    The weapons don't feel powerful I mean at one point I shot an enemy point Blank with a bolt action rifle in the head and she just stumbled back not very realistic at all ,The controls felt so clumsy and aged When playing as abby I felt more powerful as her melee attacks offers some nice hand to hand combat where ellie with her Switchblade basically feels like a nail file and does little damage you can pick up better melee weapons for ellie but they usually break within 2 to 3 attacks it's like naughty dog wanted you to prefer playing as Abbey

    Even tho abbey felt better to play with While playing as her it felt wrong I felt like I had betrayed joel who Id come to love so much in the first game, is this what they wanted I dont know I cannot help but feel like this game would have been as good as the first if Neil druckmann wouldnt have destroyed the story I feel like he has lost touch with the fan base and gone too political Naughty dog was great when Amy Hennig was leading the way it's so sad to see a great game franchise fall this way    … Expand

    This game is just a big letdown and a disgrace! If you loved the first one, do yourself a favour and forget about this piece of trash. I'm still shocked how Naughty Dog managed it to kill off such a big franchise in just two hours, unbelievable!

    The game is boring. The first part was much better, such a game Ubisoft for 2-3 years can do, TLOU2 was developed for 7 years, for 7 years it was possible to make the Witcher 4.

    The game is a masterpiece. Don’t listen to the people crying that Joel’s death wasn’t all sun shine and rainbows in a **** POST APOCALYPSE, don’t listen to the insecure and pathetic neck beards who are angry that gay people exist. The game doesn’t shove the SJW stuff in your face unless to you that means showing you anything that isn’t heterosexual. I am 12 hours in and the there was about three lines of dialogue where Ellie calls someone a bigot because they called her a dyke. Literally nothing else. If you are emotionally threatened by that, it’s your problem.     Looking back at part one, this game doesn't deserve any reasonable attention because even if you want to you want to make it dark and gritty there have to be balance and implementation in the plot have have to be done right not having to try too hard pushing lame agendas.     Technically very good, but the story is an out and out abomination.
    It destroys everything that was wonderful and enjoyable about the first game and replaces it with a cast of unlikeable characters and gender rubbish.

    Сюжет никакой вообще, геймплей отстой, задумка ужс...     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The graphics are very good, however, just like any other game, graphics will not uphold a game if the gameplay and story are not good. The gameplay is similar to the first Last of Us game, and due to certain elements, the gameplay clashes with the storytelling, and thus the player loses immersion. And at times the motivation to keep playing

    What completely ruins the game is the nonsensical story and what they did to the characters.
    Joel, the protagonist of the first Last of Us is killed off within a few hours and is left as nothing more than a flashback character to refer to when needed to push the narrative. Everything he managed to achieve from his decisions are now thrown away in this game.

    Ellie as a playable character has many times clashed against the story's narrative. At times murdering enemies left and right through whatever tactics during the game, and yet becomes almost traumatized from one particular murder. At the end of the game, she has the opportunity to kill Abby in a final fight and yet somehow lets her go. The murderer of her foster father. And she loses everything in the end and becomes alone like she feared in the first Last of Us game.

    Abby by far as a playable character is the most hated due to many reasons. Her character design is the symbol of how SJW agenda wishes for female characters to look and act. A somewhat masculine female face on a masculine male-like body where no female sexuality can be seen. She does not even look like a girl and more like a male character. Her character is immediately hated due to the fact that she herself is the murderer of Joel. The story as the game progresses tries to shed some light on her character but it barely makes her less hated. Her sex scene is cringe-inducing and her character model makes it look like 2 guys are doing the deed with each other. Due to the her first act in the first few hours, players do not wish to emphasize with Abby, they will hate her, and they will not listen to why she did things. Her existence in the game isn't justified besides the weak premise of her own revenge, and it was achieved at the first few hours of the game.

    There are other questionable decisions done like one character having her character model look less sexualized by reducing her breast size compared to her real-life counterpart. And other such things that make the trailers from before nothing but lies.

    This game is a bait and switch, where the trailers lead us to believe that we would get another story about Joel and Ellie and their relationship as they deal with the theme of revenge. Instead, what we get is very poor storytelling similar to The Last Jedi and Terminator: Dark Fate where they kill off a beloved character for the sake of pushing the new "protagonist." All for the sake of SUBVERTING EXPECTATIONS.

    Inclusion is not bad, but it becomes bad when forced like how it was in this game. There were certain points in the game where this doesn't make sense to add. One such character proclaims being a different gender would have been fine in any other setting than a world that has already faced an apocalypse and even using it as a point for a story bit.

    Due to the ego of Neil Druckmann and interference from the "feminist activist" Anita Sarkeesian, the Last of Us 2 is a sequel that does not deserve to exist or considered even remotely canon to the Last of Us series.

    The leaks that came out months prior to the game's release were all true.

    To all who have yet to get the Last of Us 2. Save your money. If you were a fan of the first Last of Us, you will not like this game whatsoever. The game's storytelling is filled with plotholes, the characters are inconsistent and breaks immersion. It is a slap to the face to fans, it is a spit in the face of fans, it is a disservice to the characters we grew to love very much from the first Last of Us. All for the sake of meaningless subversion of expectations and SJW agenda pushing.

    Naughty Dog as it is, currently does not deserve any money for this game. Vote with your wallets and do not buy this game.    … Expand

I don't care for the antagonists motives and nothing in my 11 hours and 38 minutes changes that other than making it a grind to push thru to see the rest of Ellie's story.

I pre-orded this game the second I could. This pains for me to say but this game's story did not live up to its hype at all.     This pains for me to say but this game's story did not live up to its hype at all. I should've allowed myself to get spoiled but I didn't and I regret not doing it. I'm not going to spoil any parts of the game but all I'm going to say is that they removed a character in a rather disappointing and poorly written way. The game's story revolves around Ellie's revenge which is able to work. However, throughout Ellie's journey of killing hundreds of walkers and infected, it ends in one of the most anticlimactic endings I've ever seen in a video game. The amount of pain, loss, and suffering all for nothing because Ellie has a simple flashback. If you want to know what I'm talking about, go search up the ending for yourself. There is also a very unnecessary sex between Abby and a male but for some reason, there is a scene where Ellie and her girlfriend Dina are about to have sex but it fades to black instead.

    If you enjoyed the game, that is totally fine but I think we can all agree that the story could've been written much better. This game completely misses the charm that made the original Last of Us so special. Whats even more painful is that there is flashbacks of Ellie and Joel bonding that I enjoyed playing much more than the main story line. I feel there was much better writing planned out but Neil Druckman and Anita Sarkeesian messed up a lot of the story.

    This is why you don't pre-order no matter how long you've been waiting for a game even by what I used to call the greatest video game developers on the planet. You messed up on this Naughty Dog.    … Expand

    Having finished the game 20 minutes ago, I must say I really enjoyed this piece of art. It is a really worthy sequel that is even netter than the first game. I highly recommend it.

    Maravilloso Juego nos ha dado nuestra compañía favorita, el GOTY de este año. Gráficos? Sublimes, Audio? Brutal, Historia? Única, jugabilidad? Exquisita. Solo los haters de Sony criticarían esta obra maestra de toda la creación, digno de las mejores interpretaciones. Apoya a la comunidad LGTB, por lo que ya de por si debería admirada Sony, y grande Neil, por este juegazo.

    The story in this game is one of the worst I ever played and I can say I was an avid fan of Last of us (i was stupid to believe that leaks are not true and pre-ordered this trash)

Joel would never make a mistake like this. He was a badass, at least give him a noble death. The central of the game was the relationship between Joel and Ellie and right at the beginning, Joel is gone. It's not about the fact that he died. IT'S HOW HE DIED!     The game is related to part 1 only characters, the end of the game is just awful and illogical, the whole game pulled only Joel in flashbacks, good only one graphics, gameplay is long and monotonous in the last mission I wanted to see the end and not shoot again, I would better pass part 1 again than this.

    As a player of the first one, I was expecting at least a nice experience from the lore. But even that they destroyed it. The game is filled with bugs and cutscenes so there isnt much gameplay. Since I didnt see the leaks and the trailers shown mostly gameplay I'm deeply disapointed

SPOILER They killed off Joel in the first hour, Joel dying is not the main problem though, in fact many of us expected it. Its the way he died that just sucked.     I'm so disappointed, such a great characters and beautiful story from first game. Was not continued in sequel. This game is a torture not fun as it should be. It is hard to not acknowledge the the graphics is beautiful, location's are full different things and details. But for me this is story driven game so if im disappointed about this all other things are not important.

Ellie and joel may have changed in the 5 years since the last of us but these characters feel like they were stripped of their old characters and just made into 2d characters. One of the good things that I can highlight are the gameplay, the way to target artificial intelligence, among others. The graphics look great. Other things that I can highlight are the small details that nauthy dog gives that her games, this is not far behind, each stage, each climate were surely created down to the smallest detail. Now I will talk about history. Let's start at the beginning. It is quite good that they show the environment in which the characters live and show their respective indifferences. Ellie looks more mature but is still a teenager. Dina (her love interest) is very well added, since the dlc of the first game Ellie's sexuality is demonstrated. I have many more things to say but I really don't remember right now. Now I will say the bad or regular things. I start with the first most important death in the game, Joel's, considering that he is no longer the same as before and because not because he is the protagonist he has to be invincible, but even so they could implement this fact in the middle of the game (for example) even so what happened makes the players want to take revenge with all their forces. Another thing I didn't like too much was how much we used Abby. I know that somehow they try to explain the other side of the coin, but a lot of people already bored playing with the antagonist so much. Now I will talk about the deaths. For fans of the original, this is a joke and a absolute disappointment for all of those who have waited seven years for a great, and even better sequel. The story is mediocre and is a slap in the face with razor blades and lemon juice. Yes the gameplay and graphics are some of the best I have ever seen, but the story is so atrocious, that I had constantly found it challenging to continue my play through. My hands were as if they did not want me to pick up the controller to pick up where I left off. Spoiler warning from this point on: In the beginning we play as Joel for only 1-2 minutes and then his killed off in a terrible way. For the rest of the game we play as Ellie and Another woman whom I cannot name. These two women are suppose to be “strong female characters” or that is what it appears to me. I do not have a problem with playing as women, the problem is how they decided to make us play with the person who killed the protagonist of part one, who was loved by many because of how relatable and defined his personality was. That was all thrown out the window for part 2, because Joel is much more carefree and friendly. For anyone who as played part one, this is a different Joel compared to the cruel survivor of part one. The cool character that we once knew for his rampages and one man army fights, was easily taken down by just a small group, not to include that Tommy was there too. Half of the game we play as Jack M. Crazy Fist (the woman who killed Joel) I don’t what the writers were thinking when they made the choice to make US the player, play as this hated character. If they wanted to tell her story, then just do it in flashbacks that aren’t long. As for Ellie her story is getting revenge for her father figure, Joel. Revenge and a love story is what Ellie’s journey is. Normally I wouldn’t have a problem with choices like this, but the way they chose to show and tell these events were just awful. Back to Joel, he is just a “memory” in this sequel, as he is only seen in flashbacks from the moment of his death that happens in the beginning of the game. We the fans wanted a fully playable Joel with a combination of his old man strength, and raw beard power. If we could not play as Joel, then it would have been nice to at least have him as a companion with a later death with a purpose. There are many other factors to contribute to the downfall of such a beautiful masterpiece, such as the trailer that had many fans believe that Joel was alive and was with Ellie during her journey. My last point is the ending. Ellie’s entire journey was to kill Joel’s murder, and at the end she lets The ox woman live. Not to mention that Jack M. Fist bites Ellie’s fingers off and she doesn't finish her off. Ellie forgives for the cold killing of Joel, but doesn't forgive Joel for saving her, this made me want to grab a brick in real life and throw it through my TV. The only reason I don’t give it a zero, is because of the graphics, gameplay, and attention to detail. This game was a HUGE let down and disappointment.… Expand

    TLOU fans loved the bond between Joel and Ellie and that's what many expected to see more in part 2 but instead Naughty Dog (ND) decided to kill the main character brutally. Within the first hour, the story lost its purpose and we play the rest of the game heartbroken to explore the crap. It took me a day to get back to the game and finish it.

    On one side ND injects anger against Abby, the person who killed Joel with no mercy, and later we play as her. I hated every single moment playing as Abby as she doesn't deserve the screen play. She popped into the game like a random ad.

    We played the whole game to take the revenge and after all the hassle we let Abby go. Why?! Where is Ellie's big mouth which always disrespected Joel and argued? ND completely ruined the story and I wish there was no part 2 for The Last of Us. The trailers were completely a bait to encourage everybody to buy the game and get themselves disappointed.

    **ROMANCE**
    Comming to the back and forth scenes. There was no point of Romantic scenes while the players are eager to kill Abby! I wasn't able to explore the environment, kill enemies and infected with the same energy when I played the first part. **GLITCHES AND BUGS**
    The AI, Diana and other followers, tend to block my path and sometimes kicks us out of cover. Moreover, my character glitched at a point when getting on the boat. I streamed it for 3 minutes on YouTube for the record (Riz_Mub).

    After waiting for 7 years, The Last Of Us fans were stabbed in the back and their emotions were completely ignored. Naughty Dog ruined the story. I regret pre-ordering my game and a special thanks to Anita Sarkaseen for ruining the game.    … Expand

    I enjoyed playing this game for the first few hours. Graphics were amazing, and the story line seemed promising. That was until Neil Druckmann killed Joel. Neil Druckmann makes users feel hatred anger against the new character, Abby, by excluding Joel from the very beginning of the game. Then, he shows the backstory of Abby, which no one wanted to know, to justify her actions. I already felt disgusted and irritated by this time. But that wasn't all. The game forces THE USER TO CONTROL ABBY AND ATTACK ELLIE. FOR FXXK SAKE. I didn't want to play anymore. That was when i burnt the CD in my backyard out of disgust and disappointment.

    It's very good. Graphics and animations are amazing. I had no problem with the story, most people rating this game 0 have not actually played or owned. the game. If you liked the 1st one, you'll love playing this too.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
