This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Anyone who gives this game a low rating didn’t get the point of the game. It’s easy to dehumanize your enemies and kill them without thought- it’s easy to seek revenge and live in hate. It’s harder to let go and forgive. Both sides of the story were done beautifully and by the last major fight scene I was so torn and upset— I didn’t want to lose anyone and I saw each’s motivations. This game deserves a round of applause. Expand

I get that some fans are upset about the early death of Joel, but it drove a powerful narrative and forces you to re-evaluate his actions at the end of the first game. Very engaging story, phenomenal visuals, and robust gameplay. Expand

The story is well written with interesting main characters with their own moral and development through the game and the ending is AMAZING, coherent and SAD, THERE ARE NO PLOT HOLES and the stupid haters are spreading this lie for no reason. The only problem I had with the plot is they way it is shown, some flashbacks are a little bit long and shown in inappropriate scenes, so I think I would give an 9/10 because of this.( I gave 10 cause a lot of stupid haters are bombing negative reviews and they don't even played the game) Expand

I don't know what people are so mad about, sure the middle of the game is slow and the main antagonistic is not really fun to play as/care about but jeeez is the story and the ending amazing and deserves a 10/10 just for that, my favorite story driven game of all time. Please at least try the game for yourself... you won't regret it...

ANYWAY this is quite honestly my second favourite game of this generation (coming just after Uncharted 4) This game fully encapsulates how dark and brutal and horrific the world truly is and can be. This game is about hate and how it eats you inside, and it truly, absolutely champions those themes with a story that is rich, complex and engaging as all hell. This game forces you and its characters onto the absolute cusp of breaking down, and maybe even pushes you over the edge a couple times.

It's bold, it takes risks and it's not a rehash of the first one. It's sad that the fanbase is going full Star Wars on this one but ignore the fanbase and think about what you're seeing and what it means.

The gameplay is 10/10 as I've never seen a game play so smooth in 30fps, it's mental! The story, unlike some people who didn't undestand it are saying, is a piece of art (10/10) , it teaches us values at the same time it plays with our feelings. What other game does that?? This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well, a lot has already been said about this game, much of it a clumsy, repetitive, awkward pounding of trite ideas, to the point where I have to tune it out just to keep my sanity. Which for me is a perfect metaphor for the narrative style of this game. I will preface this by saying, I really, really wanted to like this game. I gave it every chance, overlooking questionable decisions early on because I just wanted to really like it. I was totally on board for like the first 8 hours. I really was. But ultimately, whereas I didn't hate it, I didn't like it. It just .... was something I did for 25 hours. Long before it ended, I was done. Well, let's go with some positives, and yes, there are a lot; the world we inhabit is stunning. Amazing. How it looks, how it sounds, and how it feels to be in it. The AI is just awesome. Responsive, smart, and the Seraphites (although a pretty obvious rip off of the Walking Dead with the whistles and all) were a fun new wrinkle to deal with. The gameplay is fine, what I expected, and definitely serves the game well enough that I had no issues with it, though I won't say it broke any new ground, except maybe the prone movement was cool. Some of the new characters I liked a lot, and almost wish we could have seen more of Dina, Lev, and Jessie. The acting is top notch, even when the writing fails it. I'd even say the acting (and the animations that accompany it) saves parts of this game. Some of the cutscenes/flashbacks were very well done, and actually moved me. The final scene with Joel and Ellie makes me long for what the game could have been. But ultimately, this game is not about combat, or multi player, or any of that, this game was going to sink or swim on it's story. If you are going to take bold risks with storytelling, you have to craft it perfectly, be incredibly skilled as to how to tell a compelling story without letting me know what you're doing, without these "bold ideas" getting in the way of my involvement with the narrative. Instead, we end up completely trapped by it, with cheap manipulative pandering, and relentlessly pounded by an annoyingly repetitive, clumsy idea that SEE ABBY HAS A STORY TOO SHE ISN'T BAD SHE HAS A DOG GET IT SEE GET IT. Someone said it was like there was a neon sign in the back of each of Abby's scenes that said "PLEASE LIKE HER THE SCRIPT REALLY NEEDS YOU TO". I almost punched my screen when Yara says "oh Abby, you're such a good person". The repetitiveness and clumsiness insulted me, and ultimately bored me. It's not like it was a bad idea in concept; but it kinda felt like the writers had this idea, without the skills or craftsmanship to pull it off gracefully, and just went with cheap parlor tricks to manipulate us rather than a great story/character to involve us. I could see the themes they wanted to explore as a backdrop to tell a great story; with the right handling, it could work. But not AS the story. I mean, if you want to explore revenge, forgiveness and the cost of it all, OK, not that interesting, but OK, not awful either. But it just isn't sturdy enough to support the entire story on it's own, without anything else to prop it up, and eventually, the narrative buckles under that weight. It's almost like they wrote this as an exercise, something a 2nd year English class would do, "change the perspective of the story to make us sympathize with a previously hated character". This game would likely get a B- on that paper. They got so wrapped up in the theme, and the ideas, and the twists, and being all clever; they forget to tell a good story. I gotta admit, I was in shock when I found myself shouting at my screen, mocking the dialogue, Rocky Horror style, so relentless and clumsy was their attempt to make me "relate to Abby". But the real disaster there is; it took me out of the game. I was no longer in the game, but just watching it. I have to admit; that kind of deflated me a bit, because I really wanted to like this game a lot. All that said, in comparison to other games, it is not a bad game. At all. I applaud them taking the chance, and like I said, it looks and sounds amazing. It has it's positives. It gets a 7, because with they attempted, and how well they do parts of it, I have to grade it on that scale. But weirdly, sadly, and surprisingly, after years of anxiously waiting for this game, the one thing I did not think I would say after playing The Last of Us 2. I don't care if they make another one. And that kinda sucks. Expand

    Graphics on my Pro: 9/10
Story: 9/10... it made me mad, sad, happy and silently watch the credits go by reflecting on the story that Naughty Dog wrote.
    Controls: 9/10
    Characters: 10/10

Now to address the massive amount of homophobic trolls giving this game a 0 just because the game has a gay character is sad and hurts the gaming industry entirely.. (seriously over 115,000 reviews when Part one currently only has a total of 22,000 reviews including the Remastered).
We begged Naughty Dog to make a part 2 and how does the community thank them? By giving over 50,000 negative reviews, threaten the voice actors/actresses with violence and death threats, accusing Naughty Dog of false advertising??? and making anti-Semitic comments towards the director.
This game deserves more than a 5.2 average score (currently), let's stop the hate and trolling... we as gamers are better than that.
Thank you Naughty Dog and thank you to those who actually played and finished the game before giving the review.

2.I feel it was interesting to understand Abbies back story and reflect on Joel’s actions but over 10 hours of playing as Abby, why ,we wanted Ellie or Joel for it all.Not someone we don’t even know. Also we didn’t need that s## scene we know it’s a 18 but we didn’t want that.

3.There are videos online of Neil Druckmann saying you don’t have to kill dogs, that was a lie also the backlash he is doing saying we are homophobic or trans-phobic just for not liking the game. Stop being one of these teen girls believing you can end racism with just posting a black feed on Instagram. 4. Laura Bailey was the voice actor of Abby just because we hate her does not mean the voice actor should get death threats. We are better than this people.

    5. Sony how could you allow that ending and how can you message a review website (polygon I think it was called) and say you disagree with their review, it’s called a review not what ever Sony wants it to be called.

The Last of Us 2 sets out to drive a message deep into the player, and my God it delivers.

That brings me to the recent controversy surrounding this game. As well as it's unjust and unwarranted review bombing. It makes me sick to see so much work, and effort being spat on, and hated by so many, for such a stupid reason. Even if you choose to dislike the title based on one narrative desition made early on in the game. You have to respect the effort, and love that Naughty Dog put into their game. So many poured everything they had into this title. To see it being treated like this is incredibly heartbreaking. If you're under the impression that this game is bad, based on the influx of negative reviews, I just want you to know. The game is wonderful and creates a world just as morbidly beautiful as the original. Do not let these unfounded reviews sway you away from this awesome experience.

Not as good as the first and I don't like some of the forced actions you are required to do to push certain scenes along (the press X to murder during a cut scene was a bit full on). I think this might be why people give it so much hate.

In a movie you are following a character, you don't have to agree with the actions. In video games you have choice... But this does not give it to you.

Mechanically, this game is flawless. Every animation is oozing with character and emotion. The sound design is impeccable and you'll find lots of little sounds you never expected to hear but glad you did. Combat is visceral and responsive and the enemy AI is diverse. I look at the quality in disbelief of what they've accomplished and every moment has been a pleasure. When you witness each animation for the first time, you can pick up on little details, like how drawers are lifted slightly as they're pulled out.

The thing most people dislike is the story. They say it falls flat or is too divergent, but I think it takes a bold step into discussing, exploring and representing parts of the human experience that most games/movies/shows miss out on. You explore an entirely destructive experience in which you lose far more than you could imagine as multiple powerful revenge narratives take their course.

The series is founded on tragedy and trauma, so don't expect to find happy endings and silver linings here. While the unconventional act structure leaves a major plot thread hanging for multiple hours, time bounces back and forth seemingly at whim and fleeting characters pass in and out of the story at regular intervals, you come to understand that nothing is as simple as you would to believe it is, and justice cannot be true justice without context and empathy.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’m here to contribute to the positive change in consensus that this game rightfully deserves.

The Last Of Us Part II is an absolutely stellar game that has unfortunately been directly impacted upon release by the horrible people who leaked the spoilers months ago. People saw those, decided how they wanted to feel about it completely out of context, and suddenly it was cool to hate the game. Suddenly it was cool to label it as agenda pushing, political or whatever. It’s not. It just happens to be about real people who (shocker) arent always straight white dudes. The funniest thing is that people are still labeling Abby as trans . It wouldn’t matter if she was, but she isn’t. So by default, tons of people’s opinions aren’t valid.

I thought this game was an improvement upon the original in each and every way. It even rectified my one and only complaint in the first game, which was the super clunky melee combat that resorted to mashing square and punching enemies in the face over and over with the same animation. Adding the dodge mechanic went a long way in the sequel.

Seattle is the most well realized real world city that I’ve ever seen in a game. As someone who grew up in the area I had an absolute blast exploring every nook and cranny.

The story is utterly compelling from start to finish. I was literally on the edge of my seat with completely undivided attention during every cutscene. I desperately wanted to keep coming back to the game because I just wanted to know what happened next. It’s an added bonus then, that the gameplay is so damn good.

This is the smartest enemy AI I’ve ever encountered. It truly felt like I was hiding from real people at times. The moment I knew this was on another level was during the first encounter with Wolves. I ran into a classroom after being seen and ducked behind a desk, to which an enemy called out “she’s by the desk!”, to which I audibly said “what the ****

I admired the choice of having Joel’s death be the catalyst for the story. I was disgusted and appalled by it, and immediately understood why they did it. I now shared the same anger as Ellie. Ellie, who had just seen her “father” get viscerally murdered. And me, who had just seen the protagonist I just spent 14 hours connecting with getting murdered. That was powerful. Now the player shares the motivation completely with Ellie and is like “yep, let’s go kick the **** out of this woman.” And what an utter, shocking surprise it was later when Naughty Dog managed to make me love Abby.

There are two sides to every story. Everybody is the villain in somebody else’s story. It’s such a shame that people saw Abby do what she did and then never chose to forgive her, never gave her a chance or even tried to see from her perspective. That’s so strange to me that people were so stubborn that they went through her half of the game and had their opinion completely unchanged. That means that YOU can’t forgive people. That means you might have a problem with putting yourself in other people’s shoes. I hope you can play this game again and maybe think about what that says about yourself.

I’m still mulling over my experience with this game because I just finished it a few days ago. But for me I’d add it to my short list of what I consider perfect games, the other two being Uncharted 4 and Bioshock. Uncharted 4 is probably still my favorite Naughty Dog game, but I’m biased to that series I think cause it just means a whole lot to me.

I will add that yes, the game is ridiculously dark, but I actually walked away from it a lot more hopeful than I thought it would be. It actually ended on a somewhat positive note for both Abby and Ellie. Yes, Ellie lost her family, but she’s become a better person, she’s moving on from Joel and she’s off (I think) to go reconcile with Dina. I interpret this way: Ellie realized that if she was able to forgive Joel, then maybe Dina could forgive her. And I think she will, cause Dina rules.

I went on for a long while and I hope I wasn’t too harsh on the people who didn’t like it. If you played it and didn’t like it that’s perfectly fine. The people who don’t play it and shout around saying the game sucks need to be silenced though. (Not killed. Don’t kill them. Just, be louder than them about the true nature of this game. Because it’s incredible.)

I feel like it has to be said, but this isn't a good game(anyone trying to say it's a 10/10 clearly is trying to sell something or impress someone), it isn't a bad game either (certainly not a 0/10, anyone who says that isn't being realistic). I have recently finished the game and there are mixed feelings. On the one hand it is very clear to see how amazing the graphics are, the voice acting, the animations, sound designs, it very easy to see the work that was put into it. However that makes it even more painful when you have to slog through the terrible writing (I don't give a damn about the controversially aspects; killing off Joe doesn't mean the game is bad and having LGBQTA representation doesn't automatically make this a good game.). There are huge plot holes in the story, the pacing is off, the character's motivation, drive and resolution it's just not fleshed out enough. It's as if Neil Druckman wanted to stuff a bunch bold ideas and concepts into this one game, but didn't want to spend the time building the characters and settings, to actually flesh these ideas out, which leave a lot of half finished ideas just sitting out, for the gamer to try and put together on their own. Which is incredibly disappointing seeing as story was the strongest aspect in the Last of Us. The only thing I can think of that could explain this large discrepancy in story writing quality; based on my research the changes was in Neil Druckman, the original Last of Us had a large writing team who helped him make the story what it was, they helped solidify the good ideas and they quickly cut away his bad ideas. However in the Last of Us 2 the team has been more hesitant to try and correct him as they feared "voicing their concerns with the story" would lead to their termination. That issue clearly shows in the erratic storytelling in this game. The only good thing I can say that came from this game is that recent reporting have shown that a lot of employees have left Naughty Dog, which means those amazing animators, voice actors, sound designers, graphic artists and even the writers who were too afraid to speak up against Neil Druckman, will be working on other(hopefully), better written games. While the game is very beautiful and probably one of the best looking PS4 games out there. The atmosphere is dripping with amazing attention to detail. I mean from exploring abandoned cities and towns to sneaking your way through the woods and traveling across from seashore to seashore etc. There are many more different locations to explore but with caution. The controls are pretty well polished and easy to grasp aside from a few hiccups. The sound design is almost perfect. Those dang clickers. There are not enough enemy varieties IMO. Only the regular infected and the clickers are present with a new type of enemy which are forgettable and annoying at best. The characters are very boring and one sided. I mean I didn't get attached to a single character like in the previous game. The character building and progression was all over the place. I mean by the time you start liking a character then the game introduces new characters as story fillers. The presentation was not as impactful as in the original. I was never on the edge of my seat. Now the story..... well the story was completely bad. Now this is my review and opinion. Apart from time jumps which were very poorly done and out of place. I think they ruined the pace of the game. There was a certain plot point in which was the driving force behind the whole game direction. They tried something balsy but failed. I found myself annoyed and mad playing the game and by the time I finished, I literally didn't have that feeling of not wanting the game to end. I was glad when the game ended. Towards the end I felt the game was dragging and went on too long. In closing, I didnt enjoy this game as much as the first one. The graphics were amazing and the controls were easy to grasp but the story, presentation and characters were all letdowns for me. Also there were not enough enemy variety.

La muerte de Joel era algo que todo veíamos venir y no concuerdo con la gente que dice que merecía algo digno.
Joel era un foragido, alguien que condenó a la humanidad por amor.

The first game had such a great story and the second game just threw that story into the garbage instead of following our main heroes on their journey trough the world that was established in the amazing first game. I think the biggest criticisms and controversies could've been avoided if naughty dog had changed the formula and allowed for player choice so your story would depend on what you are as a person. Whether you like the story or not definitely depends on your personality and your emotions at the time. However, regardless of if you agree with the character choices this game definitely makes you think about the consequences and the themes explored. It loses a point simply because of the pacing issue near the end. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is one of the most disappointing sequels in the history of games. While it's one of the most technically beautiful games of the generation and the gameplay is solid, the story and narrative absolutely kills everything the game has to offer.

The gameplay is improved from the original game. Proning is now an option and makes stealth segments more engaging and the AI is competent enough to give tension. The musical score is great, the visuals are spectacular (some of the best of this generation) and the voice cast is pitch perfect with their performances.

But all of that falls flat on it's face because of the story. Every single thing aspect of this game's story is a poorly told mess that is meant to throw players for a loop, but it fails horribly due to the leaps you have to take. The original characters from the first game act so out of character, they may as well be different people altogether. Ellie in particular is taken from likable to unlikable, Joel is nowhere near as clever as he was in the original and by the end, Tommy is so out of character, it's jarring.

Then there are the new characters who are all failures except for Jesse. Abby is one of the most unlikable characters I've seen in a game and almost everything wrong with the story can be attributed to it's focus on her and how said focus is. It tries too hard to make you sympathize with her after she kills Joel that it comes off laughable and you don't buy it.

Everything about this game is a contradiction. Even the gameplay improvements mean nothing when the story is making you feel bad for doing the things you do in-game. The message of "revenge is bad" only seems to apply to Ellie because Abby walks away alive for the same reason Ellie lost everything. With Abby it's ok, with Ellie it's not. Why? It makes no sense at all and gives conflicting ideologies within it's plot.

And the way it retcons the ending of the original game actually makes Joel more sympathetic with what he did despite the game desperately trying to portray him as a monster. It really feels like the game has no idea what it wants to do. The best moments in the story are the flashbacks between Joel and Ellie because apparently that's where the game remembers that the best thing about the original game was the dynamic between the two.

The Last of Us Part II is an absolutely jumbled mess that literally falls and disassembles because of how much the story implodes in on itself. As stated, not even the gameplay feels satisfying because the game wants you to feel bad for what you are doing. So if the gameplay is supposed to make you feel miserable and the story is a terribly told and jumbled mess that has no idea what it wants to do filled with nothing but irredeemable and unlikable characters with the only good ones dying at the hands of Abby, what am I supposed to enjoy?

I really don't recommend playing this game, especially if you've played the original. Just because the writing can be considered "bold" or "ambitious" does not absolve you of criticism if it is done poorly. Bold and ambitious both involve taking risks, and it's a risk that did not pay off at all with this game.

I braced myself for a horrible travesty of a game after reading the negative reactions but this game delivered everytime I turned around. The story and pacing for me were excellent.! Ellie was written perfectly and when here quest for revenge starts to eat away at her you feel it. Somewhere along the line she starts to think what am I becoming and you can tell it she is turning into someone she doesn't like. And,playing as Abby is just as powerful someone you want to hate but you're forced to see she is just a person just like Ellie who went through with her quest for revenge and learns that it wasn't worth it and didn't change anything for her. Two sides of the same coin that show revenge is never the answer especially in a world where the ultimate fight is to try to hold on to their humanity. It's not easy but sometimes the fight to stay human is the hardest one of all and this game illustrates that point perfectly! Excellent lesson for the times we live in today! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is phenomenal. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever played and it took huge risks that many devs would never take.

    The bad first:

My only negatives are that the gameplay can get a little repetitive after awhile and that yes, some of the ways things play out are a little unrealistic, but I understand why realism is sacrificed in order to make the experience fun for the player.

    The good:

The story is amazing if you can allow yourself to exhibit a little empathy. This game is set in a tough, cruel, brutal setting. It’s not a world of heroes and villains, it’s a world of survivors who have the opportunity take the law into their own hands.

    Graphics and score are breathtaking.

Relatable characters that you get attached to. It’s clear at this point that people are divided on this, but personally my favorite performance was Laura Bailey as Abby. Abby is unlike any female pro/an(?)tagonist I’ve seen in 30 years of gaming and I really appreciated seeing someone portrayed that doesn’t fit this cookie cutter mold you see from many female characters. I fear the backlash from the mentally unstable, privileged, disgusting losers who are sending death threats (DEATH THREATS!?!?) to writers and voice actors over a freaking video game will deter devs from taking these type of risks in a future. My suggestion is that if you are one of these people that are easily triggered anytime anyone other than white males get a little shine, if you feel attacked every single time something is praised that’s not white male dominated, if you are one of these people that can’t wait to tear down successful media that doesn’t necessarily represent you, please stay away from this game. Go play Super Mario and the hundreds of other games that have been created throughout history with only you in mind and live your little power fantasy. Your hatred is only making this game more talked about, more relevant and more successful.

My suggestion that if you are actively sending death threats to anyone, but in this case particularly people who are simply writing and performing a piece of entertainment that literally means nothing in the most literal sense that nothing can mean in the grand scheme of things, is to please, please seek help. You are an embarrassment to the human race.

Congrats Naughty Dog! I hope to see at least one more game set in this universe as I ended the game only wanting more, but if this was the last ride, it was still more than we deserved.

I won't lie and say I'm the biggest Last of Us fan, that I 100% the game, got it early, etc. However what I will tell you is that it is a good game, the visuals and audio design are gorgeous, the developers added a much-needed coat of paint to the mechanics, it is a very solid base. However, the criticisms come with the story and characters.

I think what NaughtyDog did with the game is bold, killing one of the beloved characters and forcing the player to play as the character who killed them. I won't say I was happy with it, but I could also see that ND wanted to create the narrative that "every story has two sides" and ask that you consider the sympathy towards what Abby has gone through and how it parallel's Ellie's story. There has also been complaints that Ellie would never 'act the way she does' within the game, however, as someone who has watched a close family member die, her anger and spite are understandable and especially in such an uncut setting, it makes sense that she'd feel so strongly as to do what she does.

A lot of other reviews I've read seem to take the game too seriously as if Naughty dog promised them something and then snatched it away. It isn't like that, this game is a new chapter in an already developed story, Ellie is 20 by the end of the story, all she knows is pain and loss. This game isn't about wrapping up Ellie's story, it's showing the end of Ellie's journey and the result of what she has caused.

In my opinion, but it, I believe it is a 10/10 game; however people are right to say that this game is divisive, so I cannot guarantee you’ll form the same opinion of this game as I have. Review: The Last of us Part II is a masterpiece without saying. I believe that this game shines in many aspects, but the one aspect that I believe it shines in “and many others don’t” is the story. As much as this seems not to be the case, not only is the story a self constrained well written emotional rollercoaster, but in my opinion perfectly compliments the first game in almost every aspect, most of all seen through story. Let’s talk about the major turn off in the story first. Joel’s death, more importantly Joel’s death at the hands of Abby, a random women whom you don’t know off nor do you know her intentions until before you can even process it, has played a golf tournament whilst using Joel’s unfortunate head as the driving range. At this moment you will want to quit. I did to, at this moment you will understand the hate, until you don’t. Joel’s death was necessary in my opinion. In a revenge story you need to be ok terms with the character, and if Dina had died, well you would feel sad for Ellie, but you would feel that way yourself, but by killing Joel, in such a traumatic and realistic manner (on the basis that in the world of The Last of Us, you do not to go out like Iron Man), it makes you want revenge, not Ellie, you. Furthermore, you see and feel these effects throughout the game. When Ellie kills a pregnant lady, when Ellie looses everything, and here is where that perfect complimentary comes between part 1 and part 2. Ellie tells Sam that she’s scared of ending up alone, and she doesn’t want to loose everyone, and in part 2 that happens, but in the end. It’s her relationship with Joel that stops her from tipping over the edge, as she remembers that she forgave Joel for the fireflies lie, and so she forgives Abby. Speaking of. Playing as Abby was an amazing experience. Seeing the other side of the coin only conflicted me more into realising who here was the villain, only deepening the characters. Not only that but once agin giving part 1 a deeper meaning, being that Joel’s choice in the first game had consequences, his lie with Ellie, his wrong doing against Abby, and it all ties that together in the perfect sequel, that I believe is The Last of Us Part II Expand

Emotional, touching, captivating. This second chapter is the perfect sequel to the first part. Both are masterpieces, I wouldn't even know which one to pick. Of course it's heartbreaking to play for so many reasons, but I don't think any other videogame has ever had such a profound impact. Excellent job by Naughty Dog (again!).

Revenge is an emotion that lacks maturity and thoughtfulness; something the first game had in spades. The key plot device was ultimately a bad choice and proves there never really was a “Part 2” story to begin with; just as the creators said at the end of the first game.

Obv gameplay, graphics and sound are perfect.
But when a story is so bad like this it makes the game completely unplayable.

Replay the first game instead of buying this.

Expand

Dont listen people we go mad because « Joel is Dead » bla bla.
If somebody is in the same situation like Abby, we gonna do the same thing.

    Same for Ellie.

The gale is great, the story is cool and different. Just for that, i like this game.

A great follow up to the first game. It a little bogged down with pacing issues, and I thought we spent way too much time in Seattle, but still a terrific experience end to end.

Unfortunately for people like me who waited 7 years for the epic conclusion of this story i got disapointed with the way the story was portraied, it was written badly, if they wanted for us to conect a bit with abby we should have played with her in the beginning developing her story until the moment of her revenge, not like they did.

Besides we play for too much with abby, ellie is in the front cover and it is a 50/50 game with each

First of all the graphics, the animations, the game play are just awesome!
Secondly, and the most important, the story!

Not everyone can understand the story. It brings a lot of emotions, and you need to know the weight of those emotions to understand them. If you're someone who just want to kill zombies, well this game isn't for you. It's a powerful story, with a lot of grief, pain and suffering. Someone who hasn't passed through those in real life probably just will not feel the story and it's message.
If you're reading this and hated the game, well probably you just don't have enough maturity, you need to live a little more, and to grow a bit. The message is so, but so important!!! Please think about it, really hard. And it is a beautiful story. Seeing the two sides of the story was really important, we always need to think about all sides and understand me. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
