The gameplay is just phenomenonal, the map gives you the feel of an open-world and there is a lot of things to explore. The environment and the ways you can react with objects is really good too.
It really sucks that there were leaks and that helped the game get even more hate. I personally loved it and it's more than i could have asked for. Congratulations to Naughty Dog for making this masterpiece!

It somehow justifies almost everything and you sympathize with everyone. Essentially the game (and the franchise) highlights brutal humanity in the finest way possible. Though I'll agree that the ending was quite stretched out and felt a little unnecessary, and there are a few parts that irritated me a little. But overall still a good game. Expand

Well, I would have to say that the people giving this game 0 to 3 ratings are overreacting quite a bit. That said, many of the complaints people have about this game are totally valid. That said, many of the complaints people have about this game are totally valid. For large parts of the story, characters show little to no emotion about anything that's going on, and everyone is just hellbent on revenge, no matter how alien their indifference to murder might seem to their character. Ellie and Tommy spend no time thinking about how, just maybe, Joel kind of brought his fate on himself. Ellie herself says that she doesn't think she can forgive Joel for what he did in TLOU 1, so why on earth would the people on the other side of the equation be able to forgive him? To them, and I would imagine to most who played the game, Joel is, well, kind of f'ing evil. Ellie and Tommy are decently intelligent people, and yet they never even begin to explore any internal conflict or potential empathy with those they seek vengeance against. It's super frustrating. Even when that development does happen within the space of literally 1 second near the end of the game, it isn't explored or questioned, but just kind of happens out of nowhere in a relieving but pretty dumb way. That, at least, is my main beef with the game.

As for actually playing the game, it's really similar to the first installment. The mechanics are more or less the same, but smoothed out a bit (I only found the game clunky in a few ways that didn't impact my enjoyment terribly. The shooting felt really smooth, though), and the skill trees/supply gathering at all very familiar. I wouldn't say that's a bad thing, really. It might have been interesting to add some new elements, but it could also have just bogged down an already decently robust combat system. It's super stressful at points, as we would expect, but does an okay job of breaking up the really creepy bits with only somewhat creepy bits. Definitely more jump scares than I would have liked.

The acting is as good as you would expect. Shannon Woodward does a great job as Dina, who despite a limited role is a bit of a highlight of the game (despite apparently having 0 judgement), as does Laura Bailey as Abby, who actually I thought was pretty cool but to each their own. The thing is, the interactions between the main characters and their companions are really good, but just don't really happen enough and generally aren't as deep as you might like.

With most of the negative out of the way, the game is actually pretty good. It's not ground breaking like its predecessor, but that is an insanely high bar. Character development does fall a bit flat, but that doesn't make the story entirely bad. the POV change part way through I actually found really interesting and refreshing. Playing through the second half makes you view the first half in new context, a context that even still isn't really explored enough in games. The game also looks great and for the most part is fun to play, though there is definitely some padding in there. The ending is, well, it's not what you want. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. On the one hand there is some poetry to it that contains a nuance the rest of the game can't seem to find, but on the other hand something is just... missing. There is a definitive lack of closure and honestly postmodern endings are just not it anymore. Still, I can't help but feel that this game's biggest flaw is that it's the sequel to The Last Of Us, and perhaps it was never possible to recapture that depth. Everything about it is seems cool, and on the surface level is cool, but isn't fleshed out. In most games I really don't think that would be a big deal, but here it is. I want to get to know Lev and Yara more, I want to know more about the Seraphites, about how WLF came to be and what they want. I want to learn more about Dina's story, I want there to be stretches of the story where literally everyone you meet doesn't want to kill you on sight, because so much of the game is actually really cool and good, but so little of it is embellished on.

Basically, this game is that is really, really good, except there's too much of what you don't really want, and not enough of what you do want, and so while I still enjoyed playing it (a lot!), there were too many flat moments for it to stand out as a truly great game. I really hope they consider a trilogy, because I know there's enough still there to make something remarkable.

And also all the people complaining about how it's too intersectional can gtfo.

I owned it on PS3 then bought it on PS4 for the upgraded graphics, TLOU Part II is a terrible story - it's like it was written by someone that had no connection at all to the 1st TLOU. The only connections I made to this story was when I play Ellie or the flashbacks to Ellie and Joel (loved the spaceship launch part - I cried). When I had to play as Abby I felt nothing (no fear of dying, didn't care, no joy at her victories, didn't care, no sympathy for her when she was hit or hurt or taken captive, didn't care). I want to give this a 0 but due to the graphics, scenery, game mechanics and playing as Ellie I give it a 3. I will tell you that I wont be buying it when it comes out on PS5 and I will never buy a Naughty Dog game again on the faith that you actually give a crap about your fans. Naughty Dog has the right to make a story that they own the rights to and I have the right to not to give them my money unless they earn my business back with thoughtful well written story driven games like TLOU1. Sure the visuals and graphics were stunning - I was expecting that - and the the gameplay was decent, but masterpiece? GTFOH with that BS. I wanted to give this a 0, but I'm trying to be somewhat objective. You kill Joel in the first couple of hours and then make us play as Abby and expect us to feel some kind of empathy for her? WTF!? Joel was beloved, and in comes this crazy b*tch who we have no background knowledge or understanding of who bludgeons his face in with a golf club. I was looking for ways to kill her as I played her. Then, Ellie goes on a killing rampage to avenge Joel - the only reason I stayed to the end - but she lets Abby go because love trumps hate or something? Dumpster fire. This game was bait and switch on crack and one huge middle finger to those who loved the original. I will never play it again.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It would be so easy for me to trash this game for ten straight paragraphs but I’ll keep it short... Everything about the first game fans loved was almost completely done away with. The only parts I enjoyed were a few flashback sequences with Joel. Everything else was poorly written and executed. Naughty Dog decided to go the political route, when all fans wanted was to see the main characters of the first game continue their journey together. The graphics were amazing, like we all knew they would be, but everything else felt empty and literally pointless. Nothing is achieved with this story and the characters do not grow in any way. Joel’s arc was utterly disgraceful and his character disrespected. Ellie is not relatable in this at all compared to the first installment. My only hope is that the fans’ disappointment will help other gaming studies learn how to write better and not make the same mistake twice. I hope. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To be honest,
Joel acts so much out of character.
He was always cautious and never trusted anyone new, understandably considering how Sarah died in part 1.
He would never put himself in such a vulnerable state among people he just met.
I understand why he had to go however I feel like it could have been done better without disrespecting the character.
It feels shallow and a cheap way to get people to feel the need for vengeance.

However, if there is justice in vengeance.
Then such justice will only breed more vengeance.
Thus triggering an eternal cycle of hatred.
This is the flaw of every revenge plot.

Ellie takes too long to feel the guilt of her actions to the point where it seems comical.
Right after murdering countless people to get there.
The game betrays the original characters to fit the narrative and introduces new ones that no one cares about.

People played the first game for the relationship between Ellie and Joel and the search for light even in the darkest of worlds.
Ellie and Joel were not heroes or the good guys, they were survivors.
This game betrays all of that for a story of unearned vengeance against characters we don't care about , then the game tries to do a spin on perspective and asks us to buy into their drama.
It's a narrative disaster which could have done way better with some proper order and storyline structure

otherwise, The game is a technical marvel and is gorgeous in every sense of the word.

I cried my eyes out, and even after the shock- I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I even laid awake restless the night after I played. Naughty Dog does not understand how much Joel meant to us, or they just don't care, regardless of either, I will not be finishing this game. Some folks are upset about the story, saying that characters do or do not 'deserve' certain things and that ND totally blew it. I could not disagree more. The story fits the brutal tone of the last of us world, provides several twists along the way, and concluded in the way I hoped for by the end of the journey. This game may not be the story that you specifically wanted for these characters, but it's a damn good tale all the same.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Spoiler alert... Great visual, great action, great CG and Characters design, but...
If the studio wants to keep sharing the same game title: The Last Of Us, they'd better concern more about how the players would react to how the game is turning in PART II.
I don't mind if the story designed Joel's death in the game, but at least not at the first couple of hours of entering the story. It ruined the player's tie with the main character. We have all invested emontionlly into Joel throughout the first LastOfUs game. Framing Joel's death in the first 2 hours in PART II? That just ruined my mood for the rest of the game play. I have no enjoyment at all. I did not care how Ellie and Dina explore the city of Seattle at all. All the time they spent in the city were waste of time in my opinion. Yet, getting the revenge isn't what I care either. There is no close tie between the game characters and us - the true player behind the controller. The PART II has lost what made it popular in PART I.
I appreciate the game developers who put their time and efforts in developing this game, but I believe they would be appreciated much much more if the story wasn't what it is right now. There are a lot gaps and holes in the way how the game tells its story. Constant memory flashback did not change the fact that as player I have no interest in going any further with the game.
To respect my money spent on this game, I at least want to finish the game once so I have played through the whole game before start writing my reviews and comments. I am giving the score of 5 for the whole game. But if scoring only the story telling and structure, I would give 3 instead.
Next time, I won't trust any reviews came out prior to the release date. It appears all of those popular reviewers are afraid of putting negative reviews. There are definitely "controllers" around this. I don't like the false review, especially for the games that I loved.

We get it, Ellie is a lesbian (that’s been clear from the spin off game), but the writers find a way to constantly remind viewers of some character’s sexuality every 10 minutes. The sex scene was also so unnecessary. It just feels like the writers would have preferred to make **** videogame porn instead. Expand

Watched streams on twitch, no emotional attachment to any new characters at all, the characters are boring and forced. Why would the player control a boring character half of the game and the plot doesn’t make any sense.

Will buy 2nd hand game disc for this when everyone turn in at game stores and kill Abby to ease my mind when I control her.

Joel’s death was gruesome and grim just as it should be—The Last of Us is a terrifying world and the characters are beaten down by it. Anything else would have been doing a disservice to the bleak world NaughtyDog created in the first game. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but I think NaughtyDog went a bold direction and explored what it means to be vengeful, what the cost of violence is, and how even those we grew to love in the first game are flawed and corrupted by the world and what they see around them. I'm just sick of that obsolete gameplay. Lou1, uncharted 1,2,3,4 - how many third person clones are we going to get? And the social/political message of this game is absolutely destructive. Avoid this pile of garbage.

This is a genuinely well made game. Hats off to ND. Sure, there are sections where the game felt like it was dragging - this happened in the second half, where i wanted to proceed further with the story while the game kept throwing more enemies and levels at me. This is my only complaint. Apart from that, this game is phenomenal.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly, i was the biggest fan of the last of us series. When waiting 7 Years for this game I was highly disappointed with what I received. The game was absolutely beautiful, Scenes and graphic were on point and we got to play as Ellie so I thought. This game could of been so much better, Storyline was very badly executed. I remember in the teaser trailer of TLOU2 we saw Ellie and Joel in the overgrown town and myself I was very excited thinking it would be a switch from TLOU1 and we play as Ellie with Joel besides us. Naughty dog milked us into thinking Joel would be with us in the story but into the game they killed him off. I was highly displeased with the trailers as they were just for revenue and sales for this game + the Leaks and all the controversy with this game really let it down.

    2. Abby, Like seriously how many people has Joel killed and you don't see some buff women seeking revenge 2 hours in TLOU2. They dedicated too much time for her in this game as she really did not need to be played by the consumers of this game. It would have been better if we had known she was seeking revenge but no game time should of been put into her. The big issue with this game is they were trying to keep up with modern society and the LGBTQ movement. Though I don't have an issue with Ellie and her Sexuality it was a big let down knowing they had 7 years and the s*x scenes were just horrible and uncalled for + with the whole Abby S*x scene it was the worst thing I've ever seen, Far cry had better scenes. The killing of Joel by Abby could of been a very good Plot for the game. It would give Ellie an excuse to seek revenge for everyone that "wronged her" yeah well the Main person that "wronged you" got a jail free card at the end because you felt bad that Joel would not want you to do this but you have killed 200+ people to get where you are.

At the end of the day, the game was somewhat enjoyable the Ai were super realistic and communicative which I enjoyed + the WLF faction and the Seraphites where something I enjoyed being added. But I think there was more fighting in the factions more than Ellie seeking revenge for Abby killing Joel, therefore, me rating it 2/10 from someone that has played the game.

The game maintains its human and emotional atmosphere to tell an extremely violent but necessary story, not only for Ellie but also for the new character Abby. History certainly speaks of revenge but, moreover, it speaks of the feeling that carries such path and its consequences, both physical and psychological, as its creator (Neil Druckmann) described, a cycle of violence. The game has beautiful graphics, impeccable mechanics and, there is no way not to comment, a spectacular sound mix, both with its music (composed by Gustavo Santaolalla) and with the sound of the environment and of each action that the characters perform, leaving the experience even more intense.

It makes me sad and frustrated to see the negative criticisms for this game, especially those that refer only to the fact of the sexual orientation of some characters, but the disgust for the plot and the decisions made by the characters makes it seem that many people did not play the entire game, or they played expecting something more artificial. They forget that in this game four years passed after the events of the first part, and that lives changed for several reasons during that time, some for the better and others for the worse. Once again I comment, this game is completely human and it is necessary for the player to be open to explore the feelings that the game provides. Both those of anger and those of peace, even because we find more than one person, who live their lives completely different from each other, but their ability to have emotions is what equals each other and in the end is what matters most.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Everyone is hating this game because they kill off Joel. But you have to appreciate the game for what it is. A beautiful, dark and twisted revenge story. And nothing else would drive Ellie, or you as the player for that matter to hunt down someone to this length. It was really the only choice and it works brilliantly. As a massive fan of the first game I was devastated by Joel's death. It made me cry I will admit, but it made me realise how dam good the writing is to get that much of a reaction from me. This game is a dark, ponderous reflection of humanity and what hatred can be for motivation. And how that can affect someone afterwards. You have to accept the game for what it is, and not see it as less because what you didn't want to happen happened. This is the best game I have ever played. And that's big as a huge fan of the first game. If you remove expectations for what you wanted the game to be, then you will love it. This is a masterpiece. Also, there’s a kind of “forced philosophical sense” guiding the whole story. A meaningless death written just to make big impact and generate controversy. What about having to play the killer? Makes no sense after all we lived back in 2013. I was unable to create empathy at any time, I just felt more disgusted ‘bout herself ‘n her allies. Lots of hours playing as Abby... It’s boring. I also think that Druckmann tried to work out feminist guidelines, but it got even worse. A pregnant woman who jumps off buildings and scaffolding, climbs stairs. Hilarious. Humanly impossible. Lots of unnecessary mental subjects to a game that aims to be entertainment. Anything about it is cool. Maybe the gameplay and the graphics, but, what about the most expected story? This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Instead of continuing with Ellie and Joel's story arc, they used Part II for generic messages about how war and revenge are wrong while ignoring the character development that was accomplished in the previous LoU.

The original characters were disrespected by the story writers and the characters decisions felt forced for a lazy revenge plot.
The plot that most players wanted to play through was reduced to 3-4 flashbacks.
Playing as Abby felt like a chore just to move forward in the story and fighting the original protagonist as Abby was appalling.

Removing a character's fingers to symbolize the loss of their last connection with another character because they can't play guitar anymore? A golf club being used as a symbol of the patriarchy? The story writing is so cringey it's a joke lol

I'm all for a game that supports LGBTQ+ but Naughty Dog using that to dismiss consumers negative reviews of the game due to issues only involving the story is the opposite of progressive.

I really liked the first game and this game does have a lot of improvements including the graphics, some gameplay, and the voice acting.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved the original Last of Us, and Ellie's spin off prequel, but this sequel destroyed the IP for me. It wasn't because of what happened to Joel, or how it happened. It wasn't for the progressive stuff (I loved that side of Ellie's back-story.) And it wasn't the revenge arc, or the sudden appearance of an omniscient and omnipotent antagonist who was only written into the game to force a narrative. My issue with the game is how after Joel is removed from the story we are forced to play as the person who removes him.

We are also forced to watch some pointless sex scene with that character, one that no body asked for (and thankfully Japan censored.) We are also forced to later kill that monster's dog as Ellie, even though we were told we wouldn't have to kill the dog. The ten hours we play as the antagonist were a total waste, and did nothing other than make the open wound of Joel's uncharacteristic demise fester over. I would have given this game an 8.1 if we had the option to skip playing as the antagonist, but because they forced that on us, after such a heart-wrenching moment no less, I can't even fathom giving such a high-score.

As stated above, it was fine how Joel was removed, but what wasn't fine is my time being wasted playing a character I wanted revenge on. That moment was enough for me to get into character to want revenge, I didn't need her story, or elaboration to make her into a human, she was marked from that moment. All of that said, I loved the parts with Ellie. She should have taken up the entire screen time of this game. The graphics were amazing, the romance and setting were amazing, the story was sub par with some cringe lines, but overall most parts of the game, minus forced player swap and lack of choices, were amazing.

Speaking of choices, the ending was horrible. I know choices are hard to put into games, but giving the player options is what makes a story driven game great. A few examples are The Witcher, Mass Effect, and Telltale The Walking Dead. In the Witcher (1-3) every choice changed the world, and it drove you to make new choices for different playthroughs. The choices in Mass Effect sculpted the world all the way to the third game, and then it sort of dropped the ball, but it was still good. In Telltale every road lead to the same ending, but you wanted to explore every path to see how the journey was different. Instead of giving us some agency, even if it was a false choice, the game lead us down a narrow path with spikes on the wall and a gun to our back. We were told we didn't have to kill the dog, but instead we killed the dog in a QtE. We were forced to exact revenge on everyone around us, but when it came to the big bad we "chose" peace.

Realistically this game should have been split up into two parts, but it's too late for that now. We are stuck with the one ending we have, regardless of how bitter it is for the player... because lets be honest, Joel was no saint, he would never of spared anyone if it meant keeping the ones he loves safe.

All of that said, I originally mentioned how I would give this game an 8.1/ 10. That would have been the score if the game didn't force you to play as the antagonist. The reason it isn't higher is because of the lack of choices and cringe dialog. Even at it's finest this game is not a 10/10, that is a score only a select few games truly deserve and handing it out to the hot new game of the season spoils the prize. On the flip side, this game is also not a 0/10. The antagonist did rune a lot of the game, but that is the role of a foil in a story. The graphics, game-play, and sub par story still bring the game up well past a 5.0, but spitting in the face of loyal fans who have patiently waited seven years for a sequel is no way to earn good faith for future projects. Personally, after the drama surrounding this game I will likely never buy another Naughty Dog game, at least not new. I wanted this game to be great, and it could have been, but it feels like the core story was lost during the seven years of crunch. For my final score, I give this game a 5.3, but since I can only give whole numbers the score will have to be a 5/10. I hope Naughty Dog learns from the backlash and remembers who they make games for (ps, it's for the fans.) If they add an option to skip the ten hours of forced antagonist play, I will gladly boost the score up to an 8.1.

Expand

The Last of Us Part 2 makes two huge mistakes in its narrative structure. One massive, the other unforgivable.

As per my promise of no spoilers in my review I will share that this game's narrative structure could have worked and left a compelling and thought-provoking impact on the players but with the two issues alluded to previously it falls apart and from those points forward, the game loses any emotional impact and is finishes with an unresolved and unearned conclusion.

Games as an experience are perfectly welcome, but without proper narrative structure, the experience falls flat.

Unfortunate. I hope they don't make these mistakes in the future.

Golden seals for the acting and the visuals of the game. Ashley Johnson as Ellie being the main focus performed flawlessly and deserves the praise. Everyone else, they were fine, no real complaints from the performances.

The characters of The Last of US Part 2 were much more narrow and unfocused than Part 1. Which really hurt any connection one might develop to them and certain character deaths remain without impact.

Despite Laura Bailey's incredible work with Abby, the character was simply set up to be despised from the start. And all the attempts to make her understood failed miserable. I again refer to the poor narrative structure that caused this.

I congratulate the economical success this game is. But, as a player and fan, I am immensely disappointed.

Sat there forever trying to come to grips that I have to play this character just to wrap up the story. It's a struggle to get through that part just for "oh hey killing is bad guys" after murdering hundreds of people and... good bois. I can't bash in the skull of Joel's murderer? No choice just... nah. Game play is basically the same but no issue there. Graphics are exceptional if that's all you care about. 1 point just for great graphics and voice acting. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So what does it take for a game to receive a perfect zero?

Allow me to elaborate. A perfect zero is when a game is so devoid of awareness of it's predecessor, that it completely revokes any themes, character development, symbolism, or motives of not only itself but also the previous franchise title. It shoots itself in the foot, and in doing so, pointlessly murders the previous game that is crushed under its boot. The story of The Last of Us left us with a comfort of where our characters were, what they believed in, what they lived for, how they loved each other. On that note, they also established their skills, their abilities, their instincts. All of these were shattered in Part II. Joel is no longer attentive and assertive, Ellie is no longer endearingly sensitive, the characters become horrible shadows of what made them strong in the first game. And what do we get for it? Nothing. The game's linear storytelling riddled with plot holes and glaring pandering stereotypes leave us dumbfounded at what we just put ourselves through. It leaves us heartbroken, and it shows us exactly how much time we just wasted. It doesn't leave resolution, it doesn't fix any issues, it's not cohesive, it doesn't abide by anything fulfilling. It's is a plate of burnt crust when what you asked for was a sublime pizza with all the toppings. The most glaringly obvious problem with this game is how much they definitively changed to try and be different. It's deliberate, it's insulting, it's pandering to the completely wrong audience. It's unaware, it's foolish, and it doesn't even retain the sense of fear that the first game thrives on. The moment Joel dies, the game was no longer interesting, because that's who made the story interesting. Joel. His ability to survive, his struggle, his mentorship, his morals, his values, his selfishness. He died a so easily it was not even believable. So then where are we?

In a messy cross between the worst parts of the plots of Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and John Wick, we are given nothing, no retribution, no justice, no feeling of accomplishment. Only a feeling of disappointment. This is capitalizing on the trend of sadness which was popular about 5 years ago. Too little, too late. In the time of a pandemic, civil unrest, and injustice we escape to a world of terrible pacing, threadbare character development, no progression, and we feel more sad. This is not rewarding. This is not pleasure. This is not a video game. It is a poorly written novel that would be lost to time in any other format. It's a fool's errand and it should rot for eternity.

This is a solid game. I am probably over halfway through it and I have not come across anything I would consider overly negative. One annoyance is with how brittle weapons are. I wish they tweaked how easily a pipe or machete breaks. It is like maybe 4 kills and that is with repairing/upgrading them. Maybe this gets better with more upgrades that I don't have yet.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am a TLOUS fan and I can only give my most sincere prise to the team. I love distopic stories such as “The Road”or “The Walking Dead” TLOUS2 is just simply a master-piece.

What I like the most is the astounding scenarios, characters, they way the trolled us in the trailers to not spoil us anything and...how they have changed the way I see the main characters.

I started hated Abby (Abbigail) for killing Joel while I finished the game loving her (forbiding her for that action) and hating Ellie.

This video-game toys with you psicology and simply shows how simply you can get killed. In TLOUS2 there are not “Potions”, “Phoenix Down” or super-heroes. They are as much realistic as they can so you will see lots of characters being killed in a very simple and realistic way...that’s life my friends...

Furthermore, TLOUS2 triesto show the scale of grey colours people have. There are no bad or good people, it is just depends on the side of the coin/team you are seeing.

It is super-sad that people are complaing about this game because there are LGTBQI+ characters or people of other color or religions. Thanks Naughty Dog for being so brave and create such a master-piece.

    The end is just amazing...

He is a survivor and don’t trust anyone and then he go all in into a house full of armed strangers and say his name for who could wanna know... it just doesn’t fit easy. Tried to thing that he relaxed after living some years into a trustful town/society, that Ellie changed him and after the Firefly massacre he tried to change for her, bit it still seems forced. But even with this the game is almost perfect and the best one for ps4. Not by far the “zeros” that so many “gta generation” are putting here, bit they have the right. And I tgink, and gope, that there will (or at least would be before so many haters) a third part for the story, by the way that this one developed and finished, bit who knows.

Great gameplay. Suberb graphics. About the story, at the beginning I found it frustrating, but after finishing the game I found it great.

Think in it taking “Game of Thrones” perspective. No one is so important that could not die (in stupid ways sometimes) and the story goes on for another characters independent and without show it to us.

I personally disliked the need to show Ellie has homossexual into the dlc at the first game (probably to creat polemic, not because she is homo, but cause she is the only immune being, and in a apocalyptic world it means no immune decendents), and it is cause the last midia histories are tending to show all strong and independent womans as homossexual, and this isn’t true. But they showed the relationship of the main in a good way.

No confusing or unrealistic end for me, it was the enconter of two opposites: one going from a vengeance ravok that turned her into a monster and after fuffiling it started to think at the worngness of all that and being tired of the killing (Abby), thanks for the changes and deaths of her friends and being save by enemies morr than one time; other one finally finding a good life and than loosing it in a violent way, turning herself a monster, making her loose sleep, friends, love, home, until in the end she realize that fulfilling it would bring her nothing, abandoning her revange (even apparently it being to late for her to be happy). “They killed hundreds and regreat to kill their mostly hated ones, it has no sense”, but the other killing were for auto defense and to reach their objectives and were part of the “tiredness process”, showed in cutscenes, in game dialogues and changes into character appearance and in game disposition. Abby no killing Ellie is justified for all suffering and the conscience that she brings it for her and her friends and her change after being safe and saving her enemies and seeing the craziness of a war into a apocalyptic world at the Island.
Ellie not killing Abby is justified cause her essence was good, the revenge make her loose friends, home and love, and at the last moment, into a game part that show her visibility tired and depressed, physically hurt, she sees the emptiness of it all.

A controversial game that will not be for everyone, specially the ones that pay bo attention for all story, but for me a almost perfect game and the best one for PS4, a great closure for this console.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
