperadas pero naturales, se tratan de reacciones completamente fuera de lugar para un personaje que sabemos lo que ha vivido y conocemos su caracter. Es un juego donde se abusa de perros para hacerte empatizar com Abby, al mismo tiempo que te obligan a matar canes con Ellie. Es un juego que tiene personajes que se introducen como importantes y despues de un tiro en la cabeza nunca mas hay indicio de su existencia, como Jessie. Para hacer esto, no hacia falta una segunda parte, es un **** you a los fanes y a los personajes que amabamos, porque habeis hecho una soberana mierda en cuestiones narrativas y achacais la critica a la homofobia y la alt right. It's like a bully taking your favorite thing in the world and mutilating it. I am saying bullying because makes you play as someone you don't want to play and hurt (minor spoiler) someone you love.

    Why we are playing as that character because they want us to play as her because she is very muscular and strong woman helping trans person.
    Not only that is enough they have to kill (in a brutal undeserved way)the beloved main male character. More so male characters are killed or crippled. I legit didn't notice that at first.
    Creators are clearly pushing the message and I don't have a problem with that but not at that cost. Story is awful and despicable but the message is clear.
    I don't understand why devs don't make individual games like Horizon, hellblade, odyssey. I like those games. Why ruin stuff?    … Expand

    I want my money back, I waited so long for a great story but instead you got an unobtainable revenge, you are forced to play with a character and you know they want you to like it but it won’t happen, your heroes massacred in a nonsense story, great gameplay and music but the story left too much to be desired, THE ENDING IS TERRIBLE!

    I loved last of us 1 and replayed it to death like many other games such as The Witcher 3, and Zero Horizon Dawn to name a few. They ticked all the boxes in terms of delivering a fantastic experience and product. It saddens me to see what has come of Part 2 and thats a problem of it self. If this was a stand alone game it could of atleast been a 'meh' to an 'alright' game but because it had such 'big shoes' and expectations to fill it simply failed.
    As i'm writing this im listing up the game for sale. Something i havent done in 15 years and that it self says alot coming from someone who keeps onto games on the off chance of replaying the game, but i know for certainty I wont be playing this one ever again.
    As a gamer I seek entertainment and escapism to relax and unwind and pretty much boost my 'happiness meter' but this game left such a bad taste in my mouth and feeling miserable. Especially when you take into consideration that I paid for this and paid full price. Its sorrowful to think of all of the employees time, effort and sweat that went into this (especially remembering that 70% of staff left due to being crunched) for it to be...like this.    … Expand

    An incrdible game wich made me feel things i never felt before. First there where things i hated but at the end it all made complete sense. All charakters are great even the "antagonists". A must-play.

I loved seeing the relationship between Joel and Ellie, and sometimes even felt tenderness for Ellie, honestly a touching story. Now in part 2, well it's crap. Who wants to play a story where Joel dies, the main character, and there is homo propaganda and forced diversity?, the making of the story is dull and simple, it is only about revenge. As for physical graphics and animations, excellent and as for gameplay, mediocre. They have killed the saga, 7 years of waiting for this? This is not what we fan wants wanted.… Expand

    Да, я начинаю сразу с самого главного.
    Друзья, Part || - это совсем другая история, другой масштаб и да, совсем другой взгляд на происходящие события. Чтобы дать оценку второй части, нельзя не упомянуть, а что было ДО.

    Если вы играли в первую часть The last of us, то знаете, что её основная тема - это любовь. Игра не оставила равнодушным никого. Душераздирающие сцены и искренние эмоции. Игра стала для многих очень личной. И поэтому вторая часть была особенно ожидаема.

    Но что-то пошло не так.
    Все очень просто - ВЫ НЕ ПОЛУЧИТЕ ТО, ЧТО ЖДЕТЕ ОТ ВТОРОЙ ЧАСТИ.
    Она не о любви.
    Она о НЕНАВИСТИ И МЕСТИ

    Разработчики приняли чрезвычайно рискованное решение. И как показывают оценки, большАя часть фанатов игры оказалась к этому решению не готова.

    А решение очень простое - дать тебе как игроку начать испытывать противоречивые эмоции. Заставлять тебя делать то, что ты не хочешь. В какой-то момент испытывать разобщённость с любимыми персонажами. Ты всеми силами этому сопротивляешься. Но ты знаешь - у тебя нет выбора. И ты идёшь дальше ...

    В какой-то момент я стала испытывать то ужасное чувство, из-за которого у многих игроков так неистово бомбит. Это разочарование (это было ненадолго).

    * НО *

    Если вы отпустите свои ожидания, если вы оставите впечатления от первой части в прошлом, а я очень рекомендую это сделать (хотя бы из уважения к колоссальному труду, проделанному над второй частью), уверяю, игра с гораздо большей вероятностью вызовет у вас положительные эмоции.

    И да, концовка не оставит равнодушным НИКОГО.
    (Игру я прошла вчера, а концовку ещё 3 раза пересмотрела, настолько она потрясающая).

    Вторая часть - чрезвычайно взрослая и эмоционально тяжёлая игра.

    Это уже не типичная линейная история.
    Это не простая мысль, которую мы понимаем в конце.

    Эта игра - совокупность сложнейших эмоций и мрачных сюжетных переплетений.

    Поэтому надо быть к этому готовым. Надо принять это как данность. Мое мнение:
    THE LAST OF US PART || - потрясающая игра. Этот опыт ни с чем не сравним. НИ С ЧЕМ!

    Игра крайне жестока к вашим чувствам и ожиданиям, но дайте себе шанс полюбить эту игру. Вы не пожалеете. P.S.

    1) Если у вас пригорает от ЛГБТ сцен, успокойтесь уже, их совсем мало и они никак не отражаются на геймплее.

    2) Игра гораздо длиннее первой части. Запаситесь терпением и свободным временем.

    3) Лично для меня игра стала страшнее. Приближающийся инфаркт был моим постоянным спутником во время прохождения игры. 4) Мне не хватило запоминающейся музыки. Я безумно люблю треки из первой части. Они сильно влияли на атмосферу. В этот раз композитор игры Густаво Сантаолалья меньше радует. Но игра от этого не хуже.    … Expand

    Was a huge fan of the first game and have been on tenterhooks for this one. An hour in, the death of Joel instantly made my jaw drop, I was ready to hunt down the crew that did it. But then, you play the WLF's side of the game via Abby. I was not happy about this, but over the next 10 hours I realised how much i liked and was invested in her and her friends which then gave me a different perspective on the entire story so far.

    I won't blab on too much about the story but it's so worth playing until the end, it's dark, gross, upsetting but in some weird moments uplifting.

    One of the best Naught Dog games I've ever played.

    As someone who played and beat the game before seeing any spoilers, I thoroughly loved this game. It surpassed the original as a sequel and built on the first across multiple facets; puzzles, combat and even dialogue prompts. I really don't see any of the plot holes people have been complaining about. Sure, Neil's leftist politics have left some brush strokes in this MasterpieceAs someone who played and beat the game before seeing any spoilers, I thoroughly loved this game. Sure, Neil's leftist politics have left some brush strokes in this Masterpiece production, however the characters are far more than just their LGBT labels. There is representation without compromising on the fluidity of the story or the authenticity of the interactions.

    I think the main reason so many people hate the game, is the leaks, which of course should NOT have happened. However, it's not too difficult to avoid having the game spoiled if you know what you are doing online. The second and more pressing issue is how a large portion of the game is spent playing as the antagonist character who kills off a character that is near and dear to the hearts of the audience. The game forces you to try to relate to a character you should naturally hate, and to feel bitterness for a character that you want to remember as this perfect character with no flaws. This is how the devs have made the game as true to life and as true to their characters as possible. In reality there aren't many people who you can say you love unconditionally, due to screw-ups or mishaps on their part. Furthermore, there isn't anybody you feel nothing but hate for. In most cases when you hate somebody, there is pity you feel as well. From my own personal life experience, I know this.

    Without offence to any of the other reviewers or players, hating the game is as valid as loving it; everyone has an opinion. Perhaps people are hating the game for the wrong reasons. Going into the experience already having the story spoiled and having confirmation bias towards the game being bad. Perhaps a lot of the player-base don't have the same life experience and emotional acuity as others to fully comprehend that it's possible to hate somebody while relating to them. Therefore, they may be confusing hate for a character with their feelings for the game.

    This franchise is designed to stir up these kinds of emotions. NaughtyDog set out to make you hate the antagonist character and did a damn good job based on how much backlash the game is getting. They took a risk; it didn't pay off for the majority. People didn't interpret the story the way they wanted them too. Ultimately it was a story of the selfish elements of forgiveness and how harbouring hate can only lead to guilt and losing the people close to you.

    That is the message I interpreted from the story, such was made loud and clear the more I thought back on my experience throughout the game, and is echoed not just in main development arcs, but also in smaller dialogue details too.

    So, to those of you who failed to enjoy the game as intended, I forgive your oversight. I hope that anybody who reads this may see the game through my lens and see a different perspective. They may find themselves playing through it again with this in mind and appreciating it.

    As for the ending, people claiming it wasn't true to the universe or Ellie's character for it to have ended the way it did... I disagree; you are forgetting that she has spent the last 5 years growing up in a relatively peaceful environment of Jackson, surrounded by nothing but community, friends, and intimate relationships. So, to those of you who say it was not true to her character, look again, and think on what I have stated here.

    Now that the elephant is out of the room I can talk about the fun stuff! The graphical detail,
    and sound design is stunning. I only wish the PS4 could run it at higher than 60fps, as at times, panning the camera in big open areas created some stutter, even disabling motion blur didn't alleviate.

    The combat and puzzles are a vast improvement on the first game. I was getting frustrated with some encounters, but very much in a positive way: "Of course that stupid ***** flanked me, why are they so smart, ****!". The complexity and difficulty really stressed the near misses and desperation of the characters.

    I will also be the first to admit that the game is buggy. At one point after I messed with the camera settings, if i backed up into a corner a lot of the environment would disappear allowing me to see where infected or enemy AI were lurking. The AI itself is also buggy at times, with allies walking in front of you as you line up a shot, and enemy AI repeating dialogue prompts on loop. Did it ruin the experience? No, it’s a nit-pick at smaller details. The main issue people have is with the story, which I sincerely hope with another playthrough people will see things in a different light.

    Overall, what a rollercoaster of emotions. Even if the negative reviews put you off, I would strongly recommend playing the game at least once. There are lessons to be learnt here.

Beautiful graphics that take full advantage of the PS4's hardware. Exciting, emotional, and provocative. Do not listen to crybabies on the internet, try the game out for yourself.

BUT I can't give this game above 0 because the plot is so contrived, nosense and disrespectful that it's impossible, as a great fan of the first game, to give this STORY DRIVEN game somewhat credit.

    This is not the TLJ or GoT S8 of videogames, this is worse.
    The plot is a mess from the beginning because it's a dreadful retcon of the first game ending, saying that the Fireflies would have created a vaccine and saved the world, when it's clear throughout the first game that they're just an incompetent and dangerous group of terrorists.
    All the og characters are completely different, they range from their true personality to their new one in a second, they're lunatic and make A LOT of stupid decisions, only to make the plot move forward. All the death scenes are so random and meaningless that the player reaches a point where he doesn't care anymore.
    There are a lot of new characters and the game tries to make us empathize with each one using a lot of subplots in the span of 20/25 hours, making the complete plot even more contrived.
    The message of the game is "revenge bad", but fulfilling one's desire of revenge is ultimately rewarded, because Abby (killer of Joel) gets revenge for her dad (firefly surgeon) and in the end she gets away with it and reunites with the fireflies, while Ellie loses everything and everyone in her path for revenge, and in the end she spares Abby, remaining lonely, defeated and hollow.
    If you're a fan of The Last of Us, you will hate this, and you'll come to hate the writers.    … Expand

Because it's not a story about a revenge. It's a story about forgiveness. Joel decided to save Ellie instead of making a vaccine and saving humanity. He made a selfish choice and it damaged his relation with Ellie and later on Ellie decided to hunt Abby down in California and that damaged her relationship with Dina. Ellie wanted to try to forgive Joel for what he's done and then he got killed for his actions. It's a masterpiece in storytelling. The best game I've ever played right after the first TLOU.… Expand

    Техническое исполнение на каком-то космическом уровне. Очень порадовало то, как игра выглядит на старой PS4 fat. Игра нереально красива. PS4 fat тянет игру абсолютно без проблем, за все прохождение не было моментов, когда консоль пыталась бы взлететь, и это при таком уровне графики. Шок.
    Облазил все локации вдоль и поперек. Огромное спасибо команде ND за то, сколько сил они вложили в игровой мир, за его наполнение, визуальное исполнение, и внимание к деталям. Стадион ВОФ рассматривал по деталям, читал вывески...очень-очень круто. Многие пишут о том, что игра скучная и затянутая, но я не понимаю как в таком мире можно скучать. Возможно, скучно тем, кто старался максимально быстро пробежать сюжет игры, и увидеть концовку. Даже без стрельбы, просто изучать и рассматривать этот мир, мне было интересно. В этой игре сделал скринов гораздо больше, чем в любой игре до этого. Такого восторга визуал еще нигде не вызывал.
    Расчлененка в игре сделана идеально. Подрывать кого-то на мине, попадать взрывающимися стрелами, отстреливать конечности - оооочень круто.
    Не понимаю возмущений касательно лгбт. Какой-то агитации в игре не заметил. Да, главная героиня предпочитает девушек, но этому уделено не так много времени в игре. Нулей за это, игра явно не заслуживает.
    Понравилось сценарное решение сначала показать нам персонажей с плохой стороны, дать нам их убить, а потом провести по сюжету, где эти же персонажи еще живы, и раскрываются с положительной стороны. Особенно было жаль собак... Всю первую половину пригорал с того, что разрабы говорили, что у каждого персонажа будет свое имя, его будут связывать отношения с другими людьми, блогеры говорили о том, что из-за этого хочется меньше убивать. Но на меня это никак не влияло. Да, человека назвали по имени, кто-то громко крикнул его имя, ну и что? После того как начался сюжет за Эбби, отношение к этому полностью поменялось. Даже у каждой собаки есть подписанная клетка, у людей есть свои интересы, свой круг общения. Вообще твист с показом истории с другой стороны мне очень зашел. Как и вся сюжетная линия Эбби, которая оказалось очень хорошей по наполненности, и по действию. Для меня её мотивация и поступки куда более понятны, чем у той же Элли. Похожа на мужика? Так опять же, мотивация столько тренироваться понятна, она не была спрятана куда-то глубоко. Что бы это показать, целый диалог был...У Эбби, как по мне, получился куда более мрачный сюжет чем у Элли. Ей пришлось гораздо больше потерять, и больше преодолевать.

    The Last of Us: Part II is so alienated and full of itself, it essentially imploded in the storytelling department (something which garnered fans and made the first game so notable was its compelling story). The sequel is just so problematic in so many areas.

    There's a good base from the previous game for a plot with revenge as the central theme. The game completely wasted that potential when the story's execution was botched. The build up of the plot was so lacking, most of the character's decisions made little to no sense. The narrative fails to make you truly understand these pivotal decisions in the plot, as well as align your intentions with the game's. In addition to plotholes, there just so happens to be some awkward and unnecessary, almost petty-like, dramatics that don't seem to correlate to the main plot. I can't help but feel as if it was obvious were trying to add these for extra drama and sympathy points for the characters.

    Speaking of which, the characters and their relationships felt so lackluster, and to some extent even forced upon the player. It's especially hard to empathize. Again, this is because of the story is so messy and the plot so misplaced, they threw away opportunities to develop these characters properly and essentially add more depth to the story. Mishandling these characters was just an honest mistake at this point.

    Lastly, there is the unjustified ending. Not all endings are happy ending, I know since we are dealing with The Last of Us series, but after playing through to the end it just fails to make the players feel like they've earned THAT ending. The payoff afters hours of gameplay fell short of expectations and players were robbed of, not necessarily good but, a justified ending. A good narrative would have succeeded with that. This game does not.

    Gameplay and graphics-wise the game is very good, this is its salvaging aspect. I recommend you don't play the first The Last of Us to avoid total disappointment.

    Overall, I did not enjoy The Last of Us: Part II as much as I was hoping to. In comparison to its predecessor, the game not only failed to perform on par with its most significant aspect, the story, but instead just took a big leap backwards.    … Expand

To keep it short: If you aren't sure if to buy it and never saw anything from the first Part, leave it and spend the money on something better. The gameplay is pretty nice, like the graphics. Its a story relevant game. And that's where it fails. The story is horrible and so poorly made. Its supposed to be a game of the adventure of Ellie and Joel. You play 49% Ellie, 50% Abby and poor 1% Joel. In my impression in total this game is made of 30% Ellie, 30% Abby, 30% cut scenes and 10% loading screens. That's it. I even accidentally skipped the death of Joel and just saw what happened in my second playthrough and I still don't know, what happened with Tommy, because I was and still am so annoyed of those cutscenes. Why do you make us play the killer of Joel for half of the game? Add some more backround story of Abby, before she kills Joel, so we can feel why she did that. The death of Joel is so poorly made. My tip for Naughty Dog: Remove the really poor death of Joel and sell it as a spin-off. This franchise did'nt deserve such a bad continuation. Its an absolute money waste. I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition. The Collectors Edition, content and figure is really nice, but I wasted 230€ in total for this game. My expectation was really high, when I started this game. Fun went to 0 in minutes. Just grinded for the platinum trophy (when I received it, super rare with 0.3%), packed the blu-ray back in the box and gone in the basement. Save your money, don't buy it. If you really want it, wait for a sale. Don't buy it at least for the full price.… Expand

Grandisimo juego, las mejoras en el game play respecto al primero son muy buenas, el juego te da la opción del steal o convertirte en rambo, esto ultimo pude parecer fuera de lugar pero se resuelve jugando en los niveles de dificultad mas altos, por dos cosas no le pongo 10, primero la participación de los infectados creo que pudo ser mejor ya no causa tanta tensión encontrartelos y el segundo es que la historia principalmente en la primera mitad tiene un par de momentos que rompen el ritmo, la historia a mi me gusto mucho, creo que no va a ser del agrado de todos ya que se aleja de una manera muy poco común del camino del héroe que normalmente encuentras pero el resultado me dejo satisfecho, el final del primero creo que es uno de los mejores de la historia y en esta secuela si juzgas solamente por ese aspecto el juego anterior sale triunfante por su ambiguedad, sin embargo a mi parecer analizando la experiencia completa the last of us part 2 esta a la altura.… Expand

I played the rest of the game for him as he watched and in the end what he said broke my heart "Is that it? Why did they do that?", he was sad about how ruined the story was and what they have done to the characters that he loved from the first game.     I have so many feelings about this game. Things I wished would've went differently. Some things went over the top. But in the end, I felt what they wanted me to feel. It could have been done differently but they did what they did and made an intense story. This game may age better than you think...I hope. Glad I played and will play again. With a heavy heart.     Fantastic game, surprisingly better than the 1st. Again it has great visuals, gameplay, story & characters. This game is definitely not for the vaint hearted. It's grim, sad, visceral, heartbreaking, but it has some light powerful moments too. Only negatives are I felt they could of added abit more gameplay variety to the already stellar gameplay mechanics. And also not being able to useFantastic game, surprisingly better than the 1st. No puedo comprender a las personas que según defienden este titulo, sinceramente y me expreso, te dicen homofobico o que no eres lo suficientemente maduro, miren sus propios argumentos cegados por el hecho de que 25 horas de gameplay fueron de los "Realistas" de sus vidas, primero que nada, este juego es en un apocalipsis, sacan a un personaje de la nada y mata al personaje principal en las primeras horas de juego solo a conveniencia y sin respetar en nada la VERDADERA obra maestra que fue el primero, la narrativa opaca al maravilloso trabajo técnico del equipo que pasaron 15 horas diarias detallando todo para que al menos la experiencia no fuera así de mala 3/10 solo este juego es la total forma de que imponer ideologias de forma forzada no trae nada, ademas de ser un gran ejemplo de que para gustos hay colores, y me atrevo a decir que los que dicen que es "masterpiece" tienen los peores gustos y 0 argumentos mas alla de los mismos para defender su pobre juego.… Expand

    Me gusto la historia, cuando más ocupaba a abby, más lástima sentía de ella, ver que perdió a todos y solo le quedó lev.
    Cuando llegue al final ver tan flaca a abby Y mal a lev me daba lástima que muriera pero Era la venganza, pues comprendí que aunque ellie no pudo perdonar a Joel lo hizo con abby Recordando a Joel fue triste pero bueno el juego

    This is genuinely the worst piece of hot garbage I’ve ever played and is totally derailed from the other last of us games. There’s no interesting points and all SJW and LGBTQ related which is fine but I play video games to not live inside a drama and to actually feel immersed and like I’m playing a game I’m not absurdly embarrassed to be playing . Never buy this it’s a mistake

A lot of players are upset because of the new dimension given to the story (vs TLOU) and the twist in the plot which is in my opinion brilliant.     You have to finish the game to really embrace the whole experience. It is true that either you like it either you hate it. Talking about the gameplay, it is much more dynamic than in the first one and there are more possibilities in terms of guns, upgrades, combo...I thought it was harder than the first one as well. If you are really looking for challenges, the extreme mode will be more than satisfying. On the downside, I think that the game could have been a little bit shorter. Cut off some flashbacks and some areas. In conclusion : powerful.    … Expand

    Terrible game. Completely disrespected and undid the entire first game. The revenge story line made for an extremely useless and un-fulfilling plot. I've waited under 6 years to play this sequel and I cannot express how disappointed I am.

    It's a good game, but force inclusion, repetitive mechanics on gameplay, and the confused storyline decisions in the last part, deserves a 9 and not a 10 of a truly masterpiece

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
